Fast and easy online claim processing. No need to call in about the claim as you receive updates continuously to let you know the status of your claim and what steps to take next, etc. Glad I had this insurance on my phone to make it painless to process and receive a replacement device.

Very pleased the operator handled my claim professionally and quickly. I'm very pleased with the claim. I had a cracked screen and technician that came to house cracked back of phone taking it off. He told me beforehand this could happen with my type of phone. So I had to call for a replacement. They handled claim efficiently and I just now got all thing transferred over to new phone. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

The first replacement phone (iPhone 6+) was defective and Asurion promptly replaced it and every worked very hard to keep us up and running. This was my wife’s phone and I am very pleased with the way your company handled the replacement.

My experience with the setup portion was good. The tech person was patient as I didn't have the WiFi password handy. Walked me through the process and as the system was downloading said they would setup and call back via text message to finish the process. I never got a call or text back. I ended up finishing the process on my own using the directions on the screen and in the box. Hopefully you will get my old unit shortly.

Everything went very quickly! Phone got here in record time. Directions sucked though, I would have been lost if I wasn’t phone smart. And a tad bummed I didn’t realize it’s a refurbished phone which says “refurbished by Asurion”. I really really wish that wasn’t there because now I feel I paid 2k for a phone that’s not fully an Apple. It sucks for resale or I’m worried if something else won’t be cover by Verizon.

I damaged my phone very badly. I ran over it accidentally with my car! I am glad That Asurion was there for me. I received my iPhone replacement very quickly. My daughter’s phone became very hot and stopped working while she was at school. She turned the device off and then it just wouldn’t turn back on. I made the claim using the AT&T app and it was fairly simple. The new phone was shipped quickly. I still think the deductible was high considering my daughter has had the phone since September of 2018, but overall we are pleased. Thanks for your help.

It was a great experience, very fast and beyond my expectations. The person that came to fix my phone arrived about 30 minutes earlier than expected which was absolutely convenient. There were no problems working with Asurion. I did have difficulty identifying the correct company that covered the problem with my cell phone. Somehow I was referred to a company other than Asurion. This caused further confusion as that company informed me I would receive a response shortly. I never received a response. Further investigation by myself brought me to Asurion and the problem was resolved.

Everything went well, the new phone came right away. The only problem was I could not get the same phone replaced as my old phone was discontinued, so it was a little inconvenient setting up a new model phone. I have to say everything else I needed was there for me.

I went to a Verizon store with an insured phone. I was told I could get a replacement according to the terms of my policy. The agent assisted me to file my claim. I gave him a transposed number in my shop to address. 16452 instead of 16542. I have spent 8 hours trying to fix this. No matter what I can't get through to anyone who can help me. This company is great unless you make one small mistake. UPS can't change it because of their policies but I can't get anyone to help me from them, Asurion, change it.

I wish there was a way to provide a half a star or negative star as this company is a scam! I've been paying for insurance on my phones for SEVERAL years since I have 5 phones and 3 belong to kids. With that said, I made a claim and they quickly denied it for a lost phone. When I called to find out why and to re-instate, took me over 40 minutes and had to talk to a manager that finally approved the claim and took my deductible of $250. They stated that they would send out the phone within 24 hours. As they sent the replacement phone out, an adjuster contacted UPS and stated to bring the shipment back and my tracking information stated that the sender requested the shipment back.
After calling again and asking for details they stated that "due to insignificant use of the program an adjusted denied the claim." They would not provide any additional information and makes no sense as they had no problem taking $50+ a month from me all these years but yet won't proceed with a claim for a lost phone when their policy clearly states that they replace phones. They stated that a "letter will be sent out with more details" which again all make no sense as this was approved twice and then they revert it. PATHETIC SERVICE! TRUE SCAM! Calling my carrier and demanding a refund for all the years I had the service. I'm sure that will equal more than the phone itself!

Every thing was real smooth and fast! A bit expensive but efficient. I will say however there is a bit of a grey area about when to file that could be explained better. For example if I’m paying insurance I feel like it shouldn’t matter when the damage happened it should just be honored.

Once before, I had to get a replacement phone while I was on vacation. It was a nightmare because I had to find somewhere to print out forms and then get the hotel to fax them back. It was so annoying that I couldn’t just submit everything online. My replacement phone came the next day which was awesome! Super quick service! The only complaint I have was that I was sent two new SIM cards with NO instruction on what to do with them. I have made several claims over the years with Asurion, and they have ALWAYS come through for me! My claim last week was when my fairly new Samsung 10+ had a flashlight fall smack in the middle of the screen... All the way down to the LED. I went to a few repair places and was told $300-360 to repair. I called Asurion, and the wonderful girl I spoke to (I believe Desiree) was just awesome! She filed my claim and said it was going to cost me $149 for a new replacement! I got my phone sent the very next day! When I called to activate the phone, I was having some trouble. The wonderful girl who helped called 4x to see how my progress was going with downloading! EXCELLENT PEOPLE, EXCELLENT SERVICE! VERY HAPPY GIRL HERE!!

There has to be a better way for shipping. My package was sent under my husband's name after submitting a claim under my name. My iPhone 11 Pro max replacement was delivered within 4 days but was returned by my work since it was under my husband's. I had the replacement replaced after I requested a transfer of billing responsibility in order to get the package under my name. Since I have returned to my unit that got flooded early Jan 2020, I had the package submitted to my home address. I was worried no one will be home to sign for the package so I added instructions to have it delivered in our rental office. I got the replacement for my expensive phone but I found at the front door. Good thing I got home right away from the event I attended. Someone could have just grabbed the $1200+ iPhone!

Was assisted in the connection by AT&T operator and Asurion treated me with respect. All throughout the process the operator review and made sure I understood the warranty policy with Asurion and continue with at&t. It is important to be able to have a representative to listen and be able to assist in a professional level. I also received my phone a little faster than I was informed.

I had to go to AT&T Store to found out how to contact you. The agent told me where to go but was not very helpful. I got my replacement phone the next day. Setting it up was very hard as I do not have access to the internet. I had to wait till the next day and go on the website which I found to be troublesome. I would rather talk to someone, therefore it took 3 times longer than it should have.

When requesting a new or refurbished phone, representative didn’t hesitate. The reason we got a refurbished phone was because AT&T told us the it was nothing they could do to resolve the problem, that we needed to upgrade that. Didn’t have the money for a new phone so decided to get a refurbished phone.

Within weeks of getting a "refurbished" phone from Asurion, my screen got a green line down the middle of the display (a widely known hardware issue). Customer service said because I have EVER dropped my phone, it is not covered by their warranty. I specified to ask if the phone has fallen a foot off my bed onto the floor, is that a dropped phone? They said yes. Kiss your $250 goodbye when you expect Asurion to cover their products. They will not. Consider that their 1 year warranty is NOT a warranty, and they are going to happily take your money when your phone does not work. Terrible, terrible service.

Very disappointed. I tried to do the claim at night and my device wasn't on the account. I had to wait until next day to do the claim and send paperwork (they requested) and they told me I have to wait 24 hrs for them to review documents. So why they advertise the Service as overnight Service??

Verizon. Although I was happy with the end result there were a few snags along the way. We initially paid the $29 to have the screen replaced. The technician showed up on time and was very friendly and professional but inexperienced. My understanding was that he had just started a few weeks prior. But I am not faulting him for that, everyone is new at some point. He broke the the back of the phone while trying to get the front off. After that everything worked out pretty smoothly. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and professional and I ended with a new phone the next day. The only grievance I would have is, with the amount I pay every month for having your insurance, I think the deductibles are way too high.

My screen broke and was replaced. But later on the picture would shake and freeze up. After I called the tech had me try 2 reset but that didn’t work. So when I called again and let them know they. Sent me a new phone the next day and helped me install my old data. Thanks.

I was surprised at how easy the process was. I was hesitant to get insurance. Now I’m glad I did. The claim was handle quickly and my replacement arrived the next day. The follow up emails on what was next and to make sure I had a current backup helped. Same with making sure I deleted my data on my old phone before I sent it back. They have at least one scam artist working for them who told my husband, when he called their tech support for a simple advice, that he needed to conference another company. Proceeded to get an outfit called Grimsoft on the line who claimed his password been stolen, proceeded to uninstall his virus program and tried to steal info off his computer. Joke was on them since it was a brand new one with nothing on it and a cell that isn't connected to the internet. But talk about criminals!

The rate of shipping devices was great. Not able to resolve the issue with two replacement phones, and then receiving call-backs in a different language after waiting 30-45 minutes each time is what knocks the review two stars. Advanced tech support resolution was to erase all data and reset phone to factory mode. Final resolution is to take the other replacement phone to Apple for repairs.

Could tell phone was reconditioned and was surprised new one was not sent considering no previous claim in 2 years. I'm sure it states somewhere that you could receive a used phone, but why would you want coverages on multiple phones if you know you will receive a used phone. My phone's audio receiver stopped working. No one could hear me when I called them or they called me. I went to Apple and they said they could replace it with a refurbished phone for over $350, however, because I had insurance through ATT with Asurion, I was able to get a really nice (like new) refurbished iPhone 7+ replacement for just over $100. Since my phone was already paid off and 4 years old, I really appreciate not having to come out of pocket more than I have to for a "better" or newer model. The phone came the next day after placing the claim and came with everything needed to send the old one back. Out of the whole process between Apple, ATT, and Asurion, Asurion's was the least painful. Thanks Asurion for being awesome.

If you are buying into the Asurion insurance plan you better think twice. I have it for my family, we get two incidents per year and to my knowledge we have not used it for more than screen replacements and at that maybe only 1-2x since 2003. It costs me $45 a month. (I know - I am the dumb one shelling out all that - it is dumb. But it is convenient when it happens, right?) No, it is not.
I called to have a screen replaced on a phone that I had less than a week, never broke my screen before and was on my way for protection when it broke. Dumb luck. The paperwork says $29... but in fine print it says if available in my area. I live in Pittsburgh PA, not a small town - they say no one in my area can do the work so they have to ship me a refurbished phone for $199! It would cost me $260 for me to get it replaced on my own. What a flipping ripoff, paying $45 a month since 2003.... What? That is insane. Talked with a rep at Asurion, then the next level up. Sorry-nothing they can do. They said that these things happen. NOT acceptable to me.
I kept saying.. "Isn't it a bit convenient that you do not have any equipment "available" in my area?" So, I ask where they use for who they use, it is UBreakiFix, a couple locations near me so I tell them that I am going to call them to see if they have one from Asurion and how often they do get any. Also that I am not done with this, they will hear from the BBB on my behalf because this is just not right.
I was determined and would not stop until I spoke with someone about how this happens. I mean, what a racket they have going on there. They moved me over to someone in the CEO's office (I am not that dumb, I know I was not talking to them) and they miraculously found a screen that was available to me less than 7 miles away. While I am happy with this I am for sure cancelling this absurd insurance. Most uncool thing I have ever been through. Anyone want to get involved with the BBB so we can shut these folks down? I am putting it in, now more than ever.

Scammers, they declined my claim not stating the reason. I have been paying for the phone for more than a year. I read a lot bad feedback about Asurion but I did Sprint did not offer any other protection. I had this protection on my all phones. I canceled my protection for my phone and Sprint home protection, provided by Asurion.

Website did not work two ways - first I could not create the case (had to call and customer rep helped me) and then when I needed to update the shipping address - site did not work second time (tried on all browsers, etc). When I called customer service they told me that it is AT&T problem and I need to contact them. I asked to escalate. After I was passed to the third person the issue was resolved immediately - my last agent was friendly, professional and overall great. But all prior experience was way below average.

The new phone seems to work ok and just as another sometimes the ear speaker just stops working and I can hear the people I'm talking to on my new phone. Daughter's phone broke, so filed claim with Asurion. Tech came to the house to replace/transfer data. Tech produced a new phone but deactivated MY phone in error and gave her new phone my number! Went to Verizon store to have my phone re-activated, not realizing that daughter's phone now had my number. Then daughter had no phone. Verizon would not help, nor would Asurion because daughter went home with phone and I did not have the SIM number. Tech indicated that he had the number but could not give it to me for privacy reasons. Two hours on phone with tech who said he'd activated her phone. This was inaccurate; phone was not activated. Has taken me 19 hours to resolve this issue on my own. A nightmare!

I dropped my insured phone and then spent hours with Asurion who told me: "based on your phone number, your phone is not insured" and then read back a completely different phone number than I gave them. "We can have a tech repairman come to your house" even though I told them 6 times I was away from home, traveling and wanted to use an Asurion-affiliated partner in the town I was in. "Our next repair slot is in 4 days. The technician will come to you between 3AM and 9AM" -- no words. "We can ship you a refurbished phone for the price of a new one." So I asked for a refund. They hung up on me. The worst service. And I'm still trying to get a refund.

Replacement arrived quickly! (Two days to Hawaii) Technology is super cool and CIA scary! Placed the two phones next to each other and just sit back and let them talk to each other. Very happy with the process and appreciate the phone numbers everywhere. In this day and age, you usually have to jump thru hoops to talk to a real person. Thank you! EASY!

Excellent customer service and extremely fast with the delivery of the new phone. I was very pleased and I would recommend the service to others if they inquire. Everything that was required to set up and send back the old phone was included and ready to return.

I made the claim and the replacement phone was sent immediately. The set setup of the new device went smoothly. However, the device would not function completely. I called and made a second claim. I am awaiting the delivery of another replacement device. The people I have dealt with have been very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. I will recommend Asurion to my family and friends.

Would recommend!! I am very well please and I would recommend to friends and family. Don't know what I would do without it; life would certainly be more difficulty for me and family. It saves money in a long run even though it might cost a little in the beginning. Thanks for everything!!!

I was told about Asurion by a server while I was waiting for Apple to see me about my phone. I called that afternoon and received my replacement the following day, so no complaints. Customer service was very helpful when I called asking for help deleting information on my previous phone. Will use in the future.

Everything went well except the automatic upgrade to something I had clicked "No Thanks" to. This happened last time too and I had to go into my cell account to change it back. Overall a great experience except that random upgrade. Please fix it - that is not a good business practice. Thank you!

Was getting frustrated with verification process (changed email on file with AT&T, Asurion couldn't "see" the change...after several days), however, Lacey was able to verify and expedited shipping process of replacement phone. Thanks to Lacey for fixing a problem 3 other reps could not!

Very easy process! Filed my claim online, received my replacement phone 2 days later. I did call to get assistance transferring everything and the rep was very knowledgeable and friendly. Didn't lose a thing when transferring to new phone. Very happy!

I scheduled an appointment for a screen repair on my device, only to discover that the front camera was destroyed. One phone call to correct repair needed and my replacement was sent the next day. The representative I spoke with was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions.

Very good about replacing phone, got the phone in record time although not happy getting a phone that is refurbished but that's fine. Been with AT&T for almost 20 years, wouldn't go anywhere else. AT&T stands behind their products. I am returning the phone that has a cracked screen.

In a nutshell, it's been 2 months since I filed a claim for tablet screen repair. I took it to UPS in box they sent me and put the enclosed label on it. A month goes by. I call them, it's now apparent they can't find my device. After giving me the run around for another 3 weeks I'm told: "Okay we will close the repair claim." Okay fine by me. Then I'm told that I have to fill out an affidavit and file a claim for a loss. Wait, I didn't lose it. I took it to ups. Ups didn't lose it. The tracking number clearly says delivered. Then I'm told that my 63$ deductible for screen repair is now going to be between 129$ to 179$, they can't say how much. This on a tablet I paid 200$ for, and the replacement will be a refurbished device. I have yet to send back the affidavit form. Want to call BBB and tell them, then take them to small claims court. Just to prove a point.

I purchased insurance on the new phone and it was well worth it. Boat sunk survived. All the way home I am thinking of all the things I lost. I didn't have time to think my phone, everything happened so fast! Phone shows up in a day. Back in business. Asurion is exactly the way it should be. Fast is not always good when you are sinking. Asurion was there for me!

Very responsive and fast. Had some issues and the chat feature was great. This was the first time I ever had to use my insurance and I was very glad I had it and how easy it was to do. But I hope I never have to do it again.
