After purchasing of 2 yrs it becomes trash. So disappointed I ain't gotta time & money buying trash the manufacturer hurry quickly to build so we as consumer to buy. I'm so sick of this shit rush to build knowing this products not gonna lasted.

We purchased an Amana Dryer 7 months ago and have been dealing with Warranty issues for over half that time. The Dryer (model NED4655EW1) has been destroying anything that is knit or linen. Think shirts, sheets, tablecloths. It was pulling thread and snagging material. We reached out to warranty and it took several weeks to get a repair person to our home, all the while we stopped using it. The repairman came and replaced the drum seals and glued one of them. The very next time we used it, it destroyed (2) more shirts and left more snags in sheets and now added a glue smell. We immediately called again. This time they said they would replace the drum assembly and it would be a few more weeks. The repair service cancelled due to lack of parts.

Will never purchase an Amana product again...Washing Machine purchased approx.19 months ago...Service repairman coming today... Seems to be stuck in drain mode...Not happy...Machine NOT abused or overworked...A common issue?? Ugh!! An electronic issue??

Amana top load washer, a NTW4519JW, new model year 2024, bought June 2024. At first, great, larger load washer, runs quietly, cleans clothes really well. You could fit a queen sized blanket in there and it wasn't over loaded. I did research for 3 months as I saved up money to buy a replacement and this washer was the winner of my research at the time. Was a replacement of a older washer that had emitted a dino death scream (what was wrong I don't know fixing it cost more than a new washer).

Brand new Amana medium gas dryer. It does not heat up enough to dry the clothes? Dryer vent is clean and the gas line is functioning properly. Lint screen is cleaned after each load. My guess is they are built to be more efficient than functional. No energy is being saved though. Have to run the dryer 2 or 3 loads to get the clothes dry.

I will never buy an Amana product again. I bought an electric stove that arrived scratched all over and the seal around the glass top was broken. I sent them pictures and they stated it was just cosmetic and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Now less than 18 months later, it has quit working completely. Both the oven and burners are useless. I wish I had done more research before ordering a new stove from Whirlpool and discovering they own Amana. I hope I didn’t just set myself up for more aggravation.

I bought an Amada French Door refrigerator in 2014. I had a problem with water dripping and freezing on the back ledge of the freezer and the ice maker stopped working. I did some research and the company indicated that the drain plug was not the correct size. I installed the new drain plug ($17) in the back of the refrigerator and it fixed the problem. After that, I cleaned off the ice maker, flipped the bar a few times and the ice maker worked. I have not had any problems until now (2025). The ice maker stopped working and after some testing, using YouTube videos and a multi-meter, I have determined that the ice maker is no longer functional. My question is; should I replace the ice maker or just wait until the refrigerator dies and get a new one?

Junk, Pure junk!!! Replaced old Roper washer after 19 years of use because material blocked impeller and damaged motor, 19+ years without a problem. Bought Amana and it dies 2 months after warranty expires. Did not even get 19 months from this POS!!!

Been extremely unprofessional. We bought an Amana washer in January of 2024, and have been having issues from the very beginning. From not washing the clothing properly to now having major issues and not cycling correctly. We had to call in for maintenance many times, always been referred to Diamond Factory Service. They were also horrible, constantly trying to convince us that the washer was fine and had no problems. In March the machine stopped cycling properly, meaning it could no longer be used. We have been waiting ever since March to have it repaired and it is still broken. We were promised a technician from Diamond Factory service since this was a common issue on the appliance. The technician came earlier than the agreed time, left before anyone could meet with him, and cancelled our appointment. Avoid both Amana and Diamond Factory Service at all costs, they are completely horrible, rude, and disrespectful.

My wife and I are in our late 80s. We purchased an Amana dishwasher in 2024. So far we have spent over $700.00 on plumbers & had a so called factory man here 3 times and they said we had to have an extra hot water heater for it to work right. All this to no avail. I guess you people like cheating elderly people on fixed incomes. Well we might be older but we aren't stupid. You don't seem to give a damn so I will be contacting my lawyer & I know many hundreds of people and I will personally let them know just how sorry a product you are peddling. Our warranty is up in one month. So see how you like being ignored.

Nothing but problems with computer board. Had to have computer board replaced before even using. Ran okay for less than a year and another problem after cycling through machine kept running like it was draining. Wouldn’t stop. Come to find out it was the computer board again. Now they said part was here. Come to find out after a week wrong replacement. Now have to wait again for correct part which is in high demand to come. Very aggravating. Ready to trash it if this doesn’t work again for third time. Had my GE washer and dryer for over 25 years and not a problem. Wish I had moved it now instead of buying new.

No one answered phone. Their website claims, "Call us 844-200-5463." 7 am to midnight ET, 7 days, but no one picks up. Parts that found match to model number but size seems way off to what I need. Just wanted to verify but seems like a scam to fix Amana appliances. They seem cheap, not quality product. What is the country of origin. We have rights to know.

This is the worst company. First time and last I ever buy an Amana product. This washer is junk and I wish I would have read reviews before I bought. Lots of people are calling it junk. Stay away. It breaks very fast.

Bought Amana top loading washer last year type 588–20 model number NTW4519JW2. It has been an awful experience operating this machine. You have to keep an eye on it. You can’t just walk away and come back and it’s completed. Many times it gets off balanced and I’m very careful with spreading the clothes within and I do not overload the tub. You have to completely cancel the cycle And wait and then put it on drain spin cycle in order for the load to be fit to put into the dryer. I am a mature woman with plenty of experience with many brands of washing machines over the years. Unfortunately, the sensor fill and drain has a lot to be desired. I’m sure this is the case with many models. I chose this one because of the price point and the size of basin. And it’s also very noisy which I’ve gotten used to. I live close to an airport anyway lol.

We bought this washer and it would stay unbalanced and walk across the floor. Received new one and that started to do the same thing so Amana sent tech out and after 3 tries it was finally fixed. My mother-in-law whom is elderly bought one and now it’s doing the same thing. Of course she just told us and it’s out of warranty. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM AMANA. THEY GIVE YOU RUN AROUND PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR 30 minutes and then they hang up.

We purchased the Amana washer which is a division of Whirpool, the washer developed mind of its own and it requires the control board, I would not recommend to purchase these brands as it seems to be common problem which the company does not fix the issue, the control board is expensive and it's not worth to fix the washer, seems like after year and a half brand new washer will have to be dispose.

So I built a house, selected a dryer that had good reviews, and once I moved in the ** thing wouldn't dry my clothes. It has all the sensors to do normal, heavy, towels, etc. and is supposed to run until the clothes are dry. Failed every single time. It works on timed dry only. Forward to the service guy who makes it go into the different cycles. It does that, but that's not the problem. He leaves, says run a load and call me if it doesn't work. Duh, it didn't work. I call again, he takes it apart and puts it back together, says it does all the cycles and leaves. I call Whirlpool and explain, in detail, that the dryer, when set on anything other than timed dry, doesn't dry. It stops early and the clothes are damp.

Bought Amana Washer Model NTW4519JWN 15 months ago. Circuit Board went out last weekend. Contacted Amana and they said "you are 3months out of warranty, we cannot help you". You would think a replicable Model such as Amana would try to keep customers happy. Well, they just lost this one. Cost me Six hundred dollars of service and parts - 15 months after bought New.

I bought my Amana washer on 2/4. It was delivered on 2/8. The guys that delivered it did not speak English, so they couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand them. They set it up in my laundry room, turned it on, took a picture and left. They did not wait to see if it would cycle through correctly. Surprise, it didn't. I had to push the start button 2 or 3 times to get it started. Then the sensor light came on and it started filling with water which took forever. When it finally went to wash, it made huge clunking noises and the lid never locked. I had it on quick wash and it took a good hour for it to complete the wash. The only time the lid locked was on the final spin cycle.

It seems like every Amana product in my townhouse is garbage. Unless there was a psychotic contractor installing them and sabotaging his work. My refrigerator has a fan in the freezer that skips against ice and makes a horrendous sounds. I spend an hour and a half taking the back freezer panel off and chipping away the ice blocks every 2 months, but it keeps coming back. Apparently there might be a chip malfunction in my Amana washing machine that makes it cycle continuously. If I keep it plugged in or it will draw energy continuously and kill my power bill. These are sweet products, but I highly recommend going to another manufacturer. I’ll never buy a product from them.

Amana Range missing slide mechanism. Amana refuses to send a replacement. The fact that the unit is missing the slide mechanism for the drawer indicates very poor quality review. I wouldn't buy another Amana product.

Very defective washer. It tangles up all clothes. It does not have option to fill full tank. No option to run lesser time. Takes more than 30 minutes. Worse machine. Waste of money. Waste of Energy & Time.

Intermittent leak-Amana NO help! Purchased dishwasher model #ADB1400AMS from Home Depot online and had them install. 2 months later noticed cupping of the oak flooring along side of the unit and then water pooling underneath. HD referred us to manufacturer. After 3 service calls, they could not find the issue and basically said 'you're on your own'. They refused to replace the machine...said 'read your warranty'... To be clear, we also had a plumber check the plumbing and HD came back out to check the install before referring us to the manufacturer. We are left at this point having to file a HO insurance claim for the floor (discounted premium for -0- claims in 34 years will now be gone) and trying to decide on options on how to proceed. I guess you get what you pay for.

I purchased a basic clothes dryer, model NED4655EW1. It does not dry clothes completely in one cycle, no matter the setting. It also makes a mess when emptying the lint trap. They said I could get it repaired, but I don't like the model and they will not let me return it. It's bad company policy to not give a refund when a customer isn't satisfied. I will never purchase another Amana product.

We purchased an Amana refrigerator with ice back May 12th. In June it started freezing up and I dealt with just defrosting it. Then in July it was completely froze up again and the motor couldn't spin. I then had to disengage the ice machine because I feared it would burn up. Since then I have been trying to deal with customer service. They tell me they have to wait and try and get a service person out to look at it. Then they ask me to find a service person to come look at it. (I live very remote and there are none). Then they want me to drive it back 80 miles to where I got it. (Which means I have to empty it, haul it to a pickup and return. I told them no. Then they told me I have to wait another 10 days to see if they can escalate it. I waited for their call and it never came.

Amana is one of the worst washing machines ever. It’s poor manufacturing and it's defective final spin cycle. It spins out of control it until it stops, a red light comes on and it does not rinse. It will not work past the one year warranty. After the one year warranty the manufacturing company will send out a repair man but - You will have to pay out of pocket. It will not last past the two years we have had multiple problems with this one machine. It was just a waste of money for one year worth of laundry.

Top load washing machine. NTW4519JW2. This machine is extremely difficult to get an evenly balanced load. It violently jumps across the floor when spinning. Have used many brands of washers for many years and never had the problems that this machine has as far as balance. Now the machine will not shut off when cycle is complete. Probably something broke from the machine slamming into the wall and dryer. Do not buy!

I purchased the Amanda top-load washing machine, and it broke exactly one year and one day after purchase—just outside the warranty. I used it lightly, about 8 loads a month, so this shouldn't have happened. To make matters worse, dealing with customer service was a nightmare. They were rude and completely unhelpful. It's going to take weeks just to get a repair person to come out. Before you buy the machine check how far the warranty repair shop is from your house or even if there's one in your area. For me, they have to drive over 50 miles to get to my house because there's nothing closer. The machine won’t turn off and I was told it could be a fire hazard! Absolutely unacceptable. Stay away from this product.

The worst washer I've ever owned. It won't fill with water correctly, washing towels is a nightmare, and this was from day 1. This was a major purchase for me and I'm so disappointed.. I can't afford another new one so I'm stuck with this lemon. It made me give it 1 star but 0 stars is my real answer.

I have bought a Amana Stove and washing machine BOTH of which quit working after 2 years. The brand is not what I thought it would be to be made by Whirlpool. Extremely disappointed. Will not ever purchase this brand again.

I had a Amana Dish Washer, I got it in July-2023 and never works properly. Still today I am on call for about an hour to hold live agent to talk and get an update about my service request but all agent transfer to another agent. No one want to answer or give an update. Never buy any Amana products.

I will just say, if you want to Boil Pasta...good luck. I used my Kettle to boil water and Then put it in the Pot on the stove ,and the BOIL DIES!! And so will your Pasta... among other things, that need a Consistent Boiling of Water. Boiling water CONSISTENTLY IS NOT what this Stove does. Forget about Roasting a Turkey or Anything...the Oven DOES NOT HOLD a Temperature. Just don't do it. Buyer Beware!!!! Please don't put your money into this Mistakenly made piece of garbage! BOOOO!!!!!

I have been in the house I live in for less than a year. This Amana stove was one of the new appliances here. It flickers a lot. I called the Amana customer service that stated I had to pay $150 for someone to come out and check it. I lifted the range to clean under it. The entire metal piece broke apart. This is a horrible product. If this product causes a fire just know I wrote the review on here first.

The washer stopped draining and according to the company the filter is inside the drain pump so this ensures that you have to call their technicians and pay hundreds of dollars for them to come out to fix the problem instead of fixing it yourself. Do not buy this hunk of junk. Pay more for a machine with a separate filter.

This will be the last Amana appliances I will ever own. Service out here 3 times. Last time replaced some circuit or sensor board, still didn't help. Techs say, "It's balancing out the load," I said, "No, it's not." I have shut off and opened washer up. It's not unbalanced. I'm done with it.

We had a washer a year and 1 month and of course it’s not covered from the warranty but then hoping this would last 5 years. The washer stop working and we don’t have any ideas on how it got it. We called customer service for support or technical assistance but the person told us they don’t have a technical support and it goes to a third party which means you paying all the services. I can’t imagine the products never last even few years and the company can’t do anything to help. They says buy a new one. DO NOT BUY AMANA PRODUCTS.

We bought our machine from Home Hardware in March of 2022. For the first 18-20 mos. we were happy but now, after about 1/2 hr. the machine stops at the wash cycle. We have no idea if it went through the wash AND rinse cycle then backwards or what. We don't do heavy loads or a lot of laundry. It is even worse on the sheet cycle, shaking the machine. We now hate this machine and would never recommend it to anyone. We tried the online tips from others re stopping, restarting, turning dials this way and that. Now we have to put it on drain and spin to finally get all the water out of the clothes. We live in the country with limited water so this is really disturbing. Appliances shouldn't die in 1 1/2 years!

I bought my Amana range in June of 2023. Ran the self clean feature in January 2024.. The door latch wouldn’t release and got error code F5E1. Took off the back panel and could see scorch marks on the inside as well as on the fibreglass. Stove top didn’t work either, range was out of warranty.

Bought Amana washer and dryer in 2019. Washer has broken down over 5 times. Agitators keeps breaking. They finally put new one in this week. Dryer makes loud noise. They came to repair same time washer broke. I’ve never had such a crappy set of appliances. Save your money and buy something different. I could not afford anything else being a single mom. My washer and dryer have broken down over 5 times.
