My phone consultor Gary was such a great guy. Good personality, very pleasant and was will to assist me with my problem. He was an excellent listening and that count in resolving the problem. If ever need assistant again I would ask for Gary and would like him only.

I have been very happy with Total Defense. Every time I call the Customer Support team they are able to resolve my problem quickly and efficiently. Gary was very helpful with reinstalling my Unlimited subscription and taking care of the "Fix Now" problem.

Excellent experience. Gary walked me through the installation process and also directed me through the steps required regard installing onto my tablet and cell phone. He also removed expired software and the entire process without any issues or complicated hiccups. I would strongly recommend and the 5 star a easy selection.

Spoke with Dan **, at Total Defense Tech Dept. He took control of my computer and in a session, researched the problem and in a short time took care of it. My computer is back to its prior settings and the adware is gone. Thanks to Dan.

When Total Defense was taking out my payment for the upcoming year from my debit card, there was some problem with my card. They sent me an email stating so. I called Total Defense and told them there was plenty of money there to take care of this payment. I checked with my bank and they confirmed that. The gentlemen I spoke to at Total Defense was so nice to me explaining that sometimes these things happen and he would try again. The next day he called me to confirm that the payment went through just fine. We spoke about a few things, with him explaining to me a few things that they check that I didn't quite understand. He was so patient with my questions and not once did he make me feel that I was wasting his time by my asking these questions. I was so grateful to him for that. I am so happy to have Total Defense on my side.

Compliments on your top flight customer service. I have a troublesome computer and have called several times in the past for assistance. This time I needed to renew and upgrade my subscription. I dealt with Gary **. He did a great job - handled the cleanup, download and installation and, most important to me, provided clear complete instructions so that I can repeat the process with my other computers. I've been with TD for 3 years. I'll be staying for the next 3 and beyond.

Software was removed from my computer. Upon receiving the fall email, I realized Total Defense was gone. It was reinstalled remotely with very little hassle. Great job by your customer department. Will definitely recommend you to friends and family. I am feeling reassured that my computer is safeguarded.

Norton 16 had a pop up - wanted me to run their software. TOTAL DEFENSE was and has been my only security. I try to delete the pop up and remove pop up - was successful. Later it came back, call my computer support and took remote access of computer and work on it for an hour. It was ok. Next day, the pop up came back. This time message, how to reinstall software. This time I decided to call Total Defense. They had three remote access to my computer - total of one hour and 30 minutes. On third remote access after running many test, the pop up was gone and remote access was successful and I was back on my computer. As senior/Vietnam/vet, my only enjoyment is my computer, love Classmates, Skype, Facebook and Messenger, Google search for research on mil history and medical research for senior citizen. Excellent customer support by Lori. My hard drive on my Main server computer crashed on 10/24/17 and I had to start reinstalling programs again from scratch. I finally remembered I had lost my Total Defense PC Tuneup and Lori got on a remote session with me and had it installed in no time.

I am verrrry pleased with the service and resolution of my distressed call! Lori is the best!! She was verrrry patience and kind while assisting me... We laughed when I told her I'm not as quick & that I will be 70 in the next couple of months. I told her I really appreciate her patience, she had to repeat the same thing maybe 3 times to me lol... She remained kind and patient... Of course the end results Lori took care of all my call concerns. I couldn't activate my product due to leftover fragments of prior subscription so the CA customer service representative was able to remotely install it for me. Now I can resume my life knowing I will be protected from various internet threats.

I called customer service number to reinstall Total Defense. After a few minutes with customer care my computer screen turned black, we thought it was a problem with the whole computer after rebooting the computer it did come back on. The first time I called I spoke to a gentleman named Aaron who was very helpful. After the computer came back on I called the second time & spoke to a woman named Lori. Both people were very helpful & courteous. Thanks again. I would recommend Total Defense to anyone.

I bought my computer today with the Total Defense virus protection. I thought I could download this program by myself, but I was having problems. I called your support number and Lori ** was my customer support person. She was awesome and stayed on the phone with me to walk me through the process. Then I allowed her to access my computer and she installed the program for me. She is an asset to your company. Thank you very much.

She helped answer my questions and offered to either email the info to me or remotely help and I chose for her to remotely help, and she even called me back to let me know the installation was complete.

Laurie was excellent! I was not able to download Total Defense after trying for two weeks; then I called for tech support. After trying to install it with her assistance, I still had trouble. Laurie graciously stated she could continue to walk me through the process or install it remotely; I asked her to install the program remotely. She explained what she would do and told me she would call back when the program was installed. I observed her from my home as she worked diligently to install the program on my computer. I would not have been able to uninstall programs (virus protectors) that needed to be removed prior to attempting to install Total Defense. I am extremely grateful for her help; indeed for her installing the program for me. I feel protected and that my patronage to your company is valuable because she took the time to take care of my concerns and give me ease in enjoying the protection you all are providing for your customers. Increasingly urgent renewal reminders kept appearing on screen for approximately a month before the renewal date despite having automatic renewal of my subscription. The Total Defense helpline resolved this annoying issue in a simple and precise way. Great service!

I received Total Defense with my new computer for a free one year complete computer protection. I was very confused on how to install and set up my Total Defense Package for my new home computer. I called in to customer service and was overwhelmed at how caring, polite and patient the customer service representative was. After all set up and installing, the customer service rep called me back twice to make sure I was pleased with everything. I highly recommend to all my family, friends and even to my church offices.

A full scan report detected a Trojan virus but, Total Defense did not remove it nor did it allow me to remove it. Contact specialist Laurie **, Laurie zoned in one the details that showed the actual location of the virus. Thru Total Defense Team Viewer, Laurie methodically located the TROJAN VIRUS and, deleted it. I am very impressed with her technical expertise and business attitude in resolving this issue. Total Defense is an excellent software package. I have received several bogus threats regarding the security of my computer stating that if I turn my computer off the hard drive will be erased completely and Total Defense has always come through with maintaining the integrity of my computer security. I inadvertently opened an email attachment that I should not have but, thankfully, it was blocked by TD. I phoned Dan at TD (who was extremely pleasant and helpful) to make sure that all was well and he was able to confirm, by accessing my computer, that the blocking action noted in the report meant that the offending attachment had been prevented from accessing my computer. I had already deleted it but he advised me to empty my recycle bin as well. I noticed, on the report, that a malware was blocked yesterday and Dan confirmed that it was also removed. These are the first unfriendly files I've detected on my computer in a very long time so I was beginning to wonder if the virus scan was even working but I will now enjoy the rest of my day knowing that it actually is.

Before I had Total Defense I had McAfee which slowed down my laptop significantly and well I decided to buy a new laptop along with new antivirus software and got Total Defense. And the first amazing thing was how easy it was to install Total Defense and I've had Total Defense for months now and it has not slowed down my laptop, not even during the scans or automatic updates. And well one of my favorite features so far is the protection it offers while browsing the web on any web browser.
Before I had Total Defense I would get redirected to malicious sites which would cause my browser to freeze and I would have to restart my computer and I would end up wasting a ton of time which affected my overall academic efficiency and well not having to worry about malicious sites or pop-ups is like a breath of fresh air. So overall I would highly recommend Total Defense to anyone looking for antivirus software that does not hinder your computer's performance and offers awesome security features.

My experience with the Total Defense Antivirus Software has been exceptional on both my kids' windows laptops. My local PC Richards retailer where I bought my laptops highly recommended Total Defense for antivirus protection. I decided to purchase it as it came with a rebate and I could not be more pleased with the performance. It does not appear to slow down the laptops speed as other big box antivirus names has in the past. The best feature is the parental controls in my opinion. I can set restrictions on my children's laptops and allow certain websites domains like Minecraft for my son. I get automatic email alerts if they try to access social media sites or other non appropriate content based on the age settings or content selection checkbox options. Summary reports also get emailed to me weekly and the automatic antivirus updates are transparent. I would highly recommend Total Defense to my friends and family!!

I have purchased many software programs to repair my computer in the past, but this application is awesome. I run it every time those guys in Seattle decide to push out security updates. TDS is an awesome software tool that keeps my older computer operating at peak performance. I couldn't believe the performance difference! You could actually see it!

Every time that I have contacted customer service I have found them to be courteous, friendly and best of all, easy to understand. I have yet to hang up with my problem unresolved. The software is very user friendly. After setting up the scan, maintenance and update schedules the program can be hands free with Total Defense protecting my computer in the background. I have used Total Defense for 3 years and I’m totally satisfied with it.

Lori was able to complete my renewal transaction as I was unable to do so on my iPad. She was very professional and timely in her responses. She reviewed my contract and was able to complete what I had not been able to do at home. She then went over the data again to make sure all was correct. She then emailed me about the transaction.

I have several occasions where Total Defense has advised against opening an email or a web page - which I chose not to open - and then later hear that some of my friends received malware because their computer software did not protect them. I keep recommending Total Defense. I'm a believer.

Upgrade to new product/AV issue - I have had to contact Total Defense support with issues several times over the years including a virus. I researched online, checked the different companies out, liked what I read from Total Defense and have been with them ever since. I’ve been with them since 2013 when I bought my desktop. I liked that I could purchase their product online and they didn’t have any extras which they tried to get money out of me for. It was their product and only their product. I have the unlimited internet security and it’s for $79.99 a year, which is an excellent price. It’s protected my computer and it lets me know when there’s something wrong. I’ve only had to call their team twice. The first time was when my subscription wouldn’t renew online. The other time was a week ago. I had an alert come up which said that my computer wasn’t secured, that the product needed updating, but it wouldn’t let me do it. Their tech fixed the problem within seconds, though.
If you don’t have anything on your computer, get Total Defense because it’s an excellent service and they always get back to you right away if you send them a message. When purchasing, just follow the directions and make sure to write down your key once you’ve subscribed and punch that key in and it does everything else for you. Overall, their people are very polite and they go out of their way to help. I’d recommend them to anybody.

The product is quality. I used to be a Firedog technician at Circuit City, and have experience with nearly all AV software there is. As such, I have had at least one, albeit even small, complaint about each software. For a long time I personally settled on Webroot, but finally ran into issues with the firewall and saw a few malware slip through. I have ZERO complaints after years of using Total Defense. I have never had a single thing slip through nor have I had any glitches.
The only recommendation I would give to the developers is make it more gamer friendly as, albeit rarely, I have had the software interrupt a game. The only other possible feature addition I would like to see is a SSD mode for the tune up software to avoid superfluous defragmentations on these drives. However, this is well above and beyond as the software is already fantastic! I love the 3-year subscription option and the large number of licenses for the ultimate edition - which is not very well marketed, but a pleasant surprise - so to cover all of my devices!

I have had 360 for years and when my computer went down with driver issues I was forced to get a new computer. With the new computer came Total Defense as part of the package. With 360 I would have to spend more money for a separate malware program. With Total Defense it came with the package. So I did not have to spend any extra money like an extra 100 dollars for a malware product. I thank Total Defense for putting in the extra mile in their product, and look forward to many years of use.

I enjoy the features the safety program gives, and the thorough scanning it provides. I love how you can use it to guard your child's online experiences. The parental features are more direct in keeping your child's internet experience limited, but also giving them the range they need to do certain school assignments.

I was unable to install TD on my laptop because I had already downloaded it for three computers. I attempted to remove the computer I no longer owned and I received a response that the removal was successful. However, when I attempted to download it again, I received the same "too many computers" response. Your customer service rep was able to remove the inactive machine.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced Security Software then Total Defense has what you are looking for. I have been a customer for about a year now. I would not want to go to any other support system. When I call with a problem I always get a English speaking person whom I can understand, and they are always very patient with me when I don't know the terminology for the computer. It is amazing what a technician can fix over the phone. They have 24 hr. service so if I have a problem at night it WILL be taken care of at that time. I would definitely recommend the support system to a friend and rate this as 5 stars.

We purchased Total Defense virus protection a few years ago when we purchase a new laptop for our daughter. We have used it ever since. It's easy to renew online and they now have an option that will send you a reminder email and you can pay directly from your visa/debit card from your checking account if you like. We have over 3 computers/tablets and devices with Total Defense on each of them. This also lets you see when updates/defragmentation and scanning for viruses have been completed in each device. It's reasonable and comparable pricing to other virus protection which makes it worth it. Plus you can add an unlimited number of electronic devices for the virus protection as most other ones only provide you with it being on one computer.

So happy I have this program on all my devices. I originally got it for general protection on the internet but it is so much more. I know I have been protected from phishing emails and texts and it also provides a great online backup service in case my computer is compromised. I've been using Total Defense for about 9 years never had a problem. It protects from viruses, if there are any threats it quarantines them. I can also protect up to 3 computers with my purchase. You also have privacy settings for those who have kids and are concerned on the pages they go to.

I bought a computer from P.C. Richards and if you bought Total Defense, you get your money back after you installed it. I'm old and stupid when it comes to this kind of stuff so the team at Total Defense helped me out and we got it all done. I got it on all three of my computers, it easy to install and it works fine for me. The renewal is coming in six months and I'll renew it.

Had a problem with my computer the other night when a pop-up appeared explaining about a warning that I had a virus on my computer which scared my wife half to death and we didn't know what to do. We shut it down, and I called Total Defense the next morning. I talked to a very nice and very professional by the name of Lori, who guided me in what to do with my problem. She was very knowledgeable and she was going to e-mail some steps to correct the problem. I'm glad to have someone like Lori to help me out.

I bought this software a few years ago on my son's recommendation after being frustrated by a major computer manufacturer pushing anti virus software that sucks, on my new desktop. I have been completely happy with using TD, it does not allow my system to get the crap that is out there every day. I get constant updates in the background, and reports whenever I want them.
With other family members using this desktop, it does not take much for someone to click up or on something that looks innocent but is really bad. TD protects me from unwanted guests, good peace of mind on my end. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade or to replace the so called "anti virus" software that is forced upon you. Some days I get multiple software updates, which tells me that the folks at TD are not asleep at the wheel.
One final comment, my current and past desktop systems have not had any issues from bad software from this company, where in the past I have had from "updates" that were corrupt from other virus programs on the market. For the price of this suite, it's a small price to pay for the security of knowing my system is fully protected.

I have never been affected by any viruses or malware etc. It is easy to install and then takes care of everything without any further thought or concerns to me. It is also competitively priced. I have it on all my family's P.C.'s and would not consider any other protection.
