I was given an opportunity that most lenders refused to even consider. Having been rejected over something that seemed insurmountable can be demoralizing. But being given a chance to work through all of the issues with the same goal in mind meant a lot to us.

Jonathan was very helpful in my first home buying process. He answered all questions I asked no matter the day or time and if he was not afraid to say if he didn't know the answer but he found it out and reported back to me in a timely manner.

Overall very smooth process with good communication. The final page on closing was a solicitation for robocalls and spam to my email. I would have preferred that this page was left out of the closing papers. I would also request that New American funding participate with mint.com. I use this website for all of my budgeting.

What a great company!! At the time I reached out, I hadn't met the minimum time qualifications for being in my house. We had a good experience overall. We were always treated kindly. All the people we dealt with were professional and pleasant. Our only frustration was how long it took to close but that was at least in part because we are retired and it was hard to show all the places our funds come from. Michelle was super to work with and we would highly recommend her to others.

I already explained our experience, on the previous screens. Go look there. Glenn was better at recognizing our questions and requirements than your survey developers obviously are. Within the loan requirements (and I know what those are; I was a regulatory auditor), Glenn was able to work with us and deliver.

Arjun ** is easy to understand, explains everything thoroughly and is readily available if you need something. The only trouble I had was scheduling a notary to come to my house. Brenda ** gave me 2 different dates and 2 different times which made things a little confusing, but all in all I had a good experience.

We had a little bit of a communication issue when setting up the appointment with the notary to close and we were disappointed that some of our terms changed last minute but we are pleased they worked so hard to make the refinance work for us. Overall very happy.

My Experience with New American Funding is one of satisfaction. My credit was not too good but Matt looked for ways to help me without judging or making me feel bad. He treated me with respect, kindness and helped me through the process of refinancing.

Working with Jennifer ** was fabulous. Communication with Kian was difficult at times. He didn’t explain things very well. I had to constantly stay in contact with him because things were not getting done. I did the leg work on a lot of our needed materials because Kian & the others kept dragging their feet. Once everything was in place the closing was smooth. It was just getting there.

Loan refinance went very smoothly and was efficiently executed. Agent was helpful in determining the best option for my new loan. I was able to do a vast majority of the paperwork online which saved me time in my busy schedule. Overall very seamless operation.

My experience with Devin ** and NAFINC has been an excellent one, quick smooth transaction. Devin was prompt on responding to my calls, texts, or emails. This was a very smooth transaction from my first communication with Devin. Even in comparison to local verbal requests, he had all the details upfront, not having to check with this person or that one. A very smooth process and very efficiently handled.

Celina **, our loan consultant, is absolutely amazing. Do everything you can to keep her. New American was also a pleasure to work with. My only negative comment concerns our Loan Processor Stephanie **. Stephanie did not seemed interested in the process and it was not exactly easy to get ahold of her. I hope it has to do with Covid so I don't want to be too hard on her - I do not know what she was dealing with at the time. In any case, I would recommend NAF to friends and family and would be interested in what other services NAF has to offer me and my family in the present.

Josh was communicative every step of the way which was especially appreciated since we are first time home buyers. My experience was good. The only downside and it wasn't that big of a deal, an appraisal of my home should have been set up early on. It wasn't and as a result, it delayed my closing by ~ 2 weeks. I would not hesitate to do it all over again.

Very easy process, a little slower than expected, but still very happy with results. Every agent that we spoke with was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the beginning communication was a bit confusing and not sure if I was talking to the correct person since they were calling from their private number instead of a "New American Fund" number and was not comfortable giving personal information without a way to verify their credentials.

We 1st called Austin during the start of the Pandemic. Unfortunately it did not work for us at that timed, but we promised ourselves we would call him again. We did, and we now have our loan. Thank you Ausy.

Vantage dropped the ball at the end by sending physical checks made out to the vendors. Major inconvenience to drive 30 minutes and then pay additional to Fed Ex to expedite and then still have to make an additional $1300 in payments because they would not post in time. Now it will tie that money up for up to three months minus the additional interest and postage for the refund and processing fees for the refund check. What a way to finish out. William was fantastic but the Title company dropped the ball.

This was our 2nd great refinance experience with Utsav! He is always prompt, responsive, respectful and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend him to others and if there is another refinance in our future, Utsav will be our first call.

We'd planned to simply refinance our existing mortgage, before rates rose, then do a HELOC in a few months, when we were ready to begin renovations. However, when we were told about the ability to do a cash-out refinance now, with the ability to repay any money (above $5,000, at any time in the future) that we didn't use for our renovations, and do a recast of the mortgage at the SAME new rate, we were blown away. This option gives us the cash-in-hand to tackle all our renovations at once, at an interest rate lower than a standard HELOC (whose rates often flux with prime rate rises.) And since our Structural Engineer just told us we don't have to do major structural work, we'll be able to return a large chunk of our cash-out, recast, and reduce our monthly mortgage payments, once we're done with all the renovations in a few months.

I want to say that my experience with new American funding was excellent and their team is very responsive to give me prompt updates all thru the process. I would highly rate their service and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for their loan needs.

Overall it was a great experience. Jay was quick to respond, present to talk to, and very timely with his emails and return calls. Even with the 2 to 3 hour time difference it was still a good experience and I definitely will recommend this company to others and use it again in the future.

My loan officer, Scarlett **, was extremely helpful, but whoever was in underwriting was ridiculous with all the verification of employment requirements, especially when it came to the fact that I work from home. All of the hoops to jump through on that one point was beyond common sense. It held up the process for no reasonably good reason. It was more than verified that I was employed, with whom I was employed, and what I made on a twos basis. Whether I did so from home or in an office is irrelevant to the basics of being verified as gainfully employed and have the means to pay the mortgage. Common sense and in light of all the provided supporting documentation, did not rule the day in this case. Thankfully, Scarlett and Robin were awesome.

Andrew was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He made using my VA loan a possibility and I went from being a homeless veteran to owning the house I grew up in. I could not be more grateful and happy to finally have a place of my own.

The initial steps of the process was great while we worked with Cassandra **. Once we made it to the underwriting process, I was disappointed with the lack of proactive communication, responsiveness while working with Ashley **. If I didn't reach out to her, I didn't hear anything. There's was a point where she didn't return our calls. It took me threatening to take our business elsewhere and the poor communication continued after that.

I was always a little wary of refinancing due to the horror stories I have heard before. This process was fast and easy. They stayed in contact and answered any questions I had quickly. Best part was that I didn't need to get an appraisal so that saved me some money and I got a better interest rate because I went through Credit Karma. Couldn't have asked for a better process.

Everything was dealt with in a timely manner, except for the property appraisal. The real estate market has exploded in this area, it stand to reason that more companies should be considered in the appraisal part of the process. We experienced a delay of almost a month, because of this.

I appreciated working with Joe ** and Brigette **. They followed through on everything they said they would and helped me rescore my credit to get excellent terms on my mortgage refi. Both were extremely helpful and quick to respond. The only issue I had was communicating costs occasionally resulted in confusion - numbers discussed on the phone or in email with Joe didn't appear to match up with the numbers I would later see on loan estimate docs. I don't think Joe was ever misleading me, just that the numbers he was seeing in his tools didn't match up with what I would see on my end, and I couldn't figure out how they were correlated. Despite this, I was pleased with my experience working with Joe.

We also have a great experience and this time was no different. Always quality service and the loan was completed on time. From start to finish we have nothing bad to say. Even the notary was smooth and friendly.

We are really happy with our loan. But please be aware that not all of their loan officers have the same level of professionalism. We had a bad experience with our first assigned loan officer and we were ready to go somewhere else. So glad Jeff ** took over our loan application. Jeff was amazing, ALWAYS available, he made the process painless.

I had read reviews about refinancing with this company, not all pleasant, yet decided to proceed with this company. Jaren ** answered my call and I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, professional agent. He was extremely thorough and explained every step of the process. Once all documents were sent to him, I just needed to wait for the closing date. He did his best to keep in touch with me every step along the way.

I enjoyed working with New American Funding, and they were very thorough in requesting and collecting docs, although there were some documentation oversights that almost prevented the loan to close and fund. I would like to see the communication between the company and client a bit more streamlined and fluid. There were a few occasions where anxiety sat in. Nevertheless, they were able to fix the issues and I was able to close.

I loved working with Matt, my loan officer, but once I moved beyond that initial stage I was annoyed with the invasiveness of the loan application process compared with other companies. I had to write several letters to explain why I wanted the house, why I was willing to purchase above appraised value, etc. I didn't have to do anything similar when purchasing my first house through another lender, and my ex-partner with very similar finances to me didn't need to do so to purchase his new house. My friends and family also have never had to write letters explaining their motives or thought process. I hated it, I found it extremely intrusive, and I only continued with New American so that I wouldn't have another credit inquiry on my record from changing lenders. I would not recommend New American because of that unnecessary invasion of privacy.

As a Loan Officer, she handled everything from start to finish with great care. She is very intentional in what she does. Leai makes sure that things are understood, and she has warm delivery when she speaks.
