Anytime I call, they're quick to answer and modifying my order is always super easy. I've had an account with them for almost 10 years and haven't had any issues.

Culligan provides great service. I use them for my water softener and automated salt delivery. Their service tech Fabian who was recently at my house for service was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. Great service experience.

When we purchased our system a few years ago the salesperson explained that we could have salt delivered and installed. We used this service, but always found it difficult for two reasons - scheduling depends on when someone is in our area, which doesn't seem to happen often, and no time window can be given until the morning of the delivery day. This had resulted in my scheduling weeks out, and having to keep the entire delivery day open. Last month, I scheduled a delivery date a month out.
A week before the scheduled delivery I received a text that delivery would be three days earlier. There was no explanation, no request if this was okay with me, no other communication. When I called, I was told that their schedule changed. I explained that I could not be available on the new date until after 11 a.m., but the rep said that she could not guarantee a time. So, I made arrangements to wait on the new date. They did not show. I consider this disrespectful, rude and poor customer service. I will not be using Culligan again.

I purchased a Culligan Reverse Osmosis System in May of 2025. Let me be clear, the technician was very professional. My experience is specifically related to their corporate maintenance and labor costs. Last week, I scheduled my first annual service call to replace the Reverse Osmosis system’s filters. During this visit, the technician installed the Culligan 01041878 Aquasential Filter Kit (Pre, Post & Total Defense Stages 1, 3, and 4). The total cost of this service was $706.00, including $480 for the filter kit, $172 for labor, plus tax.
I am writing to express my serious concern regarding these costs. Quite frankly, this pricing is excessive and difficult to justify. Considering that I paid approximately $2,600 for the entire system just last year, the ongoing maintenance expenses at this rate are unreasonable. Within a relatively short period of time, the cumulative cost of filter replacements and service could equal or exceed the original purchase price of the system itself.
As a loyal customer, I expected Culligan to provide not only a quality product but also fair and sustainable maintenance pricing. These charges do not reflect that expectation and raise concerns about long-term affordability for your customers. I strongly urge Culligan to reevaluate its pricing structure for replacement parts and service. Customers should not feel penalized for maintaining the very systems your company sells. Transparent, reasonable, and customer-focused pricing would go a long way in maintaining trust and loyalty. I would appreciate a response addressing these concerns, as well as any options you may offer to reduce ongoing maintenance costs for customers like myself.

Culligan water- do not give your money to this company. I am a hard working person. The DMV provides better customer service than Culligan. If you want to be treated poorly, and charged for transportation fees for replacement of cooler that STOPPED working. Culligan also raised their prices, not notifying the consumer. I called to inquire why my bill was higher. They informed me that they are not obligated to notify customers. Just because they are not obligated to inform the customer, does not mean that its ok to do. Very unimpressed. Very lackluster. Go to a company that provides excellent customer service where you are not getting nickel and dimed.

Chris from Culligan Dayton provided our service call today for our Culligan well water arsenic filter. After many months of zero As, our arsenic checks showed the levels slowly creeping up. Chris, in consulting with his company, set a more frequent back flush. And he has ordered more medium, which when replaced last year promptly brought us back down to zero (our original pre-treatment levels were 56-80 ppb). Our back up point of use RO filters keep us safe through possible fluctuations, but Culligan allows us to keep our high volume well safe for all uses. We trust Chris and Culligan to continue to manage our well water. We fully understand that the wells in Greene County and Southwest Ohio are prone to naturally high arsenic (both As 5 &3) from the makeup of the bedrock.

By the worst customer service and communication I’ve ever experienced. They are so fast to respond when you are interested in the system. From the time you buy it nothing but poor communication and customer service. No one knows what is going on. Plus given 3 months of service free then every month get a bill then have to call and explain every month. Also the cost is ridiculous and a lot of hidden aspects. We were told we would get 6 months no payments interest free. Well nope. That didn’t happen. This is the most expensive and worst company I’ve ever done business with. I will give a review everywhere I can because if I know what I know now I would have never trusted this company. I have told all friends and family and will never recommend this company to anyone. They need to be investigated for poor business practices.

Culligan salesman Armando ** stopped at our new house on about Feb 20, 2026, don’t let him waste your time; 1.) Pepe LePew stunk up my house with a cheap pungent cologne like dead skunk on a rainy night. Goes to immediate hard sell! 2.) Plays with monthly numbers even if you want to just buy outright - INSISTED on doing a water test, I said No. It’s a new subdivision, likely best water yet, just water spots, began with $16,000 down to $7,000 IF I bought next 5 minutes, don’t fall for it. 3.) For stinking up my house, used my bathroom before he left - save yourself, shut the door on him, period! Young dope spent more time looking at my Corvette & motorcycle. Wasted time I won’t get back!

I received my bill today. SHOCK! They charged me $144.00 trip charge, + $145.00 labor charge for less than an hour work to change three water filters. Then $2.00 Statement fee and if I pay with a credit or debit card another $18.00. I expected to pay extra for purchasing the filters from them, but $515.11 total bill is OUTRAGEOUS.

I paid $8800 for a Culligan water softener, ox3 sulfur filter, and ox5 iron filter back in mid-2022. They gave me a year of Platinum Care and then began charging me $103 every month. What did I get for my $1236/year? A bag of salt delivered every 2 months. Most times they didn't even out the salt in the brine tank. They just dumped it in my yard and left. Worst part is that I was at home and they didn't call, email, text, or knock. They obviously didn't want to do even the slightest amount of work. Then there was a string of tornadoes in January 2024 and one of them damaged my system. Culligan charged me for everything! Even a little cheap plastic cover for the iron and sulfur filter they charged $170 each. All that money paid to them each month and they covered absolutely nothing.
In 2025, I cancelled Platinum Care. In total, I paid them $103/mo for 30 months. That's $3090 and received 15 bags of salt and nothing more for all that cost. They literally did no other work. Now it's 2026 and resin beads are coming from the drain hose and they refuse to honor the warranty but want to charge me full price for that, too. Stay far away from Culligan.

I’m disappointed with the lack of communication regarding my delivery. I’ve reached out several times requesting an updated delivery date but have not received a response. I completely understand that inclement weather can delay deliveries. All I’ve been requesting is a rescheduled delivery date so I can plan accordingly.

I purchased my softener in 2023. I called and told them I had water standing over the salt about 6 inches or a little more. Now this softner is one of their best. They told me they could send someone out to check it but it would cost me $149.00. Why should I have to pay that with it being that new so I said no I am not doing that. I called the salesperson and he said the same thing then after talking to him for about 3 times on this he came out. He said it was fine. I know better than that. So he said he adjusted the amount of water coming in. That did not work. Now I have this almost 3000.00 dollar softener that's not what it should be. I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY OR ADVISE ANYONE TO BUY FROM THEM. THEY ARE OVERPRICED AND NOT WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE.

I call to get a filter change and it’s not only doubled in price. It has tripled in one year. I would say this is price gouging to customers therefore I would never recommend them to anyone and I’m currently looking for a different system and honest people who aren’t in a business to take advantage and price gouge you. I have been very happy with this company up until now. Do not buy from them because they will probably triple their prices again next year.

Culligan Water Service is one of the most poorly run service companies I have ever dealt with. Chronic billing issues, unreliable service, and a complete absence of accountability define this company’s operations. Customer service is not merely ineffective—it is dismissive. Problems are ignored, explanations contradict one another, and escalation leads nowhere.
In October 2025, I paid my balance in full and formally cancelled service. When asked why, I explained—again—that water deliveries were inconsistent, scheduled delivery dates were routinely missed, and the driver repeatedly failed to collect empty bottles. At the time of cancellation, Culligan had 30 five-gallon water bottles and a hot/cold dispenser in my possession. I was explicitly instructed to place all equipment in my driveway for pickup, with assurance that a delivery driver would retrieve everything on November 3. That pickup never happened. Since then, I have made five separate calls requesting Culligan remove their equipment. As of January 5, 2026, the water dispenser is still sitting in my driveway. The 30 five-gallon bottles—left exposed due to Culligan’s failure to retrieve them—were blown away during recent wind storms.
Despite all of this, Culligan continues to bill me for a service that was cancelled and paid in full months ago. Culligan’s apparent business model is customer exhaustion: delay long enough, deflect responsibility, and hope the customer gives up. This is not how a professional—or ethical—company operates. I regret ever doing business with Culligan and strongly advise others to avoid them entirely. There are far better water service providers that actually respect their customers, their property, and their time.

Both the Culligan sales rep and installer were very personable, knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain their products and how they would perform. The installer patiently explained what he did in the installation process. Within minutes after installation we had filtered water, and within a few days we had much softer water. We've already noticed the difference in bathing and in the performance of our appliances. And Culligan made good on their offer to try to price match competitors.

10/10 – World-class service, start to finish. I own a water jet machine, and from the very first call, Michael Nesheim immediately understood exactly what I was talking about. He clearly knows the technical side of the business, which made the entire process smooth and efficient from day one. What truly sets him apart is the follow-up. More than a year after the sale, Michael still answers every call and text promptly. That level of consistency, availability, and accountability speaks volumes about his professionalism and character. Real service doesn’t stop once the deal is done—and he proves that every time.
Culligan as a company has been consistently responsive, reliable, and easy to work with. The technician Fernando was equally impressive. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes pride in his work, and approaches everything with attention to detail. He carefully inspected each component, took his time, and explained the entire process step by step, making sure everything was done right and fully understood. This team represents what true professionalism looks like—before, during, and long after the sale. Reliable, knowledgeable, and committed to excellence.

I purchased 2- 12 cup models and bought because the advertised filtration of unwanted items. I have no way of determining if it actually is better than what I have been using, but I don't like the fact that the container above the filter is so small, one has to fill it 3 times, waiting for it to drain each time, in order to have a full pitcher. Considering that a normal Kuerig or other coffee maker will empty it. The real problem is the site will not allow me to finish the review because I only rate it 3 out of 5.
