I look forward to taking the hearing system out at night and I'm still having trouble adjusting them in certain surroundings like the theater, dinner, even watching television. I play with all kinds of setting when I watch television. But I would recommend them just for the interaction with the people and the different things you can do with it - the different settings for the dining and the music. Most hearing aids, you just put them in and go. Either turn them off or turn them on. It's neat that Zounds have the different settings if I could learn how to use them.

I belong to a club at Louis St. Bernard and one of the ladies told me how far they have gotten the Zounds hearing aids, and been doing really good with them. She knew I had hearing problems also, so she recommended me to go talk with them. I have owned it for about a month and a half. It has improved the quality of life immensely. I can hear my grandkids and the television. I go at meetings and I can hear what they say. Also, I have really good interactions with the seller that dealt with me. He wears them also. He can't hear well since he was a child. And also, I invite him down to the club I belonged to. He came down last week and gave a presentation. It must have been about 15 to 20 of them signed up to get their hearing tested.

I've had an excellent experience with ZOUNDS. They're very good to deal with. Their advantage is any kind of a problem, I call up and make an appointment and they come and take care of it immediately. The batteries had gone with my hearing aids the other day so I made an appointment. They put new batteries in and took care of it with no charge.

I got the one that costs $500 and I chose this particular Zounds model because of the price. I have had this since last spring and it's not working so good now. The volume seems to have gotten very low. My hearing is a lot worse. I'm going in tomorrow to get it adjusted. I would recommend this office to a friend, they're really good, but the hearing aid itself apparently needs adjustment.

My husband has been using Zounds Hearing Aid for a month now and they've been great. He has the electronic one that has a little device that you push when you want the volume to go up or down. It doesn't need to be recharged and no need to buy rechargeable batteries. He would be doing a lot better if he'd just leave the buttons alone. He keeps turning it back down when he's not using it.

I enjoy my ZOUNDS hearing aid. It's fantastic and really good. They fit and they worked just as good as the more expensive ones. I've had all kinds of those on the internet you buy hearing aids and they're terrible. All they do is magnify the sound of what you're already hearing. I had Miracle-Ear In-The-Ear hearing aids many years ago and they lasted about four years and I paid a big price for them. Then, I had a set that I got from VA and they were only good for about two years. None of them worked like ZOUNDS does.

I've had hearing aids from Zounds since March and it's good for TV. But I find it not so good when I'm talking person to person. I've told this to the place where they sell Zounds and the staff tried a couple things, but it's still the same. I also had the same problem with the last hearing aids I wore. So I'm still not 100 percent, but it might be my hearing. But so far, I like the Zounds better than my previous hearing aids.

My wife is talking to me now since I have been using the ZOUNDS Hearing System. I got the one that fits behind the ear where the little cord goes in your ear. Now, I hear a little too much sound but that's all right. I went to their store in Martin Birm and their people couldn't have been any nicer. I do recommend them to other people.

I needed a hearing aid so I went with Zounds. I thought it was gonna be good for me but it just doesn't work. I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the hearing aid itself. I haven't been able to put on the hearing aid because I hear a lot of sounds around me but I don't hear the people talking to me. And then I thought of getting my money back within those 30 days that I got the hearing aid but they kept talking me into getting used to it. Then 30 days went by and I'm stuck with the hearing aid that I don't even put on. So now I have to make an appointment with them once in a while to adjust it. But their customer service team were wonderful, and they were very nice when I go to them for the adjustment.

Lewis had some problems with Zounds Hearing Aid. My brother took him to buy it but I never knew if he explained properly to him. There are some days that it would work better than others, that he would or wouldn't hear me good. He could've hit a switch that he's not supposed to use and I know they are very delicate. There's a book to read about it but it's better that we'd go back to the store and discuss it but he has been in and out of the hospital so my sister went there instead. There's a switch on the pad that turns it off. She never knew about that so they showed it to her.
To me, it's not as good as the other one that he had before. I'm picky and I wanted him to hear perfectly which I understand it's not going to. But for what he spent, he should be hearing better. He spent a lot on the ones he had before and one of them was actually still working, but he wanted two new ones as he had problems with the batteries so we thought this would be better. It bothers me that the battery charge is not lasting long enough. It's like a cellphone, it can be used so much and then it needs to recharge. It seems that it has to be charged more than the regular-- his other hearing aid had batteries which we had to change. So I'm not that fond of it but I'm not wearing it.
And then the other thing is he wears oxygen so the hearing aid interferes with it. He's had a couple of times where he rushes to the bathroom and forgets about the hearing aid and he'd hit and almost dropped it. So it's something that needs to be taken in consideration. It needs to be a little perfected so that it would last for long.

Zounds has been amazing for my dad. He had a different hearing aid years ago but it broke. The Zounds is better compared to his previous hearing aids. Though my dad doesn't know how to put the hearing aids in himself, so I’m the one that puts them in him. My dad had 80% hearing loss and the rep recommended a model for him, which has a remote control. When we visited the store, I thought that it was going to be a big deal and we're going to have to wait for my dad to get fitted. But what happened was we came in, the rep put the hearing aids on my dad, and we came out. And that's what I love about Zounds. The staff were awesome.

Terrible experience with Zounds. The people who work there are perfect. They are very nice with people, but the hearing aids don't work, at least for my husband. He doesn't use them because he cannot hear one thing. We went to Bird Rd and we didn't find the doctors who had seen him. We went to see the other doctor in Pembroke Pines and apparently she didn't do anything because he still cannot hear one word. So he puts them there to charge and then that's where they stay and we pay $200 every month for that and he's never used them. So I need for them to give me an advice to see what we can do with that.

Zounds has been the most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life. I've had the hearing system for a couple of months. I was told when I was 43 years old that it was likely that I was born almost totally deaf. So I had gone for 43 years thinking I was stupid because nobody ever told me I couldn't hear. So it's marvelous for me to at long last be able to hear.
I have already recommended Zounds to friends because the personnel there at the office are marvelous and they're kindness personified with me. They're so helpful and patient with me because they know what a hearing loss I had and this is all so new to me that it's like being born again, and also because I couldn't even get the little ones all in the ear. I forget the ones behind the ear because my hearing loss is so tremendous.
The Zounds reps don't try to sell me something that's not going to be good for me. They'll tell me, "No, that won't work for you," which is what they did with the little foam things because I had to have the ones that go over the ear and behind the ear. The little foam things are very difficult for my hands because of all I've gone through with my other surgeries. The Zounds tech is making me some firmer, little hearing aid that goes in the ear, and he's going to make me a little heart thing so I don't have to struggle with folding the little foam.
I had previously tried other hearing aid companies and they were not a very good experience because they were pushing stuff that I didn't want. All I wanted was to be able to hear. The Zounds reps explained why something would look better, like the hearing aid in the ear. They explained to me that I might have the qualities for hearing that I need because I'm absolutely, totally deaf without it. Zounds is by far the best hearing aid company that I've ever been to.

I used to have a different hearing aid before but this is better. It's more convenient and I didn't like the idea that the hearing aid would run out of batteries, right when I need them. I chose the middle hearing system, not the high-end nor the low-end one. I chose it price-wise, and it was a little bit better than the lower-end system. Unfortunately, I lost it so it hasn’t worked too well. However, their sales and customer service teams are very good, they tried their best to be helpful. They've provided very good service. I don't know if it's the management, but they tried to get the profit in a little bit more. My circumstances are not different from anybody else but if I got the high-end model, it might work better. In church, I had trouble hearing the female minister. It was such that high tones were not available to me anymore. I also could not hear the clicking of the directions for the car. And my wife kept harping on me so I finally had my hearing checked in Arizona. I thought if I ever got hearing aids, it would be a Zounds because they looked and sounded like they were really good and I don't like batteries. I went with the highest Zounds hearing system and I have had it for eight months. It has sharpened my hearing in lots of places.
However I sweat a lot because I exercise a lot and that is a handicap because it stains the metal sensors on the hearing aid. Other than that, it has worked out just fine. I would recommend them to anyone. Moreover, the person who works for Zounds in Minnetonka, Minnesota, by far, is an example of a top salesperson. Technology have made improvements quite a bit over the years for better hearing, but some of them in my experience lie to the people. Some of the hearing aids don't have enough protection for the wax. It only takes a little speck to mess them up and then you cannot hear. I unfortunately, purchased a hearing aid from Zounds in Red Bank, New Jersey. It was purchased in November/December 2014. This is a hearing aid that does not use batteries. It came with a battery charger. The charger became defective in September 2015 well within the warranty period. During this time the store where it was purchased went out of business. The store that I went to for service charged for a replacement charger. First saying it was one price then another higher price. The company refuses to honor the warranty. They claim it is defective but not because of a manufacturer's defect. I have spoken to them on several occasions to no avail. I believe they in general will not honor their guarantees.
When the device was purchased it was handed to me without having a box. It is my belief that a used device was sold to me. The store that I purchased the aids from is as mentioned earlier out of business. If you buy from this company I suggest you be very careful being sure the device is new and not used or refurbished. Secondly, be certain that the person you are purchasing from is reliable and not going out of business within a short time of the sale. So experience having dealt with two different stores they don't seem to be very trustworthy when it comes to selling the product. Get a written guarantee/warranty from them. Although it is in the operator's manual it does not seem to count.
This is my first set of hearing aids and I am not particularly happy with the results I am getting although they have been adjusted several times. The store (the third) I am dealing with now seems quite helpful but the results are no better than before. My experience with them leads to the old adage "Buyer Beware".

I got Zounds Hearing Aids about two months ago. It's a little closer and they followed up. At first, I ignored it because I knew that I didn't want a hearing aid but I'm deaf. I said, "If I'm going to stay around for a while, let me at least hear what I've been missing for the last 10 years." So I went there and talked to the doctor about getting a hearing aid. She was great. I have no complaints so far. I don't hear everything but overall, it's a much better experience than the way I was without hearing. I hear some things I don't hear before. Generally, it's favorable I have it. The selling point that really hit me was that I didn't have to go out to buy batteries every month. I didn't want to deal with that one. I needed a battery that can never overcharge. That sold me to it.
They told me that my hearing was so bad when they gave me the test that the doctor recommended the Imprezo, and I trusted her. She seemed legitimate to me and wasn't trying to steer me down a path. So far I'm paying about $200 a month and should be paid up in another five months. But overall, I'm satisfied. I watched a program last night without the closed caption. Before I had my hearing aid, I used to put the volume up to 75 but now I got it on 15. Whenever I'm outside, I hear the ambient sounds I haven't heard in years like birds and it's a remarkable difference. Let's hope its not flashing in six months. I'd be highly irate because it cost me close to five grand.
I've already recommended it to a friend of mine in the Boston area and he's got the ZOUNDS too, and he was very happy about it. When I went to Miami to see the doctor, I was saying, "What am I doing wrong? I'm not hearing." And she showed me how to tweak it to my specifications. It's really good. If it continues to be the way it is, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I'm very content and very satisfied with it. I'll continue on with the program and hopefully there's no drawback down the road.

They have been doing wonderfully, it's not their hearing aids, it's my hearing. They've been giving me good service, they adjusted the volume for me. Their cost is no higher than any other hearing aids out there. They are a very good, reliable company.

Ten years ago, I had a hearing operation on my left ear for replacing the stapes. It cost me almost $10,000 and that ear is worthless now as it went out in hearing. The doctor wanted me to go back in for another operation. I told him, “No, I’m not going through that again”. And so, where I am right now, I can hear someone talking on the phone and my cell phone, but if I’m out with a group talking, I miss half of the conversation. I cannot understand the sermons in church on Sunday. I have hearing in my right ear. My doctors have prescribed two hearing aids, one for both ears to level it off, as they say. But the cost of these hearing aids is ridiculous.
The Zounds hearing aids are not worth the money I paid for them because I can hear hardly anything and it's the third set of hearing aids I’ve had. I’ve spent almost close to $6,000 just on hearing aids in the past 5 years. Every day in the paper, I see full page ads for hearing aids and evaluations and they all say, "Oh, if your hearing loss is above this so many decibels, it’s going to cost more than what’s being advertised in the paper." I’m very, very disillusioned with hearing aids, period. I am happy with the service the Zounds representatives give to me. They are very good and courteous, checking me but I’m dissatisfied with the hearing aid as I still feel I do not have the right hearing aid.

I’ve had my hearing aids for six months now. I was working on a job when the boss told me that I needed hearing aids because I couldn’t hear. There was a Zounds Store that was close to Winn-Dixie so I went there. The hearing aids were a little bit expensive, but thought they’re probably good. The people in the store were very nice and helpful. I got the model that costs more with the protection for them as well. When I lost one of them, they sold me another one at a reasonable price, which was good. I also got a CaptionCall from them along with my Zounds. If I get a call and do not have the hearing aids on, I look at it and I'm able to tell what’s going on, so that has helped me too.

My Zounds Hearing aid is the best I've had. I like it because I no longer have to worry about the batteries. I put them in, charge them, and have no problems after. They work wonderfully well. I had a Zounds Hearing aid before but I wasn't satisfied with it because the batteries were a problem. When I found out this has no batteries, I went for it. I have been using it for about four months now and I use it more than I did before because it's more convenient. It really does make a big difference. Everyone at Zounds is very helpful, too. I had several hearing aids back in the early 90s. I tried Lisound for 18 months but they weren't all they were cracked up to be, changing the batteries all the time. Then I heard about Zounds. They happen to be local here and I wanted to check them out. The Zounds people are very friendly. I chose Clareza because it was recommended to me. Except for the period I was in the hospital for about 2 months where I didn’t have them because they got destroyed in an accident, I have been using Zounds for two years in December. Everything is clearer since I've had the Zounds Hearing System.

Zounds has very good and outstanding hearing aid. However, the style is a bit clumsy when it fits in the ear canal and I prefer a smaller receiver in the ear since I have small ears. Nevertheless, it's definitely giving me a better quality of life and it's excellent, but I'm not using it right now. I still have it and it allows me to participate normally in day-to-day activities, whereas it's very hard to keep up without it. Overall, I would recommend Zounds to a friend. I have a hearing aid from another provider but I wasn't too happy with them. However, the one that I got from ZOUNDS made me feel that they were so much better. It's a plug-in and I took fond of the ability to connect them at night and use them the next morning. The battery-type ones, like the one I used to have, are a real nuisance since the batteries have to be changed (my hands have arthritis so it's difficult to change them) and they usually go out when most needed. The ZOUNDS hearing system has indeed been very good and it's a little clearer than my old one. I'm very happy with them.

I got an ad in the mail from Zounds. I went to set an appointment to have my hearing checked, which I knew it was bad. They put me right in and got me fixed up quickly with some nice hearing aids. I got the Clareza because of the cost, and it has made a total difference in my hearing. When I went in for my two-year check-up, they said I lost another 50% of hearing in each ear so they molded some special tips and put them in instead of the normal ones. Now, I can hear myself talk and sing.
I had a hearing aid three years ago before I had Zounds. It had a little battery and compartment, and with my big old fingers, I could barely open the compartment. It broke and I had to tape it together because they wouldn't fix it. I was out $2,000 for one hearing aid that didn't work. For the same amount, I got two hearing aids from Zounds that has worked for years. I got my money's worth. I've had very good luck with Zounds. They have great people and every time I've gone in or had a problem, like needing new batteries or having a broken earpiece, they'd hand it to me or get it fixed and I'd be on my way again.

It's rechargeable, easy to put in the ear and to maintain. It also comes with a remote so I can change a feature if I need to. I'm a retired army aviator so I fly in turbine engines for years, and I got a high-frequency loss. Now I'm hearing things and conversations without having to say, "What did you say? I feel Zounds have improved my life but I'm lost when I have a problem with them.
For some reason, I've had a problem with it ever since I purchased it but it'll work all right for a little while but after about 2 or 3 hours, it starts beeping on me like it's getting low on battery though it’s been charged up. I couldn't make it hear recently and have tried to call the number I had, but maybe they changed numbers. If I turn it off, they used to last me. I work part time and they’ve lasted me all time but when it starts beeping, it's real bad and I'm down to one hearing aid. If I turn it off and leave it a while and then turn it back on, it'll work another couple or 3 hours then it starts doing that which is the only difficulty I've had with it.

Zounds helped me with hearing particularly with listening to TV. I'm happy with it and I hope it stays that way.

The unit I got from Zounds was the top model that they had and it gave more channels. The price was also better than some of the other ones I had looked at, and it was clear as you can get with hearing aids. The customer service is good and there was no sales pressure. This is what you have, this is what will take to do it. There’s a lot of choices as you know in fit, size, and stuff because of the way they’re made. They also give you a 30-day trial period and if they don’t work, you take them back and get your money refunded. They were excellent so I’ve already recommended them.

The man had to replace a tip on the right hearing aid, and I also had numerous problems with the same hearing aid. He finally replaced it with a new hearing aid. Now I seem to be having trouble with the left hearing aid, as the wire that is connected to the hearing aid has broken off. It will be over 2 weeks before I can take it in and get it repaired of replaced. I have made 3 appointments and when I got to the office there wasn't anybody there. What I like about ZOUNDS hearing system is that I can adjust it with the remote to all the different situations that I'm in. It's great to be able to hear with better quality. My only complaint is that there are no other places to take it to outside the state of Arizona. I was in the State of Washington a month ago and one of my hearing aids went out and there was nowhere to take it. So I spent the whole week without a hearing aid. I also had a few problems with the links but they seem to have taken care of that. I understand that Zounds is new when I got it and they're still developing into something better in terms of having more places and the people in their locations are wonderful.

Soon a female returned and said she put a new and better model tip on my aid that she said would stop the feedback noise. I didn't have a problem but she wanted to fix something that wasn't broken. She said it was free and assured me I would be pleased with the improved device.
Before I got home the discomfort became unbearable so I removed the aid. Convinced that I must try to get used to the new piece I continued trying to use it. A couple weeks later I had to have the other battery changed and complained of the new piece. He changed it. But once I got there, they were very understanding and helpful. They know how you feel and make you feel relaxed.
I don't know what I would've done if I didn't have a hearing aid. I love them. I can hear so much better, and people tell me they can see a difference. There are still certain conversations I can't hear, because you're not going to hear 100%, but it's helped me tremendously. I can hear a lot, especially at work. When there's so much noise going on at work, I can use my remote that I get from ZOUNDS and drown out some of it. If I don't want to talk to somebody, I can shut them off. This is my second pair of Zounds hearing instruments. The first pair I purchased 2010 I believe in Port Richey, Florida. The representative's name was **. They were the best hearing aids I had ever had. I have worn hearing aids since the mid 80's and have had 7 pairs since then. I have had several different brands before I got my first pair of Zounds. My hearing has been in steady decline since 1982 and I was very happy with my first pair of Zounds. They worked even better than they were advertised to work. I purchased my second pair of Zounds in 2014 in Clearwater, Florida from ** and when I had my first problem, my Right ear started singing constantly. My wife called and made an appointment at Countryside Mall in Clearwater where I had purchased them and ** took care of the problem by adjusting it. All was well for a month or so and then the same thing happened again so we made another appointment at the same place.
They were unable to get me in right away which was not a big problem because neither of us drive anymore. So we had to make arrangements for transportation. When I went in for the appointment, I found out that ** was no longer with the company and the man that was there didn't even know that I had an appointment. I also needed some new foam tips and was charged $10.00 for a packet of 5 or 6 tips. They are still under warranty, or so I was told when I purchased them 15 months ago that they were guaranteed for 2 years. We were planning to move back to the Pacific Northwest and since there is no store in the Portland-Vancouver area, I wanted to purchase a pair of links because they are usually (in my experience) the most likely to break. I was charged $120.00 for a pair. The prices from store to store are not the same and seem to be whatever the reps. want to charge.
I now have NO control of the volume of the right instrument and have been told several times when I went in to have it fixed that there is nothing wrong with it, it is my hearing. The newest thing they are doing is they both change volume anytime they feel like it. This happens when I don't have the control with me and it is in another room. I am at the point that I either get to send them either to Florida where I purchased them or to the factory in Arizona and hope that they will repair or replace them. Neither of which I expect to happen. I am looking for new hearing aids but not Zounds! These turned out to be very expensive pieces of JUNK.

I love Zounds. I first heard about them from a friend of mine. Her brother-in-law had bought their hearing system and so I went over, tried them, and now have been using them for five years. They've just made a world of difference in my life. I got to the point where I couldn't participate in any of the conversations if I were in a group of people because I really couldn't hear any of them. Everything was muted and a lot of people are talking. Once I got Zounds everything just came alive.
The battery died when I was in Michigan and so I called the Florida office in Bonita Springs where I bought them. I knew that I could get a free battery put in. They said there was one in Ann Arbor and one in Plymouth, Michigan which are a couple hour ride to either one. I called the Plymouth Michigan branch and asked, and unfortunately the young fellow that I talked to was very abrupt. He said they don’t do anything like that, that they don’t service. I told him I was told that they would and he said I'd have to pay for it. I said, “Fine. I just need a new battery, that’s all.”
I sent it to them and he called me a week later to tell me that they did receive it, checked it out, and that it could not be repaired. The battery was not the problem but they could sell me a new one. I said “wait a minute.” I just didn’t believe all that happened. As far as I knew, it just needed a new battery. So he said, “Well if you sent it to the company, the minimum would be $500 to have it repaired.” I told him to just send it back to me. I said “When I go back to Florida in the fall I’ll talk to the people there because they were just super.” They just took care of me if there was anything wrong and very friendly too.
When I got back to Florida, the Zounds rep opened it up and said that he felt it was the hearing aid and not the battery, but did something to it and said it would work for a while. I don’t know how long, but that was last fall and I still got it working fine. I’ve recommended to Zounds Hearing Aids because I think they’re great. But as far as the Plymouth, Michigan branch, I don’t think too highly of them.

I've never regretted that decision. It makes it so much better to hear everything that people say when they're talking. I love my Zounds hearing aid.

My Zounds hearing aids are okay. The other one is ringing like mad but my other hearing aid is good. I have a magnified phone and I'm trying to get it to work where I wanted to in that magnification. I never had that ringing in my right ear before and all of a sudden, it's ringing all the time. I can just call their sales rep to ask what's causing this ringing and how it can be stopped. Aside from the ringing, my experience with their offers has been nothing but pleasant. The people in their Oracle office are very good, too. I've already recommended them to somebody. I've had 3 or 4 different types and so far and these are probably the best. None of them are going to be perfect because my ear is not perfect.

We've had a great experience with Zounds Hearing Aids. Unfortunately, my father-in-law is almost 101 years old and very hard of hearing. My father had Zounds hearing aids and he passed away a couple of years ago, and I was aware of them from my dad. My father-in-law heard about them through a family reference or a family referral and wound up with a newer set than what my dad had before. He's able to communicate much more easily and enjoys being able to hear things he couldn't hear before.
The sales and customer service teams were excellent and did an impressive job. I spoke to the head of the local office, and his office person was also good. The audiologist was the most impressive of the group and did very well with my father-in-law and with us, and was very helpful in explaining the options and choices. We hope to go back there in July when my father-in-law is up for a new hearing aid.

I arrived at Zounds of the South Hills (Pittsburgh) on the first leg of a long journey. I was not even certain was suffering from hearing loss, let alone needed a hearing aid. When the practitioner ** explained the test before and after, I was surprised to learn that I had a moderate loss and needed 2 hearing aids. I thought if I needed an aid it would be just 1! I was quoted a price for their top of the line rechargeable hearing aids with a remote. I admitted that these sounded great during the appointment. Then I was told my insurance would not cover the cost, only a portion, and I thought it would pay for whatever I needed. I was shocked so I went on a journey to get less expensive hearing aids, and only get one.
Boy, was that a mistake! I went to place after place and they all tried to hard sell me aids that sounded half as good and cost twice as much!!!!!! They tried to tell me I had a significant, severe loss. I felt like I was buying a used car. One saleslady even told me I would go deaf if I didn't buy the aids right then. Fat chance. I went back to Zounds and met with **, who understood everything I went through. Fit me with 2 instruments and 1/2 the price, and made sure I was pleased. I have been back a few times for my scheduled check ups and each time was a great experience. The receptionist ** is a real treat, and they always try to make me feel at home. I would highly recommend Zounds Pittsburgh South Hills.

I called Zounds the 21st of April and I got an appointment on the 22nd. The representative, who I call Doctor, took me in the room to check my ears and he told me that both my ears were not good but the right ear was the worst. He asked me questions and gave me exams. I told him, "I can't hear behind me. I have to keep turning around to see if there's a car behind me." He took all those information. He was so nice. Then he set me up with a hearing aid. He goes out in the hallway and said "Can you hear me now?" and I said "Yes, I can." He was moving around out and asked "Can you hear me?" and I said "Yes, I can." So then he went around the corner and said again "Can you hear me now?" and I said "Yes, I can." I was so happy.
Then he takes me outside and I really got emotional because when I was outside, I can hear the birds, I can hear the traffic and I was like living over again because it's been so long that I hadn't been able to go to church and to the movies. I went to the church, sat at the back of the church and I could hear everything over the recording and everything the ministry was playing. It's certainly wonderful for people that are hard of hearing like me who is almost deaf in my right ear. Now, I can hear with my right ear. I can use my little programmer to adjust this. That's what I really like about this hearing aid. I've had three other hearing aids and they were really good choices, but I didn't get the hearing aid that I needed. I have got it now and I'm very, very happy with ZOUNDS.

I heard about Zounds from my daughter. They did a demonstration and interview where she lives and she told me about them. She came and took me, and they checked my ears and put them in, and I loved them right away. They did more for me than any hearing aids have ever done. I've been wearing hearing aids and I've had every kind of hearing aids they've got, but these are the best I've ever had. And they're the cheapest. They are cheaper than any hearing aids I've had. Simple fact, I never have to replace a battery. I put them on the charger every night, charge them, and go with them. I'd recommend them to anybody. I love it.

I saw an ad for Zounds Hearing Aids and the thing that appealed to me was the recharger every night so you don't have to put batteries in it all the time. I went with their second to the highest hearing system, and I've had it for three years. It has changed my whole life. I'm married and it helps my relationship with my wife especially. She could put up with my lack of hearing very well for a while, but now if I don't have my hearing aids, then she will go get them for me.
I bought my hearing aids originally in the Beach area. Then that store finally opened in Naples and got the same manager that they had at Beach and he's really good. Before purchasing Zounds, I had different hearing aids from a very big, popular company. They were good hearing aids made by a company in Minneapolis, but I like the idea of having my batteries recharged while I'm sleeping. I'm quite happy with them and have recommended them. It made my marriage much better.

Zounds offers good product. I have owned one since around July and it made my life a lot more productive. It helped me hear better in quieter situations and I don't misunderstand as much. Every interaction with them has also been fantastic. They call me regularly to check and see if I need anything else. The technician is great. I've had lots of interactions with the sales and customer service teams at Zounds. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to get a hold of them now. I've lost one hearing aid and I've just started paying for it because it was a replacement. My hearing aids were so old that they needed replacing, but I immediately lost one. Tech tried different ways to accommodate the tubes pulling from my ears but nothing really worked. Pretty much said he/she couldn't do anything else. Really?? After researching the company after the fact (my BIG mistake) I have learned that the corporate customer service apparently is lacking. At the local level, attitudes could be more positive out front! I've replaced the remote at least once already. Last time I went in for an adjustment, I needed a new 'link' which was $50. I returned a pair of hearing aids at Zounds in Mesa, AZ on 1/12/15 for a refund owed to me of the purchase price of $3,597.00. They say it'll take 4-6 wks for the refund to make it to me. I called on 2/9/15 to ask when I would receive it. I asked the person to call me back after she received an answer from Zounds. She called me back and said accounting told her they were having computer problems and it would be mailed out that upcoming Friday 2/13/15.
I called again today and spoke with a different person and asked when I would receive my refund as it's almost $3,600.00. That's a lot of money to be held by a corporation. It could be in my account collecting interest or used to pay bills. I asked her to tell them I want it in the overnight mail. I returned the better hearing aids after trying a lesser channel pair, first, returning them and opting to try the higher channel set. I was not happy with the second pair either and so opted to return them. There were many reasons I was unhappy with them.

I was mildly disappointed in the first few months. I did not realize at that time that the hearing quality could be improved. After about 6 months it seemed much better with periodic retuning to my hearing needs. Now the company closes and leaves our city. I feel abandoned. I need some minor maintenance and cannot get it locally. They pulled the rug out. Imagine no local service when this process is high tech and in person. I may decide that a refund is in order. I may go further if I feel mistreated. They apparently don't really care about their customers. If you want a hearing aid, go to a nationally established brand that is provided through a major retailer. Don't pay more than $1,000 for a pair.
Despite your familiar office having moved, we will continue to service and maintain your hearing aids just as we always have, please reach out to us and we will take care of you.
We will certainly have another office closer to you opening soon. Zounds has grown from a total of 20 offices to over 180 offices across the county in the last few years and will continue to grow making it possible to offer better service to our patients and customers everywhere.

In July 2014 I went to Zounds Mt Juliet, Tn store and purchased a pair of their best aids with what was supposed to be the best Technology on the market. The staff of two people were nice enough and after being fitted with a pair of aids using a foam ear piece for each ear and calibrating the devices to my hearing test which I supplied from my Audiologist I left the store not sure that Zounds was going to work for me; however, I was assured that there was a 30 day trial period and that they would correct whatever problems came up in that time. Problems: Receivers too big for my ear canal left ear, Constant feedback or singing, Ear molds.
Today is Nov 4 and the problems are still not resolved and I have tried to contact their corporate office and no one has returned my calls. I have also sent emails, same results and I tried to return them to get some of my money back and was told that was not possible. So I am stuck with hearing aids I can only wear part of the day because they hurt my ear and have to listen to the feedback noise when the volume is turned up. I WOULD NOT BUY ZOUNDS. Their technology is average at best and their after the SALE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE OR NON-EXISTENT.

I went to visit family in Naples and found out Zounds has a new store in Naples, FL. I went to Zounds in Naples for service on my hearing aids. I have to admit it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The receptionist, a man in his 30s maybe 40s, was very unprofessional. The guy does not know what he's doing. I asked him to get the Manager and he proceeded to go in the back of the store. I could hear them talking in the back. He came back with an older gentleman that claim to be the Manager. This "Manager" tried to sell me new hearing aids when all I wanted was service. He claimed that the store in Bonita Springs, which is the one I have dealt with for years was selling hearing aids from China. I told him I did not need new hearing aids and even though I had to drive an extra 10 miles I went to the Bonita Springs store.
The receptionist there took great care of me. She welcomed me with a smile, asked me how she could help me, took my hearing aids in the back. After 10 minutes came back with my hearing aids working, new batteries, new tips. She explained to me that one of the wires was broke and it needed to be replaced. She changed the wire gave me new batteries and new tips at no charge. She apologize for the way I was treated at the Naples store and I left the store happy. Believe me, it's worth driving an extra 10 miles to get this type of service. I later found out that the Naples store is a franchise store. They sell the same "Zounds" product at a much higher price and their employees don't know what they are doing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ZOUNDS IN NAPLES FL.
