Culligan's associates, delivery personnel and administrative office workers always provide great customer service. They are very friendly and go out of their way to explain and provide any help that I might need in a very expeditious manner. I have had their service for over 30 years now and have always been very happy with their products.

Culligan is not the Company it was. I had a appointment 4-2-25, for someone to look at my Water Softener. The tech was a no call no show. Called 4-3-25 to find out why no call no show, the lady I needed to talk to was supposed to call me back and she didn't call me back. Call and leave messages to call me back and they will not return my calls. Sorried Company I have ever tried to deal with. Avoid Culligan. They have sorry customer service and don't do what they say they will do.

Culligan of Tucson provides excellent service, installation, and great-tasting water for our clients. Working with Mitch and Matt was great; they tailored their service to our needs and offered great solutions for our lobby. Thank you, Culligan of Tucson!

The water is always great and the monthly delivery schedule is perfect. Our delivery individual (Rob **) is absolutely amazing, he is very personable, friendly and very respectful of the property when delivering the water. He will even call me when I forget (almost always) to leave my empty bottles outside. My experience over the past 5 years has been 100% positive. Thank you the entire Valpo team and especially Rob.

I moved into my home that had a Culligan system. I called to have them service it and guy told me I should have a filter. Before I thought this was supposed to be filter for water. Got rid of it. Put In a Kinetico. Much better water.

I appreciate Culligan's consistent and reliable service. Their deliveries are always on schedule, which makes it easy to plan and depend on them. The drivers consistently do an excellent job, ensuring that the exact amount of water I request is delivered and placed in a convenient spot. The water containers are always clean, and the taste and quality of the water are exceptional. This level of professionalism and attention to detail truly sets Culligan apart and makes their service a valuable part of my routine.

They suck. Always making excuses as to why I didn't get water delivered. And then you have to wait days to get water. DONT USE!!! Also, if you have a payment due on account, make sure it is there a week early or they won't deliver because they say, "It didn't show up", or "It's still processing." Staff not that friendly either.

We got Culligan water softener installed about a year and a half ago. Dry skin and hair falling still persists. There are 4 women in the house and all of us experience the same problem. Their after sales service is horrible. Absolutely disappointed. No one showed up to put salt in the softener for one year after they delivered 8 bags of salt outside our house. After calling and complaining they sent a person once. Called them in February to deliver and put salt and no one has shown up yet. They make excuses like their truck broke down and they service our area only on Mondays etc. I would not recommend Culligan water softener mainly because of their after sales service which does not exist.

Culligan buyer beware. We received: Billing/invoices that were inconsistent and higher than our written quote from Triangle Water Durham, NC, fees/charges on our credit card after Triangle Water was expressly told in writing to remove the card for this reason, miscellaneous charges that as yet, after numerous written requests have yet to be itemized or explained, delivered water that was in Primo brand containers, water that was in extremely old, beaten up containers that leaked and some that had different (even unpleasant) tastes. A whole lot of hassle, headaches, evasiveness, attempted bullying (consistent with other reviews) from the owner, Jason.
Culligan buyer beware. We DID NOT receive: Anything back in writing other than charges that far exceeded our written quote for cooler rental of $3/month. Billing adjustments, anything to cite the quality control measures Triangle Water and/or Culligan can demonstrate for water your whole family is to consume as a staple of life. Billing that was consistent with written and binding quotes, explanations for charges, any written response to repeated information requests. Neither a decent experience with this business nor peace of mind on what we were to be consuming. Further, Triangle Water/Culligan IS NOT affiliated with the Better Business Bureau - where there are numerous outstanding complaints filed by other customers. Why would a business not affiliate with the BBB?
Before even considering any form of a relationship with Culligan, ask yourself this..."Have I asked for and examined all terms of the corporate residential agreement where this company attempts to absolve themselves of everything from damage to home, electronics, and property (even self) all with no warranties on the product or service...yet they insist on having a credit card with automatic payments scheduled with clauses for late fees, early termination fees and a "kangaroo court" arbitration process at their disposal?"
Does that sound worth it or reassuring? There are many, many, public reviews and unresolved disputes/claims citing damage to property, quality control concerns, and certainly, unresolved billing matters. Where is Culligan and Triangle Water when something goes wrong? For many people it does. How do you know you will not be one of them? From our experience, they are going bill you other than quoted, refuse to take your card off file, become evasive and not write you back to repeated requests, do nothing to demonstrate the water they provide has quality control measures for safety or drinkability, provide misinformation, attempt to threaten and bully you.

I got a Culligan water softener two years ago. After three months, it started not working well. My hair was getting dry and breaking off. I called them out to inspect the water. They said the water is fine. It must be my hair. So my hair kept breaking, I stayed at my boyfriend‘s house and used his shower for six months. Finally I googled what could be wrong. It said to clean the filter. So I called them and asked them to come clean the filter. They came and cleaned it. Everything was solved. Sad that I had to figure that out. Again three months later or four months later the water sting started getting bad again. My hair started breaking. I asked them to come out and clean the filter. So they did.
Once again, four months later, it started breaking my hair again. When I called them to come out and clean it, they started charging me $50 each time. I asked them if they could replace the water filter maybe there was a problem. They kept saying it was my hair, even though when I was with my daughter for a week at a time once a month and stayed with my boyfriend my hair was fine. But they still said it was my hair. I asked to cancel my two year agreement after half of my hair breaking. And now having to get Extensions. They refused to cancel it.

6 days ago I was a good customer for over 11 years!!! Change bank accounts and called them. Whoever answered the phone told me that I had paid for the equipment in full and that I didn’t need to update my account. 90 days later, I was getting nasty phone calls from some lady who basically told me they no longer want to do business with me. They had added on all these fees. It’s way more money than it was.
I was having a hard time so I needed to come up with the funds last week offered to pay in full. The account manager told me they did not want my money and they would not do business with me any longer as I am “**”. This was their fault to begin with. 11 years I paid for the equipment, now my lawyer is telling me the equipment is worth more money than The monthly payments that I was paying.
A water softener used to be about $400 now they want $1200 for the water softener. I have never been treated poorly for over 11 years. The Manager would not come to the phone to speak with me. Asked to speak to the owner and never had a callback. Dealing with a Consumer proposal lawyer at the moment and I have now listed them and they are denying it because they are saying they want the money for the equipment the $1200 that I paid for over 11 years.
I am going to be taking this to court. Just the principal alone!! When they put the equipment in my house as a rental water softener, it was yellow and discolored. It was very old and I called at the time and they told me that was the only thing they had in stock so at this point it’s now over 20 years old. I was very patient to have this old equipment in my house and I did pay for it for over 11 years so for them to demand $1200 at the end is just criminal. Also my lawyer told me that you cannot put a lien on someone’s house in Ontario for any type of equipment!!
I will be making sure everyone I know is aware of how this company treats people the amount of sleepless nights that I’ve been given over a stupid water softener is ridiculous and the lack of customer service also frankly they scam people all equipment paid for over 11 years and now you want 1200 more dollars and you’ve told me you don’t want me as a customer. It is absolutely deplorable. I wouldn’t recommend doing business with these people.

Purchased a home that had a brand new Culligan water filtration system. Seller told us he spent close to $9000 out the door. It’s been nothing but problems, and after the first year (under warranty) every time a tech comes out it’s $180. Be prepared to become a water filtration expert and be able to perform regular maintenance or pay Culligan to come out every 3-4 months to do maintenance. We have a Chemfeed attached to ours as well (Culligan installed) and there is only certain techs that can work on it. When we have an issue, which is about every 3 months, we have to wait a week or more to get a tech here. Our water stinks the whole time, it’s hard because the softener isn’t working either. At one point we were without clean water for almost 3 months because they kept sending techs out who “solved” the problem but they didn’t and the problems persisted.
Finally, the most experienced tech they had came out, figured out another tech and put one of the pieces back together incorrectly and it was now broken. He couldn’t replace the $20 part, we had to buy a whole new kit at $480. The system was stuck regenerating so it burned out our water pump, so we spent $1800 more replacing the water pump and the pressure tank. A $20 part costed us $2300. I could go on and on. Moral of the story, their product is terrible, breaks down frequently (I’m starting to think it’s intentional so they can keep milking us for money every 3 months) and you’ll only have clean water about 60-70% of the time. Bar none it’s the worst experience I’ve had with any company in 40 years. Do yourself a favor and buy anything except for a Culligan water treatment system.

Advantage of my 80-year-old parents, convincing them to purchase a $15,000 chlorination system that they didn’t need. My parents are on a well system, and after having their water independently tested by three separate labs, it was confirmed that the water was not harmful—it was just hard. Culligan preyed on their trust and lack of technical knowledge to push an outrageously overpriced system. This kind of predatory behavior toward vulnerable seniors is disgusting and shameful. Do not trust this company! Get multiple opinions before even considering their services. This level of exploitation should not go unchecked.

We have been a customer for over 20 years. Had the original system installed in 2003. We are in Connecticut. We have not had any issues with service, maybe one no show over those 20 years. We do rent the equipment from them which may make a difference. Lately though and this is where the 2 stars come from the billing system has got terrible. No monthly charges for 3 months, then a giant bill. The last time the bill came in at $750. A manual payment went through, then an automatic payment happened. So I have now had a credit with them for almost 2 months of $750. The kicker is a new bill came in on time, and instead of pulling from the credit, it charged me the full amount. It's been very difficult to get them to credit the money back to me. Called today, and the customer support person reacted as if I had not talked to anyone previously about getting my credit back.

Our service tech, JW, arrived on time and called before to let me know he was on his way. JW greeted us both professionally and friendly. He went right to work after I asked a few questions that he answered quickly and thoroughly. He also thanked us for clearing out the cabinet so he could easily access our unit. After he finished he gave us a full report on our system and how it is performing. This was an A+, excellent annual service call. Highly recommended them for both installation and service.

I had an under-sink water purifier for four years with Culligan. I wanted to love them, but unfortunately, had several negative experiences. First of all, they didn't come and service my system each year as they promised; second, they are extremely hard to communicate with. No one knows the answers to harder questions, and it takes multiple calls and attempts to get the answers you need. When I went to cancel my service, they charged me a $200 removal fee, which took the technician 3 minutes to remove. $200? That's insanely high! And they did not inform me of this charge, I was just billed after the fact, and it is not in your contract. I would NOT do business here! Plenty of other water service providers that are transparent and easy to work with!

I am extremely disappointed with Culligan's service. I pre-paid for four 18L bottles of water through a monthly program on my credit card, with the delivery scheduled for a specific day. I even took the day off to be home, yet the delivery never arrived. I was told the driver would leave the bottles at my door if I wasn't home, but that didn't happen either. To make matters worse, my sales rep has not responded to my messages at all, even though I’ve been reaching out for over a week, asking for an explanation. As a result, my family and guests have had to drink tap water, which is frankly unbearable. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially over the Christmas holidays.

Unfair treatment of staff, do not work here. They will be praising you one day for reaching sales, joke with you all day and act friendly and then turn on you the next. Fly-by training but they promise you Culligan University training…after 3 weeks it never happened so I had to learn everything scattered and by ear which is not how I learn best. Don’t assume they like you even if they hug you, bring fudge, invite you to parties and tell you way to go. It is not sincere.

It snowed that morning and the service rep sat outside without calling considering aborting the install because the driveway had snow on it. Once inside he was unequipped with the proper tubing for the install and cut out excessive good copper tubing to install flimsy, weak PVC that had to be anchored. The prior Water Softener that was installed had solid copper tubing going to the unit.

A year and a half ago we purchased the whole 2 tank softener/filter for $8000. Our well water was high in iron and the salesman said this was the only system that could fix it. He also promised salt delivery but that never happened. There were several problems with the 'smart' system that had to be fixed or replaced. We still have iron filled water that turn our white clothing rust. The entire shower has to be cleaned with magic erasers every single night. Iron has stained our toilets and sinks.
The servicemen don't seem to be in communication with each other and we keep getting told different things depending on who shows up. Last time they were here they said our iron was still extremely high and want to install a $5600 add on to deal with the pH. They should have gotten it right the first $8000. I can't trust them to do anything else. My water is milky looking, which it wasn't before the install, and the iron is still unacceptable. Since I'm stuck with this expensive system I'm going to get ahold of a different Culligan branch.

I’ve been waiting over two weeks for someone to email or text me because I’m deaf but need service for my Culligan water softener. Bob finally emailed me a week after this review saying my email went to his spam folder and then told me the same exact email address to contact in the future. Uh. I did email to that address. 😳
He let me know there would already be technicians in my area on Thursday. And that there would be a $140 “trip fee” that I would have to pay. If the technician is already in my area, isn’t he already being paid for gas, and insurance etc? So I can’t get the information I need as far as what the settings should be on my unit and I can’t get anyone to come check it out because I can’t afford $140 “trip fee”.
I really thought Culligan was a reputable company. However it looks like I’m on my own in figuring out what the settings should be and if my unit is even working. This is subpar customer service. Very disappointing that they don’t care about their customers well being. But capitalism right? That service technician MUST be paid multiple times for one trip from multiple customers in my area for his gas and insurance. Disappointing. Guess I’ll call my plumber.
