Choice Home Warranty is the worst and should get no stars. They almost always fail to repair major items that were advertised as covered which was the problem I had with them. I was told my well pump would be covered if I paid for the additional pump coverage which I had but of course they denied the claim saying the pump failed because my holding tank failed but the repairman never checked the holding tank and called Choice and told them he had said nothing about the holding tank and no claim was submited for the holding tank anyway. Just the well pump which was covered. That didn't matter. Still denied. So after five days with no water had to call a company to replace my pump. They have thousands of complaints filed against them.

The repair man was professional and courteous at all times. He explained what needed to be done and what was necessary to rectify the problem which would require replacing parts.

The technician can and inspected the fridge and ordered the ice maker part came back in a few days and took out the part that was not working and installed the part and my fridge is back to normal, making ice.

I'm fairly new with Choice Home Warranty. But they have been nothing but professional. Highly recommend CHW to anyone who is in the market for a top notch Home warranty company.

I called them 4 month ago for an air conditioning issue that was resolved and I had to call them yesterday for the same thing but turned out to be a fluke. I’m just very thankful for having Choice Home Warranty.

I like the fact that I am covered. I am a little dissatisfied with how long it takes sometimes for a vendor to pick up the work order.

Process for submitting a request was easy and fast. The initial service date was longer than I expected. However, the service provider came two days earlier which was appreciated. The technician had all required parts and completed the repair successfully.

I was having problems with the electrical system in my garage. My. GFI kept tripping, I thought the cause was garage door opener. An electrician checked all my outlets, they were good. He found out that my GFI was faulty. The electrician replaced the GFI and I haven’t had any problems since.

They couldn’t fix the kitchen faucet when they came. They had to get authorization from you. Then they had to order it. You would only pay for builder grade faucet even though our faucet was higher grade and lifetime warranty. You also wouldn’t pay for the line that had to be replaced so therefore I had to pay for an upgrade to the faucet and the lines. So with the added cost and the $100 you charge I had to pay $325!!! If I just had my local plumber come out I would have had it done the first day. I would get a discount and it would have been less. This wasn’t the first time I have been frustrated with Choice. I have nothing against ClearFlow that changed the faucet- Just Choice.

Hello! I had to call this morning and put in a claim for my refrigerator. I talked to a Jamie a very fine gentleman who knew what to do and was very helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. He was very helpful in putting my claim together and now I am just waiting for Choice to get someone to help with the repair. Thank you so very much!!

So far my experience with Choice Home Warranty has been really good thus far. I really like the ease of submitting claims, and the really quick response to the claims, and the quick response for a technician to come and fix the issue. I have no complaints as of right now!

Very pleasesd with the service on our dryer repair. Appointment was scheduled promptly. Technician was on time, efficient, professional and took care of the problem.

The customer service rep was very nice, but seemed to really want the deposit and could not give me any kind of response time for a technician.

Thanks Brayan, for assisting me through the sign-up process. Although I was bombarded with calls after getting an online quote, I kept Brayan's info so that when I was ready, I could go through him. I have not used the warranty yet but I look forward to a better experience than with the last two companies I have used.

Eddie G was our technician, and he was on time, efficient and was technically right on. Our AC had gone out, and he efficiently fixed it and provided great advice.

Choice service was very quick and the A/C company they sent out (Fire & Ice) was great. Repair was completed in several days.

With the excessive heat, the technician was able to come & fix my A/C 2 days earlier than the appt. that was set. That was a blessing.

Working with Choice was pretty good but the repair is delayed for four days. In this specific case the claim was submitted on Monday, the repair man came on Thursday but could not fix the dryer because it needed a control board. So they ordered the control board and it arrived Saturday. The repair facility said they could come Tuesday but could not so they delayed until Thursday morning. The repairman fixed the problem in 30 minutes. Choice should monitor the repair facility and try to get the job done sooner. Maybe switch to another repair facility if the first one is too slow.

Outstanding service was 100% claim approval. It alleviate any worries that I have on getting my home repairs done by a qualified technician.

Once your claim is put in a technician picks it up quickly and the wait is less than 48 hours.

This is my 1st time becoming a customer with CHW. So far I need more time to see how pleased l am with CHW. Mr. ** and Mr. ** were most professional in explaining CHW. They knew the answers to my questions, most knowledge.

He arrived on time. Diagnosed problem as being unfixable. He was pleasant.

The crew from Juggernaut were very professional and thorough. They found that the concerns I had with the HVAC were not actually happening.

2nd HVAC did a great job job. The first Company was horrible. Choice quickly got a great company to repair AC. I would recommend in general Choice Warranty.

The Repair Company that is charged with repairing my Refrigerator is not responding as good as they should. I have tried several times to get a repairman scheduled and they are resisting in my opinion. We get an agreed upon date and then they say they call me but I don't answer? Then another time we have a confirmed date and no call and no-one showed up. Just the other day I called and mid sentence they hung up on me. So, bottom line I would like you to find a different repair company to finish fixing my Refrigerator. It is not regulating the temperature correctly. My Freezer says it is at -3 but in reality it is around 38. I was working prior to the other work they came for but now it is not. Did they disconnect sometime, I don't know but it was and not its not. Please call me to let me know what your thinking!

Choice Home Warranty did an excellent job in getting my AC repaired and I highly recommend them for future jobs plus their customer service was very helpful.

They were very timely in getting me a company to take care of my problem and told me to expect. I put in a claim, and they emailed right away with who was coming to look at my problem.

After 5 months I decided to use my account for a bathtub leak. So far so good but it took 3 days to hear back with a time and date and it will be 4 days before we receive a visit from our technician. Not very fast service.

Quick and efficient response but unable to make corrections on my address at this time.

Air conditioning condensation line clogged. Top Air Cooling and A/C out next day and had problem fixed quickly. I special request them for my Phoenix Arizona AC issues.

My downstairs HVAC unit wasn’t working or cooling. Technician arrived on time and within 30 minutes. The system is working. It appears there was a bad capacitor.

My first experience with Choice Home Warranty, due to my garbage disposal not working, was wonderful. They referred me to Kevin ** with Good to Go Drain Service. He is professional, knowledgeable, and had my disposal running after a thorough exam and service. Highly recommend both!!!

You suck like everybody else. Your company promises replacement and the replacement money you give won’t even replace it. It’s false advertisement like everybody else in America. Your company should be not allowed to rip off people the way you do. You want your money upfront at the first of the year and y’all can’t even cover replacement cost when it’s necessary. It’s a joke. You should be shut down and we had your best plan which they said.

Process was very efficient and stress free. Was kept informed about the service from arrival to completion and George from Cascade Plumbing was very professional.

Technician came out and let me know when he was on his way. Unfortunately my washer is so old that he advised me to replace it. He did try and clean it out and was helpful in advising us on and where to replace it.

While I was very pleased with the technician that was sent out, I feel Choice Home Warranty was unprofessional in handling my claim. Even though your website says it could take between 24 to 48 hours to schedule a claim, I never received a phone call or email. I had to call your company and go on your website to find out that I had an appointment scheduled. And then I was told I could contact the technician directly to confirm my appointment. I would still recommend CHW since everything else flowed smoothly once the process began.

The people drove 2 hrs to get to me and they were very professional and aim to please. They quickly had my HVAC up and going without a hiccup since they left. I did not fear these people and they seem very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them and hope the distances they had to travel will not discourage their desire to help.

CHW has done a great job for several years. From washing machine issues and plumbing to electrical, I’ve been very satisfied with their job performance and completion of various jobs. Their service has been professional, thorough, and knowledgeable, as well.

Tech that showed up was Omar from O's Heating and Air and was very professional. Very glad to work with him and would have him back at my house again for thing else.

I thought that had an exhaust fan issue in the attic. CHW hire an electrician which was perfect. Choice set up the appointment and it is a reputable company. The last star was because I did sit around one day as the original appointment was set up with a large window. I contacted them earlier and they were very professional. I waited the whole day taking the day off from working and they did not show or call. While it's not CHW fault it was upsetting.

Representative was very responsive and respectful service and pleasant.

I file my online claim on Monday night and it got fix on Thursday afternoon, which is very quick fix and I am happy with tech.

Choice Home Warranty takes too long to assign a contractor and get them to the house. The delay causes other problem like raw sewage in basement for a week. I was pleased with the repair co but the claim was denied. I would not recommend Choice to anyone.

Michael was helpful and was on time for our appointment. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the part immediately. I had to wait 2 weeks for the next appointment. It is frustrating to wait that long to get your refrigerator repaired.

We didn't know what was wrong with our washing machine. Andrew came from Appliance Repair Specialists. He determined that the trap was clogged. He unclogged it and told us to let the lines dry out overnight and it should run fine. We followed his instructions and it is now working.

Technician and the employees have all been very courteous and knowledgeable. I was disappointed to find out you did not pay for the installation of the dishwasher in my kitchen. I feel that if I’m buying a dishwasher, it should be installed under the same pricing.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling, so we called CHW. We spoke to them at great length, and provided all of the necessary information that they requested. The next day they sent a technician out, who was unable to repair the refrigerator but still charged us a service call fee. We were told by the technician that CHW would provide us a brand new refrigerator. Then, I get an email telling me that we are not covered! Why did I pay over $3K up front for this service, if they can't even assist in providing the most remedial expenses? They could have at least ordered the parts to get this unit operational.

I have always been taken care of by the service team and positive results from Choice Home Warranty!

My last claim is taking too much time to assign a vendor, and I need to fix my appliance soon.

Choice Home Warranty (CHW) is the best company I have dealt with so far in last 10 years. I am using CHW for 2 of my properties from last 2 years. Their service is exceptional. The service rates are great! I will fully recommend to have a service contract with this company. No match.

I have submitted a claim for Refrigerator Leaking. They have diligently found a suitable technician to fix the problem for us. All the coordination, follow up actions and payments are very organized and well documented. They have completed their part of responsibilities in a professional manner as stipulated in the contract.

Earlier this year, I decided it was time for a change due to my 20+ years with another home warranty company where it just seemed like every year the monthly rate was higher as well as questionable contractors. The interactions I've had with Choice Warranty has been Great. The followup on the claims assigned to contractors have been very good. I'm very happy with my change.

Communication was a little unstable with provider, once all was settled and done. The service was done and complete; I am completely satisfied!

So far not please with the process, my claims all in my kitchen can only be dealt with each separately, for $100 each time, you take my $100 payment at the filing of the claim, then you void it and let your vendor collect it again. The tech comes sends you a msg it needs to be replaced, you approve replacement hours later to me and the Tech. I have called the tech and texted them to return, with no response from them. I hope I don’t have to stop my $100 payment..

I was given a rundown of the things the warranty covers as well as several options to save on the cost over the years, which I appreciated but could not take advantage of at this time.

I just signed up for this and received a notice that it was voided? I don’t see a phone number to call but what’s going on? No explanation as to why it’s being voided. I just signed up for it yesterday!

I had a very good experience.. It did take longer than expected to find a contractor.. The contractor did a fantastic job.. You folks need to make this process easier for the contractor.. I got the impression that most contractors don't want to deal with the warranty company.. If you make the process easier.. I think everyone would be happy going forward.

The technician came and diagnosed the issue with my washer and explained to me that he needed to ordered parts for the washer. They replaced the parts for my washer 5 days later and my washer is working as if brand new.

This is a great company...they worked around my schedule and showed up on time...they had to get a part to repair machine...did it promptly and was back to replace the part in a timely manner and once again fit the time slot to my needs...very professional and kept me informed every step of the job.

Unfortunately, it was not a favorable experience air conditioner. Unit went down in the heat of the summer had to wait almost a month for a technician to be assigned. The only excuse was given was their backed up and we can’t get anyone so I took it upon myself to call the air-conditioning company. They answered on three rings. They set appointment up for the same day. No back up. I then call Choice Home Warranty. Told them that one of their technicians was able to come out that day.

The technician was wonderful when beyond what I thought he would do.

The actual technician who came to check out my appliance was great. I ordered the part need to fix and set up appointment. I had an appointment the next week and was home all day. I got a notice that the technician would arrive between 7:30-9:00. So I waited to walk my dogs. He never came but I went to the status page and said it still gave a time range of 7:00-4:00 pm. Then I got. Notice later that the guy wasn’t going to come at all. Then they told me that the next available time was 4 weeks away so I have been without my dishwasher since then and will be without until my next appt at 9/22/26.

I had scheduled the appointment for Friday, Aug 28, in the afternoon from 2 to 5 PM, due to a Dr. appointment in the morning. However, the contractor changed the appointment to morning without talking to me. The technician showed up in the morning but no one was home, so he left. I contacted the contractor and requested to send someone again today or the next day i.e. Saturday. But I was told that it is impossible. I then had to reschedule the appointment for a later day.

CHW has been great. This is probably the 6th time I have used CHW! They are quick in responding to my problems and handle it with professionalism!

We paid up front for the full year. During that time, I filed 3 claims. The first time was for our dryer. Contractor came out, I paid him the copay and he never returned. Then I paid a contractor out of my pocket to get the dryer repaired after 3 weeks. Second was for septic. 3rd was for septic, which has been pending for 4 weeks. My contract expires on 9-14-2026. It appears they are just biding the time till it runs out. Horrible experience, would not recommend.

You don't listen. Your reps don't listen and you don't read. You consistently send out work orders to people who don't show up. Last transaction I asked for someone else. Instead you sent the request to the business I was reporting! And did *not * repost my work order and I had to submit it again. This is typical of your company. You are supposed to be the best. I would hate to see how bad the bad ones are

The young man who arrived to complete the request was very casually dressed in a t-shirt and jean shorts, with no identifying features regarding a company. He was on the phone with his boss as he tried to detect a blockage. Nothing was found, and I had already plunged the toilet. He tried snaking the outflow device outside and still found nothing. I guess I will wait and see. Despite his appearance, he was pleasant and appeared to be trying his best to find a problem.

I was overwhelmed by the Quality of service that Choice Home Warranty showed me with my claim with my AC unit. They were professional, kind and knowledgeable about my issue and quickly took care of my claim. I am so happy that I made the choice to switch to Choice,,,, You guys are the best.

They look for every possible reason not to cover your claim I have changed properties over four years ago. I had an issue with the leaking water heater and another unit. I have hence changed my coverage for my new residence and because it is a water heater again, they are refusing to cover it. Let’s see what happens with my appeal.

I had a Choice Home Warranty on a previous dwelling so when I bought this next property, I of course purchased another (3 year) plan to cover the new home. I recently traveled to a different state and when I returned home, I discovered my refrigerator had stopped working. One call to CHW and they sent out a repairman to fix the problem. Fast, reliable service with only a $75 service fee instead of the $375 quote from Westinghouse. I am so pleased with my CHOICE home WARRANTY plan that I made both my children buy coverage for their homes. I told my neighbors about the service and they ordered a plan too. Excellent policy worth every penny.

The gentleman I spoke to from the start was very polite, professional, dignified, and courteous. He understood when I explained I did not feel comfortable putting my card information online, thus why I was calling. Confirmed the price, the thirty day waiting period, and a more cost saving option if I was able to pay the annual amount upfront, asked that I watch for email as well.

This was my first experience with Choice Home Warranty and I could not be more impressed. Within minutes I received a response and easy to follow instructions. The technician arrived the next day and was informative, well trained and explained what would happen next. My HVAC is having an issue that I am sure will be resolved.

I believe these guys are a SCAM. They took 2+ months to replace a system that could not be repaired. The issue is still going….we made 30+ calls so far with no results!!! DO NOT recommend this company.

Your warranty is rated number one. I have good service with you, but some of your contract policies need to be updated for such a time as this. Rules and policies needs more compassion more customers. You recommend business to fix your problem. When it is not warranted it should not fall on the customers.

I strongly encourage you to go somewhere else. I have bought and sold several homes and this last time I went with choice home warranty. I always get the highest package so I know no matter what happens. I should be covered based off my policy I’ve chosen. They have repeated complaints for siding, small contract lines that gives them the ability to not pay for repairs when needed. They prey on elderly and disabled veterans. PLEASE do yourself a favor and choose a different home warranty.

The dishwasher service was handled meticulously well by sending actual company tech.

The man who came out to fix the washer was very professional. He figured out the issue quickly and corrected it. He arrived on time. It’s sometimes hard to get repairmen to our area but it was only a day after placing the claim that we had a repairman.

Terrible customer service!! We have been contacting their company since June 2026, and it is now September 2026 to fix an AC unit in Texas. They sent companies out and then closed the claim even though nothing was done to fix the unit. Do not use them!
