I tried to send a wire transfer and the incompetent staff did not listen even after questioning what they did regarding the currency type. I went back for them to correct to which they said “no problem” but instead took more money from me and I am out almost $600. I tried to get the money back but they refused as well and they wasted months of my time with this! I will be taking my personal and business accounts elsewhere and will not recommend them to anyone!

Rude customer reps for Chase Premier Business Checking have hung up on me, put me on hold for 45 minutes, told me if I don't shut and listen to them they were going to hang up on me and then never told me why one deposit of a certified check was held for 10 days when just the previous week a check for the same amount was cleared the next day for check written on my previous bank. Secondly, they oddly held my BillPay payments. Yes, checks I was sending through my account they held up. When I called to find out why I could never get a clear answer. Plus the call center is the rudest I have ever encountered. We have all of our accounts linked and pay some bills that are in my name and some in the companies' name, however, unlike Wells Fargo, there isn't an option to change the name on the check being sent. I think that may have been the confusion, but no one would ever really say.
I filed a report with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the corporate office finally returned my calls, however, in the typical bad customer service the call was just to tell me they'd received my complaint and would get back to me in 15 days. The person name that was supposed to call me hasn't called me even though on the initial call he said it would be much sooner. Run, don't walk away from Chase Premier Business Checking.

I was scammed $250 on Zelle, I contacted Chase and they took the details and said they would contact zelle and file a claim. 2 months later I call them again and they stated that there was nothing they could do. Why do they offer a service where there's no protection against fraud?

Over the course of 5 months, someone used my ATM card and PIN to withdraw small amounts of cash from a non Chase ATM in my neighborhood. Because the amounts were small, I did not realize this was happening until there were several withdrawals made totaling $424. I reported the withdrawals to Chase as soon as I realized what was happening within 60 days of the last incident. Chase reversed the charges. About a week or so after, I get a letter from Chase saying they had conducted an 'investigation' saying due to the fact the pin was used right the first time and geographic proximity to me, that they would not honor the credits and reversed the charges. I called to speak to a manager who accused me and/or someone in my family of using the card. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Chase responded saying that it was past the 60 days of reporting and the they could not reimburse me my money. This is incorrect because I notified chase within 60 days of the last transaction, but they gave me the runaround for 30 days, so when I filed the compliant with the CFPB, it was past the 60 day threshold- very convenient for them. Chase did not bother to look at my ATM transaction history for the last 15 years- I never-ever use non Chase ATMs. I have a Chase bank ATM within 2 miles of my residence. My card and pin information were copied and extracted at a store from a merchant's iPad transaction. Chase will not protect your money and will make you liable for the money stolen from your bank account. I even have a police report, they don't care about that. Do not bank with Chase unless you don't care what happens to your money. I am taking my money and my business elsewhere.

I have been a customer with chase for over a decade, and while they have never offered an abundance of perks for banking there, they at least offered a few niceties, one of which was being able to report fraud through their banking app. They have recently removed that option, and after having fraudulent charges put on my account, I spent an hour and a half on hold last night before being told over the phone they could do nothing to remove the charges, and I would have to call the fraud department in the morning. I thought I would have better luck going I to my local branch, but I have been waiting here for over 45 minutes while being passed twice by the people working here, because someone emptying my account is apparently not consequential enough to worry about. If you are looking for a bank, look elsewhere.

I am disabled. Over the last 14 months a person who was supposed to be helping me systematically emptied my checking account and maxed out my credit card. I reported this activity to Chase fraud (as well as the police and USPS). Chase's response was to arbitrarily close my accounts without informing me. As a result all my utility bills have been cancelled so I am facing loss of electricity and communication and I am in danger of being evicted, I cannot even buy food. I have tried to contact Chase several times to see what can be done but they have been very offhand and refuse to put me in contact with anyone who can help. If this is their policy for treating customers who have been loyal for almost twenty years I would strongly recommend thinking twice before opening an account with Chase. I have documents to back up the comments I have made. Frank **.

When I changed my address on my USPS account and relocated to my current address I received a USPS moving packet containing several of my new neighborhood’s business advertisements which included coupons and discounts. One coupon was from Chase Bank promoting a $250 reward for opening a new checking account with them. The couple had a promo code to be applied with your checking account application, instructions to set up direct deposit within 60 days and maintain the direct deposit for six months. After meeting the requirements a total of $250 would be deposited into your account. I’m retired on a low fixed income and I basically get my monthly check on the third of each month and after paying my rent, bills and do my shopping I am broke by the fourth or fifth of the month.
I can always use a little extra money so on the fourth of September this year, 2022, I applied for a checking account with Chase, inserted the promo code and deposited my last bit of money, $250 and I was approved instantly. I was given an account number with the routing number and date by which I had to have direct deposit set up. I was told to be expecting my new ATM card in the mail in 3-5 days which was really putting me on the edge because I still needed funds to do laundry and buy groceries. I received my ATM card in three days, activated it immediately and verified my funds of $250. Next I rushed to the grocery store to get the most of my needs and quarters to do my laundry but when I got to the cash register my ATM wouldn’t work.
To top it off another cashier nosed over and loudly accused me of trying to steal. I was embarrassed and humiliated especially since I had just moved there and I was thinking that possibly new neighbors witnessed the scene and would likely regard me as a thief. The next day I couldn’t get into the new account I had setup with Chase Bank, I had a very hard time calling Chase bank and got the total run around before someone finally told me that ‘They’ which she couldn’t elaborate on who ‘They’ were, had made a decision NOT to honor my application and or open my bank account for which again she couldn’t elaborate on why. She just kept repeating over and over again that it was the banks decision and that ‘They’ had decided to decline my application without specification as to ‘They’re’ reasons and that I would be receiving my funds back in a check within five to seven days.
Well after calling and calling and being spoken to rudely and NOT receiving my funds within five to seven days putting me into severe financial distress, not having any food or supplies or clean clothes I advised them that I was going to notify the Attorney General to report them for fraud. Finally after a month I received my $250 back without explanation and or an apology. I had a previous history with Chase years earlier when they denied opening up a checking account because they didn’t approve my application then but I just accepted it because they didn’t have any of my money. This their empty promises and holding onto my money for a month really hurt me. I feel that Chase bank entices with empty promises to hold peoples funds and make interest.

I rarely have to go into the bank, but have a little more frequently lately because they didn't fix the local ATM I use for almost a month. I have been a longtime customer and went in to ask if they would witness a paper that would allow me to transfer money to their bank. The witch at the door refused. She didn't say anything verbally I could actually complain about as rude, but her whole tone and attitude radiated contempt.
If they didn't want to do that fine, but say it nicely in private, not in a loud rude voice in the middle of a lobby with everyone looking at me, including the other bank employees as if I was some kind of criminal. I didn't like her attitude and I'm sick of having to explain my banking business in the lobby with god knows who listening. If they don't do that fine, I'm okay with them refusing, but it should be done in an office in a more polite manner. As it stands now, I will be using another branch while I actively search for another bank that treats customers better.

My mother passed away over 2 months ago. Chase put a freeze on her social security check that was supposed to be for the previous month to which she was entitled. I contacted Social Security and they sent me a letter to release her funds to me. I immediately took the letter to one of their branches and they said it would take 3 business days. I waited 7 business days and still nothing was done so I called their deceased customer department. This person told me that it could take 2 weeks to complete. So, I waited until the next week and when still nothing was done, I went to a different branch. I gave the person the letter and she sent it over again and told me she would get back in contact with me once she received a reply. She called me today and told me that the letter that Social Security sent was not sufficient and they needed several other pieces of information to be listed on the letter.
I don't understand why their A/R department could not contact me to let me know the first time around. I could have already taken care of this. I contacted Social Security yet again and they said, no, the letter they sent was the correct one but that they would write up a new letter that included all of the information that Chase Bank wanted. That will take about another 2 weeks to receive. By that time, she will have been deceased almost 3 months. They can and will hold on to the funds for up to 6 months. That's a long time to have to be paying off my mother's credit cards myself since she doesn't have any money because they took it. If this new letter is not sufficient, I will not only cancel her accounts but I will also be canceling my accounts. I have jumped through enough hoops for this bank and will not be doing so anymore.

Chase is a joke. I have dealt with them on auto loans, a credit card and a checking account. In every aspect, they have failed TERRIBLY on customer service and had at least one major shortcoming and mistake in each of these areas. Trying to work issues out with them (that they have caused!!) is an absolute nightmare. I have had to use their branches a handful of times and experienced idiotic tellers (seriously, I told this guy I wanted to reregister my vehicle and he told his boss I wanted to pay off my loan...lol), I have received the answer "uhhh...I don't know" multiple times and it goes on and on. I will be closing all of my accounts and credit card with them. You will not be able to solve any problem that arises with them, and there will be problems....many! Do whatever you can to stay far, far away.

Deposited $30k in checking, wanted to purchase a CD. Sadly, there is a 14 day hold on checks at Chase. Why? It's easy to look me up. I used to work at Chase. I have a Chase credit card (for 15 years). I'm a huge Chase fan and wanted to set up a checking account, purchase a CD and start doing more business with Chase. Instead, I got sent to India to find out why my 14 day hold on a liquid funds check is still on hold. After 15+ minutes of waiting I decided I'd write a review about what it's like to be a small time client of a NY Bank. Thanks. I'll come back and let you know how this ends. But it's a little crazy. They took the money out of my account 12 days ago - but it's a risk? I don't get it. Thanks India.

Do not use Chase Bank, their customer service is horrible and they lie about their services. I obtained a physical check from my employer, (have been getting direct deposit for 8.5 years, this just happened to be a bonus). I checked the terms from the app for taking a picture of your check to deposit and it said that it would be deposited usually within 1 day of request. I thought, "Nice I don't have to drive 30 minutes to my bank", the next day there was an 11 day hold put on my money.
I called the holds department which is outsourced to another country, can't understand them, have to have them keep repeating themselves. They inform me that there is nothing they can do to get the hold released and that I am basically out of luck until they decide to release the hold. I have been banking with chase for over 10 years. Once my money gets in I will be cancelling my chase banking, savings, and both credit cards I have with them and telling everyone else I know to do the same. I have never been treated so poorly by any financial institution in my entire life.

Once the check was deemed not fraudulent they refused to unlock our acct despite needing $ to book a flight to go see my mother who has stage 4 uterine cancer. Worst bank ever. ATMs rarely work and the employees don't care. ONE teller line open. Meanwhile there are 5-6 people in suits sitting near desks laughing it up. When I asked them why they didn't help the customers they said ''We're not tellers, we're bankers.'' Tells you all you need to know about this bank. LOTS of help starting a new account, but after that you stand in line forever for your banking business. Branch Manager, old lady with blonde hair, is something that rhymes with Witch. She could care less if people stand in line for days. All she does is the Business lane of the drive-thru and it's never busy. Stay away. There's good reason this branch gets 2 stars. They treat their customers like garbage.
My new bank is exceptional. Lots of tellers and happy Branch Managers who are happy to help you. Witch broad could learn a lesson from them. I believe this branch will close soon. Not soon enough. Also be aware they can close your account and keep YOUR money. Don't bother calling, customer service is a joke. All they do is transfer you 3-5 times and the end result is either a lie or they can't help you. I filed with BBB to get MY money. They close my account and the money is no longer theirs. They think they're above it all and the estimate now to get MY money is 3-4 weeks. SO glad I'm away from this bank and it's Nazi Branch Manager.

I have been trying to get my direct deposit going and this has been an ordeal. Now I have been depositing checks for company for 3 months and they just put my check on hold for 12 days. I called and it’s hard to understand when everyone you speak to has a accent. I finally get to a guy that tells me it will clear at 11 pm. I am going out of town today and guess what no money. I have 20.00 in my acct. I have had to cancel my trip. I am so upset I was going to visit my kids and grandkids. But how can I travel 250 miles on 20.00?
I was going to go to a branch but they are closed for Veterans Day. And if they were open I can’t talk to anyone about my money without a appt. How can you do business with a company that has no hours. They should be tripping over themselves to keep you happy. But they have gotten too big for their britches. I am looking elsewhere for me a bank. I wanted Chase because of my traveling. But when you keep my money for whatever ever reasons I cannot do business with you.

Today is the 29 of October and not only the check did not clear they closed my account. After about 10 attempts to speak with representatives and being hung up on several times and being told to do different things to rectify the situation and doing everything they told me to do which included getting the maker of the check to walk into the local branch and provide his account number, identification, and llc. Documents to no avail has my money been returned to me. They will not release the funds to anyone not me or the maker of the check. This is outright robbery. At least I have not got any. But the most important reason; the people working at the agency I often use, "Santa Monica Blvd and La Brea Ave in Hollywood, CA", are very unpleasant to deal with. They behave as if they are doing a favor to you by helping you with your transactions. Zero would be a deserved star for…Zero would be a deserved star for Chase. As one customer/reviewer put: Legal Thief. That's a truthful description. Customer of Chase bank for over 25 years. Retired, moving overseas and put a request for a cash withdrawal. First at my local branch, was ignored with no callback and had to drive there twice in 10 days. All they did at the end: gave me a phone# of Santa Cruz branch - this # is unreachable. Drove there, talked to the manager and didn't hear back for another week.
Drove there again and had to ask for an Executive office #. Got a case number, was calling a person handling my case for 10 days, she never called me with any info. Escalated the case and finally, after dealing with Chase for 2.5 months, was told that I can pick up my cash in 3 visits. They gave me days and time when I should come to SC branch to collect. At the day the first withdrawal should be, this person from Executive office called me 3 hours prior to my visit to Chase and stated coldly: "We are closing your account and you can come prior to Monday for a cashier check from them."
In all this time I went through a total humiliation of begging to "Please, let me to withdraw my money." Nervous break downs, had days when I felt I'm nearing a heart attack. An Elderly Abuse and humiliation - that's the only how I can describe how Chase treats the customer with the highest credit score, diligent, truthful, with the large amount in the Chase account.
Every day of those 2.5 months I had to answer over and over why I need a cash withdrawal. And the day before they scheduled for me to come in and take a first set of cash, they called and interrogated with as many questions. Made me feel like a criminal. On top of everything else they put me through and didn't release a penny to me from my own money. Chase just decided to close my account instead...after telling me that I can collect my money in 3 visits to the bank. After so many years of deposing into Chase, if I knew how it will end to withdraw my money - NEVER would have opened an account. Chase takes your money, but won't give it back to you when retirement or time comes and you need your money.

We have been with Chase for quite sometime. We have 2 checking, 2 savings, and a mortgage with them (for now). I have waited weeks to write this because I needed to remove the emotion from showing in the review.
12-Sept I stopped by my neighborhood Chase on North Ave near Damen in Chicago to get cash. There were signs taped on their outer ATM stations that the bank was temporarily closed. I was going to a cash only business so I decided to just pay the fee and tried to use my card to make a purchase of $510 but received a message that I had exceeded my daily withdrawal limit. I stepped outside to call Chase. I explained the situation to the representative and he did not understand AT ALL what I was saying. He said, "I have to transfer you to a different department for debit card help." As I was asking why calling the number on the back of my card is not the right number, he hung up on me AND locked my account. I tried to call back but the message said hold time between 20 and 30 mins. I had to wait till next to go to a branch. Summary:
1) Chase has restrictions on how you can use your money (you are allowed $500 per day from non-chase ATMs so definitely not a card to travel with out of the US).
2) I'm surviving cancer and was trying to pick up medication.
3) I could not pick up my meds because of Chase so I had a horrible, painful evening.
4) Why do you off-shore customer service? Chances are that the person calling is either upset or possibly calling for something detailed. So ending up speaking with someone who does not have a good command of the language the customer speaks is very risky and lead to loss of business. Example, because of this ridiculous scenario, I want to leave Chase ASAP!
Stop being cheap with off-shoring such a critical customer facing role! If someone is calling from The US, calls should be routed to a strong English speaker.

I paid my rent last month using Zelle, no problem. Tried to pay my rent today and got a message saying I’m limited to only $500. The only reason I opened this account with Chase was because of the higher daily Zelle limit. Their website is still advertising this limit. I called customer service who verified that my limit is $2000 and they said they had a recent system upgrade and that multiple people had complained about this. She said they were working on it and to try again later.
Tried later and no change. I contacted Customer Support on Twitter. I received multiple bot messages stating that I should just lower the amount I’m sending. Sorry, but I can’t tell my landlord my rent will be late because Chase says I need to send $500 payments over multiple days and MAYBE they’ll eventually reevaluate their limit. After DMing them my info, they again said that I should just send lower payments. They said that it only looks like my limit is $2000 but it really could be lower. So basically they’re lying to customers about their Zelle limit. Oh, and if there was a limit on my landlord’s recipient account, then why was I able to Zelle him the full amount last month.
If the intended functionality of the upgrade was to reset to lower limits then I should have been notified before I went through the embarrassment of having to tell my landlord the rent is going to be late. Incredibly poor customer service; one representative tells me it’s an upgrade issue and will be fixed and another representative says that’s the way it is now and offers an untenable solution. They will be losing my business.

This is one of the worst banks on the face of the earth. When I first opened my account here in 2012, the customer service was great. You could get thru to a rep within 5 minutes and your issue resolved quickly. Now, in 2022, it is HORRIFIC service with someone from India on the other side of the world answering customer service lines. There have been so many screwups on my account within the last 2 years. First, they let an overdraft of over $6,000 go thru on my account which is insane that I did not authorize. They are supposed to monitor accounts to make sure things like this don't happen. I had to wait over a month for them to credit the money back into my account and resolve this.
Second, they went and cancelled free checking accounts behind my back with no notification at all. They started charging monthly service fees and I caught them doing it. I had to get all those service fees reversed. I then chose what type of account I wanted with the new accounts since they were no longer free. I was told that my account number would stay the same and I could use the same debit card as before with no problem. That was a lie! They went and cancelled my old card behind my back when I was on vacation out of state and my card started declining transactions.
I again had to order another card to replace the one they cancelled, and it was another nightmare. They told me I would get a tracking number for a rush delivery order, and I called back three times over a 24-hour period, and they still did not have the tracking number to give me. I am done with this bank for good. I have been a customer for over 10 years, and this is the final straw. I am fed up with the long hold times, mismanaged screwups and inept customer service.

Chase has cashed plenty of the checks that I have issued in the past. One of my Real Estate Professionals made the mistake of opening an account with them. Since she is a high producer, she deposited large checks. Apparently, Chase does not know how to handle big checks, so they contacted their antiquated system called Lexis Nexis to verify my company which has been open for over 7 years. The only system they can use is Lexis Nexis. This is the system they use to gather information on companies. They supplied Chase with the incorrect company name and the phone number of a deceased person. Since they can not verify the company, they refuse to release the funds back to their customer.
They have been sitting on her money for over a month now. When I called my bank to recall the funds, they can't due to the payment being made in paper check and they were cashed, so no stop payment can be made. These Morons refuse to find another way to verify my company so they will sit on her money indefinitely. Now I get to hire an attorney to sue them to release these funds. Stay away from these incompetent fools. Chase is a big bank that hides behind policies and can not think outside the box. They will continue to feed you excuses and revert back to "There is nothing we can do".
Well, this is damaging my contractor financially and they don't care because it is their policy and there is nothing that they can do. We have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this. So, the moral of the story is, do not open accounts at Chase bank because these fools will keep your money any chance they get and hide behind "policy". Hey Chase... There is this new invention called google. Oh, and you can go to the Nevada state website and look up business there too. I know this might be difficult for you since you morons can't say anything but "Sorry, we can't help you".

Worst of the worst in every aspect I've experienced. Other banks will waive $10 service fee the first time your deposit drops below the threshold. They didn't. I've applied for multiple credit cards from different issuers with an excellent FICO/TU score around 780, they were the only one declined my request. The second time I got approved, but got the lowest credit limit. Customer service agent was incredibly rude. I was trying to deposit a check around $1200 and the teller asked me where I got it and some other questions. I answered and asked why she asked. She explicitly meant I might get caught like a criminal. I was so offended and this never happened to me when dealing with any customer service from any organization anywhere anytime!

Online banking through Chase for the first time is made unnecessarily difficult by the obfuscation of which SWIFT/BIC you're intended to be using, as JPMorgan / Chase has several, and does not provide a resolute answer through their third party customer service provider, through direct deposit forms, or on the app until you're able to get a bank statement with the correct SWIFT listed. Ludicrous.

Chase used to have all our business, but as our needs changes we found: 1) they do not trust their bankers, and will not even allow them to open a new account. We cannot do any new business with them. 2) Their commercial mortgage rates are not competitive. We found they are 50 basis points higher than other excellent lenders. 3) Their business auto loans are impossible to process - it is like they are not in the business. Chase has become so large that they are essentially impotent and incapable.

Essentially Chase has stolen our money. We deposited an earnest money check into our checking account. They flagged it fraud. Yet they ran the check. This closed our account to give us no access to our acct and money. All associated acts closed as well. This is our primary bill pay acct. We have attempted everything chase asked of us and the large brokerage corporation the check came from were diligent in providing the necessary identification. Chase literally asked us to bring an employee down to the branch to verify the check could be written. They asked for their CEO!!! The check was cashed and held and we have no access to pay our bills that have come due. They not only stopped the check but also all the money in our account! They have asked the bank of Virginia to pull the money back but this is impossible if they run the check.
Bank of Virginia and the brokerage firm have washed their hands of it and explained that it is between us and our bank Chase. Which does not feel good as they have taken our money and provided no realistic way to resolve the issue. We have accrued late fees and damage to our credit as a result of banking with Chase. We still have no access to about 7k of our own money. I would tell anyone listening to avoid Chase bank.

I spoke to 4 different departments within Chase and was confident that the proper issues were handled under identity theft. Wrong nothing was filed within Chase. Since then speaking to different departments has proven pointless and accessing the proper documents to support my claim and enable me to file identity theft with my insurance company has reached dead ends. Chase is at fault as to the way things transpired with the identity theft and the way they issued "reversals" on my account. I have file a complaint with CFPB who in turn gave it to the FDIC for investigation. An independent public firm is also involved to investigate Chase and potentially questionable business practices. My end opinion is Chase does not care in the least about their customers.

Per the Chase Customer's request, and with him sitting in my office, I called to verify the check. A call back was requested, due to high call volume, supposedly within 23 minutes. 2 and 1/2 hours later still no call back. I finally called again, and after jumping through a bunch of hoops, was connected to the branch manager. She assured me that the check was deposited, but a standard 10 day hold was placed.
The Chase customer is complaining to me, because they have advised him the funds will not be released, and his account is frozen. I tried to stop payment on the check, in order to reissue a Cashier's Check, but Chase has already sent the check through, and it has cleared my account. Updated on 06/25/2022: I had already written about my experience with Chase fumbling a change of address for over a year which apparently was holding up me getting my money. The NIGHTMARE CONTINUES! I was desperate to have funds wired for the purchase of a property for my daughter whose lease was expiring 2 days after we would close. So not only would I not get the property but where would she live? I literally was on the phone ALL DAY for 3 days trying to find someone who could do something and the answer was "we are working on it." (By the way, Greg who is the man I started with told me that all that phoning might have just slowed things down! He must have gotten calls from at least a dozen people in my regard! I responded that when he blocks my calls, does not call me, does not respond to any of the more than dozen emails I've sent, let's just push the fault back on GREG where it belonged, not me!)
Finally, I encountered a woman who managed to push the address change through, overnight update and next day the wire! Yippee! She introduced me to the wire dept. and said she'd call me when wire went through. She called and I was relieved - WRONG. I called the Title company, no money. I call the next morning - no money - THIS IS THE LAST DAY I CAN GET THE MONEY TO THEM! Chase screwed up on the wire and had a charge from BofA of $45 taken from my funds like a bounced check fee. So then Chase had to scramble to get approval to put those funds into my account and figure out what they did wrong - it was escalated and the manager was telling me he was doing all he could do, wire was sent - I received a transaction number to give to the Title company!
But just to make sure my daughter wasn't homeless my friend said he'd have the funds wired from his account at Park National Bank in OH. He got on the phone, did the transaction, got confirmation wire was sent - all within 2 hours - AND they told him he needs to update his address!!! At 4:02 I received email from Title company - They have money from First Financial in TX and Park National in OH so my contract is covered - NOTHING FROM CHASE! Talking to the realtor and saying "Don't do business with Chase" and I shared my hellish experience.
He said working with his clients Chase is the ABSOLUTE WORSE lender he has ever had to deal with. And when you call for help - help isn't to be found. He said he had even made it to a Vice-President level seeking help and the VEEP said "just have them move the close date out!" IT IS A CONTRACT YOU DON'T PAY LATE! RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN AWAY from Chase for ALL your services. They are huge and have too much process for their incompetent personnel to wade through! I still have to try to get my money from them SOMEHOW so I can repay my friend, but at least I'll get my property.
Original Review: I had inheritance that I split between 2 banks, Chase had part of it. It stayed there for about a decade. I moved out of state - wasn't getting statements because my address change did not go through. I LITERALLY have tried to get my address changed for more than a year. Phone calls, emails, forms, I was even eventually was told the fastest way to get it done is to go to a local Chase bank. I drove 30 miles to do that, sat for almost 1/2 hour while it was being done, I even got checks printed to go with me, with my new address! I am now purchasing real estate with this money, need money wired. I explain this to my "customer care" person, he said it takes up to 2 days to sell my positions. OK. I send him the wiring instructions which he doesn't do anything with because he went on vacation! OK, then he sends a form for me to complete which I need to enter information from wiring instructions. Why didn't I get this form 10 days ago?
Remain calm, complete and submit ASAP. Then there needed to be a confirming call (further delay) before submitting the form for processing. This was Monday/Tuesday activity. FRIDAY - I receive an email that I need to complete an address change form!!!! I NEED MY MONEY TO BE WIRED TO TITLE COMPANY!!! OR I LOSE THE PROPERTY. More than a year and they still can't manage to look back at the previous forms, especially that done by THEIR BANK and I'm supposed to fill out the form again? How much time have I had to put into this damn address change? How much risk are they putting me through. In contrast to my other bank from which I needed funds, First Financial in Texas, I reach out to POC, state the amount to be wired for deposit, it's done before close of business that day. Contact him again for the amount that needs wired from my account there - Done before close of business.
Chase! Well, it takes a form, then another form, then the address form change again, then I escalated to manager who supposedly has forced the address change through today, but overnight update - which means MONDAY we can start on the wire part which may take a couple days. UNBELIEVABLE!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER BANK!

Consequent upon this offer, we opened on 05/27/2021 a business account at Sherman TX branch in the name of **, having Account # ending with last 4 digit **. Mr. Michael ** was the Relationship Banker, who opened this account, and we gave him this code. We fulfilled all requisite conditions and waited for more than 4 months of opening the account but till date, did not get our promotional money. We telephonically contacted the bank, and they informed that branch banker has not registered our promotion code in the system.
Since it was an internal matter of the bank and their employee, we sent a formal complaint on the Bank’s “communication system of secure message” and Alma, replied on 05/10/2022 that our account is not registered under any promotional offer and asked us to contact the branch. We again requested them to verify it from Mr. Michael **, their banker at Sherman branch. But on 05/13/2022 Jonathan, again replied that our account is not registered in any award and insisted us to meet the banker at branch. As insisted by Jonathan, we had scheduled a meeting with Michael at Sherman branch on 05/16/2022 at 12.00 PM through online, but at 11.30 AM on 05/16 we received a phone from Michael asking about the reason for the meeting, and when explained, he asked us to send the code and assured us that he will apply, and we need not to go there.
We sent him the promotion code through our email dt 05/16/2022, and again reminded him on 05/26/2022 but he has not applied the code, as yet, despite our pursuance and his own reassurance through his email dt 05/26/2022, to do so. We again approached the bank and informed the situation through our note dt 05/30/22, to which Kristina replied: “Chhater, we apologize about the coupon code that hasn't been applied on your account yet. We sent your information about the cash bonus that was not applied on your account to Michael, so they can help you and give an update about the cash bonus offer. You will be contacted within two to three business days. Thank you for your feedback. We will share it with the appropriate team”.
We again reminded them on 05/31/2022 & 06/07/2022,” and finally, on 06/08/2022, Alex, informed that “unfortunately we are unable to check the status of your complaint about cash bonus that was not added through this platform and again asked me to contact the branch where the account is opened to determine the resolution for this matter”. From the above, it could be seen that we have been made shuttle cock between Chase Bank and Michael. No one is listening to us and applying the promotion code and we are feeling deceived. It appears that the Bank don’t want to give us our right full money despite our tremendous CHASE.

When they call you they state: "this conversation is recorded for the training purposes" but one has to wonder, what training really goes on as they show no care, no empathy nor understanding once bad things like fraud happen. Claims department is highly incompetent and executive services only PARTIALLY resolved my claim so I lost some money due to fraud.
Warning everyone: CORPORATE GREED COMES BEFORE ANYONE, INCLUDING YOU AS A CUSTOMER! I am disappointed, will take ALL of my funds out as CHASE doesn't have systems to protect their customers from online fraud, takes TOO long to resolve the claim and in the end remains incompetent and that is my experience I wish to share with anyone who is banking with them. I had to dispute 2 charges on my card, one was for Booking.com in which they advertised free cancellation and still charged me for two rooms, the other was for an extremely poor repair service I received on my camper. The Chase app had me call a phone number to dispute my charge so I called the number and was connected to someone that spoke very broken English. The rep took very little information from me, didn't request any documentation and then hung up. A month later I got notification that both charges were deemed valid, somewhat to my shock. After I read the reasoning, essentially booking.com lied stating that I had no contact with them prior to my cancellation and that I was just trying to get my money back, the other was denied for reasons unknown to me.
From there I look at how to appeal a dispute result and have to again call the Chase number. This time I speak to a rep that tells me I now need to email back with supporting documents. This was easy enough as I had screenshots of my conversations with booking.com and also my email exchange with the repair shop. After about a week, there is nothing on the dispute tracker for Chase so I call back. The rep tells me that they haven't received anything and I should send it again. I send the email with attachments again and wait. This time the dispute pops up but it is only one of the disputes and not both. I call again (a third time) and the lady is locates the one dispute and tells me she put in a note to open the other dispute. I wait the 48 hours and again still not there.
I call back, a 4th time and this lady is unable to locate the information, the notes on my account and tells me to re-submit my email again. I call back to speak to hopefully a more knowledgeable rep and this time the lady finds my account and tells me that she has manually opened the second dispute. I checked the dispute tracker and after 2 days, still no record of second dispute. I emailed the 2nd dispute separately but so far Chase has been terrible in regard to the dispute process. It is disjointed and instead of just believing the vendor, Chase could have called me back at that point and told me to submit more information. What does it take to send a wire with Chase?
- Two hours across 6 phone calls to customer service, fraud detection, ...
- Two dropped calls while being transferred from one group to another
- Being told three times by customer service, after extensive verification, that a wire would proceed ... only to have it rejected
- a secure message through the system to complain about the issue, only to receive an acknowledgement 24 hrs later that the message would get prompt attention. Three days later, I am still waiting
- After executive escalation, a call from a very polite young man who essentially then did nothing .... lots of style, no substance
Chase needs to fix its customer service. Some specific suggestions:
- If there is a problem, call, text or email to resolve ... don’t just reject. I appreciate it’s to Chase’s benefit to hold onto my money but it is poor customer service- If someone in customer service tells you a problem is fixed, then the systems should be such that it is fixed
- There needs to be a real time connection between customer service and the back office so that customer service can fix an issue on the spot, not leave a note on the file which the back office then ignores
- Make sure your executive escalation people actually have the power to fix things ... not just politely tell you how sorry they are then nothing happens

111% interest on a momentary loan?? That is how much Chase charged me for just my most recent overdraft, which occurred at 8:03AM, when I received a push notification indicating that my account was not only overdrawn, but the fees had already been assessed. Less than 6 hours earlier though, at 2:19 AM, I’d received one telling me that my account balance was down to $0.12. So, between those few hours at the very start of the business day (& on a Saturday), my account was overdrawn by $51.25, putting me $1.25 over their new >$50 cushion, then again by another $10, and immediately assessed two $34 overdraft fees.
Therefore, Chase bank gave me NO opportunity to replace the funds, processing the overdrafts themselves and the fees simultaneously, and for what amounts to a simple interest charge of $68 on a $61.25 loan that lasted minutes or seconds, if that, at a rate of 111%. I know they aren’t really comparable given all the different variables and flat rate nature of overdraft fees, but I calculated that in terms of an APR, and even using a loan period of one day, the result is a percentage in the tens of thousands, which is significantly worse than even the notoriously usurious payday loan rates, and not entirely inaccurate if a person gets in over their heads with the initial debt and continues to rack up daily fees on automatic payments, etc…
I’ve given 1 star, as I feel that Chase’s outmoded overdraft fees are unacceptable when so many are struggling financially from the pandemic, & other countries are adopting policies that cap overdraft fees at 20% APR, and other financial institutions in the US are either doing away with them altogether or greatly reducing the cost / offering a grace period. Yet, Chase: one of the “Big Four” US banking giants and self-described “global leader in financial services,” apparently feels no such moral obligation to its lower income customers and has made none of these changes. As a Case Aid working 8-12 hour days, but only getting paid for 3-5 of those tops, facilitating family visits for children in AZ state custody, which the state is legally obligated to provide, I can hardly pay my bills without help.
Oddly, AZ allocates $0 for this service, & if the govt won’t even protect its kids, I’ll not hold my breath for them to intervene here. I mention this to highlight the affected demographic and it is such that I cannot afford to keep this job, nor can many others, and this is resulting in even more neglect to an already horrifyingly inadequate child welfare system. It’s the sort of practice that helps to perpetuate poverty and class struggles in more ways than one. Pretending like they don’t know how their actions trickle down and spread rot beneath the surface, like it’s just numbers on a screen and in their own personal bank accounts, is no excuse to continue as they have been. I plan to switch banks.

Third time I had to open an account because me and my husband wanted to open high school accounts for our kids, they made me go through a lot of trouble, we sat at the bank for 4 hours because they were accusing me of owing them money from 2014… that’s when my money went missing. Anyway we spend hours trying to figure out how to pay the money since 2 of their system said I didn’t owe anything so they couldn’t take the payment. After returning from our 2 month trip we found our car had been mistakenly towed and Chase Bank retrieved it from the tow company after 28 days. We were never notified by the bank that this had occurred and we were not at our residence to receive notification from the tow company. Chase Bank refused to tell us the location of our vehicle for 4 days and charged us 2,100.00 to get the car back. When they finally told us where we could pick our car up, we had to drive 4 hours across the state to an auction facility. Our car was scheduled for auction the following day! They Never bothered to call us! We are set up with auto pay and have never missed a payment yet we now have a "repossession" against our perfect credit and Chase Bank refuses to help rectify the mistake.
To make matters worse they sent us a paper bill for April's payment with an additional $45.00 repossession fee! Our vehicle was cleaned out! All of our personal belongings were gone including a spare set of floor mats and our registration. The auction facility claimed they never took our belongings yet the car was being prepared for auction. After 3 weeks of daily calls to Chase Bank we found that our belongings were in the same location we retrieved our car from and we had 2 days to make the drive as they only keep personal items for 28 days. The 4 hr trip was impossible due to our work schedules. All of our personal belongings are gone. Our vehicle was damaged and Chase Bank refused to help us any further. This is how Chase Bank treats their customers with perfect credit. They destroy it and they don't care. We will be paying this car off and will never do business with this bank again.

So I had an account with Chase for about seven years and I always read about how great they were and then I had an issue with a charge that was not mine and I disputed it and they were fine with that. They decided to cancel my debit card and sent me a new one. I went into the bank a couple days later because my bank account showed zero and I didn’t know what was going on so I went into the bank and I live in Aurora, Colorado off of Buckley and Mississippi.
Veronica is this young little thing that works as a desk. I think she’s all that and I went in and said I need to talk to a manager and she’s like, "About what?" like all crappy and I tried to tell her and she’s like, "Well I’m not sure what’s going on" and so I just was like, "Fine, whatever" so I decided to go back in a couple days later and of course she got her again. She was extremely rude and I said I need to text him about my account. She’s like, "What about your account?" all **. I was like OK, so we had words, she started talking crap. I said something back. The girl next to her that was working there said something to me so I walk out. I go outside.
I get a debit card in the mail couple days later and my account was totally closed and I think it’s cause I had an altercation with her, they close my account. Didn’t bother tell me why, tell me anything. I call on the line their 800 number which nobody speaks English and they said that it was closed and the guy said, "We don’t have to tell you why." So he was all crappy. I had a direct deposit coming through that day so I had sc scrounge and scrambled to get another account. They were so rude so I called down there today to a manager and I told her that those girls neither ** beat, they talk to clients like that and so she called the cops on me and she said that they don’t want me as a client there and that they’re not gonna file charges. They can file trespassing charges. **.
I didn’t do anything, nobody told me not to come back in the bank. I was done going in that bank, let them do it. I will get a lawyer and I will sue so the cops called me and tell me that they’re not gonna press charges and I’m like, "Well first why you can’t because you didn’t tell me anything about not coming back in the bank and why would I go back in a bank that I’m not even doing business with anymore." So I was thinking to myself, you know what, press charges, they’re not going to because I didn’t tell me not to come back in. I will sue you.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I wouldn’t recommend anybody go to Chase because from what I’m looking at online they’ve done this to mini of people and they don’t even tell you they’re closing your account. I am very much shocked because I never thought a company would be that rude to somebody’s doing business with them. Don’t go there. Don’t think their horrible customer service is one down the toilet since this whole Covid thing. Nobody cares about customer service. They treat you like crap, these two little gangster girls that work there, he’s Mexican girls act like they’re gangsters. You’re working back there talking crap that’s OK you talk to someone like that and then I said something back in my account was closed so they just retaliate on you.
I’m still thinking about calling a lawyer because he said they didn’t wanna file charges. First well don’t threaten me like that. Nobody told me anything and then he said, "They’re sending you a letter telling you that they don’t want you back in there." OK you never said that to me the second time that I walked out, nobody said anything to me. Nobody has called me. Nobody has talk to me. I’ve never seen such incompetence on all levels in my life. I submitted a charge for 813$ from Jiffy Lube for brakes that were done and done again 5x times over a month & a half, each time wrong which almost caused me to crash due to brake failure after they had finally Said it was fixed. I spend 1290$ fixing this problem with another mechanic. Chase said they will require the receipts for original pay and for the fix it receipt. I supplied both as soon as I could, although chase gave me the run around due to holidays and then their agents constantly couldn’t fix my issue so hangups and constant transfers (they should have recordings). Finally I made the dispute but it was automatically denied due to being over 120 days or something (the agent assured me since they double charged me and since it was denied their fault chase would no doubt look into it). They didn’t.
Today has marked 5 months I’ve been dealing with this. I uploaded things time and again 3 times and they still wanted to say they couldn’t see the double charge doc due it being bad quality (their own agents uploaded it all the times). I spoke to Jen today who told me that basically I’m a liar. That I uploaded it wrong and that I never even send the second doc, then the supervisor repeated it’s been over 120 days and that I didn’t even try uploading and filing this right away. (I BEEN he refused to listen Ronaldo phone calls especially one from March 10th saying I didn’t mention a double charge but neither way it doesn’t even matter because it’s been 120 days so it will automatically reject any claim). So then their system completely failed?
Jerry "the supervisor” then pretty much also called me a liar (although said he can’t see the unclear receipt) so now I’m out 2000$ plus medical bills all the while my country where I was born is being bombed to oblivion. Thanks Jerry and Jen and the rest of your incompetent employees who didn’t even bother looking into my claim, It’s sad too because when I dealt with identity fraud issues chase was pretty good on everything but now? They are over two decades behind in their technology as well. They have multiple separate departments mostly to obstruct and stonewall customers. Their agents (employees) are so so poorly trained and they are precluded from any of the real tools to get problems solved for customers. There is no real concept of customer service as they are all involved in customer ABUSE. I started and ran businesses so I do know any and all ways that they just refuse and fail to even start to try to serve customers. Run away ASAP or it is your own fault.
They refuse so so many simple services offered by a usual bank. They are only good at getting more and more BAD. Mind you, these are valid checks, written from a legitimate business, that intentionally paid me.
I called them, and they said they needed to verify the checks, or wait for the 10 day (2 week) hold to expire. I gave them contact information for the organization, which they called, only to return claiming they couldn't verify the checks with their payroll dept. I exclaimed "It's not a payroll check! She said the balance of my account would be mailed to me upon the hold being released, and the account closure would take place at that time.
Waited 2 weeks. Called Chase back, because the hold should be released, and I wanted a tracking number for the check. It hadn't been issued. But the account had closed... I got that information from the P.O., faxed it to Chase and they refuse to credit my account. The proof of delivery indicated the wrong address and the weight was 2lbs! I have been trying to get my money back and they refuse to fix the problem. This has been going on for over 2 months. They refuse to give me a manager's name or extension or anyone in Administration. I wanted to work with you relying on the reputation and experience that supposingly you have. My husband wanted to work with you since everyone in his family has had an account for decades. Unfortunately, the disappointment from the inefficiency, inconsistency and misinformation of and from your agents over the years convinced me to seek a different bank company.
Three years ago, opening a business account took six weeks with six agents at three branches. There was huge discrepancy in information. It took us multiple trips to the bank branches, wasting my time and my husband’s time. Next, I have a business account that has been circulating $500K annually, with the prediction to increase the flow exponentially in the next years. When I needed to open a business credit line, I had to go through the same circus as I did for the business checking account opening.
The initial agent who is formally in charge of our case is still in “vacation” for over three weeks. (Alright, we can blame the virus for this.) She was the one who initially claim that the application process takes three minutes. However, since the official application submitted on December 23th, we have been on the phone with Chase on a daily basis, talking to multiple agents, working with our local bank branch in order to ensure that the documents needed have been received. Apparently, the Case email for business credit applications is unable to receive large file document such as tax returns (really, we are just a small business; what about big customers with large businesses?)…Clearly, the system is outdated and very inconvenient for the bank customers. It is made to discourage you.
Next, the knowledge of the agents is quite questionable. Most of them had their own opinion about the situation and each of them was requesting a document in addition to the previous agent’s request. Sometimes, some of them did not even check the documents that we submitted but already had a different requirement for the application. Well, I lost my patients with you Chase Bank long time ago but I believed in my husband’s opinion. Unfortunately, now both of us believe just in the malfunction and moreover the dysfunctional culture and level of business that the Chase Bank renders. It is time for change!

When I called in they said there was nothing they could do and I would have to wait for the card to arrive even though it was at the fault of Chase. Look. Let me start by saying this happened to my sister years ago. I should have listened to her. Here I am. Experiencing the same issue. Because of a check that was written to me by my father who is very old school and might as well be Ron from Parks and Rec, they closed my account. Because they probably think I’m committing fraud. Instead of telling me this. They put a check deposit on hold for over 10 days.
Mind you we all have Covid at the moment, we can’t leave the house, my dad who is older definitely can’t leave and they want to call him to verify it was a check written to him. HOWEVER it needs to be a number registered under HIM. Did I mention he’s basically Ron from Parks and Rec? The only phone he has is his company phone THAT’s ON THE CHECK ITSELF. They refused to call him on there. Understood. Then they proceeded to tell us the bank account will be closed within 10 days but that check which is still on hold will either not be deposited. Or will be deposited but he must go in person to retrieve it.
He’s sick in bed. We have Covid. EVERY ONE OF US IN THE HOUSEHOLD. I told them we planned to cancel anyways we no longer want that check. We asked if we could call the person who’s the owner of the paying account and have them request their own bank communicate with Chase to try and send it back. The Loss prevention agent (yes LP took about 2 hrs and 15 minutes to answer btw) said that it could work but that our account is still canceled but they cannot tell us why.
We live paycheck to paycheck. We can’t wait 10 days with no groceries, no money for anything at all. I literally only have $6 in my account to begin with because that check was on hold. This is an ordeal, a ridiculous way to treat a customer who has been with them for years, who NEVER came across this issue before.
The LACK of professionalism and the RUDENESS I’ve received has left such a bitter taste I cannot think enough about my sister who warned me about them. I’m now warning everyone. FIND A DIFFERENT BANK. THEY’RE NOT WORTH IT. My account is also fully restricted while this goes down. Which means I can’t do a single thing with it. I can’t deposit or withdraw or use my card. For 10 days AT LEAST. If someone ACTUALLY had money in their account like my sister did, imagine having your money HELD HOSTAGE and have to wait to get the letter in the mail. I found out EARLY because I called. She found out after she could use her card anymore. They refused to give her information and then she just walked around for weeks confused waiting for her money in the mail. Her hard earned money that she needed to feed her family with.
Banks never really care about you. But they can at least pretend. Shame on Chase. On your shady practices and holding people’s hard earned money hostage. I really hope no one goes through this. If you’re reading this and have an account with them, do yourself a favor and go to a better bank. They’re not worth doing business with.

The fact that it forces me to use Zelle for online personal payments instead of allowing a consumer to use Automated Clearing House (ACH) functions is laughable... no, it's screamable, as in frustration. The customer support to attempt to fix this was 130 minutes of transferred calls, dropped calls, failures to launch and so on. We recently embarked to update and replace our credit cards with cards offering better benefits. We have exceptional credit, so obtaining cards should not be difficult. Indeed obtaining one card through a different bank was easily approved and finalized - literally within minutes. Our experience with Chase has been the polar opposite:
Firstly, Chase required us to expose our credit reports to open inquiry for a period (48 hours) while they obtain our report. We keep our credit frozen for security purposes and provide access as-needed, but Chase apparently has no mechanism for applicants to provide targeted access available to them only. This is an unnecessary security vulnerability for Chase’s customers in my opinion. Secondly, aside form an initial email acknowledgement, Chase provided absolutely no feedback regarding the application, and it is incumbent on the applicant to contact Chase if for some reason the application doesn’t proceed (as has been our case). Thirdly, our application with Chase apparently stalled because they could not validate a billing address. This is information that I later confirmed Chase indeed had, and was also included in our original application.
Lastly, clearing up this mess with Chase customer services required three attempts to reach them via telephone which were so horrendous it is comical. One of the calls I abandoned after waiting on hold for over 2 hours. My last call (which hopefully resolved the matter - fingers crossed) had me on hold for 2:40 (that’s 2-hours 40-minutes) to complete an unnecessary 60-second discussion with an agent.
Astonishingly, Chase’s member services has no mechanism for receiving a call-back… callers must wait on hold enduring Chase’s hold music frequently interrupted by a voice expressing how important my call is. I don’t know what other customers do while waiting, but I was able to change into the winter tires on my car, assemble furniture for my granddaughters, and catch up on reading while on hold. :) At this point I don’t even know if I’m even really interested in the card anymore, but my curiosity to see how this eventually unfolds is getting the best of me.

I went back and forth between Zelle and Chase over several calls each saying it was the other's problem not theirs. Finally, I had to say ENOUGH and it ended up falling on Chase and there was a whole department that I was transferred to where my claim sat for over 5 days and still had not been picked up to be looked at. I had to stop in to a different branch than where I opened my account because my branch said they could not help me.
Finally, my claim was picked up and Zelle attempted to retrieve the funds accidentally sent over a week later and lo and behold the recipient's bank now had insufficient funds to return my $1,100. Hung up. Called back and chose option to wait 50 minutes for return call. That call never came. Decided to call number on back of card and they told me to call Fraud Dept. on Monday. Spoke to someone. Said fraudulent activity. Said I must come into building with 2 forms of I.D. The Fraud Dept. They say because I opened an account online, I needed to go into any branch office and present two forms of ID. So my question is “Why allow online applications when it’s not enough?"
I go into a branch office. Same greeting, adding “We only have one banker and he has back-to-back appointments. I can get you an appointment for a couple days from now" (or something like that). I said, "Do you see this walker? I CAN’T come back. Is there a manager or bank president or somebody? This is an emergency. You guys have my few funds on lockdown and I need help right now!" Introduces himself and says he had several appointments; someone would be coming in 15 minutes and it would be another 45 min – 1 hr. I said, "Well maybe you can use these 15 min. to take a quick peek at my account and see why I’m being treated like I’m being treated like I’m on the FBI list, when I just had my first Social Security check auto deposited in this bank."
He said that it showed there may have been some fraudulent activity – “but not you” and they had to close the account. I said “And here I thought I had touched a wrong key when using my User name and Password," he assured me that was not the problem. I’m like why didn’t that type of message come across, vs. call a number that nobody answers?! He said “We’ll have to close that account and you’ll have to open a new one." When I expressed GREAT DISMAY, he said, "Well, let’s go ahead and open a new one today." I’m like, "You know, I have used credit unions for most of my 50+ years of banking." I went to a small unknown bank, only because I was doing a consumer research study. I joined because I was so impressed with a young woman who had only been there 3 weeks. I stayed for a few years, until some branches closed and it was to inconvenient to travel 20 miles to get there.
So I say, Chase is one of the oldest banks in the country with ATM’s everywhere. Yet, here I sit in the principal’s office. By the way my Mom and I volunteer for AARP: the local chapter, State office and federal team. We share our experiences with issues affecting seniors and look into changes in legislature for laws that advocate more accessibility for seniors. I’m also involved in several other senior advocacy groups and programs. My Mom made a commercial for AARP regarding the high prices of prescription drugs. Someone saw it in D.C. and did an interview with her that appeared in an online article. So you, Sir, will determine how my reviews of CHASE Bank will go.
Meanwhile, someone came to the door and said “Do you have 5 or 10 minutes?” (I turned and looked at her as if to say “Excuse me, can you say “excuse me?) He asked if she could see “Ms. So and So’? I’m kind of tied up right now.” I asked, "Is that your next appointment?" He said, "I asked someone else to help her so I can go ahead and get you taken care of."
I call the following day to ask a question about my account. The person answering the phone said the banker was busy helping another customer. Did I want to make an appointment. I stated, "I’m sure he doesn’t want me coming back in there with my walker to ask a question. Doesn’t he have voicemail?" “No.” "Well, please take my number to call me please." That was about 2:30. About 4:30 I got online to Consumer Affairs. Just then the phone rang. I told him, "So glad you called; didn’t think you’d gotten the message." I thanked him and again mentioned the “receptionist” who said he had no voicemail, and I thought he was the same one who refused to greet me until I said my highly exaggerated “Hello”. He said, "I think I know who it is. I will talk to him."

Was notified in Oct 21 that Chase was assuming the servicing of my mortgage. Some things went well - the numbers (loan balance, escrow balance) seem to have been accurately transferred. I say "seem" because there is no way to see the escrow balance on their website, at least until the first statement is issued. So I called to confirm. [BTW, the Chase website doesn't come close to that of my previous loan service company in terms of information availability and ease of use.]
Then I tried to set up online payments. This has been a disaster. I already have a Chase credit card account that is linked to my checking account. So all I had to do was apply the account info that's already in their systems to my mortgage, right? But no, you have to enter the information separately. Okay. So, every day for a week, I tried to (a) link automatically using my login info, and (b) enter the routing number and account number manually. All attempts unsuccessful.
These difficulties have prompted three calls to their "Customer Service" desk, multiple private messages, and a scheduled callback from their IT department that they blew off. Not only have they not fixed the problem, they can't articulate back to me what it is, and they don't seem either capable or willing to fix it. Perhaps I'll just write checks and mail them in. That way I can at least take a modicum of pleasure in knowing that it will drive up their administrative costs, and perhaps cause them to experience just a small fraction of the headache they have provided to me.

I had my fed number and Chase acknowledged having the money and promised the money will be in my account yesterday before the end of the day. It's more than 24 hours later and the money is still not in my account. This is theft. What gives Chase the right to hold my Money?

I opened this online account which required me to go in person to the bank due to the circumstances that I am out of town and I needed the card to arrive at my current place. I called customer service and I was advised to go visit one of their nearest locations for verification purposes. Literally, I get up from my computer and went to the nearest location. I presented my identification "Driving License" from my residence State and explained about the verification purpose and modification of address for me to receive the cards.
Next, I went to the bank again to make a deposit and the teller tried to find out about why I was not able to make a deposit, she finally found out about the closure of my checking account and advised to go back and re-open it and come back quickly to make a deposit or to call customer service. Called customer services Almost 2 hours wait and no one answered. Received letter from Chase stating account is blocked because of recent activity, and further information requested was not provided. I was totally shocked! 2 days in row, time consuming, customer service skills are incredibly poor. There is a need of coaching or information centered trainings to help employers be more efficient.
Sincerely, I had higher expectations about Chase but not coming back for sure. Consequently, I called again and waited for another 45 minutes and I have screenshots about both calls, unsuccessful outcome. I was transferred to the FRAUD department! Again, I was told to go back again to present an alternate form of identification when my drivers license from the state, unexpired was presented to the bank representative at the time of the address mailing changes.
The bank needs physical and MAILING ADDRESS because people travel for different reasons, example, businesses. Unfortunately, not re-opening or going for the 3rd time in a 5 days time frame period to have to face more challenging unpleasant experiences. Have the cards in my hands, unable to activate them, need to re-open and go through the same process again, customer service long wait, poor customer service and to conclude the fraud department specialist hung up the phone disrespectfully because I tried to obtain information about reporting the situation and filing a formal complaint about the situation. So disappointing about Chase, I definitely had higher expectations from this institution.

No one at customer service, at the number printed at the top of their letters, knew anything about the case or about the faxes I had sent weeks earlier. Also, their phone cut off five times in the course of 30 mins. I had to redial and repeat all the information. In addition to the communication glitches, the service reps were unintelligible. If they say one thing, they should stick by it. They won't let you pay it off, so they can get you on that high-interest rate - which is fine - IF they tell the customer that, which they do not. So beware before doing business with a bank that sells you one product but then changes the rules after the fact.

Within a 30 day period, our Chase Sapphire Card was hacked twice and our savings and checking once. Each time, Chase did prevent us from any loss, however, after hours of being shuttled from department to department and time on hold, we finally called it quits with Chase. When we went to close our accounts, the teller asked us "why?" Her reply after we described our issues was "bummer." There was no apology or attempt to keep our business. She had to involve the branch manager to close our accounts and he never apologized or attempted to keep our business either. I had to ask them if Jamie Dimon would tolerate this lack of customer care?
We asked for cashier's checks instead of wire transfers to our little Credit Union because of our distrust of Chase. When we arrived at our Credit Union to deposit our accounts' funds, the teller at the CU apologized to us for our bad experience with Chase, three times. We were at one time, Private Client Members at Chase and used their financial services. We learned after a time, they were getting twice in fees than other financial services and buying JP Morgan/Chase proprietary products with our funds and reaping more high fees. We moved to a Personal Financial Advisor and have saved thousands in fees and saw our investment returns grow far better than ever with Chase. Too big to fail and too big to care.

Otherwise, don't expect any simple service that even a small bank would provide you. It's a big bank but so what? So ever since I got my Chase bank account it has been the singularly most miserable experience I’ve ever had with a bank. These people are completely incompetent and they do not care at all. It’s nearly impossible to talk to them if you’re not trying to open an account or give them money. I am a cryptocurrency day trader. It’s what I do. For months now Every single time I try to make a crypto purchase through the same very well-known popular platforms that I always use, my stupid Chase checking account will automatically deny my purchase and throw up a fraud alert.
I have called them over and over again and asked them to please stop doing this to me. All they ever say is that there’s a lot of fraud in cryptocurrency. They absolutely do not care. I told him this is what I do for a living and I need to be able to use my money when I need to. Within seconds a crypto price can change dramatically. I don’t have half an hour to call Chase try to get a person on the phone and then have them fix it so that they are not blocking my purchase. 80% of the time when I have called them and done this, I go to make my purchase and the exact same thing happens again. It’s infuriating, and it’s like a slap in the face because they literally won’t stop doing it.
On top of that, their whole system is set up just to make you as frustrated as possible. I swear. Yesterday I went to log into my Chase account and they threw up a thing saying that they didn’t recognize the device that I was on. They said that they would need to do further verification to make sure that it was me since it’s a new device to them. So I scroll down to see my options and the first one listed is for them to send a text to… You got it! The exact phone in my hand. The only phone that I’ve had for years. And yes, the phone that I set the freaking account up on in the first place. This is just one example. It’s endless. This is what I get for picking a bank due to its proximity to my house. These people are ** in the worst way. Screw Chase.

Their app is trash, their website photo verification is trash. Nobody could tell me how long my paycheck will be in limbo. I’m going to miss a credit card payment and get dinged on my credit because Chase couldn’t wait a day and a half so I could verify my information in person. Their customer service is rude, and it became apparent they couldn’t wait to get me off the phone so their call stats wouldn’t go down. Chase Bank, Let me start off with how Chase bank, you guys, used to be my favorite bank, I got my very first account with Chase as a high school student, my entire family banks with them and has several accounts with them. Their online system is convenient, especially during the pandemic which allowed me to avoid going into one of the branches. The pandemic has affected everyone differently, for me, I am a college student, and I just earned my bachelor’s degree this past spring of 2021. Like many others my age I don’t have a job, I’m currently working as an intern, and my living situation isn’t ideal for someone my age. The pandemic has really affected my age group in finding a job that will allow me to support myself with essential needs.
Early July of this year, 2021, I found out someone somehow stole $740 dollars from my Chase savings account, the transaction date was June 28th, 2021. I was not only shocked but also scared of the idea that I was been scammed/hacked. When I discovered that my money was missing, I thought of all the ways I could have been compromised, was it through Chase’s online banking app, through a merchant processor, or even someone stealing my information at a gas station. I have absolutely no clue.
I called your fraud department, explained my situation to your fraud department, and followed their lead. They had me file a fraud claim for $740 dollars. After filing my claim with them, they reimbursed me $740, but shortly after they debited my account for that same amount. I then called back because I was confused. When I asked what was going on the representative I spoke to said, “your claim was denied because there was no fraudulent activity in your account.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was so confused and tried to explain to the fraud department that someone stole funds from my savings account. I have my savings account hidden on the Chase app because it is my emergency money.
I need to be cautious when I spend it. So having it not easily visible makes me feel like I don’t really have that money to spend. Instead of understanding my situation, I felt helpless. During this time on the phone, I learn from the representative that I lost another $868 back in April 2021. At this point I’m even more terrified because now the same people have now taken over $1,600 away from me. I know $1,600 isn’t a lot to some people, but to me it is. This was pretty much all my emergency money. I have a feeling that it was the same person/group because there was an account number attached to the unauthorized transfer of my money to their account. I then had to file a second claim for the newly discovered missing funds. Your bank again reimbursed me for $868.
At this point, I really needed my money and was afraid that you would deny my fraud claim as you’ve done before, so I decided to take it out of my Chase account and put it into my Bank of America account. When following up for the original $740 every representative I spoke to told me I had to prove to them that it wasn’t me that stole the money from my own account. When I tell you how shocked I was, you wouldn’t believe me. I couldn’t believe was I was hearing. Everyone I spoke with, both on the phone and in person, basically told me they think it was me and that I am the one scamming them. I really needed my money back, so I did my best, and I got a police report and sent it to Chase. This made no sense to me and didn’t feel like this was fair banking. How come I was approved for $868 but then denied it for $740? If I’m right, then you can’t pick and choose whatever transaction you want, that itself is unethical.
I told everyone I spoke to, representatives from multiple departments, that I discovered the funds were transferred to an account held at Capital one. I do not have any association with Capital One, but I called Capital One to see if they could help me get more information on this account but, of course, they couldn’t help due to whatever privacy reasons they explained to me and said Chase would have to work with them directly through their fraud department. It doesn’t make sense that I am doing trying to do your job and figure out what happened to my money. Your escalation team or investigation team should be working with Capital One not me, but I’ve been put in this position to where I felt desperate to call Capital One directly to see if I can figure anything out.
I’ve been accused of stealing money from my own account and now must do my own investigating? Why did I even open an account at Chase? Why do I have a bank account with this bank if you guys do not care to protect me and my money? If this happened to one of your larger clients, I believe you would never treat them like this. But because I lost what seems like a small amount of money, it seems to me that you guys don’t have the decency to care about my situation. And on top of all that having to prove that it wasn’t me? I’ve been accused of a crime I did not commit. I have been treated unfairly, discriminated against, and been called a thief. I’ve done my part and maybe even more, but what has Chase done for me? I even had my mom come into the branch with me to see if she could talk to someone but of course, we got no help. It’s almost like everyone I tried to talk to did not care about my situation because it wasn’t benefiting anyone with a sale. My issue isn’t profitable.
It’s now September 2021 and I still haven’t gotten a response or any effort from them. I don’t know what to do. It’s me against one of the largest corporations in the country. No one has given me my $740. No communication either. I don’t have a lot of money, I don’t understand everything when it comes to the banking system, they treated me like a scammer because I am Indian. Fun fact, not all Indians work in I.T. I’ve never felt so small in my life. All I’m asking is for MY $740 back Chase. I feel so lost because I’ve literally done everything I could’ve.
Chase, please give me my $740. I trusted you guys to protect my money, but you have let me down. You know someone like me has no chance against you, but you cannot act unethically and treat people this way. You guys are out of compliance with The Fair Banking Act. I have documented all my interactions with the company and know $740 isn’t a lot but if I have to, I will sue, and it won’t be for the amount of $740. I’ll expose Chase for what they truly are. I will be sending a letter to Chase directly, Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, and to the FDIC.

I deposited the check on 8/9/21 and Chase bank put a 9-day hold on it to make sure it would clear. I was actually grateful for that. I told the scammer that no car or money would be transferred until the check cleared. Nine days later, the check cleared and the money was legitimately in the bank. He had me send $8,400 to give to the "shipper". I sent the money to the shipper and scheduled the date for pickup. The day the car was supposed to get picked up I got an email saying the scammer's father, for whom he was purchasing the car, had died that day and could he have his money back. Fortunately I said no.
ALMOST A WEEK LATER... on 8/27/21 I logged into my chase account to find every penny left in my checking account had been cleared out. I panicked thinking this guy had hacked my account somehow. It was worse...Chase had allowed TD Bank, (the bank that issued the check) to go back in and reclaim everything in my checking account. This was almost three weeks after I deposited the check AND NINE DAYS after the check had cleared!! What kind of bank lets their own customer's accounts just get cleared out long after a check has been cashed, had a hold on it, verified that it was okay and then three weeks later just lets another bank come in and take all the money left in the account?!
Do not trust Chase. They do not care about their customers or the money in your accounts. They will give away your money and let other banks just come in and pilfer your accounts. Money is not safe with chase and now I am left with a zero account balance in a time where I have no job because my after-school art program business was destroyed by covid. Now, I had a bunch of money transferred into a Chase personal checking, and I planned to move it to a new bank. Chase refused to give me my money even though they had the money or could have written a cashier's check. The balance said that all the funds were available and Chase acknowledge that the funds were available. We're talking about 50K. I closed my accounts and they still refused to give me my money.
I spent most of the day across two separate branches trying to get this issue resolved. The VP of the second branch abandoned her effort with the technical support team to get the issue resolved. I got angry because my accounts were closed. I couldn't access my money, and they refused to give me my money. SHE called the police on me and tried to get me to leave. The police showed up. They stayed and waited for her to do her job. They didn't kick me out. After more long waiting, she said the funds wouldn't be available until the next day even though the system read that the funds were available.
My accounts are closed. They are holding my money. I've lost a lot of time, resources, and have gone through a lot of grief AND I have to go back again tomorrow to try and get my money. I think they hold on to money and earn interest off of it because Jamie Dimon lost billions and billions of dollars in crooked hedge fund trades. Rotten lying crooks. Turn and run from these pigs. I proceeded to open the savings account the same exact way I open the checkings account which was online. Shortly after I opened the savings account I immediately transfer $300.00 from the already existing checkings into the savings, within hours the savings account was flagged as fraud and I received a message stating I had to call customers service because Chase restricted the savings account and my $300.00 which I transfer was no longer available to me.
As I'm speaking to the customer service rep he states "Chase flagged your account for fraud". I said "This makes no sense! How is the account flagged for fraud?! I opened the account the same was I opened my checkings. You can also see the money was transferred from my checkings to my savings." He says, "The reason it was flagged for fraud was because it was opened online". I was totally confused because again this was how I opened my checkings, on line, was not once was I asked to come into a branch and bring documents to verify my id. The customer service agent as well was confused and proceeds to tell me I must come into the branch with 2 forms of id to prove it was me who open the savings and the restriction on the account would be lifted.
At this point I was beyond upset because the purpose of opening the savings was to set aside funds I was going to use to go away for the weekend with my daughter. I go into the bank the very next day not only with 2 forms of id but my lease and electric bill to fully verify who I am and the banker sees a note on my account stating she must call with proof of my ids to override the restriction on the account. When I tell you this only gets worse is literally an understatement. Ms. ** calls speaks with a rep and supervisor, shares the documents I have, scans and emails over my information for them to tell her they can not override the restriction and the money is no longer in my savings account and there is nothing that can be done all because the account was opened on line!!
I am suffering for their mistake because online is exactly how my checkings account was opened! Ms. ** the banker stressed to the supervisor on the phone "This makes no sense for her to be penalized for opening a savings on line when it was the same way she opened her checkings account. How is this being considered fraud? She is going away this weekend and needs her money. I know we are allow to authorize a credit until this ridiculous verification has been processed." The supervisor then proceeds to tell the banker to tell me "There is nothing we can do because the money is no longer in her account, chase has taken the money, is processing it and will return the money once they prove this was not a fraudulent transaction, otherwise, the money does not belong to her."
I have never heard anything so stupid in my life!! If it was such a problem to open an account online why was my checkings account approved and not flagged when it was open online roughly 4 months ago!? How is opening a saving account and transferring my funds fraud?! What right does a financial institution have to keep money that does not belong to them?! I was literally in the bank for 2 hours politely fighting this, in tears until I couldn't any more! My 7 year old daughter was with me and was in tears as well because she saw me crying asking if I was going to be ok, asking why is the bank keeping money that doesn't belong to them, saying mommy "This isn't right. Banks aren't suppose to steal from their customers".
Today monday 08/09/2021 all I was told was my money is in a "Limbo state" (what in the world is a limbo state?) and "Hopefully" tomorrow tuesday 08/10/2021 the funds will be bank in my account. Never in my life have I encountered such unprofessionalism, never have I heard of money being take from a customer and never have I heard such nonsense about funds being in a limbo state! Once this problem has been resolved I will definitely close these account and will never deal with this bank again. I suggest anyone reading close any / every account you do have with chase and find yourself a better financial institution whose departments not matter which one you need are open 24/7, are professional and provide better customer service than what you will ever find with chase. To simply pronounce the name of this financial institution makes me sick to my stomach.

I recently had an awful experience with Chase Bank. I had one of their credit cards and had automatic payments set up and therefore paid on time consistently. I didn't realize that the automatic payments are set to end after a certain amount of time, and when I had two payments left, I got a message from Experian via email (not Chase) that I had a late payment and my credit scored had gone down. When I realized it was Chase, I called them and they were very condescending about the situation, telling me that I should have known the automatic payments were coming to an end (because I should have been logging in to my account all the time to make sure their automatic payments were still working).
When I asked why they didn't leave me a voicemail or email me to let me know that my auto payments were ending, they told me that they have 2 million Chase customers and can't possibly email them all. Which makes no sense because snail mail is a lot more difficult (and unreliable) than email! Also I moved twice over the past year and didn't get their letters but they didn't care. Furthermore, they email me ALL THE TIME with all kinds of offers, but can't email me to tell me about something I actually care about? It feels like they were just trying to get a late payment out of me and don't care at all about me as a customer.
I spoke to 2 different customer service people who didn't understand my situation at all, so I emailed customer service via my Chase account and they emailed me back and asked me to call customer service. So, because I had said in my email that I had already called and gotten nowhere, I thought they had read my email and were going to reconsider my negative credit reporting. Otherwise, why would they ask me to call customer service to just get the same rude treatment? When I called customer service I was again treated poorly and got again the same answers, so I just wasted more of my time. I will never do business again with Chase bank, but I'm sure they won't care, since as they pointed out, they have over 2 million customers.

If you are or were a customer with Chase please leave a review of a time that you made a deposit through the ATM and the machine did not read your deposit, tells you something went wrong, and spits out a receipt to you not showing you any information but a 800 number to call so you can file a claim or see what happened to your deposit. Well that happened to me on a July 6th. I made an ATM deposit to my business account in the amount of $1600 cash in hundred and twenty dollar bills. Only for this entity to go into my account without my knowledge and take $1513 without an explanation.
After hours on hold someone finally tells me that after their “investigation” only $87 was found. $87???? Why and how would I deposit $87.00 to my business account not a personal account but a business account that I’ve had with JP Morgan Chase & Co. for years. I’m a small business owner whose account is now comprised and in the red because of this huge mistake.

Don’t know what they send and they refuse to give me that information but they give them my money and I don’t have rights to ask who stoled it if you're not going to do nothing but no success.
They kept putting me on hold and hanging up on me. Just today I got two people that try but I know they not going to lose their job f ok for someone they don’t know but anyway the paper they send me don’t have the person email, no phone. I want to know how they got in touch. That something I would never know because they cover for this man. It don’t even say what they send. If I only could take a picture and paste here. The process started on a good note. The home lending advisor told us all of the good things that we wanted to hear with our mortgage and what our estimated costs will be. I was unemployed at the time (in May) so my wife and I added my father to our loan to help cover my missing income. We told them that he was recently retired as of late 2020 and they said it was fine and that his dividend/capital gains income will count. Turns out that was not the case and we only learned this about 3 weeks later because our first client care specialist disappeared and we had no contact for 3 weeks. We even called the original lender with no response. (We are now only 2 weeks out from the original closing date.)
At this point (early June) I returned to work so my income was included again but of course now my income won't offset my father's debts. They refused to remove him from the loan (citing Chase policy) and had to start our loan process from scratch 2 weeks before closing. So the date had to be pushed back to July 9th which was within their 3 weeks chase closing guarantee. Throughout this entire process I was given a whole bunch of empty promises and apologies of how they had given me wrong information but nothing no reassurances that they could take care of the matter in a timely fashion.
I'm given a 2nd client care specialist who was unavailable more often than when she was present so I had to deal with her boss mostly and catch her up to speed about this long winded process. Each day was this constant cycle of me saying "is there any more information you need in order to get to closing?" They always said, "No we have everything we need" (because all they did was look at my MyHome portal to see that I had no tasks). The next day there was always something else that they needed and the process was halted because they were waiting on said information. This stretched the process out until 7/15 when we closed. But only learned the day before that chase's estimates for closing costs were $7000 more than what they kept telling me. They had this information for months but never bothered to update the actual mortgage disclosure documents to reflect what my closing costs were actually going to be.
Even when I asked about missing information all they did was read back to me the unfinished closing document. It also doesn't help that the point people who are supposed to guide me through this process knew as little as I did and only regurgitated what information is given to them by their "specialist" teams who can only be contacted by email??? Your own departments can't even contact each other by phone dragging out an already long and difficult process. I will never use Chase for any services after this awful awful experience.

The absolute worst customer service I have experienced in years. Chase locked my account after I attempted to complete a Zelle transaction, citing "suspicious activity" and advised me to call 877-691-8086 to resolve the problem. I was placed on hold for 40 minutes waiting on a customer service representative. The representative spoke poor English and would not listen to the problem. After 5 minutes of babbling I was transferred to an automated system to provide additional security information (beyond what had already been provided to the representative). The automated system glitched and I was returned to the representative who then told me the only solution was to hang up, be placed on hold again for an unknown period of time and go through the exact same process again.
I requested to speak with a supervisor. 20 minutes later a supervisor answered. She was initially helpful, and asked to put me on hold for a "few minutes" to see if she could resolve the problem. 10 minutes later she returned telling me that there was no resolution other than to call back and go through the process again, but that she had entered my contact information in their system and that when I called back I would be answered immediately and not put on hold.
This was clearly a lie. Sadly I bought it rather than asking for the next supervisor up the line. I hung up, called the number I was provided, and was immediately put on hold with an automated message telling me "hold times are currently in excess of 30 minutes"... So now, almost 2 hours later, I am still sitting on hold waiting on Chase to unlock my account that shouldn't have been locked in the first place, and am hopeful that their automated system doesn't glitch again causing yet another hour long hold. I truly believe that Chase is absolutely the worst of the worst. Chase’s so-called customer service is abominable (it should be called customer disservice) and its handling of its depositors’ money is extremely incompetent and sloppy, which is being generous. It is my personal opinion that I have reason to at least question Chase’s solvency and Chase’s ability to meet its obligations to its customers.
I had two checking accounts, three credit cards, and a safe deposit box with Chase for many years. To the best of my recollection, I never bounced a check or failed to pay my credit card balances in full each month on or before the due date. Nonetheless, I received a letter from Chase stating that Chase had (past tense) cancelled all of my Chase credit cards, without any notice to me, at least seven days before I received Chase’s letter. The letter also informed me that Chase was cancelling my Chase checking accounts and my safe deposit box. The letter failed to provide any reason whatsoever for Chase’s draconian actions.
I made numerous calls and sent numerous letters to Chase to learn why Chase had canceled my accounts, but Chase has steadfastly refused to give me a reason for their bizarre cancellation. The Chase staff at the branch I used was palpably shocked by Chase’s cancellation of my accounts because I was an exemplary Chase customer. The Chase staff made several calls to get the reason for Chase’s cancellation of my accounts, but they could not get any information. A couple of Chase’s staff guessed that the cancellation of my accounts might have been caused by my long history of making large withdrawals from my checking accounts. Hence, it is my personal opinion and belief that Chase might have cancelled my accounts because my frequent large withdrawals, if continued, could have exposed an insolvency problem at Chase and an inability of Chase to meet its obligations to its customers.
Moreover, it took Chase over a month to give me the interest that had been earned on my two cancelled checking accounts prior to Chase’s closure of the accounts. To make matters worse, I discovered that Chase made an unauthorized cash withdrawal from my company’s checking account. To the best of my recollection, I have never made a cash withdrawal from my company’s account. After spending numerous hours on the phone with Chase over two days, I finally got a copy of the withdrawal slip. Neither the name of the account nor the account number on the withdrawal slip matched or even slightly resembled my company’s name or account number. Moreover, the signature on the withdrawal slip did not even slightly resemble any of the authorized signatures on my company’s account.
Chase’s payment of cash out of my company’s account was inexcusably incompetent, and sloppy, and it resulted in another customer’s banking information (account number and account name and account holder’s signature) being shared with me. I, personally, would not trust Chase with even one penny of my money because I, personally, believe that Chase might be insolvent and unable to meet its obligations to its customers and that Chase’s handling of its customers’ accounts is incompetent and sloppy. It is my individual, personal, subjective opinion and belief, that Chase is incompetent, dishonest, and/or unethical and might have insolvency problems and be unable to meet its obligations to its customers.
The foregoing review solely provides my individual, personal, subjective opinions, beliefs, and interpretations. Any individuals who may view this review, or any part thereof, should examine the facts and issues for themselves and form their own individual, personal opinions, beliefs, and interpretations.
