There are some new, well at least one, new employee who outright refuses business packages that are ready to go with pre paid labels and are in USPS boxes. I can leave the Broussard location and go to Youngsville, LA or the Verot School Road location and the same packages are accepted with no problems or trouble.

Shipped priority mail and it is expected up to 3 days delivery, although not guaranteed, I paid extra for the service and it has now been 11 days since transaction and the package still has not been delivered. Went to post office to see if they can issue a partial or full refund, they will not issue any refunds because it wasn't "Priority Express". Beware paying for priority service as they will not consider it priority and will not give a refund despite it being over a week past the expected delivery date. Poor service for the extra fee. The package probably would have arrived sooner using ground advantage for half the price. Very disappointed with the quality of service. They are profiting off false integrity.

Mailed multiple packages over the holidays. However, some of them never made it to their destination. The tracking shows delivered yet the packages never were actually delivered (cameras at the residences prove this). Deliveries were marked delivered to "Front desk/Reception? Mail Room" yet it was going to a residence that had none of those. Other items were simply marked delivered to front door, yet no one ever approached the door for the delivery at the time listed that it was delivered, as per security cameras. Just simply put, USPS can NOT be trusted with the delivery of packages. Yes, it might be cheaper than other companies, but the employees of USPS have some crooked ways. Definitely on the list with FedEx as to not use for postage. UPS is basically the only one surviving the integrity of employees for me.

If I could give a ZERO I would! I ordered a flat envelope priority express two-day money back guarantee on 12/18/2025! It went from Florida to Dallas, TX; to Fort Worth TX; to BACK to Dallas, TX; to FINALLY San Antonio, TX. Sitting days at each destination. AGAIN, this was a two-day Priority Express shipping Flat envelope!!! Why did you ruin my Christmas and my kids' Christmas??? What Happened?? I need answers and restitution! NEVER Trust the USPS to ship you package for Christmas, they DON"T care. Why offer a PRIORITY service if you cannot follow through with it? When did you stop delivering PRIORITY. What were the hours and manpower set for this service at the Holidays? I expected the service that I stood in a long line for to get my Flat envelope to its destination in the time I was promised.
I have called repeatedly, I have filled out a service request. I have put in feedback with my information and NO ONE has contacted me! The Flat Envelope finally just arrived the day AFTER Christmas, (it took a week and one day to be delivered) when everyone has started to take down decorations and doesn't care about getting a gift late. I expect a Manager to call me with an explanation that is not too much to ask after the damage you have done.

Seller shipped item quickly. USPS said delivery would be on 12/20/25. On 12/20/25, item sat in USPS Indy Distribution Center (30 minutes from my house) for 3 days before they transferred it to Michigan. USPS said weather delays caused the delay. There was no weather issue in Indy during that time. USPS moved item to another location in Michigan before returning to Indy on 12/26/25. Said there were volume issues with delivery. No way...They made a mistake and refuse to own up to it. Sitting back in Indy distribution center and they have yet to deliver it. Never ever use USPS for shipping! They are unreliable for delivering on time and product in good condition.

My experience at Chowchilla Post office for a new Passport application for my 2 months old son. I live in Madera, CA and it takes me 20 mins or so to reach there. I went on 18th Dec 2025 to collect forms. And with all the documents, me, my wife and our little one reached there on 22nd, and the young lady told us that we need an appointment for new passport acceptance, which we realized our mistake, and set up an appointment for the next day for 11.45am.
Next day, as we were leaving the house, the infant started to cry, to take care of his needs, it took us some time, as we didn’t want him to be fussy at the post office appointment, so we were late 10 to 15 mins. We were feeling bad that we didn’t make it on time and apologized to the young person standing behind the counter and were glad at the same time, as no one was there in the post office so we might get helped. We were surprised to hear the tone of the young tall person, saying that they don’t help with passport services between 12pm-1pm, which I understand, and again told him that due to infant issues we were only 10-15 mins late, but the manner of tone of the tall young man was so demeaning that we thought for a second what a big mistake we have done.
We were thinking, even if we were to be helped at 1145 am, it should have easily taken 30 to 40 mins with infant picture taking all, and which would have passed the 12pm deadline. And with nobody besides us in the post office, he just kept repeating they can’t help. As we were to drive back to Madera, I went back again just one more time to request them, as it’s not very easy travelling with infant and more importantly the store was not busy at all.
The moment I entered I saw 4 employees just chit chatting behind the counter area, and I asked one employee to see if they could help us, he also said the same thing and told me that I should have reached 30 mins early, which sounds great and I understand that. Thankfully, another older gentleman was there, must be a supervisor, I requested him too and asked him politely, that due to child issue we got 10 to 15 mins late, but he also said same thing, like the others were saying, looks like they must be really good at throwing policy book at clients or great team players, because, they knew my issue well before I talked them in detail, must have talked to each other, when I entered the store second time. Which is great, as team unity is important in a retail environment.
Funny part is, when I was pleading with the supervisor, an older female customer came and overheard our conversation. Even she said, give him a break, as Christmas is around the corner, at that time, the supervisor said ok, wait for one hour then we will help you, especially if the other scheduled appointment doesn't show up. I realized they are in no mood to help me today, even when the store was empty most of the time. I left the store and scheduled an appointment for another day, unfortunately at the same place, as this is one nearest to me for passport services.
My issue is not that I wasn’t helped, or rule book was thrown at me, as I was polite at all times and left the store thinking, why everyone there was not in a mood to accommodate, starting with demeaning tone to making sure no one makes exception especially in regard to passport services even when they were not busy. Being myself in a retail leadership role for the last 15 plus years, I felt there was something missing out there. To which I realize there is a leadership issue at this location, especially when I talked to supervisor, I could feel that he don’t want to do different what his staff have already said, or try to understand the situation, and take action on what is best for this store, which is providing a great customer experience. And now I also understand why that young gentleman spoke to us like this, why even the store was empty, they don’t want to help, because the culture in the store is like this.
As I looked more regarding functioning of Post office, I came across that Post Office employees are Public Servants but are NOT funded through public taxes, instead are self-funded through sales In there stores, which suggests me this should be a great reason to provide strong customer service experience, as I was also going to buy passport size pics and other stuffs, which I guess was revenue for the store. Which makes me wonder about a lot of other things.
I understand that there are times when there should be no exceptions and policies should be followed. But sometimes, when circumstances like this, a person was in your store 3 times, bringing his 2 months old infant twice, coming from a different town, only a few mins late and the store was not busy, I guess little consideration should have been given, just my thoughts.
Going through others' feedback, I see a pattern in this location, that employees don’t like helping people especially coming with passport submission requests. It is unfortunate that the Madera location does not serve as a passport submission facility, where I have been going over all these years without any issue. Also, understanding that Madera location is quite a busy location too, but still providing exceptional customer experience. Sorry for Long feedback but I feel my experience there mandated this for others to understand the overall experience at this location.

When it comes to packages around the holidays, very unreliable unless you pay for express or expedited shipping. My package actually arrived 30 min away from me 3 days before the holiday, and they are purposely holding it until after the holidays. Especially now that they have Christmas Eve and after Christmas off, forget about it. It’s a shame, because I wish I had an option to pick it up since my package is no more than 40 min away from me. A mail certified letter at the post office in Sarasota on a Wednesday with a destination also in Sarasota approximately 4 miles from the post office. On tracking it, the letter went in 2 days to Tampa for sorting, and then came back to Sarasota where it sat for another three days being “processed“; it is still in Sarasota, now scheduled for delivery on Monday. 5 days to travel 4 miles but it actually traveled approximately 140 miles. Now that’s inefficiency at its highest level. Something is terribly wrong when 30 years ago such a delivery would happen the following day. I literally resent seeing numerous expensive ads on television claiming superb service of USPS for 250 years when this is how they operate. It’s time to privatize the Postal Service because the government certainly can’t handle it.

What is the point in having a tracking system if you aren't going to actually, you know, TRACK the packages? My daughter in Japan is watching for a package but we don't know where it is...after 12 days! I go to the PO the next day and they can't find my package, and they can't look up the tracking number because the network is down. Then they disappear. Two days later I am told that the package is at another post office 10 miles away. When I go there, they can't find it because the network is down and I need to sign electronically. That's when I politely said that I wasn't leaving until I received my property. I pointed to a box behind the counter and asked if that was mine. It was.
About twenty years ago I recall a news story about how the USPS had become so efficient that they had to actively delay ordinary first class mail because it would often be delivered within 24 hours of the PO's receipt. That made overnight express delivery unnecessary and as consumers realized, they wouldn't pay extra for a service they were going to get anyway. I smile at my mail carrier and give them some chocolate at Christmas, but otherwise I would prefer to never interact with USPS again. And they say that the letter is coming to my address but to give it time. More than 20 people told me different things. What is inside the letter is something I needed receive before Dec 1st and I have to use that item everyday. USPS and the workers, including the supervisors, don’t admit that they made an error. If they made a mistake, why don’t they fix it as soon as possible.
Every call I made told me something else. How can wait for something that I need for every day use. I have to spend money for this item because they didn’t resolve this problem. The A.I system is flawed. They make you reply more than 10 times and they hang up on you, forcing you to call back. It is the worst service for a certified letter. I have driven down here from New Jersey to Pompano Beach Florida where I am looking for a real estate investment. I've had a PO box at 325 West Groveland Avenue in Somers Point, New Jersey 08244 for years now. I confirmed with my local post office before coming here that I could have a second post office box in Florida so I can have my mail transferred while I'm looking for real estate investment, also it says on the website and all over the internet that having an out-of-state PO box is perfectly allowed and the forms are available.
I went to the post office at 1950 Northeast 6th Street in Pompano Beach Florida 33060 and asked the lady at the counter to just review my second form of identification before I go online and fill out the forms. The woman told me that I was not allowed to open a PO box in Florida because I don't have a Florida address, I explained to her that I got the forms online read about it on the website and confirmed it with my local post office that it is allowed. She told me that I was not allowed to do it and I would need to use a friend's address and have a notarized letter that I'm staying with them which is absurd!
I tried to help this woman understand that the rules are clear on the United States postal service website and she said NO! I told her I would like to speak with the postmaster. Her reply to me was quite rudely I might add, " I am the lead here and I'm telling you that you can't open the post office box and you can go online and file a complaint." Under no circumstances am I going to be turned away from this postal worker. I filed a complaint over the phone. My case number is **.
The lady on the phone agreed with me and was very understanding. She gave me the phone number for the direct district office which I'm trying to get in touch with now. If you do a Google search for this post office and read the reviews you will find that the place has a horrible reputation for its conduct. Who is this woman because she claims to be some big “lead” thinking she has the right to make her own rules or deny me speaking to the postmaster??
I am going to make as much noise as I need to make but this woman should be terminated from her job immediately, she has absolutely no concern for the people who go in there totally unaware of what they mean they need to receive through the mail. I would appreciate a reply so that I know this is being addressed. I want my post office box and I need it now! Even after I get it this woman will be certain to make sure my packages are delayed, missing or damaged because she's going to know it was me who made this complaint. I am not going away.
Further, her excuse for this treatment was that they get a lot of fraud! So she's categorizing me? The fact that they get a lot of fraud is not my problem if it's even true and to categorize me as somebody who could be committing fraud is unacceptable. That's being made guilty before even committing a crime. Thank you for your time in this matter

The USPS, through a recent misguided policy, has become completely inefficient and unreliable. Due to an increased frequency of carrier accidents, the USPS has decided to discontinue package/parcel deliveries to residences. Their internal problem, that could be addressed through training and an implementation of quality assurance measures, has been dumped on the consumers. According to a USPS manager, they have a contract with Amazon to deliver 80% of their packages. If you pay for an Amazon Prime membership you are throwing your money away. Two day shipping is only possible if you’re willing to go pick your packages up at the Post Office. Amazon is complicit in this USPS debacle. The manager told me directly that the only way the USPS could improve is if it privatized.

The USPS is not like any other international delivery service I’ve ever experienced. It’s terrible. For example, in the UK if you put a valid address on a letter or a parcel it gets delivered there. Even if the name on the parcel is not correct or spelt correctly or does not live there. As long as it is a valid address, they will deliver it there. They consider it the sender’s responsibility to make sure that the information is correct. In other words they’re not responsible if you get it wrong. Not so with the USPS. This created a big headache for me as I am in the United Kingdom and I shipped an original piece of artwork to the USA to an address where the recipient owned the property and used to live there although they did not live there any longer. The residents at the property were this person‘s tenants so they knew the person that I had sent it to.
But because the mailman thought that the recipient would not be known there anymore, he marked it as addressee unknown. He never went up to the house and knocked on the door. He never left a card. He didn’t even hold it at the post office and mark the tracking as held for more information requested. I think he just decided to send it back to be difficult because it was an international parcel. The same day he failed to deliver it he sent it back to the Kansas City international distribution center. They sent it on to Chicago who sent it back to Kansas City who sent it back to Chicago who sent it back to Kansas City who sent it to Saint Paul Minnesota who sent it back to Chicago. It was in SIX distribution centers nine times over 30 days and then they just stopped.
Customer service was extremely rude to me and kept explaining why they sent the parcel back. I didn’t need to know why they sent it back. I just needed to know why they wouldn’t actually send it back. All they wanted to do was chastise me about the address not being correct. But it was a correct address and the postman should not have been relying on his personal thoughts to decide whether or not to deliver the parcel. The USPS is supposed to deliver mail. They are a service company not a thinking Company. Consequently, I don’t have my package back and customer service got so tired of me asking why it was going back-and-forth and back-and-forth and back-and-forth between distribution centers that they quit talking to me. They think it’s my fault: but why does that give them the right to ignore me and steal my property.
I filed a missing mail request and got no response. So I filed another one and that one they picked up, but they’ve done nothing with it and it’s been three weeks. How can a division of the United States government blacklist someone just for complaining? It wasn’t my decision to send it back. It was theirs. Therefore, I am not responsible for their decision to send it back. Why can’t they just do their jobs? I suggest you use any other delivery company than USPS because if they decide they don’t like you, they will steal your property and then blame you.

I initial Closure & Inaccessibility (December 2024): I rented P.O box at the Trolley Square station. The box was closed without my consent. After I complained, it was reopened. I subsequently paid for its renewal, demonstrating my intent to maintain the service,
Systemic Failure Begins: Despite my payment, the post office again closed my box and changed the lock. Astonishingly, they continued to place mail into a locked box to which I was denied access.
Complete Loss of Mail: For months, each visit to the post office to inquire about my mail was met with the same response from clerks: "We don't know where your mail is." During this time, I complained to the Postmaster for Wilmington, and Postal Service, to no avail, if anything it made the situation worse.
Two months ago, (September 2025), I spoke with the new supervisor who acknowledged the problem. He personally delivered a large accumulation of my mail a few days later. This confirmed that my mail was being held within the facility, inaccessible to me. Since that one-time delivery, I have received no mail whatsoever. In fact, 11/19/25, I received a call from Delmarva Power requesting my new address, I told the young lady that that I’m still at the same address. She then explained that the post office sent my mail back and wrote on the envelope, “return to sender, moved wear about unknown .” This is not a case of intermittent service; it is a complete blackout of my postal delivery.
On November 17, 2025 I visited the Rodney Square office. The clerk, who was visibly annoyed, again stated she did not know where my mail was and, when I requested to speak with the supervisor, I was told he was not available. The consequences of their shameful failures are not merely inconvenient; they are catastrophic.
• Financial Security: My bank sent a new debit card six weeks ago. It has never been delivered, leaving me without secure access to my funds.
• Loss of Vital Benefits: Most devastatingly, the Delaware Department of Labor sent time-sensitive correspondence regarding my unemployment claim. Because the post office held this mail for over three months, the deadline to respond expired. As a direct result, my unemployment benefits have been terminated, and I'm now indebted to the state of Delaware for a portion of the payment received.

Next, when the parcel lock box is full they return packages to USPS instead of attempting delivery the following day even though the package is not available for pick up until the following day. It averages one hour including drive and wait time to go pick up a package yet they won't deliver the package 0.1-0.2 miles past the imaginary line.
Next, after lodging complaints my carrier has delivered my government issued documents that need timely action to another address. This has occurred multiple times with important bills or government documents. Send a package to be delivered before someone's birthday. Even paid the appropriate fees to assure it would arrive on time. I'm in Missouri and I was only sending it to Minnesota. But for whatever reason they decided to send it all the way across the country over end of Virginia to come back this way to get to Minnesota. Obviously not making the date I paid for, but yet you're expecting me to pay the full price for services that I didn't get. This has been an ongoing problem lately and I literally could have drove the damn thing up there a hell of a lot faster. I will be expecting a full refund on this purchase cause there is absolutely no call for it to go all the way east across country to go two states away from me. That's just absolutely stupid and ludicrous and if it is human error you seriously need to reevaluate the humans you have working for you. If it's AI you just flat out need to get rid of that AI bullshit

This office is a joke. The item was received at the office at 5:43 am on 10-25-2025 and went out for delivery at 7:09 am same day. The carrier DID NOT LEAVE A PINK SLIP, due to what I was told, she couldn't leave it at the box. I went 5 days later to pick up the package with the info posted online. "On 10-30-2025 at 2:50 pm package held by carrier as delivery address is incorrect or incomplete. Please contact the carrier to update your address info." I went to the office and they couldn't find the package. Called the carrier and she didn't have it. The office person told me that it was sent back, WHAT? NO PINK SLIP, NOT HOLDING IT FOR ONE DAY, PER THE INFO POSTED ONLINE. Sorry, it was sent back today at 10:30 am.
THESE PEOPLE ARE THE REASON PEOPLE GET PISSED OFF AT THE POST OFFICE. Why can't you do your job? I was told a package should be set here at the Post office for 15 days before it is sent back, they had it for 5 days. The carrier LIED when posted online, she "customer refused delivery", she never came to our door, do you know how I know. I never left my home, and I can prove it with my onboard camera installed in my truck. Then at 2:56, posted Package arrived at a carrier facility, LIE, they already had it. This carrier needs to be retrained for her job, and if she has problems, get another job. If you worked for me, you would hear these words: "Please pack up your things and get out". If this is how you were trained to not deliver the packages and LIE, then your Postmaster needs FIRED.

All parcels are supposed to be scanned at every stop so where is mine? It is Oct. 30 and there have been no other scans. Since it is Priority, it should be moving the fastest way possible (by air to Hawaii) but now I think they may have put the box on a ship, which means it will take a lot longer, or maybe they lost the box. If it was received at the Hawaii Dist. Ctr., it would have been scanned. I have been told by an employee that at least once they have opened a shipping container they received by boat and found Priority boxes in it.

I'd give negative stars if it was possible. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional "company" in my life. Our household is missing so much mail! My dad was supposed to receive a check from the Department of Treasury and IT NEVER SHOWED UP. It showed the image on Informed Delivery but never made it to the house. Their answer was "You're going to have to have the treasury department send you another check. There's nothing we can do." And we all know how likely THAT is going to be. Also, 9 out of 10 of our packages end up lost, damaged or extremely late. USPS takes absolutely no responsibility or accountability for their screw ups. They are able to not do their job, or do it poorly and then everyone else gets to deal with their stupidity. Absolutely no accountability. I've never been so disappointed.
I've tried to file complaints. I have one of THEIR employees delivering my "lost" package to the house very late at night (assuming it's so they didn't get caught) on video. He's wearing pajamas and we recognized him from past deliveries when he was in uniform. I have back-and-forth emails with supposed managers. One told me, "You can do your best to file a claim with another branch about our service, but it'll end up being sent to me anyways." I took that as a don't bother because nothing will come of it anyways. I'm beyond frustrated and tired of the mismanagement and poor service. An international package landed in Sarasota, FL and was misdelivered. It says so in tracking. USPS opened a case twice, then closed it. I just got off the phone with a USPS agent and she says that it has been declared "lost". The Glengarry Post Office in Sarasota claims that there was a mistake in scanning and then they corrected it to my home address. USPS Informed Delivery still shows that it was delivered to "front desk/mail room". They have no way to find out where that is. Someone, presumably from the Glengarry Post Office, delivered it there. Once the package is declared "lost", USPS has washed its hands of it. Along with many other people serviced by Glengarry, I wrote a review on Google about the local carrier (not my regular guy, Luis -- he's great) putting an attempted delivery slip in my mailbox, even though I was home, and driving away. This happened 3 times.
Recently a mail carrier misdelivered a package, and thanks to Luis, he found it and brought it to me with an apology. If you look at Google Reviews for the Glengarry P.O. you'll see a long list of complaints about lost packages and an overall score of 1.6. I tried multiple times to call Glengarry and got a "circuit busy". Same thing happened with USPS Customer Service's phone line, although I got through today and the person I talked to was very nice, but could only say "lost" and nothing more USPS can do. She suggested talking with the shipper in Australia to see if I can get a refund, but it's not their fault! Your tracking shows it making its way through their mail system and nothing going wrong until it landed in Sarasota's USPS system.
That package landed somewhere in Sarasota, to a "front desk", so the local post office should find out from the mail carrier where that was. If he's saying he then scanned it correctly to my address, then why does USPS still show "front desk"? Your customer service agent, when told that the carrier "hit the wrong button", had no idea what that meant. Do you? The name of the carrier, or his employee number, should be associated with that package. However, it was probably erased before or after I filed a complaint. I will have to refrain from ordering from overseas businesses. Another package was delivered from Thailand, landed in the Chicago Distribution Center, and sat there for three weeks. It was a plant, and it was nothing but mush when I finally received it. The sender tried to file a claim and got nowhere.

I even went to the post office to pick it up myself—the day after getting out of the hospital, with strict instructions not to drive—because I urgently needed the package. To make matters worse, USPS refuses to issue a refund since I picked it up instead of waiting for another failed delivery attempt. This is completely unfair. I paid extra for overnight service, and they did not uphold their end of the deal. It’s unacceptable to offer an “overnight” option that doesn’t actually mean overnight, especially when there’s no accountability or compassion for customers dealing with real-life situations. It appears they have changed their departure process as far as pickups for mail. Now they only pick up once a day at 6:30 a.m. where I live. So that means, when I bring a package in and send a priority, it won't go out until the next day, so we've already delayed a day in shipping time. Now, a critical package for a car repair on a unit that is needed for my vehicle to pass inspection is delayed. It was brought to the post office on Monday and was to be here today, Thursday. However, it's been bouncing around the Distribution Center for going on 3 days. Apparently paying for priority is useless.

All was a group of chargers, batteries and other digital camera stuff that people still use since many items are compatible. My point is items were missing they cause. The guy paid $40 and I had to refund him some money to make him happy and be fair and honest as I am!
I had to file insurance and thats not easy as they never were very good setting up their site at USPS. Even after they call what they think is an update. They never responded and said if I ask an questions it would only prolong my claim. So all I could do was wait. Then got a check in the mail for $25. That's it! No reason for the idiot solution someone decided on. So sent in an appeal that maybe they might even get a reason. Time went by. I gave up. Then maybe a week or so later got their response. They called it depreciation of the items? They depreciated because they lost some is all! Of course the value went down Einstein!
I had to refund because of what someone there did but and was their conclusion! Then they said I can file an appeal AGAIN and include a bunch of time taking forms or proof which I already did plain as day. I give up. I just was so mad at stupidity and greed that I had to at least say something. All this time I spent on this $15 that I had to pay extra is just not worth it had I know this in the beginning. So hope nobody else has to deal with the paid greedy idiots there. Here is the link to what was shipped and photos of what post office did to the shipping box. Since it's on eBay I have no actual receipt anymore as it's all on their records. **

I am really fed up with the POSTAL SERVICE. It seems like whenever I have a package, if it isn't my regular mail carrier who delivers it, then these other employees always mark my package as delivered when they were nowhere near my apartment. This is the 4th time this has happened to me and each time, which is ironic, I had a food delivery or grocery delivery coming, I always got my food and grocery deliveries at the times they claimed they delivered my package. How is it that they are able to keep marking packages as delivered when they weren't.
I have lost total and complete faith in them years ago and I also feel like, because of the area I live in, the South Shore in which was a prominent one, these people they have delivering don't like to do their jobs. And I always end up having to reach out to the companies, letting them know I didn't get it and having to get a refund. My mail carrier is great, I love her. And I don't understand why she wasn't able to deliver it with the other package she delivered? It was small enough, nothing big. And it makes me feel like these carriers who mark packages as delivered are stealing them. I work too hard for my money to keep consistently having these people not do their jobs and not be held accountable.

I have a community mailbox. My mail is NOT delivered to my actual house, it is delivered to a locked box located with other locked boxes. 7/2 of this year, a bathing suit is “delivered” but not in my box. I call my local postal annex. I’m told my mailman was on vacation so the person covering probably stuck it in the wrong box. Which I can actually hear a voice in the background say “Oh, I probably stuck it in the wrong box oops, hee hee”. That’s not my problem; incompetence of your employees is not my fault. The solution was to file a form for reimbursement. Which I did and I have heard nothing.
Now it’s September, still no answer on the bathing suit, but now my dog vitamins and 2 t-shirts have been “delivered” but NONE of it was in my box. I call the post master to file an official complaint. That’s 4 packages in 3 months!!?? Is my mailman taking my stuff? It’s a community mailbox! It is not being stolen unless THE POST OFFICE IS PUTTING IT IN THE WRONG BOX. Again, not my problem!!! People that do their jobs at my company don’t have jobs!
My annex is supposed to investigate my claim per the postal inspector complaint. The local annex just closed my case. They email me to contact the sender — really? It’s the sender's fault that they keep stealing or misplacing my mail???? Then they tell me to look around for hidden places. What? Again, community mailbox!!! And if for some reason they did walk it to my house, guess what, I HAVE A CAMERA, SO NICE TRY. I would have seen when & where the package was placed.
Then they suggest in this ridiculous email for ME to go door to door and ask if anyone got my packages. WHAT? My mailman covers BLOCKS. How would I know where he made the mistake? How many blocks should I cover? How about this, how about the employee that wrote this email goes door to door for blocks looking for my packages that they lost? How does that sound, Renee **? Now I had to call back, I’m waiting for the next step, I’m out $200+ dollars, all my mail is on hold because I can’t trust them and I’m going to have to get mail box elsewhere just to avoid the USPS. Reliable? Nope. And they don’t care if they lose all your stuff. Wish negative stars was a thing.

He started screaming that he didn't know me and demanded that I leave. The postmaster witnessed it all. I asked if he stood by that. He said no and apologized. He said nothing to the clerk in front of me. It has been probably a year or so. Since the second indecent. I went in to do business. The taller male clerk was working, my southern upbringing taught me to say, "Hey, how are you doing," etc always!!! In the middle of saying how he interrupted and said loudly 'what will be?' I tried again in the middle of how he again almost screaming, "What will it be!?" I didn't say anything other than my business.
I did not thank him because I wasn't thankful because of his attitude. As I turned around he started screaming at me that I was rude and did not thank him. It took me so abbak to be personally attacked. I don't remember exactly what I said. I yelled back. I'm sure I used a cuss word. He screamed GET OUT!, IF I CAME BACK HE WOULD REFUSE ME SERVICE! I talked to the postmaster the next day at the Foley AL. Location. He works both. He said talk to him and file a report. Saw him several times in passing. Asked about progress, none reported? My latest issue involves a package that was marked as 'delivered' but was nowhere to be found. After I contacted USPS customer service (844-637-1509), an investigation was opened. I received an email from Supervisor Taramattie **confirming that the package was indeed misdelivered and is now considered irretrievable. The carrier went back but could not find it, and there is seemingly no accountability for the person who received my package by mistake.
To add insult to injury, I was told that because the package was not insured, I cannot be reimbursed, and the burden falls on me to contact the merchant for a reshipment or refund. This is absolutely unacceptable. The post office made the error, yet they take zero responsibility for it. This isn't just about a missing package; it's about a complete failure of service and a lack of accountability. Lakeville Post Office needs to do better. Please help our community.

Most recently, my attorney sent me important documentation via Priority Mail on August 28, and it has still not been delivered to my home. I filed a report, but I have received no resolution or meaningful updates. When I called customer service, I was told my package is not lost. However, when a package cannot be delivered by the guaranteed date and no one can locate it, that is the definition of lost. This has caused me significant stress and inconvenience. USPS must take responsibility for mishandled packages and the disruption it causes to people’s lives. Right now, it feels as though there is little to no accountability.
1. An immediate update on the location of my package.
2. Accountability for the repeated issues with lost mail.
3. Assurance that steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
This situation is unacceptable, and I urge USPS to handle this with the seriousness it deserves.

I know, I should never have sent cash in the mail, but I thought maybe, sending the envelope, "Certified," she would receive it, WRONG. This means nothing if you send something valuable through the United States Post Office. I didn't want to lose the money, but I'm more upset about the title, because I have to go through a lot more changes to replace it! If I told you about all the "Red Tape" the post office has put me through, you would never believe it.
I went to the post office from which I originally sent the envelope with receipt/tracking #. The clerk said my envelope was delivered to a business and left at a mailroom, well my daughter lives at a private residence! My daughter went to the local post office where she lives to find out if they found the envelope. They had the nerve to tell her they didn't know where it was delivered! This is supposed to be "Certified" mail, which was supposed to be signed for! All the post office could offer me for all my troubles and loss was the "Run Around" and $5 and change, not even the $7 and change I paid for the delivery, which they can keep!
All I got from the post office was an apology. I felt like they didn't care and that they were covering up for person who they must of known was supposed to deliver my envelope. I called the police department to report this incident. He said "You're better off hand delivering your packages and mail because the post office had numerous complaints against them."
