After several Windows updates Total Defense had been deleted from my computer. At that time I found that I was unable to reinstall on my own. Jean was great. He was knowledgeable, courteous and patient and resolved my issues in just a few minutes. I am still very happy with my Total Defense choice and have come to trust them completely.

My monthly scan was not working. It should have taken less than one hour, and it was taking 7 hours. Aaron ** was able to help me fix the problem. He had me close out of all open programs and then use the restart button for the computer. When I got into the Total Defense again it worked. Thank you.

I called as I set up a new Android phone and wanted the Total Defense protection on it but it said I reached my total free devices. I uninstalled on old Android phone but it kept telling me I was over the limit so I called and spoke with Mike at Mediacom and he gave me Total Defense phone number and to mention that I was a Mediacom customer. Jean ** Customer Support Specialist, had me log out of the app on my new phone and log back in and then it worked. I totally appreciate all of Jean's help in this matter!

I appreciate Jean taking over the computer and installing Total Defense for me. I know I couldn't have done it alone. I got stuck on removing the prior virus protector but like a whiz Jean took over and uninstall all the components of the previous app. Jean was kind and very patient with me and I do appreciate that also. Carlos was very helpful, answering all of my questions and inquiries. He signed onto my computer at my request to be sure I successfully removed malware detected earlier today by Total Defense. The software has been working very well to keep my computer and our family safe. No Complaints and I will continue to renew. I also use Total Defense on our cell phones and tablets.

There was a problem with my purchase, my credit card has been charged 3 times and I only wanted one subscription. I called and Carlos was on the other end. I explained to him and everything was rectified, thank you very much Carlos. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Problem solved. My aunt is not a big computer person, and only gets on once in a while, she was having issues getting in, when I noticed that said the subscription had expired, called to get help with this, seeing it was not expired, and with help, found the place to log on and Presto it was fixed, THANKS TEC SUPPORT.

I accidentally clicked on a possible scam/virus site on Facebook..My screen was showing to call Microsoft to fix it....I call Total Defense immediately and got Aaron ** on tech support...He gave me several steps to correct the problem...#2 step was shutting down and restart...and so far so good..Once again Total Defense came to my rescue...Thank you Aaron and Total Defense..Mike D

I received e-mail that my auto pay could not be completed due to account information. I had updated my account when I had a new card issued some time back. My bank checked with me when auto pay was attempted checking validity of the request and request for payment did not go through before the bank inquiry. The individual I spoke with checked into the situation and his payment request was accepted. Individual was very helpful, and quick to resolve my issue.

Total Defense needed to work correctly. Dan finally got it fixed properly. He deserves a nice pay raise. I am a long time total defense customer, and appreciate all you do for me, especially when I have technical problems, as I am a dummy when it comes to fixing or correcting problems on my Mac book pro

Carlos ** was very professional and knowledgeable when handling our call, he quickly helped us in removing ultimate security package and send us link to install the premium security package...we explained how I accidently purchased the premium not knowing I was subscribed to auto-renew. Long story short I'm protected again with premium and canceled the ultimate.

Carlos was professional and friendly. He was extremely helpful and patient. He listened to my complaint and guided me on the nest way to do the new install. He stayed online and connected in order to better assist with the install as I continued to experience issues. He stayed connected until the install was successfully completed.

I had not attached: the correct receipt for the product, the customer service agent was quick to assist and entire issue took less than 10 minutes to resolve. I received a follow-up email after I submitted the new receipt and was told I would get a follow-up email if needed!

Your product has worked on all my devices for many years and now will continue for another three years. Since there are other programs on the market that claim to be better but your Total Defense works for me without complaints.

I’d like to mention Carlos ** for his incredible kindness and help in my situation with my rebate. 10/10 experience, he was very nice the entire conversation and explained everything super well which helped me understand what was needed on my end. The claim process to manually submit the rebate was simple and efficient, and the instructions were easy and understandable.

I called and TD Support Svs Specialist/ Rep Mr Carlos answered my call. He was eager. Willing. Professional. Knowledgeable. Very helpful and explained everything to me for my personal understanding as my concerns/questions regarding my problem I was having with trying to get your software application to run properly as it should and Carlos was alert. Fast to fix any problem that pertained to my purchased subscription. Timely and to my satisfaction and knew Total Defense (TD) products/ policies very well. I found very experienced and very professional. He was congenial. Easy to talk with and answered and resolved all of my issue and concerns providing expert assistance while providing TD customer (me) in layman terms for my own understanding while fixing any problem.

I have free protection for my mobile phone and do not need another one so I cancelled the mobile one I do not need it but Mediacom gives me a free Total defense app so I do not need another and the credit card you have on file should be removed and do not put the app on my phone. It does not need it. Please cancel the mobile device account. Thank You and please confirm that it has been cancelled.

Carl was very nice and helpful. Our card was lost and we needed to update our debit card with you. It went through just fine. Now we need to run a scan but cannot find the icon or app on the laptop. Can you tell me how to find it?

I have switched to Total Defense as Antivirus - from Norton. (see my review on Norton). First of all - Total Defense Support pleasantly surprised me: I have downloaded FREE Trial and sent the request for help on Saturday, and was not sure if I am entitled for support at all. I received the reply immediately, saying that on the first day after weekend I will receive the answer from Support team. First thing on Monday I got comprehensive answer (Carlos **). I asked another question, and I got another comprehensive answer within minutes. Secondly - the very first scan by Total Defense Free trial version - detected virus (the file location and registry entry), which Norton had not detected during 4 months.

Service rep Dan was very professional and helpful in dealing with Total Defense cost of program and renewal program. I have been with Total Defense for several years and appreciate the courtesy shown to me. It is that type of service that helps me to determine if I was continue with Total Defense.

I think that my computer is going to be well taken care of and checking on how it’s working will not be too complicated for me to understand and look at. I have had an account with Total Defense since 2014 and have always been happy with the company, but Carlos topped all of my expectations, especially since I am 11 years older and driven by fear about anything that is computer related. After Total Defense auto-renewed, I realized it wasn't working on my cellphone. Carlos advised me to log out and then log back into my account, and that resolved the issue. When I asked about the $20 discount advertised on the Total Defense website, Carlos applied the discount to my account, effectively addressing my concerns.

The links sent after I described my problem on the phone worked perfectly. An original installation error on my part got me into a free trial rather than an additional device associated with my other Mediacom-supported installations. I'm pleased with how Total Defense works on both Windows and Android devices. It works unobtrusively and has kept all the devices safe, finding several problems over the time I have used it.

I called Total Defense because the TD app on my phone showed that my subscription expired-even though the subscription was recently renewed automatically. I had disabled windows firewall to allow the AV to install. Very satisfied with tech support person but not with his answer!

Jean ** from Customer Service was very helpful and quick to respond to my inquiry regarding the rebate. I made an error when filling out the original form and scanned the wrong UPC label. He told me this wouldn't be a problem and sent me an email to fix this and attach the missing label. He was nice enough to respond back that he received my message. I like dealing with companies that don't ignore customers and that actually respond that they have received your information.

I was having problems activating Total Defense on my mobile phone. I kept getting the message that my subscription had expired, which was not correct. I received the information and guidance I needed to activate service on my mobile phone. Technician was patient and guided me along, step by step. Security for me has been compromised a few times. Since installing Total Defense I feel 100 percent safe. Over the weekend, Sunday specifically (11/24/2024), my Total Defense account wasn't working. I feel very unsafe without it. I called the next morning, and Dan answered the phone. I am not tech-savvy, however, he was so patient and walked me through the steps to take to resolve my issue. As we spoke, I was having difficulty redownloading the app, so I had to get off the phone to attempt a restart.

Receiving Outstanding Customer service these days are rare.

I have had Total Defense for many years and have had no issues, but I have had questions that were answered promptly. I had bought a new computer and they loaded a different vendor software on it as a complimentary package, deleting what I had. I soon found that the reason I was with Total Defense was because it worked, not just against virus but to keep my computer running smoothly. I had called the other vendor with questions, but after a couple of tries with individuals I could not understand, I severed that relationship. Called Total Defense with the call being answered in 3 rings, with someone that took care of me. Never Again will I switch, no matter if it's free and for a few months or years.

The Representative was Excellent. Very Customer Centric in getting my issue solved. Very efficient in getting the result needed. The company is very consistent on its service and support!!!! Needed to call in regarding an alert from credit monitoring bureau concerning a charge entered on a certain credit card. Only known pending charge was from Total Defense and pertained to a renewal amount that was different than expected on the card. Customer rep confirmed the correct charge that was still pending but not yet enacted on the same card. Further investigation with the credit card company resolved the entire issue. My issue was confirming that the quarantine folder and contents would be deleted if I uninstalled Total Defender. Aaron explained that they would but also added that TD would not conflict with Microsoft Defender so I am opting to continue to let TD run weekly scans.
