After a serious accident medical care in Mexico the hospital and doctors who performed surgery processed several charges on my Wells Fargo Visa card as "CASH ADVANCES". After returning to Florida for additional medical care I noted a minimum payment due of $7,202 due the following month. I attempted to have Visa convert the charges to a normal charge, but they would not do so. FDR has been very helpful.

Overall a very good experience. Only thing disappointed about is that I received a summons on one of accounts when I had been told it was being worked due to the prior 2 letters I'd received. On April 19, 2017, I received a settlement amount from Sears. I called FDR to let them know the good news and went over to UPS to fax the paperwork to them. Balance was $12,310.70 and the settlement amount of $3,077.68. Sears was accepting settlement amount in three monthly installments. At that point, I had a total of $4,400 in my FDR account. After a few days, I called FDR for the status of the settlement. They had not received my fax. I refaxed the paperwork again on 5/5/17. Still no word. I only had til 5/11/17 to accept the settlement amount. When I called FDR again, I was told that I would have a better settlement amount at a later date, from Sears. Overall, I am happy with their service and appreciate everything they have done for me.

The time on the phone was precise and to the point. All was explained to me and after a few questions I knew this was something that would help me pay off my debt. The gentleman who spoke to me was polite and very professional. I would not hesitate to pass the word on how this could help others.

I have been in the program since October 2011. I was promised that the program was going to take 48 months and it was extended to 60 months. I still have one credit pending of 20,000. I have in the accounts 9120.00. I called in December to check my progress and I was told that I needed to be patient and there was enough money to cover that bill. I called 2 days ago and I was told I needed to give more money because it was not enough. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I spoke to Travis. He told me I had 2 options either to deposit more money or to withdraw from the program. I told him since when they needed more money and he told me March. I never received an email informing me. This is not the way you treat someone that wants to clear her credit.

I really like this company a lot. They are very helpful and want to go out of their way to get you cleared. The only thing 1 would like to change is my monthly payments. When I initially spoke to a counselor, they said my debt would be paid off in 2018, now it says 2023. I would not have signed up if I had known it would change so much. You had all my credit cards from the beginning so why would you promise me 2018 would be my pay-off time? I feel like you misrepresented yourselves.

Every time I send an email I only get a response one week later. As a result I will never email you guys ever again. Very upset over that and my monthly draft was increased because of a new account but the account was resolved but my monthly amount should be lowered to original amount because the account was settled.

Thus far, Freedom Debt Relief has done everything they said they would do. This includes sending forms to notify creditors, deducting amount for settlements account setup; we haven't settled any accounts yet because it's not time yet! The plan is to pay accounts off within or around three years.

We are very happy with the results with Freedom Financial Debt Relief. We have only started in the program in January 2017 but in May one of our credit card debt was resolved for half of the amount. The customer service at FDR needs a lot of work. I have sent numerous messages, and all I get back are form emails sometimes weeks later. I asked FDR if they could settle a particular debt first because the creditor had filed a lawsuit against me. Since I hadn't been served yet, I wanted to avoid the hassle of dealing with the legal issues. Instead, FDR settles 4 other debts, some with higher outstanding amounts, with absolutely no explanation or reason why. I also asked if my private student loan debt could be settled second because defaulting on a student loan is not an option for me given that I work for the government. FDR has settled every other debt except my private student loan and the debt with a pending lawsuit. There is no excuse for the lack of communication and failure to respond to my problem. If I hadn't already started the program with FDR, I would definitely go with another provider. I wouldn't recommend FDR to anyone.

Freedom Debt Relief was the right choice for me. Without them I would have had to file bankruptcy. That is not something I would ever want to do. My credit means everything to me. And with their help that will not happen. Me and my family are very grateful to them.

When we get someone at our home serving us with a court appearance date we suspect Freedom's not using their best efforts in our behalf to resolve our issues. We followed the guidelines given by Freedom, did not make minimum payments for over 6 months and continue to deposit $462.00 every month. The NLLG attorney is looking for more money to keep our checking account from being frozen!!! Our court date was changed to 7/3/17 per NLLG attorney Carl **. There is no change in our ability to pay more.

I was hesitant at first but everything they promised is coming true and they are extremely professional and efficient with my account. I am very happy with how my situation is being handled and I look forward to completing the program with confidence.

I have been in the program for over a year and the Freedom Debt Relief Counselors have settled 2 debts for me and I gave 5 other debt settlements ongoing to date. This program really works and my credit score has increased. Thanks to FDR.

I have only recently joined. I have sent out the change of address and phone forms to the companies that you sent me. I am still receiving phone calls and letters from the companies. What should I do? I gave them your address and phone to contact instead of me as directed in the welcome packet.

I was reviewing my situation with you guys, and I figure that after all been said and done I really just saved a small amount using your services as compare as going alone and talking to the creditors myself, but I guess I made a contract with you and will continue to the end. Should of do lot more research. I had call and try to understand more about how is this possible and the answer I got was, "it's all explain in your contract" - not cool.

Your plan is great for me and you considered my needs in the development. Every time I've had any interaction with employees has been wonderful. They make me confident in what we are doing together. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with your service.

We are only at the beginning stages of getting our debt cleared and so far it's working out great! I don't think it would have been possible to come to this point in our lives from our finances being hit hard with our economy taking a hard blow to the belly without Freedom Debt Relief! I could not be any happier so far with everything so far. They have done exactly what they said they would do. If I have questions, they are always available. I am very happy to have them helping me. Anyone buried in credit card debt should use their service.

So far it has been a good experience with Freedom. Their fees are very high. One account resolved the fees to Freedom were $515.00. I am not happy with consolidated their company who tries to get you a loan to resolve faster. Bad service.

As I receive notices from FDR that another creditor was negotiated a settlement, I feel a sigh of relief. If I'm at work reading the emails, I thank GOD I'm sitting down. Everything is going smooth, except American Express. I feel that this one account should have been worked on in the beginning, because I have been contacted by their lawyers and now I have a hearing date on Aug. 2, 2017 for this money owed to them in the amount of $8,000.00. Maybe this would have not happen if this was worked on sooner.

I am very happy with the overall overview of the program. I like that I can see each of my past debts and how much was saved in the payoff of each debtor. The only thing I would want to do is maybe add another creditor to payoff and I am not sure if that is an option of mine. I am also planning to increase my monthly payment in the next 6 months.

This is one of the best things I could have ever done to eliminate my debt leftover from a divorce. They helped me to rid myself of over 20k in credit card debt. Now I am on the road to being credit debt free. I couldn't be happier with the results so far.

They are great and help you any way they can. They send you a packet and you fill out information and send it off and you discuss your payment option. They also help with the nagging creditors to elevate the calls and threats.

I joined Fdr when I got sick and had to retire. My bills were getting out of control. I wanted to pay them, but I just didn't have the money. We accumulated debt and thought this would help our situation. This has been a lot of work, headaches, many times asking for additional monthly payments to give to creditors. This has become a true nightmare. At the beginning November 2012 we were summons at our house to appear in court to dispute the collection from Discover. I have quite a bit of debt. FDR provided a way for me to pay these debts with negotiations with the creditors. It has been working extremely well for me so far. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is serious about getting out of debt.
