If you have to deal with debt collectors after going through a major medical crisis and can’t pay your bills, Halsted Financial Services would be my choice over and over again. I’m struggling financially so bad while and after going through cancer and treatment, my boss giving my job away while I’m out on short-term disability, etc., and most debt collectors are complete jerks and just don’t try to help…instead, they start calling everyone in the country with the same last name as mine and harassing them as well! Talk about humiliating, (especially when they’re calling my ex-husband’s family)! Halsted Financial worked with me, gave me some payment plan options, also reducing the amount I owe! I wish they were the debt collector for everyone else that I owe money to, so I could be treated with dignity and understanding!

My experience with Halsted has been a blessing to me. After obtaining a loan, I had to take my mom in to care for her and personally, my life was turned upside down. I never thought about not paying the debt, but I was struggling to make payments. I'm thankful that Halsted gave me the opportunity to lower monthly payments which made it easier for me. After caring for my mom for almost nine years, my mom passed away a few weeks ago and in the midst of my loss, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I had completed the payments. Though I am still grieving, timing is everything because though I'm grieving, just that little bit of good news made my day.

I want to give a super great shout-out to Halsted Financial Services!!! They believed in me and didn’t throw me under the bus when what appeared to look like I was letting them down on purpose, During the last 6 months, my payments were declined from my account because the correct account information wasn’t updated by me. I also I’ve had trouble ever since getting the iPhone 16, EVERYTHING I WAS USED TO, changed. But tonight as I was clicking on random emails and files I found out that I still had the opportunity to pay late and it TOOK THE GREATEST LOAD OFF OF MY MIND!!! I wish all financial institutions would follow suit! Gloria J.

I’ve been really trying to work on my credit and catch back up on everything I owe from a very hard and low time in my life. With Halstead they’ve given me affordable options and payment plans and made it possible for me to be able to pay my debts to the people I owe them to which means a lot to me. And they’ve always given a discount off of the full price I owed, which with being a mom of three kids has helped me tremendously. Thank you guys so much for being one of these types of companies but also still thinking about the small people when collecting money for a company.

Hello, I just wanted to reach out and explain my situation. I really appreciate your company and have always thought you all were one of the most affordable and reliable electric companies. Previously, I had my electricity account set up at a friend’s house. At the time, we had an agreement that they would be responsible for paying the final electricity bill when the service ended. Unfortunately, they told me they were going to take care of that last payment, but they never actually paid it.

I love the fact that I can get in a payment plan and pay everything back. I really wish you all had other accounts where it can be done because I would do it. Thanks for the help and getting me back on track.

Took a $617 debt from a payday cash advance from years ago and let me pay $247.00 over 5 months at under $50 a month on two months and then $60 the rest. Very reasonable and will help my credit in the long run. Every once in awhile I run across a business that doesn’t screw over all their clients and what not and this is one of those such businesses. They did right by me 100%. Thanks guys.

In trying to catch up with the past debt Halsted is great with having different options to tailor my needs. I so thank you for that Halsted, I super really appreciate how y'all left me options, very grateful to catch up.
