    I've been paying for Asurion for 3 years on both my phones. Last week I had to open a claim, as some weights fell on my phone. Asurion will do the minimum for you. OR you could pay $300, which is basically the price of repair without insurance. Customer service was extremely rude. She said I opened the claim incorrectly and it's basically my problem if I can't read. Horrible experience.

    This replacement process was easy. I do wish the dealer store reps were more trained on how to deal with a claim and take a payment in store. Went I went into my local store I was advised I had to do everything online myself and that I could pay my deductible in store once I had filed the claim. Once I had filed and it was time to pay my deductible the store rep had no clue how to take the payment without filing the claim in the store.

    I sent my Xbox and controller bundle to get fixed Dec 6, 2018. I received the controller back on the Dec 11, 2018 but never did I get my Xbox. I would call to check the status of my Xbox and they would give me the runaround until today Jan 21, 2019 they now claim they never received my Xbox. I'm very upset they lost my Xbox. I sent both things in the same box!

    My first phone was "blacklisted" which put me in a very bad situation for days... Complaint to hopefully correct this problem in the future! All the providers should carry loaner phones to help customers in a event caused by you!     Asurion received my laptop 12/20/2018. They say repairs usually are completed within 3 business days. It is now 31 days later and I am waiting for a suitable replacement. After a few weeks they offered me a smaller screen replacement laptop or one with the full screen but it did not have the backlit keyboard which my unit has.

    I am a first time user and last time user of this insurance claim. I cracked my screen completely my fault and Verizon told me I could make a claim and get the screen repairs at a good price since I pay for insurance. I took them up on the offer after going through multiple agents not only with Verizon and Asurion about if they do loaner phones since I use my phone for work and home life. When both sides kept pointing fingers at each other I knew I should have just waited till my upgrade in a few months and left it alone. I decided to take a risk and send my phone in after talking to a Mike from Asurion about the steps I needed to take (which didn’t include any information about how to take a SIM card out) which I didn’t again my fault.

    I sent my phone in only to get it sent back three days later. Still broken, no SIM card and no information on why? After waiting till I could get my hands on a phone from the roomie I spent the next hour on the phone with Asurion and Verizon customer service reps which honestly I’m not impressed considering I work in hospitality and they were just along for the ride.

    So after 29 dollars of shipping and now 170 dollars that could have just been done in the first place I’m still without a phone until probably two more days. The communication with this company and the providers that represent it should be ashamed of themselves. Neither know what services they provide and need a refresher in customer service skills. I will say thank you to Erin (not sure if I spelled it correctly) for at least being honest and getting right to the point. I can say this with confidence. I will not be paying into this insurance and I will never use nor recommend it after this experience.

    I completely have a worst experience with Asurion. I have insurance with the for $12 before tax per month. Unfortunately I lost my IPHONE X when I was coming home by bus around 9:30 in the night. Next morning, I called them and I also suspended my number because I didn't wanted anybody else to use it. They said, "Ok fill the affidavit and send it with photo ID." I did same and then next day they denied my request. I asked them many times they said you didn't followed the terms but what is my fault if I lost it and I paid insurance since I bought my phone and they denied. I wish I could give them zero stars. I so living without a phone and still I am paying for device. Be careful, if you are going to get insurance with Asurion.

    I went into the store with my dropped cracked overheating phone and they were able to help me fill out all the paperwork needed to make this transition happen. They scanned my ID and I appreciated that as it helps prevent fraud. My replacement phone was in my hands in less than 24 hours.     Quick and easy - we are satisfied. When we originally filled the claim we were offered a phone that I wasn't pleased with, I mean, really, after over a decade of AT&T coverage with insurance on 4 phones, that I have made an insurance claim twice, this being the second time, and you offer a nobody wants phone? So we put the claim to the side and discussed just changing to a new carrier and starting with new phones with cheaper service for all 4 of us instead of paying over 100 bucks deductible to get a generic lame phone nobody has or wants.

    After discussion we signed back in to look at the lame phone that was offered again but this time they actually offered the same model phone that broke but the 1 step up newer model. So this was a more reasonable offer, considering I have paid close to 30 bucks a month - just in case - to get 2 crap exchanges on insurance - with a deductible, for over 10 years - close to 4000 dollars. Not pleased you wouldn't have offered this phone first. In fact because of this we bought a new iPhone with Apple Care, because if I am going to have some ridiculous deductible on a paid off phone, it might as well come from a company that makes it pretty clear from the get go what the cost of insurance is and the deductibles for various issues.
