I had an issue with my Sittercity account. Apparently I had two accounts and everything was mixed up. I emailed customer service and Dee was more than accommodating and got me all sorted out. Very quick response time also!!!!

I had trouble logging into my account on SitterCity, but I contacted support and Dee was extremely helpful! She quickly offered many solutions to fix my problem, and as a result I was able to swiftly log in.

I had trouble verifying my passport and over and over I needed someone to reactivate my account. Mr or Ms Dee c. Was very helpful and friendly the whole time and even said if I had to submit a background check they would cover the fees so 5 star would recommend.

I was blown away by the support that I got over the past few days from customer service. I spoke with Dee and she was amazing, fast & efficient. Answered all of my questions and concerns, put my mind at ease and she made the process of signing up as a sitter quick, easy and stress-free. Dee at Sittercity Customer Service is Top Notch!!! I'm Grateful!!

Sittercity is an excellent place to find qualified professionals to care for my children. The service is thorough, clear and user friendly. When I no longer needed the service, I contacted online customer support and was immediately helped by Dee who guided me through the steps to stop the subscription. I highly recommend this service and was very pleased with the caregivers they provided.

Expensive, you must pay anywhere from $40 to $190 just to respond to applicants. Applicants are not vetted, you must pay for background checks yourself which only serve to benefit the sitter for other jobs. Unable to find a reasonable sitter using this platform, and Sittercity does not offer refunds for dissatisfaction. A scam through and through.

I posted a job and got some replies. Some had 1 star reviews so I replied "Not a Fit". I replied to say "I'm interested" in some, but then those people never responded. It made me wonder if they were real replies or not. I ended up closing my job posting as it seemed to be a waste of time. I'm glad that I did not pay the $180, and wish I would not have paid for the 3 months. The pricing makes it "seem" very enticing and a good deal. But then nothing came of it.

I am on the caregiver side and the families I have spoken to regarding meeting to see if I am a good fit for their family have been fake profiles. Countless times, the family gives me a time and location to meet. I ask to exchange phone numbers so we keep each other updated in case of traffic en route and so we can find each other at said location when meeting. The family's profile all of a sudden disappears only leaving the profile picture, distance, and a message saying, "There are currently no jobs available." Even more strange, I have my job search distance set for 25 miles...After the profile disappeared from the most recent family I interacted with, the distance said 683 miles away. I can not stress this enough, if you ever meet up with a family make sure to tell someone you trust the time and location on where you plan to meet said family at. This seems like a perfect site for human trafficking.

I got a membership thinking that I could contact a few people and interview them, do a background check, etc. I do not think I need a full year of a membership because I'm looking for a regular date night sitter. I was going to cancel, which the website says you can do by downgrading to basic. What it doesn't say until after you purchase it, is that it's $180 charged at once with a no refund policy. Background checks are not included. You get to post a job and reply and that's all for $180. You can do this on so many other sites for free. I wish I would have done more research before paying for this. I feel cheated and super pissed that this site was recommended as a top site for finding babysitters.
