Next time state first why you are not helping. That way I don't spend 65 dollars when no work is done...maybe it's time to look for American Home Shield. I'm not the only one that's unhappy..other neighbors have had issues.
The estimate was partially incorrect. We started an appeal but with no ac in the room it's making life very uncomfortable while we wait for an update. Please hurry and contact us regarding this problem that has gone on for more than 2 weeks.

First you all did an excellent job in communicating via text and email. You let me no how long it could take. When you found the name of the company coming out you let me know. The company came on Friday and it took them about 10 minutes to detect issue and fix it. The guy checked everything out and that we were good. Excellent job all and thank you!
My first claim with this company was horrible! The way they operate their business in general is horrible! First they charge you "per claim" even if those issues are under the same category like I had a issue with leaks in 2 different bathrooms and you pay two separate service fees. Never experienced that with a Home Warranty company. It's one set fee so if all 3 bathrooms had a leak it's a one copay of 80 NOT 80 times 3.
I made a request for dishwasher repair service on Wednesday, and a Sears repairman was dispatched the very next day. He was incredibly kind and professional, quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and had it shipped to the house. He’s coming back to finish the job today. I’m so pleased with the speed of service delivery. The value of my warranty plan is incredible, and I’m so glad that I chose for the 6 year option. I’m super-impressed. It still looks too good to be true.
Cool guys technician was awesome.. The approval process, from Choice has been well over a week (11 days and counting). Pretty slow from Choice but, now I know what to expect. Not overly impressed with Choice, at this point. Pretty disappointed. I could have gotten this kind of service from AHS.
They took too much time to come to fix an HVAC problem, in the meantime we didn’t have air conditioning in Texas summer! They change the visit date twice, and the person who called me for the fee payment was very rude! Not good at all.
Your company promise to do work but when it comes time to do that, the company will come up with boughs excuses to not fulfill the work and I’m not happy with your company for that. Telling me it’s not covered because something is not day to day use but when you use a device every day and all day it’s daily use.

My recent request for service on my washer has gone very well. The appliance repair person looked at my washer, and immediately knew what was wrong. It took a week to get the part, but her will be here to make the repair. I look forward to be able to use my washer again as laundry is piling up. Technician was thorough with his inspection of our dryer. He took the time to explain his diagnosis and how the problem will be corrected. He will return at a later date once all necessary parts have arrived to complete the repair.
The tech from Monroe Heating and Air Conditioning who came to resolve a problem I have had for awhile with the AC tripping a circuit breaker was prompt and very knowledgeable. My air conditioner have been working properly since his visit. I would highly recommend his service.

Phones are answered promptly and approval of technician visit to assess the problem. Email confirmation each step of the way. Prior claims have been paid, not extremely fast but eventually payments are made. Many times have to find my own repair service but that has always worked out and payments have always been made for cost of those repairs.
I was referred by a friend. I made contact with Choice Home Warranty and was immediately got assistance and started a Home Warranty Contract. The POC was Bruce and he was courteous and professional and explained everything to me about the contract and available pricing options. I choose 5 Year contract with additional 1 Year for same price. The price is very reasonable. Thank you for having me as your new customer.
Still waiting on a call back or email for status for dishwasher. Repair person came, diagnosed the issue a week ago. As of this writing still in limbo. The repairman quickly diagnosed the issue with the oven and repaired it. The gentleman was polite, courteous, and he explained each issue on the oven and dishwasher.

Choice Home Warranty provides fraudulent activities to their customers. 10/25/20 Choice Home Warranty began withdraws $86.97 per month from my checking account and continued this withdraw through September 2022. 9/1/22 My refrigerator failed, and I filed a Choice Home Warranty claim. 9/2-9/14 Almost daily calls. 9/14/22 A technician was sent out to evaluate the failed refrigerator. Technician determined that the refrigerator must be replaced. 9/14-9/28 Almost daily calls. 9/28/22 Found out that Choice Home Warranty customer service and management staff had no plans to repair/replace my failed refrigerator.
9/28/22 Canceled my account. 9/30/22 I replaced my own refrigerator after one (1) month of being without refrigeration. 10/3/22 Choice Home Warranty management stated that no compensation would be credited to me. 11/12/22 $102.57 unauthorized withdrawal from my account (account canceled on 9/27/22). 12/12/22 $102.57 unauthorized withdrawal from my account (account canceled on 9/27/22). Choice Home Warranty STOLE (24) months @ $86.97 per month = $2,087.28 + $205.14 (from 11/12/22 & 12/12/22 unauthorized withdrawals) = $2,292.42 from me and 28 days of grief trying to have my refrigerator replaced or repaired by Choice Home Warranty. $2,292.42 Balance Owed to John.

A cooktop touch control board failed and a replacement part was ordered. This part is going to be installed on June 5, 2023. I wasn't assured that if this part does not fix our cooktop that Choice Home Warranty will continue to diagnose the repair until a fix is implemented. If I can get that assurance then my experience will be a 5 star rating!

While I was very pleased with the Tech that was sent to home I am very displeased, angry and beyond upset with Choice Home Warranty itself. HISTORY: 05/11/2021. I called and reported that my dishwasher was tripping the breaker, smelled like it was burning, and melting my plastic dishes. TODAY: 05/19/2023. I once again called and reported that my dishwasher was tripping the breaker and that the garbage disposal tripped if you accidentally used them together.
Truthfully the TECH that was sent to my home was very professional, smart, dressed nicely and had excellent rapport for customer service. The Tech told me he was going to recommend replacing the dishwasher as the parts to fix would cost more than the dishwasher was worth. Said I should hear within 24-48 hours what decision was made about the replacement. I actually received an approved amount for the dishwasher in the amount of $246.00. I'm not sure what cave Choice Home Warranty has been hiding/living in but you CANNOT PURCHASE A NEW DISHWASHER FROM LOWE'S FOR $246.00. Needless to say, I called and talked to a "senior" representative and was told that the amount I was awarded was standard for the dishwasher. Again, needless to say, I was getting very upset and TRIED to explain the scenario as I saw it.
Being naive/without wisdom, lacking knowledge (not doing my homework) in the transition of/from being a renter to becoming a responsible homeowner; I thought 'Great! if something breaks I'll only have to pay $65.00 to get it repaired.' Let's just say THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN!!! The cost of Choice Home Warranty for 2 years was $580.00 and honestly was paid for in the closure of my home loan. Still believing that Choice Home Warranty would help protect me if an appliance broke I pre-paid for the subscription until 07/30/2025. That premium was $1350.00.
OK so now I have invested $1930.00 in Choice Home Warranty not to mention paying 7 (seven) service calls all for the DISHWASHER. So now I've PAID CHOICE HOME WARRANTY $2385.00. And I AM ONLY ALLOWED $246.00 for a dishwasher that had problems for 2 YEARS!!! I'm beyond upset, feel like I was taken advantage of and very gullible being a new homeowner. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! HOME WARRANTIES ARE A SCAM.
Washer could not be repaired. Will have to wait 30 days for a Lowe's card to buy replacement. Need a washer now. Will have to get a washer now and hope I can spend the Lowe's card on something else. Not good service. I would not recommend this company.
I set up to get service in my a/c online and was set up for an appointment insane week. Was able to get ac fixed yesterday. The people were accommodating and quick. Happy to find that there was no other issues or out-of-pocket expenses.
VIP Appliance was great in helping me solve my problem, they were very quick to schedule and get out to my house. They did a great job in investigating my issue. They were very competent and friendly, and quick to help.
Choice turned down even a share of responsibility and expense for refitting my a/c unit. Claiming rust is what caused the failure. The service tech Choice sent told me every evaporator coil over a year old shows rust, but that is surface rust (like the superficial rust on your car frame), and did NOT contribute to the evaporator leak. Observing rust is a convenient ‘cop-out’ so Choice can deny any a/c claims. I’ve been with Choice for about 8 years. Why don’t we prorate my current 5 yr contract and just part ways? I will certainly not be a good referral going forward.
Star Mechanical technician was courteous and professional. He phoned to say he was on his way, he arrived early and spent time assessing and fixing the problem. I did have to ask that he make sure both AC and heat were working. I would recommend Star Mechanical. Only complaint would be the delay in getting an appointment.
The 1st plumber that came out took our money and disappeared. After multiple phone calls to Choice, you finally agreed to send another plumber. He came yesterday and could not fix this issue because you would not get back to him in a timely fashion with an approval. Now, he will have to come again. This is a total waste of our time and the plumber's time and gasoline. This issue has been going on since Easter. I would like to get it resolved now.
Smith heating and air was fantastic! They came out and did some preventative maintenance and fixed the issue that I had when my air stopped working. Very courteous and professional and I would recommend. They weren’t just out to sell me a new unit. They wanted to fix the issue.
The repairman came out right away and I appreciated it. My dishwasher needs to be replaced and it can take up to 30 days to get my gift card to put towards a new one. The amount I received covers installation of a dishwasher only. I now have to purchase it on my own. Not what I wanted a warranty for. I will cancel Choice after I receive my payment. If my refrigerator had to be replaced there is no way I could live without food for 30 days. Ridiculous.
They offered me for cash for washer which I was happy for it. Account manager was very nice and explained me nicely why I didn't get enough money for my new washer. So that's all I have to say. Thank you very much for help....
We submitted our request on Sunday, and a technician was out three days later. We appreciate the prompter-than-usual response! The technician was kind and courteous and very easy to communicate with. They did not make a mess while they were here. It went great. For Choice Home Warranty: It always takes time between the initial visit and the visit where the repairs are actually made if additional parts are needed. That is not on the technician's side we don't feel. Communication was very good, but I would like to place another vote for an app where we could communicate with Choice Home Warranty and the chosen technician.

Do not use them. They bait & switch. They don't give you even enough space on this to tell you all the issues. We cancelled & was told we would get one amount then we get an email with a different amount.

The tech was good, on point and told me my dishwasher couldn't be fixed so the part would cost as much as new one. He wrote it up as get new dishwasher. Ok they only want to give me 246.00 for one. I don't think that's fair. Dishwashers cost more than that. I have to pay remaining but I pay every month for the warranty. I don't like that. Will be checking around for someone else.

The technician that came was great but CHW denied my claim and will pay nothing. I listened to your sales person and didn't read the fine print when I purchased my policy. I feel I wasted my money for this coverage that was supposed to cover everything and actually covers very little.

Hello, I just have to say that the customer service people try their best to help. I was having a hard time hearing him with all the background noise. He was not able to get rid of the noise. Otherwise the call was fine.
Worried as roof problem & raining every day & night as emergency needed. Not that we can make this a bigger problem with getting rain into the house at my bedroom. This is serious & can't wait for days. No one has called me in 2 days.
The person on the phone answered my questions. Gave me quotes and was very helpful and had my best interest at heart. Tried to assist with different plan pricing but on a budget so monthly had to work. Took my payment and now I have peace of mind.

To be fair, this is my first experience with Choice. You should have someone dedicated to keep your clients up to date with their repairs. I had to call you several times to get a repair update. I even had to do the investigation myself.
Unit is working, as a licensed AC contractor in my opinion the bearings in the fan motor are failing. I look forward to a future repair to replace the motor. Due to the fact that it is running it is not possible per choice guidelines to replace the motor at this time.
The repairman recommended getting a replacement for my refrigerator. I had a stainless steel refrigerator. Choice offered less than $1000 for replacement and to send the money on a Lowes gift card to be mailed in 30 days. A gift card limited my options to purchase another one and I had to fully pay out of pocket to replace the refrigerator up front. Who can wait for 30 days for a gift card or check to come when a refrigerator is broken? The amount offered was not enough to cover the cost of another one. Very disappointed! The only reason why this rating gets a 2 is because they said they would send a check instead of a gift card after I called and asked them to.
Pro Maxx one - Eric ** was excellent. Arrived on time. Very communicative. Took care of the problem successfully. Choice Home Warranty was very responsive and repair appointment was set up within minutes of placing the claim. Both CHW and Pro-Maxx one are highly recommended and we are looking forward to more pleasant experience in the future.
My air conditioning unit was leaking onto my ceiling and it took 9 days to get a technician out and I didn't hear from your company but one time. I called there about four times and was told the same thing.
Josh was very informative thorough and explaining exactly what the problem was completed the job and showed me the part that was broken. Very good technician. The timeliness of the whole transaction went very fast and I am pleasantly glad I had the warranty with your company.
Fan was making a grinding a loud sound. Called in a claim and within 3 days electrician came and repaired unit in less than half hour. Now vent fan is whisper quiet. Highly recommended CHW. Service was quick and fast and so easily to get.
We have been a Choice Home Warranty customer for years and this is not the first time we have had an issue with their service. It will be the last. During the winter our heater quit working and it took over a week to get someone out to look at it and the service technician showed up in his personal car with a clipboard and no tools to even attempt a repair. Made some notes, charged us the fee and left and Choice closed the claim. I repaired it myself. Today after calling them to report a claim that I had called out a plumber for, they denied it because I did not let them try to fix it first. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I ended up not requiring your service, but I was impressed with your customer service. Everyone was very helpful and followed through very well. Seth did an excellent job explaining the coverage and the benefits of dealing with Choice Home Warranty. I selected the extended multi-year option. I like dealing with one company for all my appliances and other home items rather than separate companies for each individual item.
Placed a call. I told them what was wrong with it. No hesitation with providing me with a claim number and a time frame to wait for a contractor to contact me. The person who answered the phone was very quick and friendly. Told me not to worry and it will be handled.
The tech who came to repair my clogged sink did an excellent job and was very efficient. Choice Warranty, however, took 48 hours to assign a company to my job. I entered the claim on a Saturday and the sink wasn't fixed until Wednesday.
05/19/2023. I have the Choice Home Warranty. My Garbage disposal was locked. Then I call to CHW. They send the technician & change the new one. I’m satisfied from the CHW & their technician. Thanks CHW TEAM.

The technician that came to fix the pipe was experienced and professional. When I described what happened, he knew exactly what was going on. It was not covered by the warranty but the price out of pocket was reasonable and they applied the deductible. He was quick, efficient and thorough.
Oh, I would’ve given it a five but it took three trips to get it resolved. The first identified one issue. The second installed the parts for that issue, but did not resolve the problem. The following day he should continued service man returned, and did solve the problem. Choice did all of their own follow ups as Warranty on their part, and stay with me to resolve the issue, which I am pleased with.
The time between claim filed and response is too long (has been 2 days). The techs sent don't seem to be prepared for the task. Always need to order something that they don't have on hand which sometimes takes up to a week or more to get and then they have to reschedule their return. Communication also seems to be a problem because some don't speak English.
This technician came out so fast and helped find the problem and offered to fix immediately. Highly recommend to anyone his services. He was worried because we have two kids here and didn’t have water so he is very personable and helpful.
I don't really know about honesty anymore. He said it would be too expensive to fix so I am supposed to get a gift to Lowe's for $343.00. I still have not received the gift card. If I do receive one, I think this is a fair offer. I'm still not sure if I would recommend this warranty or not because of the previous interactions.

I have three contracts with them. I am very satisfied and content with them at this point in time. With all that is going on with Covid the service is very good and the service rep doubled checked his work and allowed me to check it as well and told me some preventive measures and what to look for as far as leaks issues. I was very impressed, happy and grateful. He set the standard on how a service rep should conduct business.
The technician had to repair the light under the microwave. The company Hooked on Appliance Repair, was wonderful. The gentleman was very professional and courteous. This is the 2nd time I had to use Choice Warranty and I will definitely renew my contract when the time comes.

I have been totally dissatisfied with Choice Home Warranty. They are slow in responding to service call and slow to provide status. Request for service take forever to get any kind of response or service. The approval process for getting services is long and Not customer friendly. It is highly unlikely that I will renew my contract when my service contract expires. Totally dissatisfied customer.
I called in my claim 7 days ago, the technician came out, diagnosed it, took my money and now I can't get him to come back. Still not fixed and have no clue if it will get fixed. I shouldn't have to pay for another service fee.
I was impressed with the prices quoted me from CHW. Once I had decided to make the change the salesman kept throwing different pay ment options at me. The prices were even more enticing but I said I could not pay that much at once but he persisted. I agreed to join with them but have not yet used their service.

Valley View Electric LLC was assigned to this claim. I placed the claim on Thursday, May 11th and they had me on the list for Monday, May 15th afternoon to fix the problem. I spoke with Star at Valley View Electric LLC and she told me that Brandon would be our service tech who would be out on Monday afternoon between 1-5 PM. Brandon rectified the issue and kept me in the loop during the entire visit. I was very happy with the service I received.
I’ve only had to use the service you provided twice, but today I realized that depending on the vendor that it can be a challenge. Unfortunately the summer is a bad time to get a air conditioner repaired. I’m looking forward to having someone contact me in the near future. Thank you.

The young man was very professional, came in and went to work... Fix the unit and checked for anymore problems. Then came into the house and turned make sure the unit was set on the correct temperature. Awesome serviceman. Everything is working and the house is back to a normal cool place.
Technician excellent. When I called in to start a claim there was no determination nor importance for the problem. It was my sump pump that went out and could have flooded my basement. My claim was processed with no urgency.
Choice contracted with Sears Home Services. I was sent e-mails telling me when my appointment was. When I called at that time to see why they did not show-up, they said they have been texting me at another number than what Choice has! When I saw the wrong phone number under Sears Home Services, and tried to update it, it keeps saying, try again later! So, if the next time a job is contacted to Sears Home Services, again, they will continue to text me at the wrong number. I cannot get this fixed, which reflects horribly on Choice Home Warranty.

It took some time to get a plumber assigned for a recent claim, and though I received emails explaining the delay I did not get more than 24 hours notice of the appointment. When the tech did not make it on the scheduled day, I got no notice of the appointment the following day and was not home. Now the work has been started but I have no idea when the plumber will return to finish. Another valve leaked when he shut off the system, and he advised me to submit a new claim. Today all I have is an apology email for not assigning a plumber (though the same plumber should be doing both jobs).
I am totally dissatisfied with the handling of my claim. Nothing was handled according to what was presented when I purchased this contract. The time it took to assign a service contractor. The time it took to get a service person to my residence, after the first contractor that was assigned turned down the job. After that I was told that I could arrange for my own contractor. After a contractor was finally assigned, you decided to ignore his recommendation to replace the unit and instead opted to repair a 20 year old appliance.
The repairman was courteous and asked what had happened to the microwave. He went to work and found what needed to be done to get the microwave fix. He told me what was wrong so I would know what had happened. I would recommend him to anyone who would need a repairman.
I have had mixed experiences where some claims are covered some are not. You need to understand the small print in the contract (which I do). My MAIN reason for paying for the insurance is simply to get a skilled technician to SHOW UP so I could get my issue taken care of (whether it is covered or I need to pay for it out of pocket). If you are buying the insurance thinking you will have total coverage you will not be happy. Just as info, all the competitive homeowner insurance operates the same.
My technician was very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. He seem to have great problem-solving skills. He was a great conversationalist while he worked diligently to complete the job. He was very respectful and cleaned up his mess when he was finished.
Very friendly staff and personnel, very understanding and ready to listen. It's only wise to have such a service as a homeowner. Appliances are guaranteed to breakdown or malfunction. Having insurance to cover them is a very smart choice.
Not satisfied with your services this year and will be canceling when contract expires. The recent technician was great. It’s choice response time and not supporting to fix the issues. Previous technicians used in the past not helpful. Hopefully your other customers have better support and service.
The Technician kept to the time range and attended to the matter in a most professional and competent manner. It was a simple fix of a broken wire, but, even then his knowledge of the symptoms and required fix was good.
Had a reschedule twice due to the technician's car problem, so my refrigerator has remained mal-functioning during this time. He eventually came and identified a problem on the electronic board. Hopefully the problem will be resolved by end of this week and my freezer will be retuned to normal.
I had a plumbing issue and high view plumbing was assigned to the work. The technician was pleasant and arrived and promptly addressed the issue. I was very pleased that Choice covered the work required as this was my first claim since switching to Choice.
Tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Had the part we needed and we did not have to wait for one to be ordered. Would certainly ask for this company if we ever need service again. The appointment time was convenient and he was on time.
Every reported incident has been declined or a company to provide service could not be found, looking for another service. Disappointing when all information in advertising and phone calls focused on being a complete service. Need to be more upfront and state when a geographic area will not be covered effectively.
Tony was professional, friendly and quickly found the problem and fixed it! His company was quick to respond to the request - less than 24 Choice and his arrival! Definitely a company to use for service and knowledge. The willingness to travel to help customers is exemplary.
My Garbage disposal stop working and then started leaking.. I went on the Choice Warranty app the process was easy... I'm so glad I switched home warranty companies... This is the best home warranty I have ever experienced. I put a claim in that night had a response in my email with the plumber and was fixed the next day. After doing a lot of research I called and spoke to someone to ask them about what was actually covered by the warranty. It turns out that I was on one of their websites that is designed mostly to "sell" - not give you all of the info you need to know to make a decision. If you Google "Choice Home Warranty," the very first entry takes you to choicehomewarranty.com, where there is actor Richard Karn and a heavy sales pitch - but not detailed info about what you might be signing up for. To the RIGHT of that first entry is a large company block with a tel # and THE EXACT SAME URL/link printed, choicehomewarranty.com...but this link takes you to a different site that is very indepth and just what I needed.
The rep was patient with me for a while, but basically kept explaining to me that I was wrong, rather than listening to the confusion that their two different sites created. He said everyone knows to go to the company side on the right. I disagree. We read left to right, top to bottom, and the first entry in Google will be what people use 90% of the time. (BTW, he hung up on me when his patience ran out...) When I called the next day and got someone else, I had a totally different experience and signed up. Whew! Hopefully someone will read this and make it more customer-friendly someday so others get the whole story with just one click. (A simple fix? Just add a button to the "sales" site that says "Need more info? Click here." Also, it keeps asking you for your name, zip, email and tel - and then I got several calls that day from CHW reps....always annoying, especially after you've already signed up.)
Unbelievable service, render on time answers and the quality of expectations of the customer, me, timeline to expect help to finish fixing the real situation you are having with a appliance you need to work on command to operate properly.
It was a easy process the only thing I would like to have happened was the ability to speak to a rep to explain that this is a problem that has happened before. I have had one of your service reps fix this before.
All I did was report a claim. Haven't had any service yet. I'd rather speak to a person instead of pushing buttons. Tried reporting via your website first. Very confusing and couldn't figure how to stop getting quote info and get to the claim reporting page.
No pressure to sign up, which I really appreciated. The process went smoothly and I was kept apprised every step of the way. Funding came through without a hitch. I had a strong and available point of contact and several others who checked in on me along the way. Communication flow was impeccable. To me, that is one of the most important aspects in providing any business service. This was my first call since switching to Choice. I was disappointed that my call received no quick response, and it was a full week before the technicians came to service the unit. However, when they did arrive they were very courteous and thorough, and the problem was resolved satisfactorily.

Always trying to up sell (Poorly Done). The manager is probably a ex Car Salesman. Always running back to manager for a better deal. Piss Poor Salesmanship for a Good Product! He really needs more experience and training. I wanted exactly what I purchased, he gave me a little discount which is a good thing, You are not selling a $100,000.00 car so the big money close is not necessary. (End of story.)
Easy to file claim. Like the new reimbursement option that allows me to call my choice of technicians. A delay before an approval for repair is downside. Overall, this is an easy company to deal with. We have used them several times and enjoy their responsiveness. Recommend.
Joel with Universal Repairs, LLC came out to fix my ice maker. It had a leak and was only making a large block of ice vs cubes. He accessed the situation and replaced it all in the same day! I was most impressed as I’ve been a customer of Choice for several years and never had the issue resolved the same day! Joel was extremely nice and I will request him anytime I have appliance issues in the future. Thankful to have a working ice machine!
This is the first time since I been with Choice Warranty that they actually came through. I put two tickets in for my garage door and refrigerator. Both technicians came the same day and totally fixed the problem, even though one refrigerator technician has to come back, but it is well worth it. I was in total shock and grateful. It always took over a month for someone to even answer the ticket. Not this time, good job on this one Choice warranty.
Y'all have been the best!!!! Last year was ac unit and did a great job and took only a couple days. Today your service man was so sweet. Very nice. He was here early and only took him about 15 mins. Great work.

I want to thank the two gentlemen Technicians from At Your Service Heating and Cooling & Home Repairs for all their help along with replacing my 8 year old Sump Pump. They said the switch had frozen along with the pump quit working. Also with some tips, for a maintenance on the pump. Excellent Service by the two Gentleman and knowledge that replace my Sump Pump.

I was asked for specific time and dates of when my equipment was working properly. If you want to know if my equipment was working properly without issue the year before is fine but asking for a specific time frame was not necessary. I don't keep records of when and if my equipment was working properly. All I know is it was working last year without a problem. My suggestion is if you want to know if something working last year properly then that is all you need to know. You don't need a specific date and time, to me that was irrelevant to what is going on at the present time.
Choice was prompt in assigning a professional to review our hvac issue. He diagnosed that a new thermostat was needed. Choice decided that they would not pay for it because it “looked” like its failure was due to pest infestation. The unit has worked with that thermostat for 20 years. Pests were NOT the problem. No discussion just refusal to pay. BEWARE. THEY FREQUENTLY FIND WAYS NOT TO PAY. This is not the first time they have refused payment.
He determined why dishwasher would not work. He was professional and friendly. He was on time. He worked quickly to determine why dishwasher was broken. He clearly explained the possible options on the warranty. We were both confident of his analysis.

This has been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for the service call and replacement offer for our broken dishwasher. We had to go through 3 contractors before we got someone out to look at the dishwasher, then you offered us a RIDICULOUS offer to replace the dishwasher, then we had to argue with you which took over 2 months to complete. We are still waiting for our $65.00 refund of the service call. Weeks later. We are totally disappointed with your responses and your service, along with not being able to communicate via your website. You need to fix these problems.
Agent, Tim ** was helpful in working out funding and length of contract issues we were able to work out a couple issues and come up with a number of options and were able to settle on one. I appreciated his ability to work with me and come up with a solution.

Honest & Fast. Offered other packages. Took a 3 year.... Longer package did not interest me even with the transfer service.. Trouble with last home warranty... Bad workers and tried to nickel and dime you.... The quality of workman's knowledge took 3 visits to fix the last problem.... DO NOT have time for such **!!

The tech showed up within the given time frame and provided a call about 30 mins prior to arrival. He was quick at diagnosing the issue and was able to fix within an hour. The dryer is back to working like new.
All of my experiences have been terrific except for one (which I don't want to identify because I think the technician's shortcomings were from overwork and overbooking, not incompetence or negligence.) I am so glad to have Choice in my corner. With the cost of repairs these days, even simple repairs can generate bills in the hundreds of dollars. My relatively minor co-pay relieves my worries about calling for help. I would recommend Choice to anyone.

I must admit, getting signed up with Choice was an exasperating experience. I found Ryan to be very helpful and made the experience more enjoyable. He walked me through the available plans and discounts and even got me to take the VIP option where I paid upfront 6 years which under my old plan would have been double. Choice is off to a good start.
Everyone that works at this company should be ashamed... Technician sent in his diagnosis then CHW changed it and denied the claim. Absolute joke. The review policy is done by the same in house people that deny the claims, it's set up so they never have to pay.
I am writing a review on here because it looks like the only way to get a response from this company. I complain air condition. Technician come and they diagnosed. They told me they sending to the company is take 24 hours. I wait 2 day but no response then I call customer service. They told me it's not cover. I will assign officer will follow up is something. No response. Please do not buy this company insurance because this company rip off. This my second and third time I pay my own pocket. I have a insurance 5 years but nothing cover. Worst experience customer if want to cancel your services but to not get your money.

New customer...First-time call in for claim a repair. Called in for A/C drain problem. Noticed leak a spots on kitchen ceiling. Was informed when I turn in claim, that technician would be assigned with 24 hours. When I called 26 hours later informed had not found a company to make service call. In meantime I have been cleaning up water. So during a conversation, I was informed I received email about option no one willing to work with warranty requirements. Used reliable A/C company and work completed except of course damage to ceiling.
Calling customer service is horrible if you 're asking about the contractor coming for service. She gave me a number to call...the same number I had just called HER on. And she sounded like she was outside, horrible background noise. It was a waste of time. As much as you're hounded to renew your contract, the customer service needs to improve. I won't be renewing.

My dishwasher was leaking badly and the detergent dispenser didn't work. The technician immediately repaired the leak and will be coming back with a new dispenser as soon as the part arrives. He was knowledgeable, fast, on time and very pleasant.
I would have given a 10, but the person I spoke with was hard to understand at times. Other than that, the conversation was pleasant and the service thorough. The necessary information needed on the claim was given to me. Now I wait for the service person to contact us.
Air conditioner broke. Stopped working. Contacted Choice Warranty online, and within 20 minutes had an assigned company for the next day. The assigned company contacted us, showed up on time, and was able to fix our air conditioner without trouble. Our unit is 19 years old and in good condition, but second time this year we've been glad we had Choice Warranty for the air conditioner.
The claim submission process is simple and the response rate is very quick. I submitted my claim around 9 PM on a Sunday night and went to bed. When I woke up I had an appointment set for 2 days later which I feel is reasonable.
Sonny's gave a fair assessment of what was wrong with the wash machine. The repairman showed up at the time Choice Warranty said he would. All in all it was a good experience. I would recommend Sonny’s repair service. Choice Warranty offered me a fair value to what the wash machine is worth.
Thanks for handling this problem so fast. Why would you repay with a store gift certificate? I need a check to deposit for the funds that were removed. The service man was very professional and explained in detail all the problems with the microwave. What about installation cost?
The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked quickly. He had our AC running in less than 15 minutes. The only downside is that it took 3 days for them to come out. The hot nights with no AC were miserable.
I thought it was my hot water heater and called it in. Curtis from C. B. Solutions found my problem -- it was a broken pipe on my air conditioner, and he fixed it for me for a very reasonable price. I was so relieved and grateful.

The automated call response was overly demanding to know when it was first noted. I would have liked to speak to a person for all the months I have paid the premium for two requests in 2 years. I called on a Friday and have to wait until next Tuesday for a plumber to come. I am having to bail out the sink every day.

CHW took my call on a Sunday evening and Automatic Garage Door Systems called and made an appointment with me for today Monday. Every aspect of this repair was very professional. AC has been out for over a week. Had to call several times to get what was needed from the technician to them for approval. Every person I talked to gave me a different answer. Even after it was approved was not told the process only the cost and needed my approval to proceed.

I led to believe that my plan covered garage opener which is the furthest from the truth, wanted to charge me $1700 to repair, Went with an outside company who charged me $500, with a lifetime warranty, so far you guys are a total ripoff , still had to pay $85 for a service call even though I didn’t receive any service…
