I ordered a "free" trial of hydroxatone which arrived & caused an allergic reaction to my skin. I phoned the number listed & was told by the person on the other end that if I wished to return the product, I would have to send it to Scotland from New Zealand, i.e., halfway around the world!! Otherwise, "I would be regarded as a thief" if I didn't return or or pay half US$69.99. The sales person was obviously trained to be a smooth talker but got quite nasty when I said I had just googled hydroxatone & seen that more than a few customers were unhappy, & hung up on me.

I applied online to purchase the "Free Sample" with the only charge to be postage. I gave my credit card and goods arrived from USA to me in North Queensland Australia. However, upon reading the small print on the delivery docket it stated that I would be further charged $69.95 via two monthly debits... This was not what I had agreed to. I also had applied for another product to use in conjunction with this Hydroxatone called "Bellaplex". The same thing in the small print when this product arrived. Consequently, I attempted to call the phone numbers listed to no avail. I then wrote an email to both customer support centers. After about 3 days a response came back, advises "My Account" had been closed as per my email request and that my account balance was zero $0)... I was advised to keep the products for my inconvenience and trouble... It is important to note here that I had received TWO full size products in both Hydroxatone AS WELL as the Bellaplex hence the ridiculous amount to be debited of $69.95 x 2 = AUD$139.90 Plus postage in Jan/14 & Feb/14...

I have a legal background and knew this was not an acceptable practice. I have spoken to my bank and BINGO!! They advise me that these two companies are well known in Australia for their " scamming". Now this is really important for all Aussies to understand...once you give your credit card details for the postage to be charged and this has taken place legally, this merchant has not breached the law. It is not until they debit your credit card that you have any legal recourse... Unfortunately Australian Banks have an obligation to honor the international merchants charges...UNLESS of course there has been a fraudulent transaction...which at the onset there has NOT been with the postage charges.

The only way to safely and positively stop this organization proceeding to charge the first installments to your credit card is for you to CANCEL your card. If you are one of the unfortunate to have already had debits placed on your card your bank has a certain procedure to follow... However, be aware that you MUST pay this debit on your card when it falls due for payment!!!!! Short paying this amount you have been charged will still show as an overdue amount on your credit card and will affect your credit rating if not paid.

As a matter of interest I have sourced out that this organisation actually works under THREE business names currently and it really is a case of "Buyer Beware".

Hopefully this is of assistance to anyone in the same situation as myself.....and do not beat yourself up as I am so careful and had almost been caught out. Good luck with all of your claims.

I agreed to try a sample trial for the total amount of $1.99, but at first $7.95 came out of one bank account and then when offered another trial, I agreed but had to use my other Visa debit card. They have taken the $1.99 out of it and also another $142.00 and I have tried contacting them but it keeps saying that the mailbox is unattended so there is really no way I can contact them, even though they sent me an email saying they could not ship my order as they didn't have my details, so I thought good I was safe, but then the money came out of my card and I still can't contact them as the email address is a scam.

My Wife responded online through Facebook for a free trial of Hydroxatone Anti Wrinkle Cream provided we pay $1.99c for the postage to receive the samples. In good faith, we gave our Visa Card details to pay for the $1.99c postage, only to find ourselves charged US$69.95c (AU$72.84c + AU$2.18c foreign currency conversion fee). We regard this behavior as deceptive conduct and as false and misleading advertising by Hydroxatone in that it falsely purported the trial to be free other than $1.99c for postage. We at no time agreed to pay for anything other than postage of the product for trial and have reported it to our Bank for further investigation as a fraudulent Visa transaction. Suggest nobody has anything to do with these people.

My daughter got online and fill the order information about the Hydroxatone products RISK FREE for 30 days, only $1.99 for shipping. She told me about it after she done the online order in couple days after. I called them up that I don’t want the products but he said it's already been seen. So I said I will just send it back and so I won’t get charged. Anyway I still got charged after I talked to them already that I don’t want it.

The customer representative is very rude. He wasn't paying attention about what I was saying that from the beginning I don’t want to receive any products and I don't want to get charged in my credit card. Another MasterC bill came another $74.13 charge again. I called them again that I want a refund. After the explanation he finally said he well give me a refund. I hope he will, but still I research online about this company and it already has too many complaints on Scambook. I hope this will help other people to not get scammed.

I ordered this free trial. I made sure that there was no cost involved except postage; I had ordered these items firstly for my mother (age 84). Please note these items were ordered and before my cancellation of my trial (for myself) and of course before I saw a link to this site. I have given these items to my mother but she is not happy that these are not a trial as stated on the Facebook site and does not want to use them. So please cancel both subscriptions to Burnice **. I am happy to return the items to you (even though it was FALSE Advertising) but as I had to pay for postage, I feel it is only fair that you reimburse me for any postage costs I will incur.

So to that effect I have found out how much it will cost to return the items to USA; if you can reimburse my credit card (which you have the details) of this amount, then I will return the items falsely advertised on Facebook. Should you not cancel both my subscriptions and do indeed take any more money from my credit card, then I have no other option to report you to the relevant authorities in both countries. In Australia, it will be classed as fraud and I will make sure that everyone I know via Facebook will know how your company works and I am sure that they will then pass on all this information to their friends and family.

Please note that I have kept all email correspondence to the company and screen shots of them offering a free trial with the only cost being postage. Since then, they have tried to debit my credit card every two weeks for $69.95. I am unable to upload the images but have them available should you want to have a copy. I am going to cancel my credit card as this seems the only way I cancel the ongoing debit to the card that they process but I am fortunate that this is a debit card and as such I only keep a small amount of money for overseas transactions.

I feel compelled to write this as I've read so many testimonials stating that ordering the free trial of Hydroxatone and Bellaplex is a scam. I have found it to be otherwise. I received samples of Hydroxatone and Bellaplex a week or so ago. I tried the products for the week and decided I didn't want to go ahead with the scheduled shipment of more product and consequent charge to my credit card as the products have caused a patch of dermatitis around my nose area.

I called the customer service number given on the invoice that came with the products and explained to the lady that I did not want to go ahead with the next delivery of product and the reason why. I asked her for the address to return the remaining unused products. She asked me if I knew of anyone who may be interested in sampling the unused product and I said I could pass them onto a friend. She then said to do that and she would give me a 50% discount on the next shipment of products that were scheduled to be sent to me later in the month.

I said I would prefer to just send the products back rather than incur the charge as the products didn't work for me. She then said to pass them onto my friend and not worry about sending them back and that she would cancel and future shipments and charges to my credit card but that I would be charged the $1.99 fee for the shipment of the Hydroxatone sample and $1.99 fee for the shipment of the Bellaplex only. She then said she was sorry that the products didn't work for me and quoted me a cancellation number for Hydroxatone and a cancellation number for Bellaplex. She was very courteous and helpful.

I also received confirmation of the cancellation of any future orders via email. Simple as that. I will repost if my credit card is charged by Hydroxatone/Bellaplex in coming weeks but I doubt it. I have a paper trail of evidence of when I ordered, receipt of the samples and cancellation receipts. It's not a scam at all - just a company trying to drum up business by offering free samples of their products. A very fair deal from where I sit.

They sent me their crap and I thought big deal, $6.00 for crap I don't want and won't use. I didn't feel it was worth the hassle of messing with it to return it. Then I started getting notices in the mail for $139.90, and now the notices say they're about to send it to a collections agency. I understand that it was my fault that I spoke with them and gave them my account number, but I was taken off guard by their cold call. Like others have reported, I responded to an "offer" and found out just how dishonest this company is! On 8/26/13, I spoke to a customer service woman named Helena about returning the product that I had purchased through this trial offer on 6/26/13. She said it was more than 30 days to cancel. In the fine print, they say they will charge you $69.95 at both 30 and 60 days after receipt of the shipment. I was wondering if I had received another shipment and couldn't recall that I had. Helena would talk over me and not let me get a word in. I finally became appropriately angry and told her to let me speak. She kept calling me "Ma'am" which I dislike and I told her to stop calling me that. After her "explaining" their policy (which she didn't explain) she kept reiterating that I had to pay the second payment for the products I received from them.

In the OFFER TERMS, it says that "I can call customer service at 1-800-672-2259 at any time to cancel." Helena kept saying I didn't cancel the trial within 30 days, etc. I stated that I wanted the address to their company. She told me to hold on and would speak to her supervisor. She came back and tried to sales talk me again avoiding giving me the address. I then said I wanted to speak to the supervisor. So she had me hold on again and came back without a supervisor and said I would now be able to have the products "for 50% off" so I wouldn't have to pay the upcoming 2nd payment of $69.95. I agreed to that just so that I wouldn't get a second charge for $69.95 plus the $8.55.

So essentially, I was charged $69.95 plus S/H, $ $7.95 for (2) 1 oz. Hydroxatone [The 3 oz. of Celtrixia (look at this phonetically: Sell-tricks-to ya) was the "Hydroxatone Mystery Gift."] They think this product is worth 2 times that?!? Absolutely ridiculous. What makes matters worse is that this company is tied into the "get a Free Mini iPad" program. Maybe you end up with the product but not until you have spent more than what it would have cost to buy the iPad. This mini iPad program makes it so you can't cancel before 30 days or you will not get a "completed" offer toward the iPad. You have to have so many completed offers. So, yep, I got scammed.

I hope this helps at least one other person not get caught up in getting something you think will be free when ultimately it's not. I wonder how many pissed off people there are that get the Mini I Pad. When I read other reviews about continued charges I called my bank. I had to cancel the credit card to not have any charges made on the card. I also had this problem with another company on the "free Mini iPad" program. What an inconvenience and headache!

Last night after filling in a questionnaire from Reader's Digest that I trusted & have dealt with for years, I was told I had a prize as a thank you. It came up with this free trial for Hydroxatone. I don't even use wrinkle creams but thought maybe I could pass them on. It cost $1.99 for P&P which I thought was reasonable. I so wish I had googled it first! I didn't realize it was an American company so postage is higher with the exchange rate for one, but after filling in my credit card details, it came up I had ordered $139 worth of products, which I didn't know I had! I tried contacting them with reply emails to cancel the order, but all I got was an email saying the product had been shipped already!! I cancelled my credit card this morning so they can't charge me the full amount. They had already charged P&P though. The man I spoke to at the bank googled it & told me there were many others caught out like me! If anyone else fills in questionnaires & thinks the prize is free, don't go for it. It will be a costly mistake to make!

Having been very worried after reading all of these reviews, I decided to ring up straight away and cancel. I spoke to an American man who was quite nice, he asked my name, etc., had all my details then asked what I wanted, to which I just said I was not happy with the products as they caused me some irritation, and I wished to cancel my free trial. He got a little annoyed at this and said I only used it once, so really could not know, to which I said I had actually tried 3 times and was not happy with it. I was put on hold for about 2 minutes, and was told my orders were cancelled and I could keep the products to say thank you for trying them, or give them to a loved one to try as it would cost too much in shipping and taxes to return back.

I then asked for a receipt number for this phone call and I also asked if this included cancellation of the free trial of bellaplex as well, which he said it did. I also got a receipt for the cancellation of this as well. I am happy I have dealt with this now, and hope this is the end of it. Will be talking to my bank also, and maybe Telstra, as this was my FREE GIFT for taking part in a survey. Anyway I hopefully have fixed this, although I must say it does seem a bit too easy.

I purchased Hydroxatone cream and Luminique 90 second wrinkle cream online, it was under the free trial. I understood (as I read the fine print) that I would be charged in full for the products (unless I was not satisfied and I applied for a refund) and then I would be charged again every 3 months and sent a refill of the products. The Hydroxatone was about $80 and I opted for some extras (inc Luminique) which came to about $139. I was told on Facebook that Hydroxatone worked best when used with Luminique. After I bought them I went online and saw all the scam websites against the company. I was so worried so I tried to phone the company but could not get through. I called my credit card company that night and put a block on my card (after they had charged me the $139).

I understood that most people were complaining online because they got charged the full fee to their credit card when they thought it was a free trial. This calmed me down a bit as I think this is very naive, nothing is free. I myself had read the fine print and understood I would be charged unless I change my mind. I do not work for this company. I am 30 years old, I’m a legal secretary living in Australia. I am writing this review to share my experience with this company to hopefully calm anyone down who may have just signed up to the free trial with the company (however I note I may have just been one of the lucky ones). Anyway I got tied up with a few things so forgot to follow the company up again, then a week later my Hydroxatone arrived and the Luminique arrived the day after that (I threw out the packaging but I recall they appeared to come from the same address - but were sent separately). Both packages came with the extra toner which was offered to me as a bonus for signing up for both products.

I then went online again and read some more reviews where I read that the product had burnt people's skin and even after cancelling the trial people had been charged numerous times to their credit card. I also came across the site dedicated to the lawsuit against the company. So I then called Hydroxatone again (quite worried at this stage). I got straight through to someone this time. I gave him my order number which was emailed to me previously. He found my account and I told him the items had arrived "but my financial situation had changed" so I wanted to cancel any future products. He did that for me and then said he would refund me $139 within the next 5 days. I said I only wanted to cancel any future orders, I was going to keep the products he sent me, so how come I was getting a refund? He said it was because I’d cancelled it within the 30 day period.

I also asked if I had to cancel the Luminique trial as I noticed they had a different phone number on their email, and the products did arrive separately. He advised I didn't have to and that he had cancelled both subscriptions for me. I was still a bit worried about what I had read so I kept a close eye on the credit card statements. Within 2 days the refund of the $139 had gone into my account. The only thing I had been charged was a $1.99 trial fee plus $4.20 x 2 which was an overseas processing fee when the amount came out of my account and then when it got refunded back to me. I also never had to sent the products back (unlike other stories I had read online). I have tested the products on my arm and did not get a rash. I also looked up the ingredients online and they all appear to be safe (that is if what they put in the bottles are what they write on the bottles).

I'm not a scientist but what I read said that the Luminique mostly contained ingredients found in sunscreens, and the Hydroxatone 90 second cream appeared safe but some people may have have an irritation if the product gets in their eye and they are sensitive to one of the ingredients (butylene glycol). The 90 second wrinkle reducer does say on the box that it's only a temporary fix and it also came with written instructions. After the refund got processed I cancelled my card and got a new one issued just to be safe however I’m wondering if I have just stressed out over nothing. My experience is nothing like what I am reading online so I wonder what percentage of complaints about this company are merely about the amount they charge you as people are not reading the fine print properly and are assuming they will only be charged $1.99 for the trial (which I think is their own fault).

However, what percentage of complaints were ones where the client was told they had to return the product to get the refund but were then told the product never arrived back to the company? (From reading the reviews it looks like you have to send it back in a new envelope and pay for the postage, not mark "return to sender" as it will never arrive back, but it looks like people were sending the products back "return to sender"). Has the company changed their policies and is this why I didn't have to return anything to get a refund? What percentage of clients were in Australia like me? Maybe the service is worse in different countries? Or was I simply one of the lucky ones? If this is the case it's unfortunate that other people have lost their money.

All in all I am satisfied with the service I got. The packaging the products came in looks pretty dodgy but I think I will still trial them on my face and see how they work. I am glad I only ended up paying $10 for the products, but am a bit regretful of the stress that was caused from what I had read online and now my reluctance to actually try the product out on my face.

I had done this with several co.'s and my bill was quite large, it was at this point that I realized what a scam this free trial was. When I let them use my card it was with the understanding that the only thing to be charged was shipping and handling and nothing else. No one told me anything about monthly charges and shipments. I immediately contacted them to cancel the order and stop the charges and shipments. I also returned all of their products, which they now say they rec'd however they will not issue any refunds, because I TOOK OVER 39 DAYS TO RETURN THEM (WHICH I DID NOT!) but I can not prove it because I did not get postal receipts for these packages.

Nice con for unsuspecting customers, it seems they all have one dumb reason or another to refuse to issue refunds. These co's are not forthcoming with the real way their co's work or what you're getting into until it's too late to save your bank acct. I misread the terms, etc. I rang today to cancel (I believe unless I opted in I would and get the payment refunded back to my account) and with having to put on a lot of pressure over the phone to the person I was talking to, they agreed to refund the first payment and cancel the second one due out in a few days. I'm promised a refund back to my account within 5-10 working days. I'm on the phone to the bank now to alert them of this scam. The money should only be reversed as it is on hold until they claim it. Obviously they do not know the correct process. After a Google search, I found this site and signed up. I'm talking with the credit card team to get this payment stopped. Why do companies have to be so deceitful?

I never even ordered Hydroxatone. I got a phone call to ask if I ordered. I said that I had never even heard of it. One week later, two jars showed up. Invoice said they would charge my Visa card. I said, "You don't have my number." They said, "Yes, we do." I said, "Not from me." I requested the last four numbers from the card and the bank or company that issued the card. They said they were not authorized to give that information. I returned the product and cancelled my Visa cards. I also reported the issue to the local law enforcement. I sent an email to them and got an auto acknowledge, but no response. I'm just waiting to see what happens next.

Now that made me stop in my tracks and thought I'm going to type into Google if this product is a scam. Bang, look where I am. I just hope others reading them will notice what I noticed. Even the exact same exclamation and question marks looked very dodgy. Sad but true. We are all wanting that quick fix to look younger, but at what cost I ask? I called today to get the return address and got a very rude and patronising Shelley, who told me the order had already been cancelled. This was not correct. I was billed for 2 lots of Bellaplex and one of Hydroxatone. It was the additional Bellaplex that I cancelled before I even received the trial products. The staff are clearly taught deferment tactics. I wish I had come across this before I ordered; I have learned my lesson. I will not be surprised if this appears on my credit card, but plan to advise the bank ahead of the billing date in an effort to avoid this. I will invest my money on local skin care products.

I ordered the face wrinkle cream and they had told me if I paid upfront the $139.90 plus shipping, I would get a third jar for free. So I wanted to try it. I ordered it and it came in time. I used it for a while and it did nothing, but made my face softer. After a while though, a certain part of my face was breaking out a bit. I figured it was because I was not using the right amount, so I tried a different amount. Still no difference. I cancelled it and asked if they wanted to send it back. They said, "No, keep it. We will cancel your future orders." The next month, I was charged $139.90 out of my account. I called them and told them about it. They said I never cancelled, so I told them again someone made a mistake. They cancelled it again and refunded my money.

They were still calling me every week or so to try to sell me more products. I told them no each time. I told them to make a note in their computer to not call please. So now months later, I looked on my account to see another charge for the same price from this company after I had thought the matter was resolved. It almost gave me an overdraft fee from my bank. Thank God I caught it in time, so I called them that instant. The lady told me that I had ordered more of their product a month ago. I never did, so someone must have been ordering it for me without my consent. I told the lady again if they do not refund my money asap, I would be calling the Better Business Bureau if matters were not solved.

I will call my bank also to try to put a stop to them being able to charge my card. If they can't, I will close my card and get a new one issued. This is a serious problem with their customer service. Issues that they need to resolve. It's too bad that they can't correct their problem. I would not recommend ordering from them.

In 1 of the shipments that came, there was a return label that said clearly that I had a total of 45 days to return it for a full refund and that my account would be credited within 5 business days of receiving the return. Less than 30 days of the trial, I was charged $209.85 plus the cost of shipping to my credit card. I ordered the products January 6, 2013. I called them to tell them I didn't like the products on February 4, 2013. I was given a return number. They received the return on February 14 and refuse to refund the money. I have called the numbers that I have found in this correspondence (the originally provided number didn't work) so I have been told that my order was already sent to me and I should wait until I get it. I have decided immediately to cancel my AmEx card to prevent possible charges.

Two weeks ago, I received notification from postal office requesting me to pay $28 for receiving my package so I decided not to receive it at all. Simultaneously, my cancelled AmEx account was charged twice for $69.95. We were trying to discuss the issues with AmEx, but they explained that the type of agreement we have with this company allows them to charge us until we cancel it officially. Like everyone at this site, I called the company and finally was able to reach a salesperson, who told me that to stop sending me this product in the future, I have to pay them $141 more. But he will make me a special favor and I will pay only $69.95 to close my account. That same day, my AmEx account was charged for another CAD $71.96.

To be honest, I was ready to do that to stop that scam. At the same time, I sent an email to that company explaining the situation and urging to start legal actions against them. As a surprise, I received all my money back. I do not know if I was just lucky. Now, I'm checking my account daily to make sure that they are not charging me again. It is very scary, how we easily provide information to strangers and how they can use it for their benefits. For Hydroxatone and Bellaplex, I can tell that it should be some coordination between their customer service representatives. I still have a feeling that there is something going on there. But I appreciate that they've returned my money. All of us, customers, should be smarter not to fall into those types of scam companies again.

I have printed off so many complaints from clients about these 2 products - Bellaflex and Hydroxatone and will take this matter to both the media and the Consumer Affairs Department in Australia. According to their (Bellaflex and Hydroxatone) policy, members can cancel their "Beauty Program" at any time. The problem is that members cannot contact a customer support staff member or anyone for that matter to cancel their membership and cease future transactions. This makes me so angry, to be so blatantly fleeced and these two companies are getting away with it and no one is protecting the vulnerable consumers.

Gosh, I am in Australia and they called. I will never enter any details on any free trial websites ever again. That's scary. I can only hope that they don't retain my details or do anything further with it.

I have since sent the product (two bottles) back and had a reference number. To this day, they have tried three times to get another CAD72 out of my account even with this all cancelled. I'm glad I have a pay-as-you-go credit card which I will have to get deleted from their crap and start over with a new one. Well, I asked about the returning the product several times and he kept telling me I did not have to return anything. I agreed and gave him my credit card # (really should have known better). Then, he asked me to listen to this recording about the product and it was stated on this recording that if you did cancel, you were to return the product. Evidently, he was listening too because when I interrupted the recording and said, "You told me I did not have to return the product," he said, "Ma'am, you do not have to return anything." He was getting frustrated at this point. I said to him, "Let me speak to someone I can understand." So, another man came on the line and told me the same thing. When I asked about returning the product, he told me I did not have to return anything, "just cancel within 30 days."

I told them not to take any money out of my account, not to send me anything and to delete my card info. When I contacted Hydroxatone and told the lady about this, they said that they had a lot of complaints about this false info and they were sorry for the inconvenience and then they said they would send me a return label for $6.95. I told them I didn't feel I should have to pay for a return. Guess what? They don't care! I told them I would contact the BBB.

I called and spoke with Quenten ** and told him I called a couple of months ago and the charges were to be taken off because I had returned the product. He said no because they never received it back. Since this is a 3-month ordeal concerning $140, I got upset and raised my voice telling him I wasn't paying for something I didn't have.

He had no professional consideration or understanding for what I have been dealing with and proceeded to tell me not to yell at him (I could have shown him the difference-didn't). I asked to speak with a supervisor. He told me there were no any supervisors. I said sure, because call centers always leave their employees unsupervised. I then told him that was fine and I would just report them to NJ Consumer Affairs, which is what I am doing right now. All attempts at resolutions have failed. In conclusion, do not purchase this product and deal with this company unless you: (1) Plan to purchase their products at a store (like Sephora or etc.) that has no access, and I mean no access to your bank account and; (2) if you're desperate to get the free trial and can't afford to buy the product from a retail store, use a prepaid debit card that only has enough money for the free trial cost.

I returned the product one week after I placed an order simply because I realized that I couldn't afford this and I could buy a cheaper gift. By the way, I am a broke college student. Around 2-3 weeks later, I deposited enough money in my bank account to pay my bill the next day and noticed that I was charged $69.95 on the same day that those funds were available in my account. Since they charged my account, I could not pay for my bill and was highly **!

I called again and complained to the rep and he said that he would refund me the money again and I would get it in 3 to 5 business days. I also told him about the overdraft fee, but he said that Hydroxatone was not liable for that. Hydroxatone is a money sucking company. My 78 year old mother called for the trial product and the free gift advertised on the TV. She got into an evil automated phone path that she did not comprehend. She ended up in a monthly program of Hydrolyze cream, a monthly beauty advisor service, and a monthly membership in Budget Savers. Budget Savers is a more reputable company and did refund her money. She also ended up in a monthly program for Beauty Advisors. She did not want this. They did not refund any of the small charges for a service my mom did not want or use.

I thought I cancelled the whole program when I called the company number on her credit card statement. But they still charged for and sent pots of expensive creams. They claim I only cancelled the Beauty Advisor service. Because of the deceiving tactics of the Hydroxatone company and the small print, my mom has paid the company $155.80 for two pots of Hydrolyze cream and one free gift she actually received. I did have to return two pots of cream at my expense to prevent further charges to her credit card. Buyers, beware with this company!

I went down to the local post office and they said they had no record of receiving any packages for my address in my name. This could only mean my product was sent to another home. I read through the trial terms carefully and knew that either they likely sent it to another address. I emailed Hydroxatone several times with no response. I then called Hydroxatone and was hung up on twice when I asked what I could do since the only way to cancel is to send the jars back but how can I send them back when I got nothing??

I finally got an email saying that there was no error and I received the jars. I know of some scams where sites will send products to friends in other states and as long as that friend has the same zip code as you, the tracking will say you received it, and they have leverage over you that you owe them money. Nope, I've got the post office on my side. I told them I wanted any kind of proof they had that the tracking number. No response. Finally, I got an email saying that I owed over $100 for the jars. Not happening. I emailed them back stating yet again that I never got it and they said they would refund the shipping and handling and not charge my card. When I went to Hydroxatone's website to cancel auto-ship myself, it still said I owed over $100, but no charges have been made. To take precautions I am working with my bank to make sure no charges from Hydroxatone are authorized. So far nothing and I'm glad. This Hydroxatone wrinkle cream free sample with $1.99 shipping, risk free and can be canceled within a certain time frame... is a scam.

I ordered the samples (and should have known better, I know) on February 9, 2011. I got the samples and right away reacted badly and couldn't use them. On February 22, 2011, I contacted them and canceled any further participation in their plans to send me future shipments (automatically every 60 days at around $70 a pop). End of story, right?

Wrong. Yesterday I opened what I assumed was junk mail from something called "Urban Nutrition". I had gotten these mailings before but always chunked them unopened as junk mail. Never heard of this group and wasn't interested. Well, when I finally opened one yesterday out of idle curiosity, it was a "past due notice" with a bill for $139.90 for Hydroxatone.

I have gone online to find out what I could and found out I'm not the only one caught in this scam. I am fortunate that I did not use my usual debit card. I used the small remaining balance in a gift card. Other people have had their bank accounts charged repeatedly despite numerous attempts on these people's parts to stop this.

I don't know what to do. Frankly I am afraid of this showing up on mine and my husband’s credit history. But I do not want to reward these people’s unscrupulous practice by paying this "bill". And besides, I can't afford to.

After 30 minutes on the phone, I finally hung up on him without getting a return number which I had to have in order to return it. I called back and said it was causing me eye irritation so they finally gave me a return number. The product was returned in June.

On August, I looked at my bank account, only to find that in two days they had charged me $59.95 twice, one on August 15 and one on August 16. I called on Monday, August 16th to ask what the heck they were doing and I was told, "We didn't charge your account anything. Call your bank." I said, "Yes, I have it right here in front of me." Finally, a supervisor told the agent that my account was accidently charged. Over the weekend they had a "clich" in their system and everyone affected was supposed to have been called. So, they said they would reimburse me but it would take two days.

I was now going to overdraw my account, so I had to borrow against a revolving account but was charged $30.00 to do so. Four days later, only one charge of $59.95 was credited. This face cream is frequently advertised on television late at night. The ad states "free 30 day trial". It took me many times of watching this commercial before I finally decided to order it. My thought was, what do I have to lose, it's a free trial. If I did not like it, I could return it and owe nothing. My hope was that the product would be as good as they claim in their commercial.

After all they claim it is so good that they "gave it away in free gift bags at the Emmy awards". So I ordered it and tried it for 2 weeks. Immediately I noticed that after using it my skin still felt so dry that I had to use an additional face cream by Neutrogena on top of the Hydroxatone. So within the 30 days, I called to cancel any future orders and let them know that I would be returning the unused portion.

Two things happened that made absolutely no sense of any kind. In that very conversation, I was told (1) that there was no need to return the unused product and (2) that I owed them $209.00 - for a free trial? Because of the later, I did return the unused product. I have been billed multiple times for $69.94! For what, trying the jar of Hydroxatone that was to be a free trial?

Initially they did tell me I would have to pay shipping which was $7.95. I did not dispute that single charge although that amount was billed twice! When I phoned the company to clear up this problem, I spoke to a gentleman who was quite rude and very sarcastic! He actually stated to me "nothing in life is free".

What? The word free is used over and over again in their commercials both for their face cream and eye cream! They claim that they did not receive the unused portion and would not remove the charges. To add insult to injury, the Hydroxatone had the audacity to mail me even more of the product that I did not want, did not order and have no intention of paying for.

I immediately went to the post office and returned it, with the invoice (I copied it first) and mailed it back by certified mail. I called Hydroxatone again. They did not apologize, was again rude but stated that out of courtesy they would credit my card for $69.94. They did. However they turned around and charged me for it again. And they charged me $7.95 for shipping.

I had already filed a dispute with the company for the very first charge of $69.94. But again, I had to call my credit company and dispute more charges which continue to pile up. While on the phone with my company, they called Hydroxatone and we had a three way call. This time a woman claimed I had not returned anything and unless I could provide proof that I returned the product, they would not reverse the charges.

After 35 minutes of arguing with the Hydroxatone rep. and while my credit card company was on the phone, the rep. from Hydroxatone told several lies: (1) That they never received the unused portion. (2) That I spoke with a woman the day I called to cancel the free trial (remember here, I had only spoken with the sarcastic man who told me nothing in life was free). (3) That this mystery, non-existent woman had offered me a discount on more products (does this even make sense?).

After my rep from the credit card company tried to intervene on my part, the Hydroxatone woman agreed to credit back $105 - after billing me $69.94 on 4 occasions and $7.95 twice. I am also out the cost of returning the products by certified receipts. This company lies, and steals. I am not a wealthy person and will not tolerate thievery!

I cannot begin to calculate the huge amounts of money that they are stealing from consumers on a daily basis. And if the officials of the Emmy Awards are wise, they will take legal action to have their name removed from Hydroxatone commercials!

I have a chronic illness that is exasperated by stress. Hydroxatone has caused me a great deal of stress on multiple occasions! The result is pain - serious pain which is enough to have caused extra visits to the emergency room at my local hospital. So, add that in and I'm out a thousand!

For a free trial offer claiming that if I didn't like the product; I would only be out the cost of shipping, I feel sorry for them. Evidently what comes around goes around and sadly, though beyond my control, they will reap that which they have sown! From what I am reading on line, I am just one of the many, many victims. Thank you for providing this avenue to vent my frustration over all of this mess.

Our Letter to the BBB explains it all: This was a "free" offer. They tried to bill us $200. We immediately returned the package. Three months later, we received a letter in the mail that we owed them the money. We called them and they said that we needed proof that we sent it back. First, we spoke to Manny at ext. **, then a person that would not give a name or extension number, and then Jeanne at ext. 611 to tell them that now we see it is a scam. Jeanne was so proud to tell me that they were BBB accredited (with the highest accreditation). Well, while I was on the phone, I was searching your website. The addresses you have for Hydroxatone, LLC matches exactly. And when I told her I could not find an "accredited" business, she told me it was under Hydroxatone/Urban Nutrician which I could not find at all. When I mentioned I was not going to pay and I would take it to the next level, all of a sudden she would close the account and dismiss the $200 that we supposedly owed. I thanked her, told her my findings, and hung up. This company is a scam! And they are using your name for a reference!

I asked to return them since they have not been used and the customer service rep told me I can return three but not the others as I had them since December 2010. Where does it say that in their promotion? All I can say is what a scam. I told him i thought you said it was good for three years and I never agreed to this. What a scam.

The reason for my complaint is simply awareness. Do not give your credit card information to the representatives you encounter. This company states that they can't see your credit card info and that it is safely guarded. That is a lie. There are representatives with major criminal felonies who have full access to your personal info. This is a serious issue and needs to go public. After filling out my personal information on the hydroxatone website (to get a free jar), I realized that this was a trial, and that I would be receiving additional jars of cream and be charged accordingly. So I clicked off the site and said, "no way". A few days later, I received a phone call from the company stating that I didn't complete my order, and after a very long high pressure conversation, I agreed to try the product even if it's against my better judgment. Since then, I have been receiving phone calls from an unknown number. After answering, I was thanked for ordering hydroxatone and was offered "free gasoline vouchers" for only $1.00!

Then the representative quickly goes through his speech and I heard the familiar, "if you like this, we will continue to send your vouchers and charge your account $29.95/month, you can call and cancel at any time". I had to repeatedly say “no”! He then promptly hung up on me. Please know that hydroxatone is affiliated with 2 other companies and they all share your personal and financial information. After that phone call, I found this website and have discovered all of the terrible complaints and charges related to this company. I have just called my bank and canceled my debit card to prevent them from charging my account any further. So far, I only have the $1.95 shipping to account for. As soon as my product arrives, I am shipping it back. I want no part of this hassle. I consider this a lesson learned. In the future, I will research anything that I purchase online before I buy it!

I called for a free trial of instant effect wrinkle filler, as advertised on a TV commercial. The telephone call was answered by an automated service. After taking my name and address, it explained that I would get a free trial of the product and all that was asked is that I pay the shipping fee of $7.95. It asked me to say yes or no. I said yes. Then it proceeded to make another of AM/PM creams and I said no; but it continued with offer of 3 mos. at the price of one.... etc, onto a magazine offer.

The next day my account was charged $51.00 instead of $7.95. When I called the number given by the automated line, the customer service rep explained that it was for the AM/PM cream and the order had already been shipped. I explained that I never said yes to those offers, and I only wanted the free trial. I asked how I could get my money back for something I didn't agree to. He told me I was being very rude and it was too early in the morning to be so talking so loudly on the phone. Eventually, he agreed to refund my account $39.95, money to appear 3 to 5 days. I asked him what I should do with the AM/PM cream when it arrived. He said I could write return to sender when the package arrived, and they would refund the rest of the $11.00 or "I could do what I want."

The package came the next day, and the $39.95 was refunded to my account the following day. I decided that my original intention was to try the wrinkle filler, so I opened the box. The product works good, and I decided I wanted to find out how I could order it on a regular basis and how I could return the 3 AM/PM creams since I didn't pay them. I wanted to make it right with the company and become a customer.

That same day, two charges for $1.50 each appeared on my account from Hydroxatone for an advisor fee. Not really worrying about that, I called the company. I first gave the customer rep my account number, name, etc. She asked why I was calling. I briefly explained I had called a couple of days ago and money had been refunded to me and now I wanted to know how I could send the creams back.

The conversation went downhill quickly from there. She told me she didn't know what I wanted. The company was letting me have over $200 worth of product for free since I had opened the package. I told her I just wanted to return everything, except for the trial of instant effect wrinkle filler. She told me the commercial was for AM/PM cream, and I should have known that was what I was getting. I told her the commercial absolutely was not about AM/PM cream. She told me I needed a reality check and that my account was closed and the company did not need customers like me. She accused me of interrupting her and told me my problem with the first customer rep was probably because of the same. So I let her talk more.

When she stopped I asked her if I could say something; she said yes, but she didn't know what I could have to say. I told her my reason for calling was that I like the product and wanted to order more. I didn't want to keep something I didn't pay for, and all I wanted was an address to return the product (none of the packaging states an address). She said the company had returned $39.95 and my account was closed. I asked her then why, if my account was closed after returning the $39.95, they charged my account with two charges of $1.50?

She was quiet for a moment and said the company returned my money and now I wanted to complain about $1.50. I told her to give the address of where to send the creams back, because even though I like the wrinkle filler, I didn't want to do business with a company that hired jerks like her. She put me on hold and returned with a mailing address.

I believe their ploy is to be slightly deceiving with their free offers--send & charge customers with products and then try to intimidate into paying for them. I think they try to play hardball to get as much money out of a person as they can.

    Buyers beware.

My daughter ordered this last week and immediately cancelled the next morning. She was told 'you won't be charged' and don't worry. The product arrived today, a quick check revealed that yes, her account was charged $158 yesterday plus two point of sale fees totaling $3.00 (Not on Invoice). We begin seeking restitution tomorrow, ho hum. I am actually considering her a lucky person if this is all she has to suffer to learn this important life lesson.

    On another note:

Incredibly, this company actually seems to have someone 'policing' sites like this one for these types of complaints. Apparently this person then proceeds to 'quasi-intelligently' rebuke all of the naysayers. Wow! Really, how do they sleep at night? I guess on beds of money. Not everyone in America is fool.

Fact1: The three such posts on this page are from men. The rest of the post mostly from women except for those ordering for a female relation.

FACT2: All three rebukes are from NY or NJ. Coincidentally, the BBB reports the address as: Andrew S. in Jersey City, NJ

FACT3: Notice how the tone of these three statements sounds like the same exact thing, is phrased in the exact same condescending way, and only talks about how you shouldn't expect anything for free. This guy or guys never mention how close to 60 different people have the same complaints about returns, weird bank charges and horrible customer service.

FACT4: Here are the three entries, judge for yourself:
Leo of Jersey City, NJ Nov. 16, 2010
Jimmy of New York, NY Oct. 20, 2010

Bart of Linden, NJ Oct 9, 2010

FACT5: After checking the BBB, I was astonished to see they gave them an 'A’ even though out of 718 complaints, most were apparently addressed by Mr. S to the satisfaction of the BBB, but not the consumer.

I know it sounds like a cliche, but it’s very true: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I had been seeing for some time an ad for some wrinkle cream. I put off buying it because I thought it was a scam, but the ad eventually got to me and I thought "Free trial...just pay for shipping. Okay." I ordered with my credit card and got the package. Soon after I was noticing after I got off work several phone calls from an unknown number. About 3 to 4 times a day. I would try to call the number back to no avail.

Finally I got a call from that number while I was out to dinner and it was this company. I told them that their constant calling was annoying and I wanted to be taken off their mailing list. The product had done nothing for me. I was hung up on. I went on vacation last week and when I got back I had a package from the company with two more jars and some other creme and a bill for $141.00.

I called them immediately and asked them what was going on. I wanted them to take back their product and never contact me again. Then they told me that what I thought was a free trial jar—it was not. This had to be sent back too. I will send it back, but the man on the phone and the commercials and ads I have seen seem to clearly state they are giving you a "free" jar if you pay the shipping.

As I said, I am sending all back, which will cost me more now. After reading other sites about this, I have learned that so many other people have had the same experience. Some ended up having to pay a whole lot of money because they claim after you send it back to them, they never receive it and threaten to put it on your credit if you don't pay. This is outrageous behavior. I don't know how, with all the complaints I have read online, this company can still pedal this product and not be sued. Or given some form of a fine. This can not possibly be legal. I am definitely keeping my receipt after mailing this back now that I have read what they are going to try and pull next.

I'm not sure what the future holds for the credit card number I have given them. I will have to have my credit card changed. I am out of pocket money to send back what was supposed to be free. I am going to have to take time off to go stand in line at the post office to send it back. Their constant calls were harassing. The person I talked to was rude. This whole thing has made me quite distraught. I will say I've learned a lesson. Nothing is for free. But then I suppose I already knew this.

Please do something to put a stop to this before more innocent people get taken. Thank you.

I can't believe the lack of common sense people have when complaining about a product or service. If they listen (that's the keyword, listen!) to the advertisement you will never hear the word sample (why would anyone pay for the shipping cost for a sample anyway? It's a free trial to try a product before paying for it.) The reason some people think it's a scam is because they don't listen to the terms and conditions when ordering and they don't read the invoices when they receive the products.

You have a full 30 days to try the product before paying for it. It's that simple! If anyone decides a product is not for them, they can simply return the used and unused products. That's exactly what I did. It's not rocket science. But it appears difficult for some people because as I read the comments and I can't believe how ignorant they are. Do they actually think products are free in the United States of America? Nothing is free besides the air you breathe.

The people who are screaming it's a scam are the ones that expect to receive products without paying for it. It's basically online shoplifting and these people should be ashamed of themselves. The bottom line is if people listen and/or read carefully they should fully understand what they are getting into. If people can't read, listen or understand then they should not order anything at all!

Okay, you people really need a reality check. The deal is a free trail which is what you all received. It's not a free sample. It never says it's a free sample. It is a trial. A trial is a period of time. You pay shipping and handling up front and get to use the product for 30 days. If you keep the treatment passed the allotted time, that's when you get billed for it. The reason you receive a 60 or 90-day treatment is because that's when the maximized results come. The reason only 30 days is allotted is because that's how long it takes to see the beginnings of results and the customers are given a chance to try it and see the results before they decide whether or not to buy it. You can send it back after it is used and not pay for it as long as you call within the 30 days. That's the deal

This is the only company in the world that will allow you to use a product and if you don't want to be charged for it, you don't have to. All you have to do is play by the rules. Do you people honestly think you can keep hundreds of dollars worth of product with proven clinical results for free. What are you all wacked out on goofballs?

The reason you people think it's a scam is because you don't listen to the directions and half of you don't read your invoices. You have 30 days to try the product. It's never advertised as a sample. It's only ever advertised as a free trial, which is what it is.

Inside the envelope was not a sample but a two-month supply of the product. Also, a note that they had billed my AMEX card for $77.90. I have called them and advised them that I am sending the product back tomorrow. I have called AMEX and advised them that I do not want any other charges by this company on my card. I want my refund. I will never order anything else off the TV again. Times are hard and the economy is falling rapidly. The person that called me on the phone pressured me and was rude. It was a man and I repeatedly told him that I did not want the product.

When I called and talked to Jamal, he told me that there was still going to be $69 taken out on October 28th. I explained the situation. My mother draws mental disability and is on a fixed income and is sometimes unable to tell you what day it is or who she is. He told me that all he could do was waive the October payment. I asked about getting the rest of her money back and he said I would have to talk to a supervisor. He is supposed to call me back within the next 24-48 hours. Jamal was rude and arrogant. I ordered this product for my mother and it is ridiculous. First, I was on the phone for 25 minutes with a ton of other offers that I didn't want on an automated system, and by the end of the conversation, I was extremely frustrated. After getting the product (and spending 8 bucks to get it), it didn't work. So, my mother called back and they said that would be that. She works at a bank, and after the call, immediately closed her old account and opened a different one. After this, they sent tons of mail saying we owed $160 bucks for a month of the new hydroxatone. We ignored it because we had received no product. Finally, I had to call because I received a threatening letter saying I would be reported to a "bad credit office" and finally a "third party collections agency", over $160 for a product I didn't get. Upon calling, everyone I spoke to was rude, threatening and gave me no answers to my questions about the "collection agency". Do not trust this company! I was never informed of that decision and would have never paid $69 for a product that does not work. There are quite few complaints against this product and their customer service only states what they said the person indicated over the phone. It was not true. This is pretty much the same story that I am hearing from everyone else. I was told that mine was a ‘Try one for the shipping cost, and receive one free’. When I received mine, the reason that I decided that I didn't want it was because of the advertisement of ‘try one and get one’. When my product came in, there was a bill with it of how much would be owed if it wasn't cancelled in 30 days. The bill stated that the amount was $96.00 but one jar only costs $42.00 so they weren't giving me anything free because I had already paid for the shipping and handling so my free one wasn't free. Also, I dealt with the same thing as far as trying to get an RMA number. They wouldn't ever send me one and I couldn't get anyone on the phone once I chose the option of canceling the product.

So, I called my bank and told them what was going on and I showed them where I had sent multiple emails canceling this product and I told them how I couldn't get anyone to answer the line once they saw that I was choosing to cancel the product. I did all of this because they would not give me an RMA number to return it so after showing the bank my information, I closed the credit card that I had ordered this on and got a new card number because I knew they were going to charge my card the $96.00 without letting me cancel so I stopped it before they could charge my account.

Just some helpful information if you are in this situation because usually the bank or credit card number can be changed for only about $5.00 which is a lot better than the almost $100.00 that they were planning on charging my account. I got sick of asking for an RMA number and nobody giving me one or canceling the account. None because I cancelled the card that they were planning on charging but had I not cancelled it, they were planning on charging it almost $100.00 because they would not give me an RMA number nor would they cancel the account.

I, too, am a victim to this ridiculous scam. My experience was common to the complaints I am reading. I called to take advantage of the "free" offer; paid $12 "shipping and handling fee". I specifically refused the offer for auto shipments twice during the conversation I had with a woman (I had responded to a late night advertisement). The exorbitant price they later charged me was not mentioned at all. To my dismay, when I received the "free 30-day trial package, there were three jars instead of one. I used the product which did not work (I have some hydroxy cream from the dollar store that works better). Before I could return the unused product I received another three jars! Digging through all the papers that were enclosed in the original box I found a paper, in small print stating that on three separate dates they deducted $69.95 from my bank account.

Granted, I should keep better track of my banking transactions. However, I had only authorized $12.00 not over $200 to be deducted from my account. When I called the company, the rep was very rude when I indicated my dissatisfaction with the price, product, and the fact that I had been sent unwanted product. I told the man I spoke to that I would be returning five of the jars unopened and wanted my account credited. He was very rude and said I could only return the three I had just received and I would not get a refund for the other two because 30 days had passed. I explained I had only wanted the one free trial but had been sent too many. I was told I could sent all five back but would not receive a refund of the unauthorized monies taken from my bank account. I asked to speak to a supervisor.

The man informed me one was not available until the next day and they would call me back. The supervisor did call the following day but was just as rude if not more so than the rep I had spoken to. I was told I would not receive a refund for the unused jars. At this point, I hung up in total frustration. How can these people get away with this scam? I returned all five jars. Postal tracking shows they received them back, but I have gotten no response. So they are keeping the product and my money! I think there must be a law against this type of situation. I hope I can get some responses to my email as I am considering a class action suit. In addition when I asked for a physical address so I could FedEx the product I was returning, I was told I could only sent it to a PO Box.

I ordered this Hydroxatone product after seeing an add on TV for a free 30 day trial, and was to receive a "free" 30 day trial along with my "special" free gift of a full size toner. When I called to place my order, they were more than helpful and cheerful and explained to me that all I had to do was pay $7.95 for the shipping and it would arrive in a few days.

Well, it did arrive and I opened the box to find 2 full size jars and no toner! I tried to call about this to see if a mistake had been made and was astonished to be redirected to another phone number called talk line which was a sex talk line! So, I went online and found another number and spoke with a man named Dan. He explained that they were aware of this problem and it was being taken care of and apologized. He said, "this is not the way we do business here". He was pleasant but explained that I'd have to call back at another time.

When I did, I got anther employee named Alicia. I tried to explain to her that there had been some type of mistake and told her what I thought I was supposed to receive and what I actually got. She was extremely rude and actually obnoxious! She gave me a date that was not 30 days from even the day they sent the order on the invoice, and told me that I needed to write down what she called an RMA# and write it on the return box under the address, or it wouldn't be taken care of and may go to the wrong department and I may be charged again and shipped another 2 jars. I was so angry and asked to speak to her supervisor. She told me she didn't have one at first, then after I didn't give in about that, she told me she had one named Karen and "she" would call "me" back within 24 hours. Well, I waited and no callback.

So, I called again and spoke to Jeanne, who sounded concerned about how I was treated and gave me another RMA#. She even went so far to tell me that Alicia was lying and because she knew she'd be in trouble for her rudeness towards me, therefore never told Karen" to call me. Jeanne told me that I would need to get a delivery confirmation number from the post office. Today, I sent the product back before the date they gave me and did everything they told me to do. So I will see soon if they do as they said.

The product was greasy and smelled funny. I couldn't use it. It made my skin worse than it was before and it made me breakout, something that never happens to me. Aside from the stress of getting a huge runaround, I also am out $14.90 in shipping fees and still did not receive the free toner! I am not sure what if anything else will happen with this ordeal. I ordered this product on the phone sometime around mid February/March of 2009. I asked the phone representative specifically, "So, whats the catch?" She responded with a laugh and said to me that, "The first shipment is free. All you have to do is pay the shipping of $12.00." I said okay and gave her my credit card information over the phone.

The shipment of two jars in a box came within a week and I used some of the product in one jar for about a week and it was very greasy. My skin actually looked worse than before I had started using it. I decided to see if my friends wanted the jars since I couldn't use them and I had already paid for them. I gave an open jar to one friend and the unopened jar to another.

I looked for a phone number online to call to cancel my next shipment and tell them it wasn't working for me. I had thrown away the original box I received the product in and I couldn't find the receipt so I didn't have the phone number. I searched online for a phone number and found nothing. The only number I found in Google and/or White Pages for this business was an informational line, meaning that you could call and listen to testimonials about the product but you couldn't get an actual person on the phone.

After two weeks of hunting down a phone number for this company, I finally found one online in an obscure site. It was actually listed under a site regarding online scams. It was at this point that I received another shipment and I called to cancel and let them know the product wasn't working for me. I got a representative from the company that was hostile and rude. I explained the situation to him that the product was not working for me and that I wanted to return the new shipment. He said I still owed for the original shipment. I said no, my bank account was debited for the $69.00 and he said one jar was $69.00.

I apparently still owed for the other jar from the original shipment. I said, "No problem, I will return it immediately and cancel any future orders that you have for me and I will also be returning the shipment of two jars that I just received." He said he would need my credit card number to process the return. I told him there was no way he was getting my credit card number from me because I am now realizing the scam claims to be true and that if I were to give this fraudulent company my credit card, I would have continued to rack up charges for as long as they felt like charging my card. (The reason they needed a credit card number is that my original card was through one bank, they were acquired by another bank, and I had to get another card with another number because they closed my original account and changed/opened a new account).

He continued to be argumentative and rude to me. I told him, "You are supposed to be customer service and you are being so hateful and rude to me." He responded to my side of the story by basically calling me a liar and saying the phone rep didn't say or wouldn't have said that to me. I said, "You have no idea what the phone rep said. You weren't listening to our conversation." He responded that he could have the phone tapes pulled to verify. I said, "Yes! Let's get the phone tapes pulled! I know exactly what was said, I know what she told me and I want them pulled."

He then backed down and said that he would have to order them from archives and that could take a while. I said that I can wait. I gave him my phone number to call me back once the tapes were pulled. He did not give me his name during this conversation. He called me back about 2-3 weeks later and left a message with a name but I could not pronounce it or spell it. It sounded foreign to me (maybe of Middle Eastern or Indian descent). I called back and left a message and heard nothing else after that.

It is my firm belief that as fraudulent as this company seems to be, it would not be unreasonable to think they doctored the phone tapes and they are not in their original entirety. I would be shocked if they were. The fact of the matter is I was only sent two shipments, each having two jars inside. Once I was done with the phone call above, I promptly went back to my friend who had the unopened jar and asked for it back. She gave me the unopened jar (she had not started using it yet) and I sent it from a Parcel Express Store with tracking no less so that they couldn't say they didn't get it.

I show that they received it. They also received the second shipment of two jars unopened and I returned that one through USPS and marked the box returned to sender--did not order and put it back in my mailbox the same day I received it. It went out in the next day's mail. The company even shows a $139.00 credit on my account with them, which is actually the box with two jars they received (as evidenced by the enclosed statement from them). I also have a $69.00 debit on my bank account for the first jar I received (as evidenced by the enclosed bank statement). The problem is that they have not credited back the jar I sent back with tracking!
