    Dear CEO: I was very disappointed with the service offered by the company. My daughter

    has the 3 years protection plan with her iPod (never made a claim). On Jan of 2019, she dropped her iPod while she was riding her bike and a car run over her iPod (nature disaster). Initially we have contacted Walmart protection plan, everything was set and we have shipped to Asurion.

    Jan 22.2019 we received an email saying "The product is repairing." Jan 24 received an another email saying "It's in progress." Jan 25 received an another email saying "Needs to order parts. Need more time to fix." Jan 28 "Waiting for parts." Jan 30 "Waiting for parts." Feb. 1, receive an email saying "Need to order motherboard, don't know when it will be fixed." After this, no more email. Therefore, I called on the following Monday and asked the supervisor when can they fix it. She said, "Rest assured that we will fix it right away when we received the part." Sarah (supervisor) was very nice and offered a help and promised me that after 2 days that I will received an answer.

    Feb.3 No one called nor emailed. So I called, the representative told me that the iPod is no longer covered because it was run over by a car. What, you guys have never told me this before. So I asked for the supervisor Sarah ** for an answer. I told her when the iPod was dropped and the car was right behind. This was just an accidental damage. She just told me that there is nothing she can do. This was a totally different person from two days ago. Therefore, I asked her "Why needs to wait three weeks to tell me that the iPod is not cover. You guys know it is covered and that's why you guys are fixing it. Now that you guys cannot fix it so it is not covered. This is not right." I told her this is not the way how to deceit a children who is eagerly waiting for her iPod. Sarah was acting totally different way this time. She said there is nothing she can do.

    I have many products insured by Asurion, and this is the first time I am filing for my daughter. I have great faith in your company, please don't do this kind of thing to a child. Asurion, you did it. You keep the iPod or donate to the charity of your choice. I don't believe buying any more of your Asurion insurance anymore.

    We paid our premiums then when we made a claim. Asurion tells us that once we pay the $200 deductible a new/replacement phone would be sent 1-3 days and we would be sent a tracking #. PAID $ day 11. Now Asurion tells us they have no phones and not sure when phones available. Won't refund or help at all. Just stole our $$ and give us runaround. Worst customer service EVER! Lies, thievery and no help at all. Never use Asurion to ensure anything! THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SUED AND SHUT DOWN. Customer service reps lie, stall + BS. Oooh and please hold for every question to be answered. Every question?

    No signature required - After getting my phone ripped off I decided to make a claim. Everything goes pretty smooth until the Fedex drive decides to rip off my package and claim that it was shipped. After dealing with Sorry ** Fedex and their no good customer service I get nowhere. Asurion then later failed to send me another phone till they so called “investigated “. This has been a nightmare. And a headache.

    Don't buy product protection plan provided by Asurion as it will not be the same as you would have thought you bought. What contract the store will provide you will not be the same as what Asurion have on your plan coverage/contract. Walmart and Asurion both misleads customers.

    I shattered my iPhone 7 Plus screen 8/30/2018 while covered by Asurion insurance. I could not afford the $150 at the time to file the claim so I borrowed a phone from my daughter until I could afford the claim. I continued to pay for the insurance as I was making monthly payments for the iPhone 7plus even though it was not in service. 1/25/19 I had the $150 to file the claim on the phone that I still make payments on as well as Asurion insurance payments every month- Asurion refused to settle my claim stating I only have 90 days to make a claim after I broke the screen. Not a single person in the Verizon store was aware of the 90 day policy.

    So basically I paid insurance on a phone for 5 months after it was broken only to have my claim denied anyway. I’ve purchased 6 phones in 4 years and have never made a claim. So I paid $200 in town to have the screen fixed. Sold the phone for $400. Paid off the phone and dropped Asurion insurance. Never been so disappointed after being a loyal customer. I will never purchase Asurion insurance as long as live. I also dropped their insurance on the other 3 devices I had coverage on.

    When uploading claim it wouldn't let me submit. Then tried to fax it about three times each time it said that an error in communication occurred. Then called the number it said my claim had been submitted. The next morning I get a text saying finish my claim so I call the number again and was told my claim was appoved.

    I have been in the military 16 years and have never experience this kind of service. Asurion and UPS are the worst. They say my phone was late getting to me because weather however in the location my phone came from there is not weather issues or in my locations. The problem was they want to fly my phone to the Midwest. Before it came to me in the GA is only 5 hours and away from point of origin for the phone. SO now after waiting for days four days my still don't have my phone and Asurion is telling me to suck it up pretty much. If Verizon had any other insurance options I surely would never use Asurion again.

    Upon getting my phone stolen I contacted you guys to get a replacement. I was told that I was not covered and would need to call at&t. I dealt with this issues for 5 days. 5 claims and 50 something calls later. Numerous calls I was conferences in to explain the situation in regards of why the phone was not activated correctly and you guys would not help. Numerous times I was placed on hold to only be cold transferred without an explanation. Out of the 10-15 technicians I spoke to I would say 3 of them were very helpful and understood me. The others were so quick to hang up the phone with me and did not care to help me. I purchased insurance with the phone back in December.

    The amount of lies I was told was shocking. I eventually was able to get my claim started only to be denied multiple times after being told I wouldn’t. I had to submit documentation numerous times even though one of the three techs were so helpful he was able to help me not have to re send. You can see in the proof of purchase that insurance was purchased. Not sure why I kept being told I didn’t. I also did chat in a couple of times only to find myself speaking with rude people. Although I was able to get my issue resolved I feel that it should not have taken such a long hardworking process. If I had the choice to go with someone else I probably would after this experience.

    Customer Service Concern. I was contacted on December 5/18 by Asurion regarding the LG 60 inch TV purchased at Costco. It was deemed not repairable and I was advised I would be issued a cheque for the purchase price of the TV, and that the warranty purchased would then be void. I was told, I would receive this cheque within five to fifteen business days. With the holidays taken into consideration, I patiently waited for this cheque to arrive.

    No cheque had arrived by Jan 14/19. I contacted Asurion inquiring about the refund cheque. I was advised that it had been sent out Dec 7/18. The representative tried to reissue the cheque, but stated there was an error, and it would have to be flagged for a Supervisor who would be contacting me within two days. Jan 16/19, 4 pm, I have not heard from a Supervisor, so I contact Asurion again. I speak with a Customer service representative again, and hold for 25 minutes for a Supervisor. Supervisor comes on the line, asks again if I received the cheque, again I reiterate that I have not. He assures me that he will request the cheque be resent and expedited so that I will receive it in five to seven business days.

    Now, it is Jan 25/19. I have checked my secure mailbox every day, no cheque has arrived. I contact Asurion again. Express my frustration, and would like to know where the refund cheque is, as I have had to purchase a new TV and am now paying interest on the purchase. I am transferred to a Supervisor again, he states back to me that I am calling about still not receiving the cheque issued Dec 7/18. Now, I am very frustrated. I inform him that I have not received either cheque. He states that there was only one issued. I inquired as to where the notes were from my call in on Jan 16/19 with a Supervisor who stated the cheque would be reissued. He looked back and stated that the Supervisor did not follow through, so there was never a cheque reissued. I expressed that I want this cheque couriered to my home asap. I was told that I would receive it in five to ten business days.

    This Customer service is completely unacceptable. For the inconvenience, my purchase price of the warranty should also be refunded. I should not have to chase my refund cheque down, and be lied to by a “Supervisor”. Update: Contacted Asurion again Jan 31/19 regarding confirmation of mailed cheque. Advised by a fourth Supervisor, that the cheque has not been mailed, as the request came back as an error. Same promises supplied for the fourth time that it would be flagged for the accounting department and expedited for delivery within 5-10 business days. Zero faith that this company will fulfill the requirements of the extended warranty purchased.

    I let Asurion know that I'm fighting brain cancer and might have a seizure and need to call 911. One operator said they'd get me a phone in 24 hours, then I was put on hold, and when she came back on, she said it would be 3 days. I had to buy a prepaid phone to make sure I could call 911 if needed in those three days. Verizon is working to make that free of charge, but Asurion did absolutely nothing to help someone with a potentially life-threatening medical emergency. Who is the person who made that decision? Is s/he a sadist and laughed about it over drinks later? Is that company policy? Was it really worth saving a few dollars on shipping to make that decision? I may be fighting cancer, but Asurion is the one that's truly sick.

Asurion wouldn’t honor my claim on the cell phone because they say the phone wasn’t in use at the time of the incident which was before I switched to the business account only two weeks prior.     Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I completed the entire claim process and only afterwards realized there was an error with the address I had submitted for delivery. Using the online chat feature I was informed that they could not help me fix this simple detail and was told I would need to call the customer service department. After waiting on hold for a half an hour I was informed that it was somehow beyond them to change the address and the only way to do this was to cancel the entire claim and start again. A company that can't even access its own files to edit the details is not worthy of my time.

    The experience with Asurion was the worst with customer service. None of them knew what they were talking about. The second customer service rep I talk with was very rude. All gave me the run around. It wasn’t until the fifth day and the last rep who gave me the right answer. After I receive my replacement phone I was sent a inactive SIM card and still got the run around on how to replace it. The service was the worst. All customer service need to be retrained on speaking and knowledgeable information. The reason why I give one star is because that one person who knew what to do. Other than that I would give no stars.

    I opened a claim for fixing the defect in my flute on Dec 3rd 2018. While doing I was told that the shipping label will be generated and sent to me within 4 days. Instead after multiple phone calls and chat with customer support I received the label on Dec 15th 2018. I shipped my flute to the given address and the flute was received by the service center on Dec 26th 2018. I was told that the flute will be fixed and sent back to me within 10 days from the receipt at service center. Going by that and considering only working days I waited for the update till Jan 10th 2019. When I contacted the support guys, they told me that they have no information if the flute was with them and asked me to provide the UPS tracking number to them. It is weird that the company did not have the tracking number with them as it was supposed to be updated against my claim number.

    Since then I have called up the customer center a number of times and also had chat with them every alternate day. Every time I was told the claim was on high priority and I will receive a call from the service center and/or their supervisor within 48 hrs. But I never got a call. Last I called them on Jan 30th 2019 and then I was told that the flute is dispatched to me on Jan 26th but the customer center did not have the tracking details. This status again is weird. Going by the date and considering company sent the flute with ground shipping I should have got it by today but I have not yet. I was assured that I will receive a call back from the supervisor within 24hrs.

    I am writing this review after 30hrs since my last call to the customer center. I did not receive any call. I had a chat with someone by name Karen today. First she said there is no update from the service center and flute is still there. Later she stated that the service center has not provided any tracking number yet but it's been dispatched. Meanwhile I managed to get one tracking number from UPS for the shipment sent to me by the Asurion service center. The label was created Jan 21st and the status on the label said that the shipment was not shipped yet. I am not happy with the service and will not recommend this insurance to anyone. I just need my flute back at the earliest.

    I purchased 2 tablets for my children, one stopped charging and the other was dropped and cracked. The tablets were replacement with completely different tablets and the new tablets will not load anything for my children. Watching videos on the tablet freezes it up!!! The replacement tablets and nowhere near comparable to the original and I am very disappointed as well as my children!!! I will now have to purchase new tablets (which I should not have to considering I purchased the protection to replace the originals with comparable tablets) but instead now I will be spending more out of pocket to purchase new tablets that actually work and definitely will NOT be purchasing this protection plan again!!! WORTHLESS!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!! I would have kept the cracked tablet had I known the replacement wouldn't work. At least the cracked tablet did work for my child!!!

    The worst experience ever! I was told one price and at the end of the call I was given a different price. I was told a manager would fix the problem by getting the price adjusted and when I called back I was told they saw it in the notes but they could not help me. This insurance company is a rip off!
