The company advertises “Money Back Guarantee“ on their site. They claim to have a customer service “chat” for after hours issues. You will not find a chat nor will you get anyone to respond to you. You will be on hold all day long. When you send an email it will come back back as undeliverable.
Had a great experience with my purchase. Going to see Hamilton in New York! Very excited to go see my favorite play, and the price was cheaper than StubHub or Vivid Seats. Thanks ScoreBig for your help.

As others have shared I wish I would have read the reviews before going with ScoreBig. I purchased my tickets to the Rams game October 12, 2017 and received an email right away, the email did warn the tickets would be delayed for November 8th a couple days before the event. As I waited I then received an email saying I can track my order and so on. When I followed the website to track my order I get a delivery date, November 12th? November 12th is the day of the game and also a Sunday means we don't get mail delivery that day. I automatically panicked and started to reach out to ScoreBig, who referred me to Premium Seats? I purchased from ScoreBig why do I have to call Premium Seats.
I contact Premium Seats and the amount of unprofessionalism just gave me a bigger reason to not settle for a "we will email you back". I argued with ScoreBig over the phone, the phone operator disrespected me and on top of it all claimed to be a manager and later had to admit she lied. I waited for my tickets and still received nothing via mail except two $50 merchandise credit cards. Today I open my email and receive my tickets via email from Ticketmaster? They are not the seats I paid for and I don't even see the price on the tickets assigned to me and my partner. We are yet to find out if these tickets are even valid, and how bad our tickets may be (as in far away). This is the worst experience I have ever faced just to purchase tickets for a football game, and I hope people see these reviews and the website is taken down soon.
I wished I'd read the reviews before purchasing tickets to the New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs game. My nightmare sounds so similar to what others have written. Here's my story... I spent over $400.00 on 2 NFL tickets. I was told the tickets would arrive just prior to the game. I asked the person what does how close to "just prior to the game" mean because I'm flying to Kansas from California. The person said, "Oh, don't worry... You'll have them before then." So 1 week before flying out, I still had no tickets.
I called and was told, "The Kansas City Chiefs don't release tickets until just prior to the game." So now I'm beginning to freak out, but still trying to keep calm. Finally, three days before I'm scheduled to fly to Kansas, I called again asking about my tickets and was told "there's a red flag". When asked what does that mean, I was told "fraud". I was instructed to send a copy of my driver's license to prove to them I was who I said I was and that I was, in fact, the person that purchased the tickets. I did this and within a couple of hours, the tickets were emailed to me.
Fast forward, I'm now at Arrowhead Stadium and approach attempting to go through the gate and then it happened. I was told, "I'm sorry, these tickets are no good. Someone has already entered using these tickets." So there I stood looking like a criminal trying to enter a game using forged game tickets. I immediately called ScoreBig thinking they'd be able to help me... WHAT A JOKE. I asked to speak to the person I had been talking to during the whole process of trying to get the tickets emailed to me and was told "he was let go." Then all I got from the person on the phone was an "I'm sorry - we'll send you your money back."
I was begging the person on the phone trying to get them to do something - here I was over 2,000 miles away from home in Kansas at the Jets/Chiefs game, I had spent all this money of plane tickets, rented a car, rented a hotel for several days, etc. It didn't work. All I got was an "I'm sorry - we'll send you your money back." I was shocked! By the next day, I had an email from ScoreBig saying my credit card would be credited. Two credit card statements later, my credit card still had not been credited. So I emailed them and then was told I would be receiving a check in 2 to 3 weeks. After 4 weeks, I still had not received my check. I emailed them again and received an email saying the following...
"ScoreBig, Inc. had entered into an insolvency process on October 7, 2016. It is not bankruptcy, but a different form of insolvency under CA state law called an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors. As of right now, the company is working with an extremely limited staff and budget. Operations are NOT normal course. In an insolvency situation, all company bank accounts are closed and new accounts are opened, which further disrupted operations. All funding for the operations, including refunds, must be funded by an investor or lender. This is cumbersome and time-consuming, which is why the refund process is taking longer than planned. We completely understand your frustration and concern regarding your refund, and if you are unable to wait, we would advise you to follow up directly with your financial institution to see what recourse you have in order to recoup your funds as quickly as possible."
Thank goodness I still had all the documentation from start to finish and was able to provide all of it to Citi card. It took several months, but I won. My credit card was credited. If you're thinking of purchasing NFL tickets through ScoreBig, DON'T DO IT. If it can happen to me and all of these other people and who knows how many more that haven't written about it, it can happen to you too. This company really needs to be put out of business.
Just a side note, I didn't order my tickets directly from ScoreBig. I ordered through SeatGeek. SeatGeek then went through ScoreBig for the tickets. I have gotten several NFL tickets through SeatGeek and never had a problem until now. Needless to say, I'm not going to chance it again and I will not ever be using SeatGeek again. I was told NFLExchange.com was a legit company to get NFL tickets. From now on that's where I'll be purchasing my NFL tickets.
I was Sold a Bum Ticket, a Scam Ticket from ScoreBig. The ticket was refused for entry at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly. They (ScoreBig) refused to help Me! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I bought a ticket to the Vikings at Eagles game Oct 23rd 2016. I bought the ticket on 6-12-16; since my purchase was over 60 days I couldn't dispute it with my Bank. DON'T BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!!! This is the reason why ScoreBig tickets are not offered and are no longer sold on Seat Geek! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY AND WEBSITE! I will try to Sue this Scam Company!
The company is in receivership yet still has the website up. While that should be enough, other ticket brokers have brought a class action against it because it isn't paying its suppliers. Oh, and they didn't honor promises they made to my daughter and me after selling us. As tickets to the Raider game in Nashville. No excuse for making promises you can't keep. Even less for keeping your website up knowing you're closed down!!
Purchased my tickets back in mid May for Panthers vs. Redskins Monday night game. Received an email from ScoreBig on 10/30/16 that they have sent my contact info to supplier of my tickets that tickets may be invalid. So I contacted supplier and they are invalid due to ScoreBig not paying them. Now I am fighting with credit card company to get charges reversed so I can then purchase direct from supplier. Used them last year with no problems. I will not be returning to them for any future purchases. Buyer beware!!!
ScoreBig allowed me to get NFL tickets for the Atlanta vs Carolina game. I definitely recommend using this service. Everything went well without a hitch. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to get tickets at a great price! I was able to pay using my credit card for my NFL tickets. The transaction was very secure and quick and efficient. I got confirmation after my payment went through.
The cancellation policy does not allow you to cancel if you change your mind. All sales are final so make sure you are intent on going to the event you purchase tickets for. Since there is no cancellation policy there are no refunds. There is nothing you can do to get your money back.
A great deal on tickets so I could afford more in the long term than I normally can for a year's time frame of events which makes me happy. The payments were varied enough that I could pay what I could as I went so that I had no stress thru the month on my bills in general so that I was all good.
Online, I was offered sports, theater, and concert tickets. I selected concert tickets because there was a group of singers that I have always wanted to see. I arrived at the Amphitheatre and quickly and easily founded my seat. The concert was more than I expected and I had a wonderful experience. Depending on where I wanted to sit, tickets range from a price of $110 to $80. The seating was from orchestra left/center/right, and the lawn. I selected a center seat which was the lowest price, but it had a great view of the group I wanted to see. If the event was cancelled by ScoreBig, I would receive a credit to my account or a refund issued in the same way it was paid, i.e. refunded back to my credit card. If I wanted to cancelled or made an error in my selection no refund/credit would be issued because all transactions are final. So, I just was careful in my selection and made sure everything was correct before I purchased my concert ticket.
ScoreBig author review by ConsumerAffairs Research Team
Score Big is an online ticket vendor that allows customers to save more money than most other vendors. The website uses an innovative method of non-posted pricing to allow primary vendors to give you a discount.
Name your price: Name the price you are willing to pay, and vendors will decide whether to accept the offer. They don't post the final price so that customers who paid face value won't feel cheated.
Instant acceptance: If the price you named was satisfactory to the vendor, you will find out immediately and be able to purchase the tickets right away.
No shipping charges: Vendors pay for shipping so you only pay the cost of tickets.
Venue maps: Check out venue maps with available seats highlighted and prices displayed.
Broadway: Browse purely Broadway listings and filter results by genre (classics, celebs, plays, etc.).
The ConsumerAffairs Research Team believes everyone deserves to make smart decisions. We aim to provide readers with the most up-to-date information available about today's consumer products and services.
