What is ReadyRx?

ReadyRX has been in business since 2022 and is owned and run by Executive Medical, LLC. The company prescribes compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, Ozempic and Zepound. These medications work by lowering blood sugar levels, increasing satiety and slowing digestion. ReadyRX also offers prescription wellness and longevity medication like NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), glutathione (GSH) and metformin (also used off-label for weight loss).

How does ReadyRx work?

Prospective patients can get approved for and prescribed weight loss medications entirely online. You’ll take a short online quiz about your medical history, past efforts and current goals. A board-certified provider then reviews your answers, and if you qualify, you’ll be prescribed a weight loss medication of your choice.

You'll receive your prescription once you accept and pay within three to five days. You can cancel any time by contacting the company directly or through your online account, but cancellation requests must be made at least four days before your next renewal date to take effect. Refunds are not available for partially-used membership periods.

ReadyRx weight loss medication costs

ReadyRX’s prices include the cost of medication and unlimited text support with a provider:

  • Ozempic: $1,289 per month
  • Zepound: $1,385 per month
  • Compounded semaglutide: $299 per month for month-to-month subscribers or $747 for a three-month supply ($249 per month) when paid in full; special promotions sometimes drop the price for the first month to $19
  • Compounded tirzepatide: $399 per month (no discounted three-month price)

ReadyRX has no membership fees, but with the cost of your monthly medication you receive unlimited messaging and support from your provider, making its model nearly identical to membership-based GLP-1 prescribers.

The company partners with Klarna, a buy-now-pay-later service that lets patients split their total costs into four payments.

Is ReadyRx legit?

Yes, ReadyRX is legit and is a LegitScript certified company. ReadyRX prescribes both branded GLP-1 drugs and less-expensive compounded versions. The company only works with FDA-regulated and state-licensed compounding pharmacies that are LegitScript certified. It also tests all its compounded drugs with a third-party FDA- and DEA-registered lab and offers a certificate of analysis (CoA) to all patients.

The company guarantees a full refund if you haven’t lost at least 5% of your baseline body weight after taking a compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide for at least 28 weeks as prescribed.

I’ve had a great experience with ReadyRx. Customer service answered my questions quickly and made me feel taken care of, not just like a ticket number. Ordering was simple, and my medication arrived faster than expected. I’m already noticing real progress and feel supported the whole way.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. No one ever gets back to you. I have tried to cancel since July, then in Aug, and then in September. Got the standard response via text messages of we will get back to you in 24-48 hours. No one ever responded. I promise you that I will continue to share how this company is such a disappointment. I had to pause my account for 3 months, and when the pause was up, I tried to cancel again. I was never sent a "your prescription is going to renew" notice. Finally, spoke to a rep, STEPHANIE, who stated the notice should have been sent out 5 days before renewal. Then I was charged $240.00.

When I called to dispute it, they conveniently waited for the shipment to go out and then responded, saying it was already sent and that there is no refund. UNPROFESSIONAL. Was told to follow through with the cancellation process online. Stephanie assured me that she would look into a reimbursement of some sort and get back to me that day. NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. When you try to cancel, the company has 4 boxes that have to be (xed). One says you have to acknowledge that you will be charged one more time for the product. Why am I canceling, being charged again, and not getting the product? Who in their right mind would check that box? When you call, you get the run-around, and you can't cancel over the phone. What kind of company doesn't allow you to cancel over the phone? TOTAL BS. Better Business Bureau, here I come, and you bet I am reporting this as FRAUD! This is why people need to flag this company.

Didn’t receive in allotted time. No updates and just sitting as being filled by pharmacy for a week. When I asked for a refund they started harassing me and called at least five times, after I asked them to stop contacting me. I would never trust injecting anything from them at this point. Fraud

I ordered the weight loss program. I’ve been billed on three separate occasions $300 each and have only received one prescription.. I would not recommend this company and will be canceling. Messaging with the doctor is easy enough, but it’s confusing to have order the prescriptions every time. And of course they automatically bill you whether or not they send a prescription!
