Our salesman Rob has been with us all the way. A few glitches with our install but Rob kept in contact with us until house was up and running perfectly. His knowledge and expertise is why we bought our whole house system and RO. Our water feels great and the taste is ***** 5 Star.

Culligan installed a water system in my home around 2020, and ever since then the customer service at the West Palm Beach location has been terrible. The reps are consistently rude and dismissive, and it feels like they genuinely do not care about their customers. I've been told more than once to "just uninstall the unit" instead of anyone trying to help resolve the issue. On top of that, the pricing has been all over the place. I've been given one quote and then later told a much higher amount for the same service. It's very misleading and has made it hard to trust anything they say.
Stay away from this. Best option is to purchase a water softening system from and install it Yourself.

I am very happy with Culligan of Troy. Excellent customer service. They are always on time and deliver right to your door. They always call the day before your delivery to remind you. Their water club is extremely affordable. You can't beat their prices. Highly recommend.

Terrible customer service in Cincinnati, OH. Have had residential water delivery service for years. I have 4 bottles at a time at most. This week I left 2 empty bottles and they delivered 7!!! I do not want to carry all those into my house and have to store that many bottles. I called immediately after the delivery and was sent to voicemail. I also emailed about the issue. I finally had to call back and explain the problem. They did not apologize and said they didn't know what happened. I asked them to come pick up the extras and they said they couldn't because they are considered a food item. When I explained that they were still sealed and in the same place they left them, they said they would see what they could do and let me know.
2 days went by. I called back and was on hold for 15 minutes and then sent to voicemail. I called back again and was told that they could come pick them up in 2 weeks (making it 3 weeks total). Again, no apology, no explanation, no assurance that it would not happen again, no reason why they did not follow back up with me to let me know the resolution. Very seriously considering cancelling the service. I understand that mistakes happen...just take accountability and make it right. Horrible customer service.

Super happy with the Culligan process. From sales to installation, the entire process was smooth, easy, and fast. Now that they have a financing option, my family was finally able to get the new soft water system, which we couldn't do before.

Always better to have someone in person to show the options because apparently they skip on information they should tell you when renting a unit. Unit makes loud sounds. Doesn’t even fill a pitcher for tea etc. Ask for the part of agreement that should 2 year contract. They failed to send the back part of the front of the contract. Never realizing there is a two year contract. They want you to pay all of the monies in order to cancel. Ugh!!!! I never would have thought they would put a two year.

I can’t say enough good things about Andy ** and the service he provided. From the very beginning he was clear, helpful, and took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. The installation went smoothly, and even after the system was in, Andy checked in to make sure everything was working the way it should. The difference in my home’s water has been night and day. The system is reliable, efficient, and set up in such a clean, professional way that it’s easy to maintain. It’s obvious that Andy takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. If you’re looking for quality, honesty, and someone who stands behind their work, I highly recommend Andy **.

We have been a Culligan customer for 8 years. The first two years the water was amazing, very soft very silky. I didn't have to use conditioner in the shower, and no more softener in my clothes. Something happened after the first two years because we started itching again after our showers and started to need to use conditioner, softeners and lotions again. We called them out and they tested the tanks. They tried to upsell us on an add on tank that I didn’t want to pay the extra money on, why should I if the tanks were working for the first two years. Our delivery guy was very friendly and told us they have tanks that they rinse twice and he would make a note of it and start bringing those tanks. (They switch out our tanks every month) that worked for about three months and then it stopped working as well. I don’t know if he quit bringing the double rinse tanks or if that is something that even exists.
Long story short for $70 a month and for 8 long years as a customer we finally decided to cut ties with Culligan. We did ask them if we could switch to the salt tanks to see if that worked but unfortunately in our city they are not allowed. We have recently contacted a competitor and they did offer the salt tanks and for a cheaper price. We have an appointment next week and we bought all the piping from Culligan so we already have that, it will be a simple switch.

Terrible customer service. Once they install the softener and get their money, they completely forget about you. If you run into any issues, good luck—because they won’t be there to help. It took them an entire month to deliver salt that was promised within 5–7 business days. Nobody seems willing to help in any capacity. Very disappointing experience.

In July 2025, I entered into a contract with Culligan of West Palm Beach for the purchase and installation of a water softener, central water filter, and reverse osmosis system for a total of $10,932. I chose Culligan despite a higher price specifically because of the assurance of a professional and aesthetically proper installation. On August 4, 2025, only the outdoor units were installed. Nevertheless, Culligan immediately charged my credit card for the full contract price. The installation was in direct violation of the agreed terms and of the representations made by their sales representative:
- Piping was installed visibly and in a crooked, unprofessional manner, with cheap valves and above-ground drain line.
- My gutter downspout was damaged by a drilled hole.
- The artificial turf was ripped out and left detached, piled on top of other turf, blocking access.
- Dirt, contaminated sand, and construction debris were left throughout my courtyard and pool deck.
I immediately notified their sales representative with photographs. He acknowledged the installation was unacceptable and promised to inform management. The next day the service manager assured me that another technician would redo the work and that a refund for the undelivered RO system would be processed. None of this occurred. After more than ten days with my courtyard in disarray, I was forced to hire a licensed professionals to remediate the damage and complete the installation properly.
Culligan Palm Beach management completely ignores my phone calls and my demand letter for reimbursement of my expenses to rectify the situation. I am now forced to involve the Better Business Bureau and file suit against the company. What a nightmare. The worst technician and non existing customer service. Take your business somewhere else.

We had our whole house water softener installed by this company on 10/23, and it came with a 1-year free platinum care program, which included coming out and adding salt to the system quarterly and also making sure the system is running like it's supposed to. After the year, we didn't renew the platinum care program, and when the worker came out in July 2024 to add salt to our system, he purposely placed our system in bypass. We are from up north and never had to use a water softener, so we didn't realize that the system wasn't working properly for almost 10 months.
When we finally got around to having another company come out and check the system over (8/29), they immediately saw that the system had been placed in bypass. Now, understand, this isn't the case where someone could have accidentally hit a switch and put the system in bypass. No, you have to turn this blue knob like 15 times to shut off the water flow into the water softener. The guy from the other company said that "this was a purposeful act".
I called Culligan later that day and explained to the manager our situation. He claimed to be surprised that the worker who last came out and messed with our system would have done anything like that. He took my information and said he would be looking into this and would give me a call back. 11 days later, nothing. My purpose for calling them was to make them aware that this had happened, so it doesn't happen to anyone else. But this seems to be the way these workers are trained because he had no reason whatsoever to mess with the valve that controlled the water coming into the water softener. SO PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU USE CULLIGAN OF TAMPA, OFFICE OUT OF PLANT CITY.

I trusted this company and paid over $2,200 for a 5-stage RO upgrade that was supposed to give me cleaner, safer water. Instead, the water made me feel unwell and lab tests showed more and more particles over time. The company has ignored my complaints. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

I chose Culligan Water from a long list of whole-house water filtration providers mainly because they had the most references. I scheduled an initial visit to see what they had to offer. The sales representative, Zachary **, was very attentive the whole time and explained everything in detail. We selected a system that seemed to be quite good—“smart technology”—although the price was more than double what we had seen from Culligan’s own promotions (almost $8,000) and far higher than other companies. Still, we decided to proceed with financing since by that point we were convinced it was the best option.
The problems began when we applied for financing. The application was first submitted under my mother’s name (she and I are both homeowners, and her credit score is around or above 700). Shortly after, the salesperson told me we needed a co-applicant. Then he said that the loan department required all names on the mortgage to also be on the application, which struck me as odd, but I still submitted a third application this time including myself.
Soon after, I received a “good news” message: we had been approved. But instead of the initial offer of $101/month with no down payment, the new terms were $214/month plus $1,000 down payment. It is unbelievable that a company selling products at such a high price—far above the market average—also has financing policies this strict and unclear. It felt more like financing a $30,000 car than buying a water filter, which is ridiculous.

I had a water softener installed that flooded my entire system with minerals – plugged all of my toilets and both of my showers. One month later, I am still stuck with half a working shower (1/2 water pressure). The worker came back over and fixed two of the toilets. I never heard anything from management about the situation – I had to call every day for several days and finally had to yell at a secretary (which I felt terrible for) to even get a call back. They offered $700 back on a $2600 bill. Ok, that’s a start.
The worker came back and made an attempt to fix my shower, it was unsuccessful. He said he would be back on Monday. Fast forward to 8 days later, he never came back. I called the manager who said “We’ve done all we can”. Mind you, I still only have half of a working shower. None of this would have happened had I not called this company. I tried fixing the shower myself and was unsuccessful – the pressure balancing unit is STUCK in the shower, and I cut my hand bad enough to need stitches.
I called the manager back and had to yell and swear at him (extremely out of character for me) and demand that he pay for a plumber. He finally agreed (as long as it’s not “too much money”.) I just want my shower working again. This has been by far the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in my life. They were completely uninterested in rectifying the situation had I not kept calling. Now, a month and a half later, after the plumber fixed the showers, I am still waiting for my $700 refund that they agreed to. I received a couple follow-up texts saying it was in process. After this entire ordeal, I am still paying them around $1200, plus the $250 I needed for an emergency plumber that I forgot to mention that I had to call on the day that everything stopped working because my water heater's pressure release valve was gushing water, which they did not take the blame for.

We decided to get the Culligan system about two years ago. Our sales guy was Frank. He is very good at selling because we definitely got fooled. He said we can monitor through WiFi, not true. WiFi never works even when spending extra on WiFi. He said all we need is a blank filter for fridge so we did not have to spend money on filters. NOT TRUE. We still have to spend extra on filters.
We paid close to $8,000. We had to call in for issues with an equipment that’s just two years old several times. Black stuff comes out of faucets when LYING FRANK said you will never have that problem again. Equipment failed and since WiFi does not work we didn’t realize there was a leak and received a bill of over $1,000.00. So is the water worth the aggravations. No. We did not have to pay because we did not have recent incident with leaks. Had we had a recent leak we would have had to pay that bill. If I had to do it all over again wouldn’t have purchased. I do have to say that the techs are empathetic and polite. So is Chris from Orlando office they were helpful. We are retired and Frank should be ashamed

The product works but the customer service is horrible. Left with leaking equipment. Left message with answering answering service and never got a return phone. When they came to deliver next the kids delivering argued with my wife and told her it wasn't his fault. The tanks hear are double the cost of what I was paying in Florida where I had great customer service. No leaks no excuses. I recently purchased a full Culligan water filtration system and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Cory, the sales representative, was knowledgeable, low-pressure, and let the water test results speak for themselves. He made the process simple and got me scheduled for installation quickly. Chris handled the installation and did an outstanding, thoughtful job. He took the time to explain everything clearly, so I knew exactly how the system works. Overall, this was money well spent—I’m very pleased with both the product and the service.

Sprung as second leak and had to gave then come out Saturday morning and they charged me an extra $180 for an emergency call. I guess they can’t do math real well cause I’ll never use them again and they will end up losing hundreds of dollars from what would have been a lifelong customer if they had just done the right thing. Review of Culligan Water. I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Culligan Water. Their customer service is among the worst I’ve encountered. I requested to have auto-pay set up multiple times, and despite repeated assurances, it never happened. When I called to address the issue again, the staff refused to take any accountability for the lack of follow-through.
The customer service team is lazy, argumentative, and consistently fails to deliver on basic requests. There’s no ownership of mistakes, so resolving even simple issues becomes unnecessarily frustrating. The product's filter is adequate—not great—but certainly not worth dealing with this level of service. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Culligan Water and will not be using them again.

This is the 'worst' company I've ever had the misfortune to be ripped-off by. I paid $7800 for a unit that works so well that they still charge me $168 'per month' for 10 bottles of water that they will only deliver every '3' months. My water is brown and stinks, I have a basement full of bags of salt I DO NOT NEED and the Customer Service Department has ignored my complaints for over a year. Do yourself a favor. Find a company who cares about its customers instead of taking your money and giving you 'nothing' but a run-around in return.
