    Claims should be approved faster to make sure the job is done in a reasonable amount of time, especially depending on the claim. As well as to make sure the claim is truly completed. Vendors should be vetted out properly before being assigned an account.

    I did receive a prompt call back once submitting a claim. It was for a washing machine that broke. Turns out it was not repairable. I was offered a Lowe's e-card for the amount of the offer, which I thought was great...except the fact I have to wait up to 30 days. I accepted prior to knowing time frame.     There are some improvements needed related to communication between service companies and CHW. We received emails with dates for service that were never planned from CHW and the service companies (2) that made appointments never came until I called to complain. The first companies came and I never heard from CHW or the services company. Until I called 4 days later nothing had been accomplished.

    The last technician sent from CHW was effective and took care of the problem. However this was after waiting over a week from CHW or the First company sent. Better follow up is needed all around. It took too long and if I did not follow up with everyone I think I would still be waiting for clarification of when my problem will be solved. 9 days is too long for a problem to be solved. I will give CHW one more chance and if I ever need service again we will see how it goes. If the same thing happens I will drop them and try a different service provider. Let’s see..

    We had a pretty bad water leak under our sink and come to find out that the drain basket and faucet gasket were leaking. CHW was called and within two business days a plumber was out and working on the sink and faucet. The plumber was very courteous and professional. The experience was a very good one and left me feeling calm and that the job had been done right. Plumber finished within 90 minutes and all leaks were taken care of. This was a huge difference from the previous home warranty company I had contracted with. CHW left me feeling that my money was well spent. I am happy with their service, efficiency, and choice of vendor to send out.

    A home warranty is something that is good to have. I did my research and Choice was the most economical, so I went with them. When I need service, I get what I need and it has not been a problem. In the past, I would call them but now I don't talk to a live person. I talk to AI, tell them what I need, and they set up the service. The process was easy enough. Then I get an email with the contractor's name and the date range when I'll be contacted. The last tech who came out was very good. The claim was for my garage door opener where the door was falling off the track. The tech fixed the track in the ceiling and it's working fine now. He answered all my questions and I would call him back for something else that I potentially will need. All in all, Choice is a good company and I haven't had any complaints the two or three times I've used them since I've had the warranty.

    We bought our place six years ago, and one of our requirements was that they'd have some kind of a warranty for 18 months. And the previous owners had brought a contract with Choice, and we just continued with that contract. Their customer service was okay. I renewed with them three times already.

    The techs have been very professional as well. First of all, they know exactly what they're doing, why they're there, except my dishwasher, which was just a problem piece of machinery. It had nothing to do with the technicians. They've always resolved my problem. But some of them could use a little bit better English, but then I'm very tolerant because I am foreign-born myself. But outside of a slight language barrier on occasion, they're absolutely wonderful.

    Anytime I've ever called anyone, they've been professional, took care of the problem in a timely manner, well-behaved, never impaired my lifestyle in any way or shape or form, but there was one incident where my water heater went out, and I went two and a half weeks waiting for paperwork. Then somebody from their office said, "But you need an inspector to come in,” after I waited two and a half weeks. They had all kinds of excuses as to why they couldn't do it.

    At the end, I had to pocket the money myself, besides giving them the money and the two and a half weeks, and within 24 hours, I got a water heater from Home Depot. That was a very negative experience. But based on my overall experience of over six years with Choice, I’m very happy with them.
