After calling for the free trial, my bank charge was $179.00. Then I received three additional charges for $89.90 and $12.95. Products were returned and still no refunds!

I heard about Hydroxatone on the radio about a free trial, so I called about it and I was told that I didn't need to purchase unless I liked it. It was just a free trial, I only need to pay shipping and handling. I used my debt card, then money started missing from my account, when I inquired with my bank I found out it was this company. When I called to cancel, they told me that they were going to continue to take money out of my account. So, I closed the account and now i am getting letters that I'm being referred to their bad credit office. I don't need this on my credit. I have worked too hard to get my credit to where it is now. Can you help or hurt my case please respond. Thank you.

I don’t even know how this Hydroxatone company is allowed to do business. They reel customers in by offering free samples in order to get your credit card information and then they bill you each month. When you call their customer service, they give you the run around and hang up in your face. You can try calling them but I guarantee you it will be a waste of your time. I’ve gotten numerous letters from them stating that I owe them money when I canceled this frivolous transaction immediately after receiving their product.

I was so angry that when I opened this package and looked at the invoice, I never even opened their free sample of eye cream (and supplements) that they shipped to me. However, from the other complaints that I’ve read, Hydroxatone AM/PM eye cream is nothing more than a skin moisturizer. I didn’t even order any supplements from this company, yet I have to pay to ship them back. This is a terrible, terrible scam and they should be sued! Where is a good lawyer when you need one? This resulted to stress, anxiety, and frustration.

There actually is still an advertisement on television about a free trial at your own risk on this product, only pay shipping for $5.99. So I give the representative my debit card number. I did not give permission or made any arrangements for any purchases, except for the $5.99. I was sent the free trial, which I did receive. Without any contact or permission, they went back into my account on 02.19.10 and withdrew $67.99, which I did not realize until I received my bank statement. Then on 03.15.10 1, I received a small package of this product I did not order.

When I called the company the representative told me the small package was just a free gift and I had signed up for the monthly supply and on 03.18.10. They would charge my account $67.00 again each month. I did not make any arrangement or give approval to this company to withdraw any amount of monies from my account but the $5.99 trial. They did deduct $67.00 on 02.19.10, which I would like a full refund.

I ordered the $6.95 trial. It irritated my skin. I called immediately and was told not to worry, to keep it as complimentary, and that my subscription is cancelled. I spoke with Alisa (X 544). This happened around 10/2/09. I received the product on 9/9/09. I cancelled on 9/10/09. Then I just received a bill in the mail today, 3/15/10, for a bill for $224.54.

I told Nicole what had happened. She told me that the deal is I must return product within 30 days and not just cancel. She doesn't know who told me that prior info. She also said I could no longer return product and that they would not accept. This is the first correspondence I've received from them in 6 months, and they say I cannot now return the product. I would have returned it immediately. They want to charge me $224.54. Operator Nicole was extremely nasty and seemed very confident that I would have to pay this.

I ordered my free trial on 2/13/2010 and was immediately charged (2/14/2010) for the shipping and handling. However, I have never received the trial. I called and was told it was delivered and to call the post office. During that conversation, I cancelled any further shipment (well within the 30-day time frame). It will be interesting to see if I am billed. Not to the BBB site.

In December 2009, I ordered hydroxatone after hearing their ad on the radio. The only thing l remembered was l will get the product for 30-day free trial. I received a package with three jars in it. My reaction was that it's a lot to use in 30 days; it must be a cheap product. l tried and didn't see any improvement but some rash on my face but I decided to keep it and pay $69 to avoid the possible dispute of returned but not received kind of issue.

Yesterday, February 14th 2010, I called to cancel future shipment after seeing my credit card statement with the $69.96 charge. l was told that I still owe them almost $140 for the second and third jars that I received which I didn't know when I received the package, but stupidly thinking they were part of the 30-day trial. The representative on the phone said that there was a special deal yesterday that if I pay in full, then they will take $40 off, and pay only $99. I foolishly said okay. Then l read all the negative complaints about the company this morning and realized that I wasn't the only stupid one that was scammed. What can l do to get my money back? Is it right to send people extra jars for one jar trial?

If l had known that the second and third jars weren't part of the trial, I'd returned them with all means instead of keeping them. Who would pay more than $200 to try a product? I lost $180 to a product that l can't use to improve my look but adding rash on my face.

Hydroxatone is a scam. They are a bait and switch scam. They tell you that they will give you a free 30 day trial supply of eye cream for only $6.95 (shipping and handling), they say nothing about automatically charging your credit card $69.95 every month until you get the product and the invoice. Then it says if you don't want the product to return product (empty or not) within a 30 day period (you call customer service and they give you a RMA - return merchandise #).

I followed their instructions. The charge of $69.95 would be on my credit card if I had not returned the product by 2/8/2010. I returned product by USPS on 1/15/2010. Now they say they have no proof that I returned it. They charged me $69.95 anyway, although I plainly wrote the RMA.

When I signed up for the free trial of one jar of Hydroxatone in October 28, 2009, it was my understanding that I only had to pay for shipping and handling $13.90. And when I tried Hydroxatone, I broke out with a rash on my face. This made my appearance worse than ever. I stopped using this product and called to cancel.

I waited on the phone over 30 minutes and did on get any one. When I called another Customer Service number that issues for cancellations, no one would answer, and I got a voice mail. I left a message and did not hear from them. Next thing, I was charge $69.95 on December 7, 2009 for one of the jars and $69.94 on January 4, 2010 on the second jar. And now, they are trying to charge me another $69.95 for the third jar.

Then I received a package of three more jars that I tried to cancel, and they wanted to charge on my card $219.80. I cancelled my credit card, for they could not take any more money. I finally was able to talk to a Rodney from Hydroxatone, and he stated that there is no record of cancellations. He wanted me to return the three jars I received on February 2, 2010 on certified mail where someone have to sign for it. So, there's more money to spend, and return address is a PO Box where you don't have anyone to sign.

I was billed shipping on 12/3/09 for $6.95; it was for a trial, which was never received. I remember that the ad indicated six to eight weeks, so it may still be on the way--not going to happen. On 1/10/10, I was billed $69.96 for the next shipment, which was also never received. Martha confirms that the post office has not secured a delivery and will credit my account. We'll see. They seem very clever with quick billing, and no product to back it up.

After reading many consumer complaints I realized I had a similar experience. I, too, called for the 30-day free trial of Hydroxatone and was told I would receive a free 30-day trial but would have to pay a small shipping charge of $7.95, which I paid with my debit card. I was told that if I liked the product I would be charged $60+ for it. If not, I would return it at my own expense. Unfortunately I fell for this. To my surprise, I received 3 jars of the product (two shattered), with a bill showing $60.00+ was due each month for three months. I called to inquire about why they sent 3 jars and I was told that was the "norm".

I asked why I wasn't made aware of this when I ordered and no reasonable answer was received. I was then told to mail back the one bottle that was not broken which I did at my expense. I was told that I would have to get a "tracking number" at the time of mailing. Well, the P.O. advised that there was no such thing but I did have to pay a few dollars extra for delivery confirmation that I could confirm on the Internet. At this point and the money it cost me for nothing I did not trust this company and found it necessary to call my Bank and cancel this particular debit card.

I was charged $6.95 to my bank account for an order that has yet to be received. When I called to request for a stop order and refund I was told to call Customer Service, which I had tried several times only to go to voice mail. Gentleman is not a term I would use for Joe 143 since he laughed when I spoke to him in a professional manner. He was especially amused when I mentioned Consumer Affairs. Your website seems to be riddled with the company's scams. Please see what you can do to make sure they do not access my account again and to also refund what has been taken from me.

The same as other comments found on this website, I too called in from a radio advertisement, received the product, to which the free trial policy stated 30 days from the date received. Upon trying to cancel and return the product, I was told (sales rep named Victor) that they were going to charge my card anyway because it was beyond the 30 days. I advised them that I was not keeping any of the products and that I was returning both bottles that they sent me. I also advised that I would dispute any charges made to my credit card as I was revoking any permission implied or otherwise for them to charge my credit card.

At that, I ended the call. I did not realize that I needed an RMA # to return the product and so when preparing the shipping label, I realized that there was only a PO box listed. I again called back to request a physical shipping address as I wanted a signed proof of receipt. I was told curtly (Juan) that I do not need to return it to a physical address and I do not need a signature for it, my postage is my proof of return. I again requested the return address and requested an RMA #. Juan provided a return shipping address of PO Box 9300, Jersey City, New Jersey 07303. Moreover, when I requested the RMA # he started to give it to me and then instead said, "You need to talk to your original sales rep," put me on hold for 5 minutes, and the phone went dead. I called back twice more, was reconnected with Victor, and advised him that I wanted an RMA number and that I was returning both bottles.

Victor gave me the RMA number and I again requested to know if they intended to charge my credit card after I specifically advised them that I do not consent. He advised that they would charge me for one bottle at $59.95 on October 31, 2009. I then advised that I was returning the product and they would have it back on Monday. I also advised him that I was filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs and we ended the call. Within 2 minutes, I received a call back from Victor advising me that he spoke to his supervisor and that they have decided to extend my return date to 11/9/09 and that I would not be charged any additional money to my credit card. This type of trickery by these companies must be reported and stopped. If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The company is charging me for a product that was returned - as advertised. Upon calling to inform them of the return, I was told that they had a record to my return and I was responsible for the payment of $149.70. At that point, I wrote to the company requesting a copy of the transcript to confirming what procedure I was told to use when canceling any further business with Hydroxatone. To date, there has not been a response. However, I continue to receive invoices in the amount of $149.70. I would appreciate the assistance of your office to rectify this unfortunate matter.

I ordered Hydroxatone's product through an ad that was advertized as a 30 day risk free trial mentioned under promotion code ** and ** by calling the number **. I spoke to Mark and he indicated that I would have to pay $42.90 for shipping and that I would have a chance of enrolling in their continued program if I liked the program. I ordered the product for my 74 year old mother that did not have a debit card. I received a letter stating that my debit card would not allow for the payment of their product. I called and spoke to a man indicating that I did not enroll into their program and that I should not be charged for their product. This man told me that I owed for their product because I was required to send their product back to them and that I used their product. I did not open the package as I gave the package to my mother. I was not aware nor did my mother mention that this product had any letter in it indicating such an agreement. I have a copy of their advertisements that my mother gave me. Not anywhere on their advertisement does disclosure say that you have to return this product not to be charged for it. I told this man that I wanted to take this taken care of and that I did not want to be charged for the product. He did not listen to me.

When I called the number that was given to me by the correspondence, I had to wait 5 minutes to even speak to anyone. I am going to send an email to them as well. No one seems to be paying any attention to any communication that I am making. If I and my mother have been taken advantage of, how many more people have been taken advantage of. The bill for this product is $139.90. I have a copy of both advertisements that show the false advertisements.

This company is responsiable for running a scam on unsuspecting consumers with the," We did not recieve the jar trick." They advertise an anti-aging cream which can be used free, for 30 days. I sent the cream back in January of 2008 because I had a negative reaction and was careful to send it back weeks before the 30 day trial was over. I did'nt think to get a confirmation receipt from my post office to confirm that Hydroxatone had indeed recieved the jar. In august I got back a letter from this company saying i was dilequent.

I called them back only to hear that they had not recieved the jar and If I did not have proof from my post office I would have to pay the actual $69.95. I went online to see if anyone had had any similiar problems with this company. Much to my dismay yes!! Same complaints and practices by this company.

I then went to BBB and they also had recieved complaints as well. I have since contacted the local media to make consumers aware of this problem. Please investigate this SCAM! They have said I was delinquent for a product which gave me a reaction on my skin, and can possiably hurt my credit if I do not pay the $69.95 S.O.S
