The replacement of my lost iPhone was smooth and efficient. The folks at my AT&T store started the process quickly and I received the replacement on schedule and in perfect condition. A bad loss situation had a great ending. Thank you Asurion and AT&T.

I was able to place this insurance claim very quickly and the phone arrived in a timely manner on a Saturday morning. Also, the phone was an upgrade over the phone my son broke. Made me happy I have the service.

Great, but if you had put an headset with the new phone that would have been way better. But hey, I can't complain because service was great and fast. The customer service was good and they replaced my phone again when I was sent a phone that was not good.

iPhone stopped responding to touch and I could not call out or text or access any applications. The phone was not damaged in any way but still would not work. I had terrific help with a person from AT&T that assisted me in the process and without him, I would not probably have had a good experience.

I cracked my phone screen on my Samsung 10 while on vacation. I filed the claim on my phone and the new phone arrived the next day (and was ready for me when I returned home). Set up was 24/7, so I got the new one going and the old one sent out immediately.

I have been trying to replace my Apple Watch 4 since it was lost in November. Asurion has been out of this item for almost 9 months now!! I have been paying for the watch with T-Mobile since then every month for a watch I don’t even have. The only option I was given was to replace it out of pocket on my own and send them the receipt, wait for approval and hopefully get reimbursed for the purchase in 10 business days. Well that would’ve awesome if I were rich and had 400-500$ floating around to spend on another watch. Oh, let me mention I only had the watch not even a month... Didn’t even know how to properly use the thing before losing it on a train on Thanksgiving break.
I had T-Mobile representative 3 way Asurion because they could not believe the answer I received and that they thought there had to be something else Asurion could do to help me. The phone conversation ended with T-Mobile trying everything in their power to help me any way they could since Asurion refused to and T-Mobile credited my account 60$ for 3 months of service and equipment charges paying for a watch I didn’t have (that phone call was obviously a few months ago and we didn’t think I’d still be without a watch another 4 months later). I should call back cause I’ve now been paying a total of 8 months! I don’t even want to do the math on that. Back to the issue at hand, 8 months is beyond ridiculous to be out of an item you guys are charging people money for and claiming it is one of your insured products when clearly you guys don’t carry this item anymore.
When it’s the newest watch out and one of the popular colors as well... one Asurion person I spoke to told me she’s only seen a total of maybe 20 watches while working there. They are a special edition item... Well I wish I knew that when I purchased it cause I wouldn’t have! During this 8 months my mother has passed away and I’ve had to deal with more than any 27 year old should ever have to deal with and I spent every dime I had taking care of my mom's cremation, my younger siblings now being my responsibility, losing my best friend & mother, the stress that comes with that and my regular bills and already ridiculous cell phone bill, and trying to come up with an extra 500$ for a new watch so that I’m not just paying month after month for absolutely nothing. Oh or come up with 300 to cancel the watch line altogether.
300 to end a line I literally used for barely one month, all because Asurion cannot get their inventory together and order some ** watches. 8 months!!!! Is there even a justifiable excuse for this?? And then tell me the only thing that they can do is reimburse me when I buy a new one... Why would I do that if I have insurance??? Insurance so I pay a deductible to get an old outdated watch to replace my month old watch (which is my fault for it getting lost I take responsibility for that) but even if they did magically get them in stock I'm losing no matter what the outcome is in this.
Asurion employees have made it very clear there is nothing they can do to help me and reimbursing me is the best they can do. So I’m stuck with no watch till who knows when, paying every month until that Happens, also stuck in a watchless T-Mobile device line for a year and a half more with an insurance company that cannot even honor what their entire business and company is about! PHONE INSURANCE! To replace lost or stolen devices as fast as possible! I don’t know what I need to do to get this company to actually listen to me and help me but I will take it to whoever I need to till I actually get some assistance and a replacement watch! I said I’d even take a different watch! I just would like to be able to see a watch on my wrist next time I pay my 265.00$ phone bill and not feel like a complete idiot for wasting even more money.

My husband and I have replaced close to a dozen phones with Asurion, mostly damaged and some lost. Each time the process is fast, there are zero questions or skepticism, and the folks are courteous. I've done as many as three phone replacements in a month without any problems. You are even sent a send back envelope when the phone is lost in case you find it. We have actually found 2 of our lost phones and sent them back! When you file a claim and have to send back a phone they don't even care what IMEI you send back, as my husband and I have identical phones, and sometimes we will switch phones while waiting for the replacement, depending who may have the more urgent need for a phone at the time (like one of us waiting on a job call or one of us having to go to work when the other one is at home).
I almost wanted to rate this a 4 because the address portion of an online claim doesn't work for me. Where I live I do not receive postal mail, it ONLY goes through a PO Box, but since Asurion won't allow PO Boxes it fails the address validation every time. So each time I start a claim online I am forced to call and speak to a representative so they can enter my address manually. It's to the point where I just pick up the phone and call because I know I'm going to have to speak with a representative, and they too seem so surprised when it comes time for the address validation portion.
Also, my most recently replaced phone had a very minor defective display out of the box, but for 1 out of 12 or so phones it's really not that big of a deal. When I really think about my entire history with Asurion, I have saved thousands upon thousands of dollars by having the service, and those two criticisms pale in comparison to the money I have saved on replacing phones. I will NEVER own another phone without Asurion protection.

While Asurion's process to deliver the phone quickly was efficient, it was disappointing and inconvenient to receive 2 broken 6s phones. With that said, I am very pleased with the compromise Asurion made by providing me with an 8S to assure me a working phone. The representatives were very helpful.

Great staff. Had issues with card installation so a second adviser help diagnose a rare anomaly. Everything is working perfectly with the new note 9. I think Asurion did a very professional job and plan to use that option again.

My new phone was received very quickly and the exchange was very easy. I would recommend this service to all. My only complaint is that it was very hard to understand the customer service attendants and I had to have them repeat themselves several times.

We've had insurance on our phones for years and never used it. When I went into Verizon to remove it from my account they told me that the insurance would replace my phone screen for $29 if I ever needed it. Well I needed to replace my wife's phone screen, paid the $29 and scheduled an appointment for a tech to come to my house between 11am and 1pm. Around 2pm when I had never heard a word from them, I called and found out no one was coming and in fact the guy didn't even show up for work. No call. No nothing. Just let me wondering all day. Then they said I could drop it off (which is funny because I asked if there was somewhere I could drop it off to and they said, "no".... hmmm?) but when I dropped it off the guy said "I cant replace your phone screen because this device has the paint worn off the fingerprint scanner (from use.... hmmm? again).
He then offered to fix it for the low cost of $69 and then he could do the phone screen, which I did not do because the fingerprint scanner on a Galaxy S9+ is on the back of the phone, if you're unfamiliar the screen is located on the front ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This company is absolute trash, I've already cancelled my insurance and was happy to find out the homeowner's insurance covers my device at no additional cost. Do yourself a favor and find another option, they'll do whatever they have to get your money.

Very helpful, and fast shipping. Didn't have any problem when I received the phone. Overall customer service was great. Had no problem getting my claim filed, and the phone replaced. The forms were easy to fill out. Only had a problem with my shipping address, but was able to call and get it taken care of immediately.

Called and explained my Elipsis screen had cracked and top corner was now chipping out. After a few questions was told my replacement would arrive in a few days. It did. As I am not a technically minded person I took it to the Verizon Store in Burlington for assistance and they helped transfer everything to the new Samsung and also helped to erase everything from the old one and was ready to mail in less than 30 minutes. Took it to the post office in the prepaid packaging, got a tracking receipt and went on with my day. Fantastic service by Assurion and Verizon. Thanks to all.

I spoke with (3) Technicians for setting up this device on 7/25/19. The first two were only waiting 8 or 9 minutes and say, "when the download is complete, we call you back." The last Technician was extremely patient and make sure everything was working before he disconnected the call.

Had a phone in pool accident. Tried drying it out but no luck. Went to the AT&T store in La Grange,TX and the young lady there had me fixed up. They replaced my phone with a refurbished Galaxy S7. I could have gotten new but the deductible would have been. New refurbished phone works great.

The process itself was simple however it appears both of these "replacements" are refurbished (I've had to replace mine and another employees) and sometimes they a various function doesn't work properly. Hard to explain however I don't pay insurance to get a refurbished phone.

Customer service was very helpful. Two weeks ago my phone was stolen. I called to set up a claim, and it went through with no issues since I did not have any of the information that they asked for. The phone only took two days from the call to arrive. When I called to set up my replacement phone it was done in a breeze. I would recommend others to use this service.

Smooth transaction. Was able to get my phone the next day. I called for assistance and they walked me through the install of the SIM chip. Unfortunately I only had one phone available - the phone being replaced, I was able to make the call via my iPad, but once I had the new SIM in place my old phone was no longer operational. I was able to get everything else working without any other assistance.

After I started my claim, I received my replacement phone the next day. When I called in to Protech to set up my new phone, Jaime the Protech Rep assisted me. She was very courtesy, patient, and knowledgeable. She even offered to call me back in 2 hrs to make all my content transferred over from the old to the new and to see if the phone is working.

Great customer service, only recommendation is to have people available in the Seattle area to do screen replacements. It was a bummer to have to pay an extra $100 for a brand new phone because you don’t have any people local to me for a screen fix.

It would be so much more convenient to be able to exchange the devices at the ATT company store rather than mailing or shipping devices. Dissatisfied because of this issue. It is inconvenient to mail devices back and forth. Your company has accused me of not returning devices before because of a mistakes made by your company after a device has been returned to you.

The replacement phone I got from Asurion 4 months ago stopped working, and it was under warranty, so I requested a replacement phone. They sent me a 32 bit GB phone to replace my 64 GB phone. When I called to speak to an agent about she, she informed me, as did the supervisor I asked to speak to, that the phone I had was not available in 64 bit, ever. Then I went to Motorola's Website to look up the phone in question and little to my surprise, there are two versions, 32GB and 64GB, which I knew because I had been using the phone for almost 2 years. And then I called back and spoke to someone who told me that every phone I was shipped was 32 GB, which was not correct. Then I called again and spoke to someone that said that they can't tell what the memory was on a phone that they sent me. I spoke to 4 people and got 4 different answers.
The last person said he couldn't send me a 64 GB replacement version of my phone even if I could verify that is what I had because they don't have it anymore. He he was kind enough to send a different 64 bit model, but I'm still out a couple of hundred of dollars in accessories. At least I will have a phone comparable to the one I'm returning, but that wouldn't be the case if I wasn't all over it and not willing to accept their bogus answers. And because of the good employee I was able to reach on try number 4.
The other problem is that when they send you a replacement phone, they are sending you someone else's refurbished headache. These phones never last more than a few months without the old problems bubbling to the surface, which is exactly what happened to my replacement phone. You cannot rely on this company to tell the truth or act in good faith. After a number of years of paying the monthly charge, we're going to cancel it for all of our phones. No need to pay this amount to a company that is willing lie to people to their face and give them the runaround. Do yourself a favor and save the monthly charge and buy a new phone when you break or lose the old one. That's what I wish I would have done.

I received two replacement phones from Asurion in 3 days (overnighted) and both have serious issues. The first didn’t charge so they overnighted another. That phone sporadically doesn’t respond and will open screens and type letters I am not touching. I have had it for a whopping two days. The first I only had for one day. Asurion clearly has no quality control if they are sending out malfunctioning phones. After researching on the Internet, I read many other accounts of people receiving malfunctioning replacement phones.
I called AT&T today to speak to someone about their insurance company and spoke to someone who is actually involved with handling issues alongside corporate and he reassured me that my voice would be heard and he was sending a detailed complaint to corporate. They need to know how poorly Asurion is doing serving their customers. The insurance is a joke and I will be canceling after I receive my new phone directly from AT&T, not Asurion. I am grateful AT&T opted to help me out so that I would not have to deal with yet a third malfunctioning Asurion replacement. Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.

I filed a claim to get my cracked phone screen repaired this morning and scheduled a repair for a window between 5 and 7pm. At 7:07 I called Asurion to see where the technician was, as the online tracker said he had arrived. The representative I spoke with was very professional and helpful, but could only reschedule my appointment. The tech that was supposed to come had sent a picture of the house and claimed he called, but no one was home. However, the picture he sent was not of our house, and he certainly did not call as I was using my phone all day and no notifications came in. We were home and outside the house all evening, and no cars arrived at all. I am now going to have to miss work on Monday to get my phone fixed, but did not receive an apology or any sort of compensation for the time I will have to spend away from my job.

I have had my phones insured by Asurion for years. I finally make a claim becuase my screen gets broken. 2 options are given. Pay $29.00 and lose my phone for a week. Can do that because I am a realtor. Or pay $199.99 to have one sent the next day. I can take it in to a repair shop for $99.00. Scammers, I am going to find a new insurance to cover my phones. I would not recommend an insurance that requires one to pay more than 20% of the phone's value after years of paying these guys. Get a new phone insurance company.

I had a really rough time in the beginning with the insurance process. I got the run around. Nobody wanted to get me to the right person to talk to, They replaced my phone but the phone they replaced was defective and I was having so many issues with it. Finally I got the right customer service agent and she was awesome. She explained a to b what I needed to do and followed up. Then when they shipped it out and told me I had to pay for the replacement I called again and was reassured that was not the case. I only pay once per 12 month period for insurance. Again, that customer agent was very helpful as well, This entire situation was a big mess so I'm glad the right people were on my side.

We ordered a replacement phone on Sunday, July 21st through the online website. As promised, the phone arrived in 2 business days on Tuesday, July 23rd. When we attempted to activate the phone, the phone would not power on. We then had to send the phone back, and we are still waiting for a replacement. We called yesterday, and we were told the phone is on backorder. I feel that someone should check the phones before they are sent out to make sure they work. Also, I think someone should have notified us that the phone was on backorder.

I was actually stalling to go through the process because I expected something long and tedious, but I actually did it all on my cell phone, got an email, the phone appeared in two days on the doorstep, and customer service helped. I put it back together again (Humpty DUmpty). You all did not help in teaching my son a lesson about losing his phone, now he thinks, "that wasn't so bad". I recently had to file a claim for my lost device. I simply walked in to the ATT store, and I was allowed to fill out my claim form right there in the store, a process that took less than ten minutes, and completely hassle free. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen over the weekend. Thankfully Asurion was able to help me because I had the insurance plan. Only ran into one issue where I needed a verification code to complete my claim however the code was being sent to a device I did not have, I was able to speak to a representative of Asurion and they were able to help me with that problem. Extremely bad service. They give you the runaround to not accept liability. A new LG Dryer that needs constant maintenance service according to them (Asurion) if you get the d80 and d90 messages from the dryer. Asurion disregarded the recommendation from a Service Company (TriState Repair) that stated the dryer is UNREPAIRABLE. They have the proof of this in an email. However, for Asurion is better to insist the error messages d80 & d90 and the continue stopping of the dryer is due to a home clogged vent, which means a maintenance service only. Therefore they don't have to replace the dryer or refund me.

I have had a terrible time dealing with this crooked company!!! My Grandma bought a Haier AC from Walmart for $112 and bought the extended warranty for an extra $14. The AC failed halfway thru the warranty. I took it back to Walmart who refused to take it back, saying that it was on the warranty company now (Asurion). I thought the extended warranty was thru Walmart, turns out Walmart just sells the scam but when you need to redeem the warranty they don't want involved. Shame on Walmart for selling a service they don't stand behind from a company that won't either.
I called Asurion warranty from the Walmart the same day I tried to return it. They verified my receipt info, told me to throw it out that they would have a Walmart gift card for $112 in my hand within 10 days and I could throw away the old ac. Luckily I put it in my scrap heap until I was going to the scrap yard next. After about 3 weeks and no card I called back a second time. Now they wanted a receipt for the disposal of the AC. I asked them "how would I have a receipt for something I threw in a dumpster? The lady I first spoke to never mentioned getting a disposal receipt, she simply told me to throw it out." So they tried getting out of paying once. So when I took my load to the scrap yard I made sure to get a receipt for the AC. The scrap yard thought it was strange I wanted a receipt for something that I didn't get or pay any money for. They normally don't give receipts for individual items, just the total scrap weight and money paid.
Anyway, I sent Asurion the receipt. 3 more weeks passed and no gift card. So I called back a 3rd time, they said they could not accept a handwritten receipt even if it's on company letterhead, once again trying to dodge payment. So I made a special trip (30 min round trip) to the scrap yard, asked for a printed receipt. They told me they don't even have a printer at that scrap yard, they still do everything by hand. I had to have the nice lady do it at home and email it to me. So I sent that receipt in and waited another month, still no card. Called back a 4th time, they said the receipt was partially cut off, and I'd have to resubmit it. Not sure if that was an excuse or a legit computer glitch, so I did.
Finally after almost 3 months, 4 or 5 long phone calls, a special trip to the scrap yard for a printed receipt, a special trip to Walmart transporting a broken AC all over town, they finally say that they received an acceptable version of my receipt for throwing out a broken AC. Whether or not we actually get a refund is still up in the air. Point is this company was hard to work with, Walmart sells these warranties and won't stand behind them, this company will try everything to dodge payment, and even told me to throw it away without telling me to get a receipt. Had I done that, we could of never got a refund. It is ridiculous they would want a receipt for trash anyway. They just hope you threw the item out quickly before starting the claim process. Save the headache and don't ever buy a warranty through these people, it's absolutely worthless!

Asurion is a scam for individual mobile phone users for three reasons. 1- The business scheme. Customer pays monthly fees for the lifetime of the contract and a deductible when anything actually happens to merit the insurance; pretty standard. However, the replacement device after a phone dies is not new, but a certified pre-owned. In 2019, I was sent an S7 (2016 release) replacement. I could have bought a brand new S7 for the price of the deductible.
2- "Certified" malfunctioning. My certified phone came with a malfunctioning mic. After I made the second claim, before another certified phone came in, I dropped it and the back cracked- yes, responsibility on me for that. But because of the physical damage, Asurion was going to charge a second deductible for their malfunctioning device. I canceled immediately.
3- Customer handling. To contact Asurion, all channels direct customer to the website. I got on the website and because of the nature of this claim, was directed to call. I actually prefer calling and talking with real people, but the constant mixed messaging was annoying and since the mic was the issue, I had to text someone to meet me so I could make the phone call. The people on the phone might as well have been robots for how helpful they were to actually do anything about the situation. The phone was malfunctioning on arrival and paying a second deductible when I should have been given a refund for paying anything towards a defective device is unacceptable.
In the end, I went to Best Buy and bought a brand new phone for less than I've paid Asurion over the years. It's better to just go with a new phone and the warranty it offers than this company.

Relatively easy process quick turnaround. So far replacement phone working really well. Cost was better than paying for Apple care. iPhone X XS definitely not waterproof as Apple claims. Not sure I received an email verifying that they received my old phone.

Swift service on replacing a device that was stolen. The online service is very user friendly. However, that deductible is really expensive for what you pay for the Insurance. I don't think the deductible should be any more than $100. It's like being punished for someone stealing your phone.

Everything went really easy. The techs were very efficient and my phone was up and running in pretty much no time at all. Nice to have a new phone even though it's refurbished it's like brand new. Even though it's the same phone as before I'm still going to buy a new case. I don't think the case was the problem but the case got damaged when the phone expanded.

Best service and I recommend my friends and family to go to AT&T. Now net work everywhere and I am living Georgia. Smallest town is Ludowici. Whole town has a one traffic signal only and I been live in here last 15 years and before I was in AT&T to but that time not good network. My phone not work but now much better.

The customer service was fine, but not the most expedient. The two people I talked to seemed to want to stick to a script instead of listen to my actual concerns and help. Also, the device I received doesn't work 100% of the time. I'm fairly sure that it's a refurbished device and more than on it has frozen on me and I've been stuck places without communication or navigation.

Received my replacement device the next day, set it up and returned my old phone. The deductible is $250, but the service was fast, and only costs a little over $400/year to cover my wife's and my cellphones (plus the $250 deductible, per replacement). $650/year is marginally less than paying the full replacement cost of a phone, so, as long as you replace a phone every year, this service is worth the cost.

Our son who is on our AT&T plan dropped his Galaxy S8 and cracked the screen. The lower 4/5th of the screen was flashing green. We have the insurance for the phone through Asurion and they were right on it. The replacement phone looks brand new, instead of refurbished.

My case was very difficult to resolve as I am an active physician who is on the road quite often and maintaining cell phone contact is very important to my work. Since I had multiple "remanufactured" cell phones that had to be returned, my case was referred to Melissa in the CEO Office. Her thoughtful, gracious and courteous efforts resolved the issue as I was given a new phone and have not had a problem since. I do intend to recommend Asurion to family members, colleagues and friends and have all four of my devices insured by Asurion.

As a Verizon customer that has used Asurion for years, I have been “had” and my hands are tied with no resolutions but yet lots of money in Verizon and Asurion pocket. Two big companies that can not resolve a small issue because their customer service/sales people could not represent a product correctly. I am a well paying long time customer that I thought was being sold a product that Customer service on both sides now say “sorry, they don’t give us authority to do anything”. I have multiple lines with Verizon with four smartphones with high usage. We upgrade our phones often and are long time customers with a fairly high monthly bill. Throughout the years have believed in and used frequently our Asurion insurance. With that being said we were told recently one of our lines is not covered for coverage. So apparently only 3 out of the 4 lines were covered due to the product we were sold a couple of years ago.
Again, we have been with Verizon and Asurion for many years before this “new” product offered by Verizon for Asurion insurance. When Total coverage took place I was not told or offered coverage for all the phones, though that’s what I always have had and thought I was still getting. Like why would an extra $10 a month matter to cover the 4th line which at the time is what I should have been offered to have insurance coverage. If I had coverage on all lines, why would I choose a line that was no different than the others? All lines are high end smartphones with high daily usage. Makes no sense that they would sell me a product that disincluded one line that seemed no different. With the new product (as I’m told now) that is was only for 3 lines. Again it’s not like we couldn’t afford to cover all four and if they looked at our history that wouldn’t make sense to sell such a product.
So now I’m stuck with an expensive broken smartphone that can not be fixed by a 3rd party because of the breakage being on the back. I feel that the training to the Verizon employees are generally good but have noticed from time to time that you can get different information if you make calls back over the same issue. I spent just under 3 hours between Verizon and Asurion today because they both kept telling me to call the other for clarity hence still getting me nowhere.
I know they felt badly as I think they truly felt I was not sold and told about what I really had from the get go, which in the long run my years of money meant nothing and it my fault for trusting that customer service was meeting my needs. Truly painful for line employees who are “just doing their job” and me as a customer that keeps paying my bills on time and buying multiple products to keep these big companies in business. Thanks Verizon and Asurion for making me feel unimportant and stupid.

I purchased a Bad Boy 54" cut riding lawnmower, along with a 4 yr. Asurion Service Plan in Lufkin, Tx from Tractor Supply. Defective plastic fans attached to the drive pulleys, shreds drive belt. They employ a repair shop in Lufkin, Tx that is totally inadequate to make timely repairs. My plan cost was $499.00. The shop took 2 full months to make the repairs. I had to pay someone to mow my grass for 8 weeks at $60.00/mowing. On top of that, I was charged for parts and labor for the defect that shreds the belt. It's like not having a repair policy at all. They only covered the pick up and delivery. Terrible policy, support and no remedies. Cheaper to not having a policy and use the policy cost for repairs on your own.

1st conversation - “Replacement phone will be sent out today”. 2nd conversation and everything to follow is 5 days later. No phone received, front line rep has no record of it.... Transferred to the supervisor, Amanda. Can’t answer the question why I was told a replacement was on the way and has no record... She points the finger at AT&T ready for this. Says Asurion is just third party, that we need to call AT&T to review Insurance coverage. Prequel - AT&T insisted they couldn’t help us and actually transferred us to Asurion.
Amanda now calls AT&T on 3 way call. After 10 minutes, we get AT&T rep on phone and Amanda hung up.... And it goes on. AT&T provides inaccurate dates from our previous conversation and says we need to talk with Asurion to get further coverage details.. We insist in a 3 way call again. We are dealing with an AT&T manager at this point who places us on hold, calls Asurion and when he brought us into the call; Asurion disconnects again. Really? Sad, I’m out a lot of money and do not have the pockets to defend it.

We had an issue with a screen repair that was completed about 6 months ago by Asurion. The repair was warrantied for 12-months so when the screen began giving us issues they sent out a replacement phone which we received the next day. Smooth and easy... could not have been handled any better.

Asurion's service itself was very good as always--rapid response, easy return of phone. My problem is with the replacement phone--the Samsung Galaxy 5--nowhere as user-friendly as my previous Motorola. When setting up a message using the mike icon, it does not recognize the words, creating a mish mash that has to be redone by hand, and the keys are so tiny that inputting is extremely difficult for someone with wide fingers/longer fingernails. It triples the input time for any message.
It also set me up with Google Message which obliterated input from other servers--including my 20-year primary source (Google email also takes it upon itself to "sort" email received into categories such as primary, social, promotions, and all mail, useless and often in error). For some reason, the phone also saves system photos such as the purple twirling intro graphic! My Asurion service person explained that you had no Motorolas available any longer; as one of the first Verizon customers in the Milwaukee area and a long-time Asurion customer (and always satisfied before), I find this experience very disappointing.

I called the number given to me by AT&T, and was directed to the online site. It was quick and easy, and I received my new phone in less than two days. I opted not to use the help resource to set it up. The tape given to reseal the box did not stick well. I believe if I relied on that strip it would have opened and lost the contents. Overall a great experience considering the circumstances.

Beware when buying Asurion protection, they contract with horrible service providers - UBreakIFix and when the work is done so poorly that you cannot use the phone, Asurion basically says too bad the work was completed, no credit back even though you had to BUY A NEW PHONE. Unbelievable.

Entire experience was awful. We are forced to use this company for insurance, and I have considered changing carriers just to get away from Asurion. My phone broke while on vacation and I was told that they would not be willing to ship my new phone to a different address than my home address, not that it would have mattered because it took a week to get my phone. Since I was traveling with two children it was suggested that I go and buy a prepaid phone to use until I got home. I’m forced to pay this company monthly to have the insurance, I have a huge deductible, and they still want me to fork over money because they can’t hold up their end. I had to check every day on the status and was never sent a tracking number despite being told I would.
When my device finally arrives, it isn’t the right color. If I wanted a black phone that’s what I would have bought to begin with. When you’re accepting someone’s money every month to insure a certain phone, that’s what it should be replaced with when a claim is filed. I was told that I could go buy a new phone and send them the receipt for reimbursement. Awesome, their answer is again to fork over money. I can’t even imagine how long the reimbursement would have taken. It’s also difficult to contact them in any other way but over the phone. If your phone is broken, how exactly are you supposed to call? Overall a truly awful experience with next to no assistance offered. I would recommend new customers use a different carrier just to avoid this company.
