Thank you for explaining everything — that sounds incredibly frustrating, especially given that I am disappointed with the quality of work and overall experience. The shelves are not evenly spaced, and the silicone seal looks very poorly done — it honestly appears rushed and unprofessional. This is not the level of craftsmanship I expected, especially after being told the installers had gone through specialized training in Texas.

We have had the Liberation walk in tub for 11 days. The installers were knowledgeable but installing from 10 am to 8 pm was disruptive in our home. We were told to wait till day two to try the tub because water will left filled in the tub and it had to set. On day two we tried the tub. Our 50 gallon new water tank was not adequate to fill the tub, a jet wasn’t working and the door was leaking.

I wanted to get a tub and my husband picked American Standard out. Our experience with their team was very good. The salesperson was very easy to get along with and ask questions. He was very informative and we loved him from the get-go. The installers were very polite and very up on things and they left everything spick and span.

I liked that with American Standard, you could use a Hoyer lift to put someone in and out of the tub. It's really the only one that does that. Their sales representative was very thorough, took a lot of time, and explained in great detail as far as what was going on. He made us do a very informed decision. The installation team was fabulous. They had to widen the door for us to have access, but when they had gotten the tub and were putting the tub in, they looked at the height of the Hoyer lift we had and they put a little extra support. The height of our Hoyer lift was higher than the standard entrance, and so the installers installed extra blocks under there to get the height up right so the Hoyer lift that we had would work with it. The whole experience was good, and though it was more expensive than other tubs that I looked at, it was definitely worth it.

The installer of my American Standard walk-in tub was wonderful. He's just one guy. He came and did all the work. I love the walk-in tub. I didn't like paying as much as I did. But I think I got my money's worth.

Our experience with American Van Lines was very good. The installers did a very good job. They even vacuumed the floor. We would recommend American Standard.

My American Standard walk-in tub takes getting used to. It's a little different, but I enjoyed the safety which was the main priority. Prior to purchasing the product, the sales representative that gave me the consultation was great.

I had a walk-in shower from American Standard Walk-in Baths installed, and I love it. I felt very comfortable dealing with the company. They were great. Their rep made me feel very comfortable. Any questions I had, he didn't act like they were stupid questions. The installation went fine. They cleaned up after themselves when they did the installation, and they showed me at the end what to expect and what everything was.

I liked American Standard's product when they presented it. The consultation with their rep was very friendly, and he had all the information I needed. Installation was easy. They were in and out in two days. The quality of the product is fine, and I really like the jets.

We recently moved my dad in here and got a walk-in tub and shower installed by American Standard. He's 96 and it's for his safety. He loves it. However, my electric bill has been $100 more. I just got the new bill, and it's another $100. We had Duke Energy come out here, and the electrician was up in the attic. We thought something else was wrong until the electrician showed us. They took pictures up there. The installer from American Standard had to run wires from there over to the bathroom but never replaced the insulation. He just left it. We were losing all our cooling in the house right out into the attic.

My brother has one and we did some research and went with American Standard as well. The people who installed the tub were knowledgeable, polite, clean, and they did a great job. I was very happy with them. I like the walk-in tub a lot ‘cause I can wash my hair, shave my legs, and then soak. First, I don't plug the drain, so I wash my hair and shave my legs and all that goes down the drain, and then I fill up the tub, and relax for a while.

We reached out to American Standard because my husband needed a walk-in tub. The salesperson was good, and the installation went perfectly. Everything went smoothly. We went with the tub-shower combo, and it’s a good product. It has the colored lights and aromatherapy. It’s easy to use and it’s serving our purpose. I don’t have any problems with this bathtub. It’s expensive, but I knew that going into it. I’m not sorry that we did it. I would recommend it.

The installation team from American Standard was excellent. They’re very professional. They covered everything up and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job. My favorite part is the jets. It's really relaxing.

The gentleman came out and introduced himself, and he told me what they could do and what it looked like. He also showed me parts of the tub that he had with him. The name sold it to us as much as anything else.

However, the door seal design is important. That was the most important feature of American Standard as opposed to ones from big-box stores. Also, the lifetime warranty was a big deal for me. Anybody can put it in there, but if something happens after the fact, they're nowhere to be found.

The biggest reason we got American Standard was medical and mobility issues with my husband. And so far, it’s wonderful. Our favorite part is being able to sit, relax, and soak in it, especially my husband. And it’s easy for him to access. The team from American Standard was also amazing, from the original salesperson that came out and measured and gave us the estimate to the installers. They were wonderful. Everything was seamless, it was as promised.

I researched online and did some comparisons, and decided that American Standard would be right for us and the sales visit was very good, thorough. I met him along with my sister and he handled both of us really well. They called ahead of time, as I had requested, to let me know they’d arrive in 30 minutes so I could meet them. My sister is older, so I handled most of it. Everything went like clockwork, they were professional, nice, and did a really good job. We were very satisfied. It looked really good when they finished. I stayed out of there because I knew they knew what they were doing.

We had a walk-in tub for years. We bought it online and we had a friend of ours who does plumbing put it in. So we had it because my husband had a stroke and that made it easy to get in and out. When we moved, I said I needed a tub. I went online and just put walk-in tub and a bunch of them came up and I made appointments with them all. American Standard came first and it just sounded so good that we just went with them. And I love the tub. Then, we had to move again from North Carolina up to Ohio. I just paid for the tub. It was in my daughter's house. I lived there with my daughter. She's still enjoying it. When I moved up to take care of my mom in Ohio, I said, ''We need a tub up here.'' So we bought another one.

From the beginning everything was fine with American Standard, the guy put in the tub in one day and it was really nice and I paid him. I’m perfectly fine with the walk-in tub, I like the fact that you can fill it up and drain all the water out. I use it a couple of times a week. The person who installed it was Greg and his team and they did a good job. They did it all in one day and I'm really satisfied with it. I still talk and see him all the time. He lives over in Topsham, not too far from me.

I like the salesman from American Standards. He wasn’t overbearing and was straightforward. The installation team came in and did what they said. We had a walk-in tub installed, and replaced the heater with an on-demand water heater so we could fill it up. It has great features. We are satisfied with it.

Love the tub and the jets. Wonderful for aching backs. However, try to get American Standard to repair something broken or not working and you will be very frustrated!! We’ve gone over a month trying to get the shower head fixed. I keep having to call them and get the run around. VERY frustrating. Would like to use our tub and all features.

This has been the worst 25,000.00 purchase we have ever made! Has been 1 year of disaster. The wrong tub was installed, have been getting the run around for a year as well as getting avoided and no return calls when finally I got someone to call back nothing was noted in my account. I would never recommend purchasing one of these. My elderly parents who use to take baths daily can now only take showers!

I bought the top of line Am Std "Liberation" walkin tub/spa with 43 jets, $21,000+ installed. very disappointed. I'm 6'1, 300 lbs. I barely fit. Only half my body is immersed. Lots of impressive bubbles but no power in any jet. Barely feel anything. The jets are a joke. Total waste of my money.

My tub was delivered two weeks early without any communication from the company. It was delivered to my mailbox and left there! Completely unacceptable!!! I left a message for my sales representative and the delivery company and received no response!!!!

I have several problems with my tube and it has been over two months and still not resolved. I had appointment then they canceled and still have not scheduled. Don’t buy this tube. The company sucks… Paid over 20,000 dollars. I will not be paying one dime more until they fix… Don’t buy…

Beware that American Standard uses outside contractors to do any and all warranty claim work. I have made several calls to American Standard repair number for warranty work to be done on our walk-in tub. We purchased the tub because of the Lifetime warranty and because of the safety getting in and out of the tub as seniors, We have been forced to use our guest bathtub with the unsafe high sides, because we can't get anyone to get here to fix our walk-in tub. Several calls resulted in the persons I spoke with notifying me they are using outside private contractors to do their warranty claim repairs and they have no control over the repair scheduling. Don't purchase from a company that promises everything to sell you a tub, only to abandon you after the sale. What good is having a lifetime warranty if you can never get the repairs done. This is a very unsafe situation for the very people that American Standard professes to care about.

The installation went smoothly, though they had a little bit of a problem getting the old American Standard tub out. I was wanting to save it but was not able to do that because of the material it was made from. They had to saw it out to get it out in pieces, but they handled it well and quickly.
