Watch out for the hidden fees that they do not fully disclose! I paid a total of $600 per month for Zepbound. Now, my Zepbound is through my insurance; I now only pay $50 per month. Ro is a real ripoff!!

Ro advertised $119 a month. Once I entered my information, it advised me that my medication would be $140 a month. I entered my credit card info and it said there would be a $39 nonrefundable membership fee. Fine. I was ok with the price anyway. I had selected that I was interested in Tirzepatide. BUT when it went further and asked about the GLP 1 I was currently taking, it said I would have to do brand name Wegovy (Semaglutide) at $199 a month OR brand name Zepbound (Tirzepatide) at $299 a month. I tried to cancel and it let me cancel but they will still charge the $39 for the membership that I didn't even get to use AND that I cancelled because they lied repeatedly about the price to get my card info.

Once they get you committed to a multi month pre-paid deal they become deaf to your concerns. "Visit" is simply a checklist attended to by AI. Not ethical medical practice... all about the upsell. One week in, they clawed out money for next month, prematurely. Avoid this type of set up, go to your Primary MD.

Scam. Their weight loss "membership" does NOT include the medication, despite their promising "access" to it. It is a NON-REFUNDABLE fee in addition to the medication, which they charge you for later.

I originally had a good experience with this company, but unfortunately things have changed. My monthly membership payment was taken from my checking account, yet no prescription refill was provided. When I tried to refill my prescription, the only option available was 1.5 mg, even though I had already moved up to 4 mg. I have tried calling and emailing multiple times, but I have been unable to get anyone to actually help. Instead, I keep receiving a link telling me to order the 1.5 mg dose. I do not want to go back to a lower dose after already moving up.

I wouldn't recommend this company. They have terrible customer service. I have been going in circles with them for 3 weeks and I still haven't received my prescription. When their customer service team finally answers you, they are referring to old notes, and they can't seem to grasp what is going on. I have one more week left with my current membership. So, I had to cancel because I didn't want to be charged the membership fee with another month of no medication.

Stay away from this company. I was foolish enough to make a purchase from them and here I am 6 weeks later and haven't received my order. I have made several attempts to contact them to no avail. I have asked for a refund, again no response.

RO misleads you on pricing and their whole model is designed to suck money out of the consumer. They add fees on top of the medication and start you on a very low dose to drag out the incremental dosage increases to bill you until an effective dosage level is finally received many months after starting and once they have suck you dry. It's all part of their billing scheme because simply giving you the correct dosage without the added fees, means they make much less money. Conclusion is they don't care about your health. It's a money grabbing scam.

Scam. They will charge you even if they don't ship the product. They will charge for an undisclosed "membership fee" at $150 per month. Even after many requests to stop the charges I still get charged. Never do business with this company.

I recently got anxiety at a higher dose of GLP-1, and the doctor stated to either try a different one or take a break. My subscription ended in 2 days so I cancelled and a Np approved an increased dose and assured me that it was ok to be increased, even though I had messaged the doctor that I was going to take a break and get back to feeling better. What money-hungry company to increase a medication when I’m having issues and doing it because I’m sure of the fact that I cancelled my subscription with them.

The experience has been very frustrating. They do not come out and tell you the costs in entirety. It is a mystery wrapped in bad business practices. I have not even spoken with a human being and thought I was paying $99/month when in fact they charge me that and $149/month for .... to administer the program? This second charge was not spelled out clearly and with no way to get out of it since they took my 12 month upfront payment for the actual glp-1. I AM NOT IMPRESSED. Do more homework than I did. FOOL ME ONCE... shame on me.

Worst company ever! They are scamming people for a 1-year subscription. I paid 19 for one month and 149 for the medication. It took 3 weeks to arrive. I tried it and it made me really sick. 3 days ago, they charged me 888 dollars. I seen the charge 2 minutes after it posted and tried to cancel. They said NO! They canceled it for next year, but I have to pay for a year of something that I can't use.

When I signed up for this program I was not made aware of a monthly fee along with paying for the medication every month so basically it’s $149 a month for medication and another $149 a month membership which is insane… I canceled after 1st month!

This is a gimmick. They mislead you by paying a $39 membership fee, but do not tell you that it will cost 149 a month PLUS your medication cost. Didn’t work.

My experience with Ro Health has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish. I received a defective Zepbound KwikPen that was leaking upon administering the first dose. I immediately contacted Ro through both phone and email. After multiple attempts and being bounced around between representatives, someone finally pointed me in the right direction to request a replacement directly through Lilly/Zepbound. Even that process was unnecessarily difficult and took several days just to figure out where to go and what steps to follow. Once the replacement approval certificate was issued, Ro informed me that one of their doctors would send the replacement prescription to the pharmacy. That process also took additional time and follow-up. I chose CVS as the pharmacy and finally picked up the replacement medication — only to discover the prescription did NOT include needles. Let that sink in.

I regret I didn't read ConsumerAffairs before I 'enrolled' in Ro's weight loss program by paying an initial $45, plus (I assumed) a monthly or less expensive upfront payment. I (wrongly) understood I could cancel at any time. Unfortunately, I paid over $1,000 up front for the medication and later was billed a $149 'membership' fee. I estimate this will cost another $1639 if I continue the plan, and if I cancel I will not receive a refund of any portion of the up front payment. TOTAL RIP-OFF.

Hidden fees! I paid $339 for one bottle of pills that made me extremely ill and I did not lose a pound. Gigantic scam.

Rip off... You pay the membership but they never explain how costly the drugs are going to be until you get to the end. You try to cancel the initial membership at that point and you find out it is non refundable. I see a class action lawsuit in the future. It is a flat out money grab. YouTube will give you all the info you need. Get a prescription from your doctor and go to Costco, Walmart or Amazon.

Scammers! Do NOT trust this company. You have to put in all your payment information before finding out medication type and cost. They automatically enroll you in a subscription. I wasn’t interested in any GLP1 that had to offer and canceled within minutes. Guess what? You still get charged! Don’t do it! They are making a lot of money without having to send out any meds! My doctor said GLP1 online is all SALINE! It’s not real! CC company said I can’t dispute because it was a subscription…🤬🤬🤬

I filled out the online application. I was charged the $5 but I couldn’t log into my account. I keep receiving errors that my email isn’t registered with them. I submitted my email to the only email they have and it took two and a half days for them to reply and ask for more information. During that wait time, they charged me for the medication $149.00. I replied back with no answer and going on 4 days with no reply. I could have resolved this with 1 phone call in about 5 mins. Customer service is extremely poor!

After seeing several advertisements for RO and the lost cost GLP1 pill for weight loss, I went online to sign up for it. I know of several people who took it and reached their weight loss goal. Finding out my employer medical insurance didn't cover the cost of the medication I was desperate to find a low affordable cost alternative, so when I saw that RO offered it for as low as $49 per month, I fell for the false advertisement and signed up online. I was charged. The $49 Was the online consultation fee and then offered the medication for an additional cost of $199.00. I did not buy it due to the misleading advertisement.

I choose the Wegovy pill since it is the cheapest at $149 plus the monthly membership fee. They did not explain that the first few doses of 1.5 and 4 mg really don’t do anything to your appetite but is required to reduce side effects. Once you move up to the higher doses (9 mg & 25mg) the prices go up to $199 and $299. This was not revealed until the new dose was prescribed.

The company does not tell you out right that you will have to get to the higher dose for the medication to work its best. So you pay a lot for medication and have to be on it for months. The main complaint I have is they don't tell you about the Ro membership that cost an extra $150 a month. This is for “Dr consult etc” which is brief at best. You can be any weight and get the medication. Felt like it was a money grab.

Buyer beware! Horribly misleading. The website makes it seem like you pay $45 upfront then $145/mo for GLP1 weightloss program. You have to pay $45 to find out the monthly fee of $145 DOES NOT INCLUDE medication. With medication, the costs are $500+. The $45 is non-refundable so the co is raking in the initial fees.

Ro is an absolute ripoff disguised as a wellness service. They lure you in with misleading promises, only to reveal the true costs after locking you into a $145 recurring membership that doesn’t even cover medication. It’s a bait-and-switch operation at its finest. You have to pay a $45 “membership fee” just to see pricing, then brace yourself for sticker shock — $299 per month for a tiny 2.5 mg vial or $399 for 5 mg, depending on the brand. Pen options start at $499, and if you actually decide to purchase, they tack on another $100 a month to your so-called membership. The end result? A confusing, inflated structure that feels deliberately deceptive and designed to squeeze every dime out of you. Total scam — avoid at all costs.

MISLEADING advertising! They play on people's desire for a healthier life and then hit you with RIDICULOUS membership fee. I pride myself in looking for the 'catch' & details, but missed this and within 5 weeks, LOST hundreds of dollars and no benefit from meds. The monthly fee costs more than the meds! I'm a teacher supporting my family, and this loss of money has created a hardship and left me without help for my health.

The payment plan is very unclear, and I believe they intentional obscure how much the cost will be after the initial month. After the first month you have to pay a membership fee of $145 every month. This doesn't apply to the medication cost at all. Meanwhile, there is very limited interaction with a "doctor". I don't feel confident that this is good and safe medical advice.

My shipment showed it was delivered but I did not receive it. Contacted Ro, they sent me to Novo Nordisk who said they had no responsibility since I'd ordered through Ro. Went to UPS who said you can't file a claim for ground shipments, and they'd transferred the delivery to USPS anyway. Went to USPS, filled out all the pages to file a claim only to get a page saying "This Option Is Not Available At This Time, Try Again Later." There is no phone number to talk to anyone at Ro, and they were very dismissive and not helpful at all. $194.00 down the drain. Ro needs to be responsible for the shipper they use.

RO it's a scam, I chose the cash option and they bait & switch the $45 1st month membership promo and doesn't include the medication. They do not explain that the $45 this is just to get you qualified. Then once you are qualified... they immediately charge you a $145 for the medication and ship it immediately, so you can't even refund it. A good honest company provides you an itemized bill. The option of whether you want to purchase after you see the membership fees and medication cost. Not RO they charge you without notice. One last thing I like to mention is there's no phone number to contact anyone there. I assumed RO was legit and I feel RO scammed me for $200 bucks... BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
