This collection I have on my credit for Verizon wireless has long exceeded the allowed time for reporting by the FCA, not only did it fall off my credit some time ago, but now it pops back up on my credit with a whole new "opened date" by the same collection company. This is the type of fraud that needs to be addressed, it seems that all collection companies have no regulations. They can manipulate data, they do not validate debt (which is a Fair Credit Reporting Act requirement), and still report it on the credit reporting bureaus (TU,EX,EQ), yet no one does nothing about them. As long as the credit bureaus get their monthly fee from collection companies they will report it with actually validating. GOVT /CA needs to step in and regulate all parties involved, if they cannot validate debt it should not be reported. Why are you not stepping in to correct the corrupt world of collection agencies.
In 2011 we paid Verizon bill in full. We have been with Sprint for six years now but Pinnacle sends us bills and still harasses us. We paid Verizon. We provided proof and they removed my husband, not me from their cross hairs. They are dirty, lying and rude. They send us papers saying "here is the info you requested" to act like we contacted them so the debt starts over. We will never pay them. Verizon got our money and we will not pay twice. The only info they provide is the last Verizon bill we owed. Which is what we paid. In full. PLEASE INVESTIGATE PINNACLE CREDIT SERVICES. This group will be one of those ABC news Investigations or Dateline about the strip mall locations and dirty management ruining lives. Someone please help stop this company.
This NASTY group has been calling us, here in New Mexico, for at least 13 years and requesting information as to how to locate my husband's son, refusing to tell for what other than "it concerns a legal affair." We are retired seniors, and he has not been welcome under our roof for years (approximately 2001), nor has he been in touch with us. What he has or hasn't done is none of our affair.
The final straw came today, when they called me and I told them I was going to file a police report if they didn't stop harassing us, as my husband was ill and it was disturbing him. (We are both in our 80's, which they seemed to be aware of...?) THEN they somehow located MY son (who has never met or heard of my stepson) using his work cell phone. He told them I was his mom, but that he had never heard of my husband's son, whereupon the woman said "You are obviously lying" and hung up on him. I am really angry, but according to the police they cannot take a report. "Creditors" whoever they are have rights. Where are ours?
I was just yelled at by a woman supposedly named "Mrs. **". What an original alias ha! I have excellent credit and was shocked when I explained that this is my first time in collections and can I reduce or waive my late fee. This made her claws come out and she yelled "That's never gonna happen!" This lady is going to come back as a suppository in her next life!
This Credit reporting agency needs a full investigation. I find them on my report, from VERIZON, which was paid and yrs later. Here we go again with the same nonsense. How are they allowed to decrease someone's credit on something that was taken care of yrs ago and you're expected to keep a receipt for over 5 yrs. This is criminal and should not be allow.

Both my Dad and I have same names with suffix III and IV (of course IV is me) however, I am at the time the account was opened age 10 for a Citibank credit card and a Verizon account. So now I am of age to build up my credit and I see Pinnacle has me in collections for $3,695 which they say is under my dead dad's social security number and WILL NOT HELP ME REMOVE IT FROM MY TRW REPORT... ANYONE HERE HAVE A LAWYER OR KNOW OF ONE THAT can help me sue their asses off for fraud... They said "it's not your son's social it's your dead husband's." All fine and good. Now remove it.
Don't ever do business with this company!!! Warning these people aren't bankers they are scammers. They charged me double my balance like always. I was only 21 at the time didn't know anything about credit or building or getting approved. At the time I didn't have a job that paid me over the table. These people "somehow" said I made a certain amount and approved the documentation of fake things from a dealership that is now shut down. Now they are trying to tell me I still owe 8 grand still for a car they took. If I car has taken a charge off that means the remainder of the balance of what the car was left after they took it from me is what the total should be. I paid for a year straight for an old car that wasn't even worth more than 6 grand. I paid 2 grand down and paid nearly 10 including my trade in.
These people are scam arrest. They ** you over and act like nothing happened. People like this group will get ** over so badly with karma... The worst people ever. Do not ever ever do business here. They even were laughing and hanging up on me when I was asking for help. They took my car because I was a month behind. Nobody here has to believe me but when someone sees this they will know to turn away from this place. Never ever use this company as a partner for your dealership. A dealership pretty much probably shut down because of this company. They are bored and need penny not even nickels and dimes.
I would like to give no stars, but unfortunately I have to pick one star. I paid my car note today and an hour later they charge me the same amount. My bank overdraft because Pinnacle Bank decided that they will charge my account again for a second payment that was unauthorized. I had to make various calls to my bank, which unfortunately couldn't do anything, but put a dispute in. I called Pinnacle bank various times to try to get the matter resolved and they were unable to stop the payment to go through because they couldn't see it in their system until the next day. Unfortunately, they couldn't credit my account. Now I am over drafted, no money... It such an inconvenient when you try to make a payment, which was my first payment, and this happens. If I didn't have a auto loan with them, I will never use them again. The next payment, if I get credited will be in the mail form of money order. So unhappy right now.
Daughter financed car. She got laid off. Went straight back to work. Got behind. Sent money every week. Only one month behind would not continue to work with her. Car was just about paid off so they picked it up. It's crap. Never will do any business there & from reviews no one should.
Pinnacle Credit Services of MN is in violation of the Federal Court per my Chapter 7 bankruptcy. They were notified properly per the court and listed on my bankruptcy. My credit report was wiped clean from all listed debt. Now that I'm feeling better, I have been trying to improve my credit score. Out of nowhere "Pinnacle" decides to simply pick up where they left off on an old Verizon bill and re-enter it onto my credit report. I am going to rain a legal hell storm on this company that they won't believe. Including a lawsuit for many thousand dollars for illegally crushing my credit score which will have a negative impact for me for many years.
Company won't even put their full name on their spam mail because they don't want someone to look them up before they call. Become extremely rude once they find out you aren't interested in their debt consolidation scam. I asked how they received my information and they hung up on me three times before I got someone that would answer. Seem like a legit company to you? Stay away from them and don't bother calling.
I called their office and made a full payment on my debt. They never closed my account with the creditors and now a year later it shows as still in collections.
They have recently started calling almost daily about a bill I thought was already taken care of a year ago. I've been over this with them over and over. And now they are calling my fiance's cell phone (how they got that number, I don't know!) asking where I am. He wouldn't explain what he was calling for at first or who he was representing, just kept asking for the last four digits of my SSN and I finally got it out of him what it was for. There's screaming in the background because there's some sort of "Friday" party going on, as the rep put it. I tell him there's nothing I can do now, as I don't have the money right now and won't for a while. Again, I thought this was taken care of A YEAR AGO. I explain the situation, how I was not the one responsible for running the bill up, and I barely get to explain as he tells me that he will report it as fraud then and have the police come and talk to me and I'll have to make a report. Very unprofessional demeanor.
I made payment arrangements for a bill I owed. Talk to a real nice guy name Max who set up the payment plan for me. When it was time for me to load the money on my prepaid debit card, I loaded more money than the payment plan to pay off another bill. They proceeded to take more money than I authorized. When I called to see what happened I was met with rude, ignorant behavior from a supervisor. She then proceeded to threaten me and told me to be prepared?! I am taking this as a serious threat and intend on filing a police report. Never have I dealt with people were supposed to be in customer service that are so rude and awful to customers. Then they proceeded to ignore all my phone calls. To whatever companies decide to use Pinnacle Asset Recovery this reflects badly on your business.
Pinnacle Financial is nothing but a bottom feeding collection agency. They never made contact with me, yet they decided it was ok to just add a collection account to my credit report. The funny thing is that there is no way possible I could owe anyone anything. My mortgage broker and I have spent the better part of 2 years cleaning up my credit so that I would qualify to buy a home. Watch out for these guys, they are the kind of bottom feeders that when your account is getting close to the 7 year mark and dropping off, you will have mysteriously made a $20 payment, and now it's staying on your credit for 7 more years.
There is one thing about me and that is to pay my bills when I got. These pushy foreigners they have calling have no respect for the people they call. I am self employed. I got sick and created a hospital bill out the wood works which totaled up to be almost 7,000 dollars from everybody that had part to play in my two to three hour emergency room visit.
Now this visit is two years old and Pinnacle has contacted me. They are so rude, trying to tell me what I need to do to pay them. I told them that I have a debt list and I am paying off the interest debts first and then those bills and they were soon to get their money. The lady told me Pinnacle was more important than my interest building debts. I told her I don’t need her trying to tell me how to pay my debts off or how to run. She started trying to say she’s giving me suggestions.
Her suggestions were to get out my debit card and make a payment of thirty dollars to start a payment plan. I told her I couldn’t and she said “That’s the same thing you said in October. Why don’t you borrow the money from a friend or a relative because you need to get this paid as soon as possible? I told her no. All her suggestions were how she wanted me to get it paid over the phone. She was pushy rude and trying to be very talkative.
If you want the clients to be respectful when you call and at least try to set up a payment plan, stop being rude. Those foreigners are rude and they don’t care how they talk to you. They stop calling late at night. I don’t think they understand the English words, “I don’t have anything yet.” I think those words come in one ear and out the other. They harass the customers and talk so rude! Can somebody tell me how I can get rid of them? I want to pay them but I also want them off my credit report.
I got a call from Pinnacle stating that this was an attempt to collect a debt for $2400 for a valid timeshare charge that I did in fact owe. Although the timeshare company (Pacific Monarch) did send it to this third party collector, it was still my debt. I admit that I owed. However, the man who called was understanding and then said he will pass me to his supervisor who will gladly work out a payment plan with me and she will call me back. She did call back and before I had the chance to say anything, I was told, "You have no right trying to get a payment plan! I did a background check and see that you paid your Target and Best Buy card on time so you can pay this!" I was taken back by her yelling at me for no reason.
I had yet to even ask a question. I said, "Excuse me? I'm just trying to keep communication open." I was speaking in calm voice and for proof, I was in a post office when she called and out of respect for the line. I was quiet. Her anger and defensiveness prompted me to ask about the research that I did which was, "I read that Pacific Monarch went bankrupt back in Oct 2011." She stopped me and yelled, "That is the most pathetic thing I've ever heard! You can't get out of your debt no matter what. Any deal I was going to give you is now gone! In fact, I'm writing it down that you said that and you will be fined a higher interest on their behalf!" What? "You can count on paying a lot more if you do not settle this today!" I'm just asking a question. I actually would like to have this in writing first since I don't pay over the phone. "By law, we do not have to send you **. Lie. "You have until the end of the day to get us paid in full!" And hung up.
This made me so anxious and shaky that I was ready to call the police and a lawyer. Now, this is what I did and am now away clear of Pinnacle's grip. I called my timeshare company and spoke with collections department in house and explained to them how Pinnacle acted. They were so upset because Pinnacle works for them and this reflects terribly on Pacific Monarch. I swore that if I had the chance to make a payment plan with Pacific Monarch that I would be sure to pay them. I told Pacific that I am willing to pay but will not pay anything to a screaming person on the phone that may or may not be a scammer. The fact that I was willing to pay the timeshare company was enough for the in house debt collection to re-transfer the debt back from Pinnacle to Pacific Monarch in house. They said I no longer have to worry about Pinnacle and I made a payment plan with Pacific Monarch.
This dodges all the crazy calls and negative credit reporting. If you do have a debt, make sure you contact the original debtor and work something out. Pinnacle does not buy these accounts. They work for the debtor so it can be transferred back. I am more than happy to pay Pacific Monarch and not deal with bad credit and a crazy screaming **. When there seems to be no answer out there, I really hope this helps one of you at least.
I received voicemail on my cell phone from this company asking me to call Pinnacle at 888-831-1844. I was connected to a man who asked if I was Jamie **. I said no, and he asked if I knew this person. I do not and told him so. He then asked if this was a new phone and I said, "No, I have had this number more than 10 years.” I told him this was my cell phone and to stop calling it, and he yelled, "Don't threaten me!" And he continued screaming into the phone (not sure what, it was too loud and nasty).
I don't know anybody named Jamie **. I don't appreciate crazy people yelling and cussing at me because I ask them not to call my cell phone anymore. Who does business like this? The form does not allow you to rate an experience with negative stars. I want my happy mood back.
In Aug. 2011, Pinnacle began reporting on my credit report that I owed T-Mobile $118.68. In April 2009, I received a letter from Diversified Consultants Inc. stating that I had a balance of $495.57 owed to T-Mobile. I spoke with a nice young woman who arranged a discounted amount if I could satisfy the arrangement in 3 months. I was given an amount of $376.89. I made 3 monthly payments of $125.63 and the debt was paid in full on 6/12/09! I even have a paid in full letter from the original collection agency, Diversified Consultants Inc., dated 7/27/09. It stated that my balance is zero and that my account was satisfied and paid in full! This was two years ago. Apparently, Pinnacle bought out the original collection agency. And they decided they wanted to try to go back and collect the $118.68 that was taken off the original amount when I was given a discounted amount! I refuse to pay this! I have documents proving this account was paid in full and I refuse to pay on it again! I want this removed from my credit report ASAP!
They the home 4-5 times a day. Calls start at noon and continue till after 9 pm. They have called my children, son in law, friends and stated that I am not taking their calls and they need to speak to me about a bill owed. When I asked what I owe, I am told I must give them my SS number and date of birth first then they will give me the amount I owe.
But no company name have no idea what I would owe to this company. The people are very rude and I do not believe they have the right to speak to any random person. They will not tell me what I owe and who I owe it to. I’m not sure what I owe. They need to stop calling other people asking for my home number and cell number. If I owe, send me a bill with the date and who I would have set up this bill with.
This is a very unprofessional agency. They falsify records within their system. They speak down to all debtors, and they lie to their clients to make themselves look better. Call the source and complain to the following people who work at the location and can make a difference in your disputes. I got the following information from collection agents at the company.
I don’t know why this company is contacting me since I do not owe them a single penny. When I try to have a decent conversation with them, they got very rude with me. I have challenged this collection inquiry on my credit report. In view of that fact, they have reported it every two days since I contested it last month. Something needs doing about this company.
I would like to know where to go when a company does not honor the soldiers and sailors act? I joined the military and before leaving to basic training, I cut off my cell phone by providing orders. I have been in the military for over three years now and recently, I have been getting harassed by a company called Pinnacle Financial Group claiming that I owe $911 for a T-mobile bill. I explained to them that I closed that account and have even spoken to T-mobile. When I talked to T-Mobile, they said that they were sorry but they sold the account and can no longer talk to me about it. So I then talked to Pinnacle and they claimed that they don't buy accounts. I am tired of getting the runaround and want this off my credit and for them to quit harassing me. Pinnacle calls me and my husband, who has nothing to do with this, multiple times a day about 4 days a week. Please help.
I owed a debt to Wachovia. I got the collection notice so I called to settle the debt. They told me that the only way that they can settle for $311.78 was to have a bank account number or a credit card on file. I gave them my debit card number. I had to pay the bill by 8/29 or they will use my debit card on file. I paid $312 on 8/28. I called and confirmed that they got the payment. I also received email confirmations.
On 8/29, they deducted $311.78. I called the creditor and I was hung up on by two supervisors, who mentioned that whatever money they took is theirs. And so what if they took too much? I should have paid my bills on time in the first place to avoid this. I called again today and they are now denying that they took any additional money from me. Both accounts show a cleared amount totaling $622 from Pinnacle Finance when the settled amount was just $311.78. I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General and a fraud alert with my bank.
I continue to receive phone calls from this number looking for a Paul **. Apparently, the phone number I was given when I moved to Georgia in 2002 belonged to him. I had received numerous collection calls seeking out Paul ** in 2002. I thought I had finally convinced the debt collectors this was a bad number for ** because all calls had stopped. They have started up again in the last 3 or 4 months. I want Pinnacle Financial to stop calling my number. They are harassing the wrong person.
At around 2:34pm, I called Pinnacle Financial Group in behalf of Estella and talked to a Lady named Karrie to resolve this issue. I talked nicely and politely and asked to make a payment arrangement because I said I’m responsible for the amount that we owe t-mobile (this is a t-mobile acct. and I got the authorization on this acct. when we signed in). Explaining to her the situation that my wife is on a business travel, instead of listening to me, she was being rude and impolite. I’m asking her if we can have a payment arrangement, instead of listening to my side, she hung-up on me. Then I called again at around 2:37 p.m. and there she is again being rude to me and said I don't have time to talk to you and then hung-up on me again. She is so rude. I asked if I can talk to a supervisor or manager and she just hangs-up on me.
I hope you guys can help us, we're not trying to escape from our obligations, all we want is to be treated fairly. Thank you in advance and have a good day.
I called today to settle a bill (24 Jan 11), and the representative on phone told me that in addition to the amount I owed, they were tacking on a fee that amounted to about $19-$20. Nowhere in the letter I received demanding payment did it state that I would be responsible for any other fees. I instructed the representative not to charge me for the fee. She then put a supervisor on the phone who asked me why. I told him that those fees should be collected from the client, not me. He then said that I didn't understand. I insisted that they take only the balance on my account, and nothing else. In the end, they complied.
Pinnacle has been dunning me by telephone several times a day concerning a debt that does not exist. The claim concerns shipments two years ago from LTD commodities. Having learned the incompetence of LTD, the shipment was returned and the delivery of unwanted back orders was refused on two. No money is owed. Pinnacle asserts that calls will continue forever until payment is made. Since no debt exists, Pinnacle is in violation of Section 807 of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The claim is for a measly $40.00--the harassment is emotionally stressing.
In May of 2010, I had my identity stolen. I have been contacted through mail by many collection agencies, all of whom have been very understanding. I signed up with all the credit monitoring bureaus because of my situation. I received a letter from TransUnion letting me know that Pinnacle Financial Group has reported a derogatory on my credit.
I have been trying to get to talk to anyone with this firm. I have had no response from them. This is no joking matter when it comes to my finances. How can a problem be resolved if you cannot even get them to return a phone call? I feel my rights are being violated because I was not notified before they reported me to the credit bureau .
Bob contacted my home today, trying to collect on a bill from LTD commodities. A while back, I was contacted by them to collect 196 or so dollars from LTD. I did for set up payment arrangements. We had fallen on hard times, sometimes I could pay LTD and sometimes I could not. So I set up arrangements to pay automatically, drafting the payments from my checking account. I was the one paying them in August or September of 2010. Now all of the sudden, they are calling me, harassing me that we owe them $19 inconvenience fees. My husband asked them to send us a bill and we would gladly pay it. They said they would not and wanted to talk to me to give them the "okay, do it". I said, no. They would have to send me a bill. He got very angry and told us that he would call back everyday until we paid it. My husband tried to tell him, if he had all my bank information, then why has all this time gone by and they have not taken out these fees in the first place? He said he would have to get my approval to proceed with the payment. Again, we told him send us a bill and we will pay it. They said no! I have never once received a bill from them except the very first one saying I owed them money many months ago. We paid that. What more do they want? Can they hurt our credit over $19 that we don't owe? It sounds to me that they are trying to scam us.
