Back on 3/1/2026 we booked a 5 night stay at Sandals and the price charged to our card was $6,433. That was only the actual charges for the resort as we booked our flights separately so that is almost $1,300 per night as we booked a relatively high-end suite. When we arrived to check in on 5/3/2026 (2 months after we booked the reservation and paid the full price) since we were in a relatively high-end suite we were provided with access to the Sandals Club concierge service and there were dedicated Sandals representatives to handle our check in.

The most senior representative that was in that group indicated to us that there was an issue and the room that we had reserved (and paid for in advance) was not available however the individual indicated that as a result they were going to upgrade us to a higher end suite that included butler service and we would stay in that room for 2 nights and then we would be moved to a comparable room to the one that we reserved. After being told of this we indicated how much of hassle it would be to move rooms and asked if we could just stay in the higher level room for the 5 nights and they indicated that was not possible as they needed the butler suite for other guests. After the representative could see that we were very unhappy they offered us a credit to our credit card account of $200 for the inconvenience of switching rooms and since we did not see any other options we agreed.

As it turned out when we inquired about determining how to contact our assigned butler the same senior representative indicated that we had misinterpreted her description and that we would be assigned a suite that normally has a butler assigned however we would not be entitled to butler service. Both of us were present for the discussion where the butler suite was described and clearly the discussion was that the butler service was to be included or why would we have any basis to know how a butler suite compares to the suite that we had reserved. As it turned out the butler suite was terrible as compared to the suite that we were moved to (based upon what we reserved) after staying there for 2 days.

Even though we were part of the Sandals Club concierge service we had other issues with reservations for services that were not recorded correctly and there were issues with dinner reservations.

Attached is a copy of the Sandals receipt that was provided to us for checkout on 5-8-2026. The attachment clearly states that our balance represents a credit of $200.00 as the Total Due line lists ($200.00). The language on the copy in the Terms section refers to “ will be added to your credit card presented as a form of settlement” which was our WF card and “The issuer of the credit card identified on this statement is authorized to pay the amount shown as balance ……” and again the card was our WF card.

As noted above given the issues when we checked in the Sandals senior check in manager communicated that as compensation for our troubles they would provide us with a credit on our credit card for $200 and then when we checked out we also confirmed with the check out representative we showed him the Sandals bill which we were provided that reflected the $200 credit and asked him to confirm how that would be resolved and he indicated that we would be receiving that credit on the same credit card that we used to pay the fees and the credit would take a few days to be processed. Both of us were present when these discussions took place. The check out representative actually started to crumple up the Sandals bill and was going to dispose of it however I asked that he return the copy to us in the event that there is any issue down the road. Thank goodness we maintained the copy for this matter.

When several days went by without any credit to our credit card we submitted an inquiry to the Sandals Customer Support site. We were informed from Sandals Customer Support that this $200 was intended to be issued as a credit for future use at the Sandals resort only however that was never what was communicated to us in any of our interactions with the Sandals personnel. In addition if that was the case then why wouldn’t that be spelled out on the billing that was provided on the checkout? If that language was on the final billing we would not have left the resort without raising our concerns then in real time.

After numerous follow up exchanges with the Sandals Customer Support site we were informed on 6/10/2026 that they had agreed to submit a request to their accounting group to process a credit to our credit card for the $200 and that within 10 to 14 business days that would be reflected on our card. We have attached a copy of that correspondence as well.

After the 14 business days had passed we followed up again and they indicated that they would not be honoring the commitment that was made by the initial representative when we checked in, by the representative when we checked out and the Sandals Customer Support representative on 6/10/26 to credit our credit card for the $200. Given the size of Sandals it is completely astonishing to us that when we paid them $6,433 they will make us go through this crazy effort for a $200 credit that numerous Sandals personnel have agreed to however they have not provided the $200 credit after several weeks of back and forth.

After several weeks of waiting for the Wells Fargo dispute team to resolve the dispute they communicated to us that they declined our dispute because the vendor provided their services (5 nights stay) and that we agreed to that since we stayed there for 5 nights. That was even though we were promised by 3 of the vendors employees (including one that was in writing) that we were to be provided with a credit on our credit card of $200. Their Wells Fargo dispute group is a total joke as we were with a different credit card company for years and always had favorable experiences with their dispute group. Stay away is you think you may need them to support you for disputes.

I got the One Key by Wells Fargo credit card about six months ago. I spent $1,000 within two months to qualify for the promotional reward, which was advertised as $400 in “cash.” I did not realize at the time that the reward was actually tied to Expedia, but I was willing to accept that. However, after several months and numerous calls with both Expedia and Wells Fargo, I still have not received my reward. Whenever I contact Wells Fargo, they tell me that I need to resolve the issue with Expedia. When I contact Expedia, they blame Wells Fargo, claiming that Wells Fargo never sent them the necessary information. I have an excellent credit score and several other credit cards, and I have never experienced this level of difficulty with any financial institution.

Do not trust Wells Fargo and their dispute department. I bought a weed wacker online 149.00. I ended up with a receipt from pay pal. The next day I get a receipt from pay pal for 172.38. I try calling pay pal. Can't talk to anyone. I call Wells Fargo, Tell them this is fraud. They put in dispute. My account continue to show 172.38, I called talked to a supervisor and he said its ok, they don't need anything. So I get this form in the mail which is late. I make an appointment with a banker and he says can't help. I call to get email so I can send to correct place, never received a email. Wells Fargo is a nightmare.

Beware. They offered me a credit card. I filled out the application. They gave me 10,000.00 credit line. No interest 18 months. I charged it up to like 8000.00 taking advantage of the no interest then I paid it off in one payment! Three days later they froze my account telling me suspicious activity, I got nervous- Called the fraud dept and was told absolutely nothing and I would have to wait for a letter?… Are you kidding me, now I’m thinking are the rest of my cards in jeopardy. Fast forward ten days I get the letter. It says they want me to fill out an IRS form about my income. So I call them, tell them we are retired and what is the suspicious activity. Now I’m told no suspicious activity. They want to verify my income!,,,, Mind you I was approved. Had the card for six months then paid it off. I guess they figured they were never getting interest out of me and told me if I didn’t fill out the forms they would close my account!

This puts a ding on my credit for no ** reason! Worst bank ever. Now mind you my husband's credit score is even higher than mine like 860 and they offered him a card but denied him. Such a screwed up establishment, approves a card then ruins your credit by closing it! I called the banking commissioner about these deceptive practices! Hope there is yet another class action on this bank!

Received my new credit card, set up all my auto pays. 6 weeks later received email notification that I just paid my GEICO insurance $811. Problem is I do not have GEICO and never did. Called within five minutes of the pending charge on my card, three days later and the charge is not pending anymore. It is a charge. Called Wells fargo back, asking why it went from pending to a charge and they said it was being investigated. I was under the impression if you called about a fraudulent charge immediately, and while it was still pending, it would not be processed through and take up to seven to 10 days for a resolution. I have two mortgages with them and two credit cards, not a good way to treat a long-term customer.

I have been a customer of this establishment since 2016. I submitted a claim, which was initially denied. Subsequently, I informed your team that the claim was no longer necessary as the merchant was processing a refund for the transaction. Despite this notification, funds were disbursed to me, resulting in an overpayment. Approximately three months later, a request for the return of these funds was issued, contradicting a prior denial letter stating that no payment would be sent. On March 3rd of this year, the overpaid amount was recovered by your organization. Currently, I am being asked to return these funds again, despite the fact that the case was officially closed two weeks prior, and any further correspondence was to be disregarded, as confirmed on a recorded call. I am seeking clarification regarding my legal options in this matter.

Add Vrbo credit card which was the same as Wells Fargo. Had problems with billing. That was not made by me. Or had problems with the company that overcharged. Contacted Wells Fargo credit card company. They did not back us at all contacted expedia, who they also deal with. They did not back us at hall. Neither did vrbo have cancelled every one of them. Would never recommend anyone to do business with any of them unless you wanna get screwed and lose your money. Ladies and gentlemen, I'd.

I was in Thailand. I had lunch at a tiny hole in the wall restaurant. The bill should have been $20 maximum. When I got home I saw that I was charged $450. To my dismay, Wells Fargo did not care about my issue because I did not have the receipt. I used my card everyday in Thailand. Wells Fargo Could clearly see the every restaurant bill was between $3 and $30. This Bill was more than my Hotel for 3 weeks. They didn't care. I dropped Wells as a Bank decades ago I now I am completely done.

I opened a new account was approved and immediately downloaded the app. They had an old phone number so therefore they could not text me a code so that I could change my password so that I could use the app. I called numerous times just to change my phone number answered all of the security questions and I was informed I had to go to a branch. There is no branch anywhere near where I live. Therefore I can't even use the card without them updating my phone number. I understand security but this is ridiculous when you answer all of the questions correctly I had every bit of information possible and they refused to change it. I told them I had no choice but to close the account then and they could have cared less. At this point I'm afraid to use the card with all of the bad reviews I just read.

I used this card to pay for my travel needs hoping that if anything would go wrong this card would protect my interests. That's what this card claims it would do. In reality their dispute department is a joke. The person I spoke with was less than informed about dispute procedures. I asked to talk to a manager and it wasn't much better. The manager told me that the disputed amount would be credited back to my account. It wasn't. When I asked why I can't see it they came up with some crazy theory about some other card. At this time I can't really figure out if they are that ignorant or just criminals who steals money.

It took 3 weeks to get my credit card with exceptional credit and direct deposit into my Wells Fargo account. They have all the information they need and still keep asking for pay stubs. Opened account on the 9th and sent me a statement on the 10th saying it was the first month. (One month that lasts one day?)

I closed my credit card with Wells Fargo this March 2026, and a Wells Fargo still charged me interest. Wow! When I opened my credit card with them it was no interest on my purchases, but later they started to charge me interest. The teller inside the Wells Fargo bank told me there will be no interest charged after I close my credit card. Wow! Be careful of Wells Fargo credit cards.

I am so disappointed in this institution! I received an offer to get a card with zero interest for 18 months. It all seems great until you try to pay the bill online. If you don't have a Wells Fargo checking account, you can't pay online or make auto payment. It's all done by snail mail! Ugh.

Is the customer service with my Wells Fargo Visa card the worst? Who knows, you can't get ahold of them. Onerous call trees, no prompts that match what you need service for, no option to speak with a live person, then after 20 minutes of labor, frustration, nonsense, transfers, holds, and tears, you are informed they can't handle your call right now, you will have to call back later, and it hangs up. If a spouse was the disrespectful and cruel, you would divorce them.
