I was relocating to a new house. I spoke with the relocation department before my move and on the day of the move everything they promised me was a lie. I called customer service about the issue, they told me there's nothing they can do to resolve the issue. The customer service managers act like CEO's because they know the complaint stops with them. It seems like DIRECTV gives them the power to say or do what they want. The reason for this statement is that DIRECTV makes it impossible to find contact info for any of the higher executives.

I did not realize that a dish had to be installed and I didn't have approval from my homeowners' association. I had to reschedule until I had approval.

Personnel in customer service are knowledgeable and did everything in their power to give me info on rates of service, channel lineup and what to expect when the technician comes to my home. Very happy with DIRECTV so far.

I called because my bill went up. Which I knew it would. I know they have the ability to lower bills. I know this because I have talked to others who have had their bills lowered without losing packages or programs. Consider myself a loyal customer. I always pay my bill on time. I talked to 2 different employees and both were very pleasant, no complaints with them. My complaint is they always offer the best deals to new customers rather than trying to take care of the good customers they have. Even though I really enjoy the DirecTV programming, I will probably be cancelling my service based on them not taking care of the customers' needs.

We are pleased with the sound and also your closed captioning system. We are both hard of hearing. I like the fact that we can watch TV on the iPhone, iPad and computer. Not happy that we have a dish on our front lawn in the middle of my flower bed, however. We were never told that your service came through a dish.

I was not pleased when I saw service charges were going to be $49 each time I needed a tech to fix something. Always was included in the price on other cable companies I have had. I was happy to get the service package for a minimum price. Of course I ended up having other questions that got answered so all went well and I will be looking forward to seeing how well everything works out with the Dish TV program.

Since I bought the service from Directv on December 28, 2015 I asked the salesperson what was the best plan he could give me. He explain to me about the deal. I told him that I want it to save monthly on receivers, that if I could download the Directv app on a wii or Xbox and he told "absolutely". That was the fist lie. Then one week later the installer came. He didn't bring the right equipment (receivers) to install. I told him to wait that I was going to clarify the situation by calling Directv customer service. He told me that he could not wait for that because he had others installations (it was a rainy day). I missed the whole day of work waiting for that installation.
I called customer service to reschedule the installation and they told me that they already had for Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 12pm to 4pm. I told them that if I could have the installation on Saturday 9 or Sunday the 10, because I am at home and I can't afford to miss another day of work. I even spoke to a supervisor called Theresa (emp.Id **) and she told me that they can't change that installation for a those days that I wanted. That the best she could give me was the January 16 or the next following days. I told her that I paid for the service since the December 28, 2015 and that to have that installed on the January 16, 2016. It will almost a month paying for Directv without having the service installed and She told me, "I am sorry." She could do nothing about it. I am very disappointed with Directv customer service.

After reviewing the 2nd year cost for adding DirecTV and discovering it would result in a significant increase over my current service costs (primarily due to the cumulative equipment rental costs) I decided to cancel the scheduled installation. The cancellation process was very painless and the DirecTV representative really tried to find a plan that would work but was not successful. She was very polite and understanding and I was left feeling that she really tried to help me.

I decided not to have your dish installed for several reasons. The installation rep that came out said that due to the heavily treed area there was only one small opening to place the dish (on the roof to the front of house) pointing through a small opening in trees. Since, in time those trees, not on my property, would close the opening, I felt that was not a good option. Also since my house has 25 year, he could not hook up to the old coaxial cable. Only option offered was to run cable over the roof, down the back of house and bring cable up through the floor to connect to TVs. Again not an acceptable situation. I do understand that none of the situation is the fault of DIRECTV but I'm not satisfied so I could not give a higher score.

We recently moved to TN and the ONLY cable service available in our area is DIRECTV. That's where they get you! Customer service? None! Service absolutely horrible! Constant interruptions, Programs Freeze, sound doesn't work on different channels, hit or miss. I have never had such horrible cable service in my life. Customer service are just people who answer the phones and give you lip service (human pacifiers). I would NEVER recommend DIRECTV to anyone and if you're thinking of signing up with them take my advice and DON'T! You will regret it.

Problem 1. I signed up with DirecTV about 3 months ago. Come to find out I was unable to get internet service because my side of the street did not have access. Took 3 weeks for service to be connected. Problem 2. We signed up for 24 mbps. When tested, we only have 17.3, 9.8 and 5.10 which means we don't have 24 mbps and it's not constant. Prob 3. Customer service stinks. I spoke to a TG at U-verse and Tim @ U-verse on 1/6/16 and they both had my wife on hold for over 45 min. Prob 4. When you call DirecTV and on hold for over an hour, your call is rerouted to U-verse and TG states he can't help me.
Prob 5. I was told that my bill would be combined. I am still paying both services (U-verse/DirecTV). Prob 6. We were told when we signed up that to get the extra box would be $5.00 a month. We were charged $15.00 instead. Why offer a service if you can't provide it? (Internet which took 3 weeks to get/combined billing which we still don't have.) On 1/6/16, we did get a supervisor on the phone and we explained to him the dilemma and he credit the account for $50.

Our TV service providers have included local cable, Dish TV, Comcast, now DirecTV which feeds us constant signal Interruptions of movies and sporting events for hours at a time is the norm. Replacement equipment has made no difference.

When I first call DirecTV I specifically asked what it would cost me to get a connection where I could watch NBA games "now" on any channels where the NBA plays other than TNT, and I was assured I would get it and was quoted $36.49/month, free installation and only have to pay $21.15 to have the order processed which was cleared via debit 01/06/2016. Before the technician left, I made sure I could get the channels where NBA plays and was advised by technician the channel for NBA is not on my package I chose. So I called DirecTV and was telling about the issue but unfortunately I was answered by very impatient lady who I'd say is not nice to talk too so I asked for another person instead and was fortunate to have Mr. ** and he resolved the issue of me to pay $36.49/ month only.

I called DirecTV to install DirecTV since Comcast increased the monthly invoice. I was told they could install it. However when the gentleman came out, he said it would not work. We have too many trees and bushes in the way.

I am very disappointed in the Directv customer service. I signed on to Directv 3 months ago when we moved. When I signed up I asked if I could add additional boxes later and was told absolutely with no problems. When we moved in we needed to do a lot of work to the basement before we could use it. I didn't want to pay for a box. I wasn't using yet. Now that I need the box they want to charge me an extra $50 (on top of the $99 box fee and monthly charge) because I haven't been a customer long enough. WHAT! $50 just for not being with you long enough yet. This is ridiculous. I am locked in for 2 years so you know I'll be with you for at least that long. I wasn't charged anything for the boxes I got when I signed up. They should have told me this when I asked originally. I would have paid the $7/month fee for the last 3 months to avoid the $99 + $50 fees now!

I am very happy to be a part of DirecTV. My experience started out great. When the installer came out, I must say at first I was concerned as he left saying he would be back. I even placed a call when it became excessive amount of time. However, after the explanation, followed by impressive competence, efficiency and courtesy, all was forgiven. My overall experience was very positive and we are pleased. I will definitely recommend DTV to friends and family.

We decided to sign up with Directv after having Netflix only for a few months. We called and got a great package for $66 a month. First month bill came - $66 dollars... no problem! Next month $76.... Next month $88.... Next month nearly $100. Called and complained when it went up the first two times. Customer service said packages were added by them (NOT ME), they were hidden fees when we signed up. I asked her to remove my service. I was not paying $90 for television every month. Customer service assured me that would not be this high next month (Which I assume she never noted in the chart that I called, the lady I spoke with today said there was no record of wanting to cancel - Thanks Directv). No, it was even higher!
I took my boxes and unplugged them. Get called 5x a day asking to pay. Now, get an email stating I will be charged $135 for each box. Plus $200 for the service I told the representative I was not paying for and another additional $20 a month for every month we didn't use them. I called AGAIN to complain and ask them to cancel, but now are stating there is nothing they can do but get the boxes back and me pay nearly $400 or they will charge me anyways. Complete bull! I will never ever use DIRECTV AGAIN or RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE to anyone! DirecTV "discounts" are a scam! If I could go lower than a 1 on this review I would. - One Unhappy Customer.

I was lied to about the cost of the service and the equipment that would be installed. Once I found out of the discrepancy, I called to give Directv a chance to resolve the issue. I was told nothing would be done and that if I canceled, I'd be charged almost $500. This company is a fraud and I can't wait to be done with them.

After several times of contacting them no one ever resolve the issue that I was having with the bad service. Multiple contacts, way too much time spent being on the phone I finally decided to go back to Dish where I had just changed from. That seems to not bother them either. No one ever lift a finger to see why our service is better. "Please stay here and we'll make whatever the issues are," happen nothing like that. So in return to all of it multiple calls dissatisfaction of service etcetera they have now taken almost $400 on my checking account. Does it really makes sense? They have sent me about to return the product, everything was there. They should have waived the fee. Very dissatisfied. Will never ever even think about changing to DIRECTV.

I had a scheduled install for 1-5-2016. I was told it would happen between 12 and 4 pm, and I would receive notification during that time period of exactly when the tech would be there. I did receive that notification at 1:51 pm. The text said, "Your technician will be there between 240 pm-310 pm". I had to leave work early, hit some heavy traffic then I passed the tech 1 min from my house heading the opposite direction at 241 pm. I pulled in my driveway at 242 pm, called DirecTV immediately and told them he had left at exactly the time he suppose to have been there. They could not redirect him because he had closed the work order at 240 pm (text plainly says 250 pm-310 pm), a 30 min window. I don't want to be dedicated to a company for 2 yrs with this poor of customer service. I cancelled the install.

Searched from new program. "No Information". Missed two premier episodes because update didn't happen at DirecTV. What equipment and what I pay for - not provided. Also when I called to ask about this disruption in service, I purposefully went to "New Sales", they answered immediately. They of course transferred me to tech support. I waited 17 minutes and they didn't help.

On December 10, 15 I noticed my bank account was negative and seen that directv had taken a payment out of my account without my authorization. I contacted them that same day and was told an escalation ticket had to be submitted which can take 3-5 business days for me to get a refund. I never heard or seen the money put back so I called them on December the 15 and was told the time frame for that is 5-10 business days. It's now January 5 and still no refund. I have canceled my service and was just told today that my refund ticket has been denied since I now owe contract fees. I tried explaining that I never would have cancelled if my money would have been refunded in a timely manner. Can anybody help me in this situation. This has caused me overdraft fees in my bank account.

We started service in May of 2015 and have been given different amounts owed for our monthly service. Auto pay was set up on the 1st of the month, but in fact, withdrawals were being taken on the 23rd of the month. We are having to call in to process payment with a $5 fee because the auto pay is unreliable. We were told service would be $39/mo without letting us know that they would be adding and charging us for sports channels and HBO. They refuse to take the charges off and in fact told us that we had an outstanding balance after my husband called 4-5 times to figure out exactly why we owed more money later in the month, after making our monthly payments. We paid $90.09 and $36.10 in the month of November for no reason. Another call to directv after service was unavailable, resulted in paying another $7 and service continued to not work.
Directv has overcharged us for our monthly service, automatically withdrawing $217 in the month of Jan. 2016. And then crediting the account $52 after I called to complain. I'm being charged for things that were not disclosed prior to signing the "one year" contract which is in fact two years. They will not cancel our service without us paying a cancellation fee. This is not right and is clearly false advertising and should be made right. When calling customer service, none of the charges make sense and nothing was resolved. Thank you.

We have been having a problem with our Genie system since October of 23015. We get pixels instead of a picture, a black screen, a white screen, and a very slow response to changing channels, etc. I have called many many times, and they just say it is a software problem. On December 29th I called and spoke to Tori in Monroeville PA, who told me she was a manager, turns out she is a supervisor. She was going to request a newer model of the genie and would send it out to us. She was to call me back that evening, or the next morning at the latest. She never called. I called today and spoke to Steven in Mississippi. He said the request had been denied. No solution, just say with Directv as is. I said, "I was going to look into canceling and going with Charter." He said, "Have a nice day."

Was told by sales assoc. that in order to lower my bill to budgeted amt. I could have equip install and then call customer serv to cancel the dvr service. Customer serv tells me that it is impossible to do this. Phone call supposedly was recorded when I spoke with Kyle and I'm asking to find that conversation. Customer serv was unable to help until I spoke to a supervisor who went to the "president" she said and they offered me $360 in credit to cover the extra $15 per month charge for 24 months for the dvr service and told me I'd still get the dvr but would not have to pay for it due to the credit she was giving me as a one time upfront amount to use however I wanted. I'm still livid that the information was false that I received and that the company operates in such an illegal and unethical manner. Shame on DirecTV!!!

My installer was prompt & polite. He was quick & neat while he was working in my home. I would recommend him to my friends along with DirecTV. The only problem I have is I can't get internet services with ANYONE! My home is in wrong area. So I can't use my ON DEMAND portion of my plan. Bummed out!

I have been with DIRECTV since 1994. The service has always been good and I really can't complain about anything. As with everything these days, I have been looking to save money wherever I can. I was comparing the costs of keeping DIRECTV or possibly switching to Dish Network to take advantage of one of the promotional offers for a new customer. I called DIRECTV to get a date when my current contract was up. The CSR was very helpful and offered to lower my monthly bill for the next 12 months till I had made a decision. New customers beware! Be vigilant to all DirecTV offers when they try to convince you to sign up with their service. Shame because AT&T owns them now. When they sign me up 4 days ago, I was told that I will get both 2015 and 2016 Sunday NFL ticket for free. When I got my equipment installed, I tried to watch NFL game and was surprised that I have to pay $49.99 to access the channel. Call tech support and was told that only 2016 NFL season is added to my contract as opposed to the promised during signing. A lot of excuses they tried to come up with to get away with me. Now, I have to live with it for the rest of my contract. Worst experience I ever had. What a shame dishonesty with customers. I never ever recommend this to anyone. There's a lot of hidden fees and lies you can hear from them to get customers sign up.

When I first signed with DIRECTV I informed them I would be moving soon. I was told there would be no problem and no extra charges. Turns out it was almost $300 to move. Then it took a week to finally get a tech out after I was told he showed up but nobody was home which was a lie. I was home waiting the whole time and nobody showed. It took three months to get my billing address changed. After many phone calls with rude people that I can barely understand, emails and extra charges it was finally fixed. Within a week of receiving and paying my first bill they turned off my service. I spoke with management but they did not care that customer service made several mistakes and lied to me on numerous occasions. They lie to get you to sign up then lie when they make a mistake and make you pay. It seems that lies and deceit are standard practice for DIRECTV. It is scary that they claim to be number one in customer service.

The only comment I have is after I signed on with you, I got an e-mail about pre paid visa for new customers. When I called about this, I was informed that in order for them to check to see if I qualify they would have to do my application all over to see if would qualify so I declined because I am anxious to get this installed. I would recommend in future this step is done during conversation so people won't miss out on something like this offer in the future. You have my approval now. I just wish I knew about this offer while we we're talking. I could really used that card. Just glad I will be connected soon.

They charged me for an extra month after I cancelled in October of 2011. I called. CSR said their mistake and do not worry about it because she would take care of it. It did not get taken care of unbeknownst to me until November of 2015. They turned it over to a collection agency named Transworld. Very shady. I called DirecTV to fix it again. The CSR said it was out of their hands now. I called Transworld and protested. They went through the motions in my opinion but still want me to pay for something I do not owe. It is their mistake but I am the only one who suffers. Very shady to say the least.

My experience has been great. I was recommended by my sister who has DIRECTV for years and I would recommend you without a doubt. Customer service is great and to be honest never had cable because it was too expensive. I got it for my kids for Christmas because they had been begging me for years. It strictly started because the price was right for my budget but ended up being an excellent experience from beginning to end.

We have been a customer with Dish for approx. 20 years. Whenever I had an issue and called them, I always got someone that I couldn't understand, from some other country. And if something of theirs broke, like the receivers on the dish, they wanted to bill me for a service call to fix their equipment. Also, they would give us some movie channels that we never knew about and started billing us for them. I called and complained and they said they would cancel them and credit our account. WRONG. So as soon as your installer is finished the summing Tuesday, I'm canceling Dish.

Watch out for SLAMMING they will add to your service contract without telling you... (remember when you change your service??? OR remember the credit we gave you for lack of service?). They will add a $7.50 monthly service contract without permission. If you have the service contract it means nothing. It may take UP to 2 weeks to have service. I pay $35 monthly to lease their equipment and they want me to pay $49 to have them fix their equipment. I paid $350 in the beginning for an HD DVR which they now say I do not own. NOT my understanding from the installer. DO NOT GET DirecTV!! Or you will be SORRY!!! I AM canceling ASAP.

Spoke with the first rep. Asked for 2 TV's, 1 dvr, a landline and high-speed internet. She gave me the rundown of what she had to do in order to give me a quote. By the time she was finished with her chatter I was in shock. A customer could ask for a quote and she recited a dissertation as to what she had to do to get me the quote. This was not a job interview I just wanted a price. Second rep: spelled out the street phonetically then spelled it incorrectly 3 times. Passed me on to another dept who didn't understand why I was switched then passed me back to sales where the new sales rep went thru an entire story of what they had to do to get a quote. Absolutely not interested in doing business with this company. Don't care what price it is at. Cannot believe in 2015 they are presenting their job descriptions when all I wanted was a quote then they can't spell to save their lives. Done & Done!

Do not believe DirecTV when they say that when you move, it is simple to move your equipment with you. I have been on the phone with them for over 2 hours trying to get my equip moved and they were going to charge me $199 to move. Plus an additional $20 for handling fees! Also, AT&T and DirecTV are not of the same family. Every time I call DirecTV to speak about my services, they say part of that services is with AT&T and they cannot help me or see any part that is tied to AT&T. If you are the same family - one company, then why do I have to call another company to resolve my service issues?
I was mislead into believing that AT&T and DirecTV are of one company and would receive the same services that I had with AT&T only to have to go through each individually to get services corrected. My cable is getting moved and installed 6 days before I can even have my internet and phone moved and installed because they are not of the same company or family.

I scheduled an appointment for December 29 to have new installation. Received order confirmation, verified all information was correct. Day of install tech was supposed to arrive between 12-4pm. I received several automated calls with ETA updates throughout the afternoon. At 4pm the tech still had not arrived. Received a final call, last one saying tech would arrive by 5:4pm. Message instructed me to do nothing of it was okay to come at that time. Called at 6:15ish to find out tech was not coming with a lame excuse that he/she couldn't find the house. CSR agent was very empathetic and reassuring. Gave us credit toward our first bill and Visa gift card. However, our appointment had to be rescheduled for Jan 4.

Hello good people of America, let me just say that I have been a very long time customer with DirecTV (approximately 17 years or more) and until now I am very disappointed in the way the company has become. I had my service temporarily suspended due to not living in the residence and trying to sell it. Well, the house has not sold yet and the so called six month suspension was up and after my wife spoke to a female representative who was apparently very rude and stated that there were no exceptions to extend the suspension and that the service will be turned back on or they will terminate the service. Well, after my wife called me and advised me the situation I called and spoke with another representative (who I could not really understand due to her dialect) and she also said there was nothing she could do for me so I asked for her supervisor.
Well, I spoke with Vera, (who also had a really harsh dialect) and she advised me the same that I could not get an extension. Well, she did say there was another choice and that was to get a lower package cost and other charges that would amount to $59.00 a month. I advised her that after being a loyal customer for over 17 years and a very expensive package deal, HBO, NFL Network, and other programming, and the fact that they will not do a simple extension of the service being suspended until we sell the house, I feel that my money can be spent elsewhere where the business actually cares for their loyal customers. I do not want to sound like a racist but to me it appears that their customer service personnel are overseas and can care less about the customers they are catering to.
That is my 2 cents and I really hope that DirecTV gets their act together because I will not use them again. And I am sure I will not be the only one because I have friends in the US Military and I know they get sent over to fight for other people's rights and liberties and are gone for longer periods than 6 months. It is a shame that because at one point in time I could count on DirecTV for some very good service and programming and at no time did I see myself seeking service from another provider. I bundled DirecTV with CenturyLink in 2013. The first 3 months DirecTV overbilled from what was quoted... never received a credit. In 2015 I tried to unbundle CenturyLink and DirecTV 3 times... I spoke to both DirecTV and CenturyLink... with all their technology it was a task they could not accomplish. I then tried to cancel my subscription with DirecTV thru CenturyLink since that is how they were bundled and billed. I did this twice BEFORE my DirecTV billing period was due and was informed that CenturyLink pays a month in advance to DirecTV and that cancellation can only be done thru DirecTV.
I finally got DirecTV to cancel my subscription and got confirmation of the day service was stopped and was quoted a cancellation fee that just happened to be close to the pre-paid amount for the service would not receive. In effect, "Don't expect a credit check for services you didn't receive." My December billing from CenturyLink still has a DirecTV billing noted.... CenturyLink pays DirecTV a month in advance and CenturyLink has no policy in place to remove the billing or provide a credit when payment is made. Never again will I bundle any services... A perfect opportunity for companies to shuffle the customer around, overbill, and restrict a customer's attempts to resolve billing errors. STAY AWAY FROM DIRECTV AND CENTURYLINK. BOTH ARE DISHONEST IN THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. BUYER BEWARE.

When I called to inquire the representative was attentive and immediately rescheduled the appointment while apologizing the entire time for the miscommunication. She also credited my account for the inconvenience.

I have had DIRECTV for 6 years and have enjoyed the product until my Genie, which has been having isolated problems for about a year, finally has gotten to where it is hard to watch because it pixelates and freezes, won't react to a command from the remote for 3 to 5 or more seconds. Sometimes you have to hit the remote many times to get it to work and then it may do a couple of the commands because you didn't wait long enough before trying it again. There are more problems, but they are less of a problem. I hate to change out the unit because we have so many programs taped that we haven't seen.
About a year ago I got a phone solicitation to purchase their Premier Service program for an additional $20 a month approx. Because of a problem with Dish, who I had been with for many years, sending me re-manufactured DVR's that were as bad or worse than the original, I asked the person what kind of machine would I get if my current DVR went out. I was told that I would get the latest and greatest machine, the newest generation that was available at the time, not a used machine. Well they will not honor that contract and really don't care that I will be quitting them. I have paid over $100 a month for 7 years now and they will treat the new customer to the newest generation of equipment before they will work with an existing customer. I guess I will go back to Dish and get their best Hopper and then if I have a problem with it and can't get it resolved go back to DIRECTV and get the new stuff.
It is really poor customer service to treat the existing customers as second class and the new customer, that hasn't paid them a dime terrific. The sales person who sold me the Premier plan flat lied to me and I would have got this same treatment with their $5.00 a month insurance plan that they had sold me originally. I feel really cheated and lied to and will not be staying with them.

I have been a DirecTV customer for over 10 years. Got the Genie system, has been progressively slower and slower. Called 2 months ago, no problems here. Called and chatted yesterday, it's a known issue and we are working on it. Any fixes they have pushed have made the system pretty much unusable now. Since I have the home maintenance, if they don't come out and fix it, which they say they cannot, it is grounds for me to get out of my contract. Maybe it's that AT&T crap factory bought them. But it's really bad.

To start my account, I was told that a soft credit check would be performed. When I checked today, my score dropped by 34 points because of a hard check performed by DirecTV. This is totally disappointing and I would request new customers to never impact their scores by getting onto DirecTV.

Their representative sold us the cable plan by telling us that we would receive all the movie channels free for a year. We have text messages from this rep to show that was the deal when we signed up. When we were billed for the charges and called them to have it fixed they told us they never heard of that plan and wouldn't do anything to correct the issue.

Great value and service. We switched from Cox since we were tired of getting gouged and for a comparable price we're getting more channels for our money. The installation tech Kayla was excellent. We were able to take advantage of several promotions, including a referral credit since my in-laws told us about DirecTV. I signed up for DirecTV a year ago. I was promised at the time that my TV rates will never increase, only the internet which they told me I could call and sign up for a new promotion when that did happen. They LIE. In a year's time, they have raised my rates THREE DIFFERENT TIMES, both with TV AND internet. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get bills fixed and downgrading services to save money. I paid $140/mth for most of last year until they raised the rates and this next bill they wanted $186. I have added nothing new or purchased anything. This is how they operate.
I cancelled today and they told me I will be charged $240 cancellation fee, since I still have 11 months left in my "contract" which of course they don't care about their end of the contract and the raised rates. They are a horrible company that doesn't care about their customers. They lie and swindle you and you will regret the day you ever called them. Get a roku box and stream free TV or pay $35/mth for Sling tv and HBO. No contract, no fees, and better yet no horrible DirecTV to deal with. Good riddance! Would give zero stars if I could.

My disabled brother called to extend his DirecTV service throughout the house cancelling another plan that was in house to eliminate 2 DirecTV bills. DirecTV upsold 2 genie boxes to my disabled brother and is trying to charge him 400.00 for genie boxes that were not even required to extend his plan through the house. After catching the mishap and speaking to the rep she asked me, "Why does your brother have DirecTV if he has a disability"? They will not credit the account or will not take the boxes back.

My parents have been with DIRECTV for over 8 years. They moved to an retirement home for about 6 months and at that time they canceled DIRECTV. They moved back home to Savannah GA and called to get DIRECTV back started. The technician came out and said they could not go on our roof or get off the ladder or they would lose their job. They said that we had to get a new dish and everything. We ask what can be done and they said nothing and left. We called and ask for a supervisor to come out and see what he could do but he only sent another employee. We have had to go to another vendor and DIRECTV needs to appreciate their customers that have been long term customers. By the way the dish on the roof was installed by DIRECTV.
