I contacted FDR back in 10/2015 to consolidate my credit card debt. They assisted me to reduce my debt more than half of what I owed with a fair amount of monthly payments. I highly recommend to anyone who's in need for help!

Savings? Though you may cut down the amount paid back to the CC companies, it isn't the amount actually saved. There still is the amount paid to you & amount paid on taxes as the individual is charged the difference as income. We are not saving all you say.

Freedom Debt Relief had done a great job on getting me out debt. They resolved four of my accounts and working on the other accounts that I had. Freedom has done great job and I like working them. I would recommend Freedom to a friend who needs to get out of debt.

I believe I was told my length of contract was going to be 36-40 months. My recent email showed 48-50 months. I started 9/16 the last payoff showed I should be debt free on 12/20. That's 50 months. I'm very satisfied with the work done on my behalf.

I had hoped I would be debt free of the 4 submitted fairly soon. Misunderstanding resulted in me paying large amount that just sat there in my account for months (turned out for good reason though) and presently after about 1 year I am nearly debt free of the 4 accounts. I am pleased with FDR and even with some misunderstandings they have done a job that actually exceeds what I thought would be done. If one has credit card debt that exceeds your ability to pay you will not go wrong signing on with FDR.

I was falling behind on all my bills, I am my worst enemy. I just kept believing I could somehow pay them all eventually. One day I ran across an ad for Freedom Debt Relief. I read reviews left by other people who had been in my situation and I thought I would give it a try. I believe they have settled 3 or 4 of my accounts which has taken a load off my back. I'm very pleased with my experience. I get the answers I need when I need them. I probably need to get more understanding on payments that have yet to applied to creditors on hold but like I said things seem to be moving right along... I haven't gotten any threats from etc.

One of my accounts that FDR was handling went into collections. When I called to ask why, I was told that I needed to pay an additional $168 per month to cover all. Not the story 2 and a half years ago. I was shocked by the man's general attitude, quite rude. So I fired them. Called my agent, Peggy, several times, leaving messages, and never got one return call.

I am a little disappointed because I feel like you drag your feet in making proposals. I deposited extra money twice because you said you could make a proposal only to withdraw it months later because nothing happened. I get told different things every time I call. I just can't wait for it all to be done.

We had approximately $25,000 in credit card debt. We were always only able to pay the minimum payment and were getting nowhere fast. We contacted Freedom Debt, started the program right away and they started debt resolution. Within a month, they resolved one of our credit cards! We've been in the program about 2 years now, almost all debt resolved, and feel a huge amount of relief. We would recommend Freedom Debt Relief 100% to anyone having debt issues.

Our case worker was too busy in selling the program than helping us. He forgot to mention that if we had a credit card assigned to our bank that said bank can withdrew the full amount to cover the credit card, which they did. He should of told us to close our checking account so this wouldn't happen. We got hit with $250.00 NFS fees plus we had no money for food or other essentials. And the ONLY thing they were concerned about when we called them was when can we pay them. If we could pay off the credit card we wouldn't have enlisted the help of Freedom Debt Relief. Very disappointed in the service I received. Would not recommended this company to anyone in our situation.

Last week I received a letter from a legal firm letting me know American Express has supposedly brought a case against me for my credit card balance. My dealings with the debt relief program thru Freedom Debt Relief has been amazing. I was treated as a real person and not a problem. I am 76 yrs old and my medications were out of control. I am diabetic and am treated for cholesterol and high blood pressure so my debt was out of control. I was desperate and did not know what to do and Freedom Debt Relief you could say saved my life and made my living a little easier.

FDR settled my debts and saved me a lot of money. I would have been paying minimum payments and accruing late fees and interest for another 16 years longer than it took them to settle my accounts. I have spent since February trying to resolve two accounts! One being Bank of America the other PayPal. With the help of William ** BoA was paid some 2 weeks ago! Then I find that PayPal is not paid and "nobody" is doing a thing to get this account paid???

I think Freedom Debt Relief is a little steep on their percentage rates. And I was expecting them to contact my debtors initially, but I see they take care of as couple debts at a time. But I had no help from anywhere else. And I am at least working on my debts.

Was told how all these big companies eagerly worked with Freedom Debt Relief, how I qualified for a federal debt relief program which allowed the creditors to take a tax break for the settlements and made them want to work with FDR, how I could lessen my payments and get my credit score raised in a year, how most do not pursue litigation and if I took the NLG service (which I did) I would be protected from legal fees and that they handle everything and would get it taken care of. On all counts wrong.

They could communicate better on the progress of your account. The information online is difficult to understand. I never know how I'm doing as far as paying off debt. It's frustrating to have to call to get information all the time. I think they could make online information more user friendly.

Have been highly pleased. Like the ability to be able to follow progress daily even though nothing changes for a while. Also whenever I do call in for information or an update my problem is taken care of promptly. Have enjoyed it so much I have gotten my mother enrolled.

I was very nervous and skeptical in the first few months, but, after over a year in the program, I can say that it has worked well for us. Yes, our credit score fell, but it is quickly recovering and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in several years. FDR has generally done what they promised. They did settle two of my four debts so far. But their customer service does not reach out to you very much, and they do not keep you well updated as to the status as they negotiate with creditors other than when an offer has been made. You must contact them periodically by phone.

I was satisfied. However 2 creditors did take me to court. So I will be paying them the total amount owed. I had no problems with any other creditors. I will be glad to have them paid off. They were easy to work with and were always able to answer my questions.

I just began the program & frankly I am not even late yet on payments. Let's see going forward after my accounts get delinquent how things are handled. My experience with FDR has been good so far... However even though FDR have resolved over $70K of debt they have been unable to resolve one last credit card totaling $2,500!?! They have more than $2500 to paid it in full and yet nothing has happened for the past 6 months!?! I have called them at least 10 times and asked them to speed this up but they seem powerless on this small/final account!?! This review would be a 5-star review if they could get a move on it!!!

Was told that they would contact and arrangement payment with each and every creditor, for me not to speak with them or make any arrangements. They DID NOT. Also would not negotiate with companies once they had already made arrangements with other companies until they were paid off and left those companies hanging (got sued AGAIN!!) because there was enough money coming in to pay them until they were paid off. If you can make your own settlements... I got sued several times, so if you are considering this, get the optional lawyer protection, it will pay for itself many times over. I had never missed a payment in over 10 years until I went with this company and it totally sank my credit and reputation.

I have been very pleased with my results through FDR. I have already recommended their services to my friends and co workers. FDR has kept me apprised of all settlements and/or issues related to my account. I think it is a great program and an awesome option rather than filing bankruptcy. I am more educated now on credit cards and interest rates and am determined never to get into debt again.

I don't have any information from the website or customer service about how soon I will be able to finish this program and when a settlement agreement on my last account will be likely. Apparently the website can't handle something relating to my account and now I'm completely in the dark. The response is that I'm doing great? Not cutting it for me. I'd like to have clear insight into the progress and how much longer I will need to be making payment.

When signed up it was supposed to help. Being sued and lawyers want more money and say don't have enough money in acct. customer service just give you runaround. I was hoping it would be a quicker process. Feel like I was lied to. Had one of the accountants tell me that one of the banks, Chase, had written my debt off but FDR has not notified me of that and still has full amount due on my statement. Dishonest.
