I applied to Lendio and to my bank. My bank was responsive (answered email questions) and got my application to the SBA and Lendio never did. The website that my application was under review when I submitted all information requested. No return phone calls, and only robotic email responses - no humans were ever available. Their reputation for easy and quick process did not apply.

This is the second round of PPP loans and there is nothing different than the first time. First let me state that I am a small business owner of a remodeling company and have no accounting experience whatsoever. With that being said I obviously need a little help when they start asking for government required documents and never get helpful responses from either Ready Capital or Lendio. It’s now been 2 weeks since I applied online and I’m still not sent to the SBA for approval. I need funds now not 2 months from now and obviously it seems to me I’m a small guy and not a lot of profit in me. I keep getting emails saying missing documents in which I know I have sent twice already. They send very vague emails so now on hold for over 10 minutes and it’s asking if I’d rather receive a call back when an agent is available and I’m skeptical because I’ve literally have never heard back from either companies when asked.

I honestly get more emails about signing up for their live events than I do for the application. Please playboy get out from in front of your GoPro and process some loans. Last round it took a long time as well and I literally gave up only to finally get an email from an underwriter and I asked her a very simple question. “just out of curiosity why did this take so long?” I was asking so that I may better myself when applying for a loan next time and she responds back "if you are unhappy with us I can terminate your loan if you’d like." I emailed and called customer service because obviously this concerned me because I stated “No I would not like to have my loan terminated” and I never heard back. One day I look in my acct and there is loan money there. They need to have a meeting and let everyone know that not everyone has accounting experience and are overwhelmed just as much as they are if not more.

Used them in 3 separate loans, one out of those was successful. The one that succeeded although interest rate was a little high I had no issue with it. Although in my opinion it was luck. I then applied for the first PPP, they submitted my application too late. I brushed that off, then came the second round. I applied the first day it opened, they gave no reminder. Either way I went through because they knew my info. I then had to tell them how to input things in the application because they had no idea. Then they switched case workers.

Now as a business owner I strive on communicating with my clients so this next part is what caused all of my negative issues with this company. After they said it would be submitted in 2 days I went 4 days not hearing back a single word and the application not being submitted. I called, left emails and voicemails and got no response. I then switched lenders and got the application to underwriting within a hour. Never will I ever use Lendio ever again.

I was able to use this money to save my business! The staff at Lendio was amazing! Everyone was extremely responsive and fast. I contacted them several times about my ppp loan about the forgiveness part. I told them mine was not through a bank. It was done through Kabbage. I kept telling them that Kabbage was telling me I have to wait and go through them. They just gave me the runaround about it especially Nathan ** who works there. Then they wondered why I got angry when I called. I kept calling them and still the runaround especially from Nathan. I would not recommend them Sid a loan organization to anyone. I had every right to be angry because I never got any straight answers. Nathan even helped me fill out a forgiveness form after many phone calls. That was a joke and went nowhere. Terrible organization. Thank you for letting me say my piece. Sheila **.

Applied for a PPP loan and Lendio sends me an E mail stating I was approved and assigned an SBA file number. After that I heard nothing from them. I checked the portal daily and there was no change. No loan documents to sign, nothing. With the passing of time and no action, or updates from Lendio I went elsewhere and then the application and was approved and funds deposited in 5 days. I will be applying for an SBA loan probably next in the next month or so and Lendio will not be considered for my loan needs. Lendio inaction could have devastated my business. Thank goodness someone else stepped up to help. I do not recommend Lendio. Stay away, look elsewhere.

I received my PLP # from SBA for my PPP loan through Lendio on June 6th. While I had communication with a gentleman that was to my Account Rep., he unfortunately doesn't have any information from the Lender (which Lendio is not) and they have no way of getting any sort of updates from the Lender. (I can't even find out what email address the Lender will be using to send my closing documents from so that I can make sure that the email address isn't flagged as Junk!)

Today is day 10. Not a single word from the Lender throughout the last 10 1/2 days since the SBA approval was received. Given the fact that, up until this point the program is set to last only through the end of June, I am worried that, if for some reason this Lender runs out of funds or cancels my application at the last minute, I will not have any time to scramble to find another lender. When I voiced this to my account rep, I was given the "unprecedented times" spiel and then told that I could cancel it if I wanted. When I asked why the Lender didn't stick with the 10-day rule from the SBA, I was told that it wasn't enforced.

I just would like to see at least some transparency here. Being told that they have no idea what the Lender wants to see to make sure that closing documents go out, but try submitting X docs and add through the portal, is not very helpful. I'm ready to get my business back to work and look forward to this being resolved relatively soon. (I was warned that it could take more than a month, so... Gird yourself!)

When I signed into Lendio to check my application status I received this message below: " This application has been deactivated. If this was done in error or you wish to reactivate your application to be considered for PPP funds, please call customer service. 855-853-6346- Customer Service Number. START NEW APPLICATION." This is WRONG. I did not modify my application or make any changes. So who in my loan application, from the computer history of Lendio, changed my loan application? Who was it that made any unauthorized changes to my application and what day was it done? And why?

Lendio Cancelled my sole proprietor SBA loan, saying I or someone cancelled my loan. How could this happen at a time like this? People are out of work and dying and Lendio is mishandling my SBA loan application. SAD, Please fix this unauthorized modification of my application, since I did nothing to cause any authorized modifications or cancellations. Please respond with your immediate corrections to my loan application. This is causing unnecessary processing time for government funds that disappearing fast. And stress that I don't need more of at this time.

I applied for PPP loan (via Lendio) the first week of April. On 4/16/2020 I received a PLP number through Lendio/Reality Capital. I was told I would receive information within 24-48 hours and the process would be wrapped up within 10 days. It's May 16th: 6 weeks since I applied and over 4 weeks since I received word that I was assigned a PLP number.

Reality Capital has twice requested further documentation. I sent requested documentation within 2 hours on both occasions and on both occasions heard nothing back. Additional docs is something Chase and TCF bank both requested before even submitting my loan app to SBA. So, the fact that I've already received a PLP # and signed a loan agreement, and THEN received requests for additional docs feels very backwards. As of today I have not heard anything about my PPP loan with Reality Capital since submitting additional docs. I've since been turned down by both Chase and TCF as a result of Lendio/Reality Capital holding captive the PLP number for my business.

We have reopened and are struggling after losing 5 weeks of income. We're also facing very high payroll as a result of the backlog of work. There is no point of contact to get an update. I see online that SBA will cancel PLP numbers if not funded with 10 days... This causes me huge concern. Not to mention, so many people who applied after me have already been funded through other sources, including PayPal and Intuit/Quickbooks - I'm a customer of both! Nowhere does it say this process is should take 30 days from the date the PLP is issued. I'm beginning to feel extremely worried that I will ultimately lose out. What is the status of my PPP loan application? I need answers.

I applied via Lendio on 04/11/2020. Received SBA approval and plp# on 04/16/2020. Since then just a twisted web of deceptive emails and placation from Lendio CEO Brock Blake. Finally signed closing loan docs and SBA note on 05/06/2020. As per latest SBA guidelines; I was supposed to be funded by 05/08/2020. Instead early that morning I received email from Ready Capital requesting schedule C. Sch C was already uploaded in original app package. I'm a sole proprietor and email was worded and sent only to sole proprietors. So not only was it a stall tactic to try to claim docs were missing to reset clock on funding, it proved that sole proprietors were pushed to last in line for funding.

We sole props are lowest dollar value of all loans and shows they prioritized larger loans first. These 2 companies are shady and lie and shouldn't be allowed to finance a lemonade stand. I am opting out of arbitration within 30 days to join class action suit. They strung along 10's of thousands of businesses and accountable for businesses failing during time our SBA#'s were held hostage by them. Avoid them now and in the future. Ruining lives through gross negligence and mismanagement during a pandemic demands justice.

Updated on 05/18/2020: Lendio sent me an email stating that they submitted my application to Texas National Bank on 4/25. Today I logged into the Lendio portal only to find my application submitted date had now changed to 5/13. So I immediately got on the phone. A lendio rep told me that texas national bank released my application. That now my application was submitted to Kabbage. Which I already applied at on 4/10.

I get an email today from kabbage stating my application was denied because they already have an application on file. So I immediately reached out to lendio. They stated that it is out of their hands now. So I asked for texas national banks phone number. Called them and they said they have not sent any applications back to lendio and that they are not overwhelmed at all. They stated they have a 10 day turn around on applications. I asked the lady there if she could check on my application to see if they ever received one from lendio. She said there is no way they ever received my application or it would be in their system.

I asked her if once they sent it back to lendio would it still be in their system. She replied back, "Sir, we don't send applications back to lendio. We never received an application for you from lendio." So basically lendio just filled me full of **. Lied and said my application was submitted on 4/25 to a bank that has never received my application. This has got to be against the law. I am definitely contacting my lawyer today.

Original review: I submitted an app on 4/13. Got an email on 4/15 saying funds had ran out. Then on 4/25 got another email saying my app was submitted to a lender. Haven't heard anything sense. Tried calling 5 times. Let 6 emails. Chat function never has an agent available. Meanwhile I was worried abs applied to 10 other places in a hurry. I have heard back from 3 of those places in only 2 days. I've been waiting to hear from Lendio for almost 2 weeks now. What a horrible company. I really wish I hadn't wasted my time with these guys. I have never applied for anything to do with sba. I didn't even notice that I was on sba.com instead of sba.gov. The sad part is when I called my local sba office. They had never heard of sba.com or lendio and wanted to verify that I did not send my infirmary to a scammer. Now I'm freaking sweating bullets here.

LENDIO and their partner added to the nightmarish experience that small business owners encountered when attempting to apply for the Round 1 SBA PPP loan program. Frontrunning more reputable banks, Lendio and their partners were quick to lock in SBA approvals for loans they were unprepared to process and fund. Worse, small businesses were held hostage as Lendio/Ready Capital held the SBA approval preventing businesses from applying elsewhere. One month after I applied, my company has still not been funded and I continue to receive worthless blast emails informing me to expect funds in 5 - 10 days. Peers using other lenders have already received funds for Round 2 approvals and I'm still receiving a 5-10 day window on my Round 1 approval. I hope there will be appropriate sanctions by the SBA for what Lendio and Ready Capital did under the worst of conditions. Too bad there isn't a 'no star' rating.

Update: Lendio, Ready Capital, and Customers Bank have come through. I received my PPP loan on 5/12/20. I even got a call from a Lendio representative last night. For all small business owners out there waiting, have patience, they will come through. The wait is tough but in the end they are great group of companies that really do want to help the small businesses in America. These are the first reviews I have ever posted let alone a follow up update but they deserve a thumbs up for the hard work they are doing to process the 1000's of loans they are trying to process.

    Original Review: May 4, 2020

Updated on 05/05/2020: This is my update to a review I posted on 5/4/20. I received an email this morning from Ready Capital (the lender Lendio set me up with) and it wasn't good news at all. They have now given my PPP loan to Customers Bank. I am speechless. For all of you hardworking Americans out there please avoid Ready Capital, Lendio, and any other lenders that have a relationship with them. They are a scam. I'm sure they have funded a few businesses across the country but for most of us they threw us away like trash. Thanks Lendio and Ready Capital for cutting our lifelines.

Original Review: I am in the same boat as everyone else. I applied for a PPP loan through Lendio on 4/13/20. The lender that was assigned to me is Ready Capital. I guess I missed out on the first round of funding and figured I would be good for the second round. I was wrong. I have received a total of 10 emails from Lendio and Ready Capital since 4/16/20 that all basically say the same thing. "Your loan is still with us, don't worry." I received my SBA approval # on 4/21/20 via email however it does not match the # Lendio sent me. If you're listening Lendio and Ready Capital, is this a total scam or are you that far behind? There's a lot of us(1000s) that just want the truth. Thank you.

I have a commercial account with Coastal Credit Union and within a week of the CARES Act they said they would need to refer me to Lendio, a "trusted partner". My research showed that they had decent reviews so I submitted an application. The process was straightforward. The portal was well designed and stable. I am aware from their information that they are an online broker who do not make the loans. My application says they have referred my application to a lender as of May 1. I am unsure if my application was ever submitted to the SBA.

I've just found my application was forwarded to BlueVine.com. BlueVine's traditional business is high return receivable factoring. I followed a link in the Lendio application that took me to them and early in the application they wanted my banking statements. BlueVine has several reviews that are less than satisfactory and the most troubling is the claim by their customers they use sign-on information given to verify an account as a portal to further review banking information without customer approval.

I've decided not to place a loan with BlueVine and would like to be referred elsewhere. I have no way to contact Lendio of which I am aware. I realize the sheer volume of applications make this process overwhelming but my experience is less than satisfactory. I am a small business affected by the crisis and feel a bit let down presently.

Then, I got another email congress was adding additional funds, make sure my documents were in order bla bla bla. However, this time I logged in it had said my application was only sixty percent completed. Confused, I filled out the small green form at the bottom of the page to have someone contact me about this. Within maybe ten minutes a gentleman named Cody ** called me. He informed me that everything was okay and that I should not concern myself with what I saw. He also informed me that I should upload an additional form for faster processing. I was amazed as he sat on the phone with me while I downloaded my tax returns and helped me through the entire process of uploading a single file to my account.

My misfortune to connect with this ill-reputable company, cost me the SBA's PPP forgivable loan, which would have reimbursed me for all the payroll and associated costs payroll taxes, group heath insurance, etc for my one employee, my wife and myself. Having to close my business due to local and state restrictions of the COVID-19, and continuing to pay my employee. As he has a family and also would not want to lose an employee that works hard, shows up every day, never complains, and is very appreciative.

Lendio stated they matched me up with a lending institution and had submitted my application to them. When the timeframe given had long past, I contacted the lending institution, to attain the status of my application. They had never received it! Attempted to contact Lendio over a dozen times, with no response. Until 10 days later when they stated they matched me up with a lending institution of another name. Which entailed completing a new application and uploading all the documents that Lendio had from my first application.

Received confirmation from that bank, my application was correctly completed, approved and processed, including all required documentation, and being submitted to the SBA for loan approval. Two days later, an email from that same lending institution stating that due to my application being incomplete they could not submit my application to the SBA!!! Contacting them resulted in as many responses as Lendio. ZERO!

The next day, another email from that same bank, stating I needed to upload a document that was already uploaded to them! When clicking on "Sending Documents", as I planned on sending it to them a second time. A pop up stating that any further correspondence, or matters to do with my application, were being handled by yet a third lending institution. Which wanted me to begin to fill out another PPP application from the start and putting my chances of receiving the loan between slim and none!

The blatantly obvious contradicting notifications screams volumes as to the incompetence, or corruptness of Lendio's business practices! After the funds ran out on the first amount allocated for small business, where the majority of the $345 Billion for SMALL businesses went to large businesses, as in the LA Lakers. Who decided to give it back once it was known! Why were they even allowed to participate, let alone be one of the first SMALL businesses to be approved and given $2 Million dollars!! Lendio's CEO delivered a very long presentation on YouTube, how well Lendio was taking care of the true "SMALL" businesses, as the majority of other "middlemen" were not!! It is called the selective application process!

The loan amounts that were the largest sought by SMALL businesses, were approved and paid out first, Due to the fees they get to charge is solely based on the amount of the loan! The larger the loan, the larger the fee! The CEO it appeared was attempting to appear as they were the "angles" of small businesses! When in reality, they were the greedy and had zero compassion for a genuine small business! The greed that is as prevalent in politics, is clearly at hand in this process.

My wife, myself and one employee run a small business. The Stimulus Cares Act was specifically to assist small businesses, and prevent unscrupulous large businesses from using their staff of accountants to worm Million of OUR dollars! Just as the first amount of the small business allocation of funds was gone in the blink of an eye, this round will be similar. With a half of a TRILLION dollars disappearing AGAIN, with a small percentage of the SMALL businesses it was meant for! Due to companies such as Lendio, who do not care about helping small businesses. Their concerns lie with getting as much in fees as possible!

It quickly became apparent that local banks weren't equipped to handle the massive volume of applicants or had the speed required to get approvals before the funds ran dry. The bigger banks didn't want to consume resources to process PPP loans for new customers so many small businesses were stuck with the slower, less equipped smaller banks. Original Review: April 28, 2020

I own an emergency water and fire restoration company in Dallas, TX. We chose Lendio to be our main broker for the PPP Loan program. We applied on April 3rd. Although communication was not the best during the first few weeks I have nothing major to complain about. Over the first few weeks we verified and confirmed our documentation was correct. We were told we might get funded then that we missed the first batch of funding. Here is where things have gone wrong...

We decided last week to also apply several other places, these other places already have us with a lender seeking approval. ZERO contact from our rep at Lendio for over ten days. We have called, texted, and emailed dozens of times. We also got emails from Lendio general that says we are submitted to a lender and will have an approval in 24-48 hours.

Since we had no communication I wanted to check the status so I got into my account and see that our entire application is GONE. So I get in the chat (the only way it seems to get a hold of anybody) and the person at Lendio says we have incomplete docs... Now this morning I get a call saying we need to submit all of the docs again...

This is beyond unacceptable. I was fed false information, my rep won't call me, and I had to get a hold of them by chat. Now we have to resubmit everything? How is it even possible to be on so many different pages after 25 days from the date of our submission? Even as far as sending me confirmation emails that we were assigned a lender and to expect funds?

I fully expect that Lendio addresses this matter today April 28th and gets us with a lender and approved. We will likely be laying off employees this week. I don't blame Lendio directly for not getting approved. I blame them for a blatant mishandling of our application and lack of fiduciary duty to perform the work we hired them to do.

I give Lendio 1 star because I applied for the loan on April 3rd for the PPP, Paycheck Protection Program. They told me that they accepted the application. Three days later, they were telling me updates that they’re just waiting for the money. A week later, they told me, “Oh, can you resubmit your application?” I resubmitted it and then they said, “We got your application. Everything is processing. We’re just waiting for the money.” Money came and money left. And then they asked me again, “Oh, sorry. You are missing more information.” I wonder the information I submitted, they erased and they want me to do it again. I did that again. And I submitted and they said, “Thank you for the update.” And they did the same thing a week later. Three weeks later, they said, “Oh, sorry. You are missing some information that’s why your application didn’t work,” even though I had three or four emails from them saying that they had all my information, everything they need, and if they need anything, somebody would contact me. And somebody didn’t contact. I stayed this whole time. The funds are already gone and still nobody contact me, or what I got a few days ago saying, “Oh, your application is incomplete.” They are the worst company I dealt with. They never ask you for everything you need. I tried to give them everything I had. They asked me for four times and this time telling me, “Yes, we had everything.” And then after everything passed, “Oh, sorry. You’re probably missing some information.” That’s why I’m telling you, don’t deal with this company. They are not as a great company as they sound.

I have filled out and submitted 5 PPP apps for 5 of my clients. They keep getting missing info emails. I don't have anyone to contact. One client sent me an email from a Lendio agent who did not answer his phone and eventually emailed me that everything was all set. Everything is not all set. I don't know what these applications are missing. I have reworked them (all) several times. Will someone at Lendio PLEASE contact me.

Consumer representative Jay reached out to me this evening. He informed me that Lendio is just compiling paperwork for my bank and that it was completed and returned to the bank well before this review. I was not aware of this process. He has gone a step further to try and contact my bank to help solve the mystery of the delay.

    Original Review: April 25, 2020

My bank is using Lendio for application process. Waited a week for them to finally say we are ready to process loan. Now a week later the website says still in processing and not even sent to lender yet. Seeing others post they filed with them after me and had approvals is crazy. No idea what is taking the time to send to lender for approval. Especially when time is of the essence with funds going so quickly.

Lendio is aggressively marketing CARES Act PPP Loans for small business with their underwriter Ready Capital (NYSE:RCP). According to Lendio, our application was accepted for the original CARES ACT PPP loan, they even provided us with the SBA E-Trans/PLP/loan number that Ready Capital had received. Which according to public information, should mean our loan was approved by the SBA, the money was then reserved, and RCP would just need to generate the loan contract for us to review and sign in order to receive the funding.

However, Lendio communicated that the first CARES ACT PPP loan funding ran out and we would have to wait for the additional funding added on 4/25/20. We have received several template emails from Lendio about RCP hiring 200+ people in order assist with PPP loan processing. Further, Lendio claims that they have processed more PPP loans than anyone else (40,000+) to be precise. We attempted several times to contact but RCP and Lendio to provide us confirmation that they indeed received our SBA loan number. Zero replies from RCP or Lendio.

Lendio helped me when my bank failed. Hello my name is Stefanie and I am an owner of a hair salon. My business is set up as an S Corp where I pay myself a paycheck weekly. I submitted my information for the PPP Program on April 3rd (the second day after it was launched) with my local credit union that I am a member at. What I didn’t know, but have later came to understand, is that my credit union was using a third party “Newtek” to process the loan. I was instructed that I would be contacted in 2-3 days, 7 days later I finally had an email. Sweet! It was from the third party company Newtek letting me know they have received my submission and to please keep a look out for an email application that would be sent soon.

I called my local branch every couple of days to check in, where I was reassure they would be in contact with me any day and I’m in line, just be patient. So I was. Only to receive an email on April 15th informing me “Your request is one that will likely not be completed before the initial allocation of funds is exhausted, which is estimated to occur this Thursday or Friday.” So not only was I no longer in line, I lost my “spot” completely. I also was having trouble finding any other bank that I didn’t have an existing account with able to help me. As you can imagine I’m frustrated, scared, worried, and hopeless. I also have tried to file for unemployment, yet no success there. So here I am, a salon owner who is used to making a significant amount of money weekly and everything has been stripped away with no hope in sight.

However my life was about to be changed, and my hope was about to be restored after using Russell ** with Lendio. My friend who successfully was approved with Lendio using Russell ** had referred him to me. Finally I found someone who not only cared but executed. And not only did he execute he did it effectively and efficiently. I was able to quickly fill out the easy online application and turn in my info in one day. The entire process was so easy. I am not the most tech savvy individual but thankfully the easy software allowed me to transfer my documents without a problem. Russell not only cared, he has tirelessly been working to help as many small business owners as possible. I think this is just what people need in times such as this. People who are willing to work hard to help those who are without work.

My only regret is not contacting Russell sooner. Thank you for taking such great care of me and my friend. Also thank you for choosing to work non stop to make sure my family will have money to survive. If you are desperate like me, please contact Russell and get this PPP program applied for so you can help restore a little of the normal that has been taken from us! I have also read the reviews regarding Lendio, sounds like it depends who your funding manager was. Mine was great and also caught that I was shouting myself $8800. I suggest them, despite the poor reviews of other funding managers. Not sure if you can request Russell, but I would try!

I applied for a PPP Loan with Lendio on April 8th. On Friday April 10th I received a phone call from Alex ** and was told they needed two additional documents to complete my application. One hour later I uploaded both of those documents and then sent a follow-up email to Alex to tell him I had done so and to please confirm that was all that was needed.

Monday the 13th I had not heard a single response back. So I sent a second email and left numerous messages on both Alex's voicemail and Lendio. Next day I get an email.... "Good News your loan is ready to be submitted but we need more info" and it proceeded to list the info it needed. Everything in the list was asked during my original loan submission and Alex had confirmed on the 10th they had. So back to the site I go and resubmit. I then proceed to email Alex again with no response and...Finally after I stated I was going to file a BBB and States Attorney Complaint I get a call back from Alex.

I have him verbally verify that yes they have EVERYTHING they need from me on my end for the application. I then ask him if my application will now be submitted to the 300+ SBA lenders they said my app would be submitted to. He states no it won't. My application is still in line in the same place. I ask him again when will it be submitted. He states once a lender becomes available it will be submitted. I ask him to clarify, "What do you mean once one becomes available." Your adverting on your website at the time I originally submitted stated...

"Fill out 1 simple application. There’s no fee or obligation, and it won’t impact your credit."

"Explore small business loan options from 300+ lenders. We’ll help you choose the best one."... - This now states as of today 75+.

"Get the capital you need in as little as 24 hours so you can get back to running your business."

"Multiple lenders. One application. Our streamlined application process and proprietary algorithm match you with loan options from a nationwide network of esteemed lenders."

We’ve helped small business owners like you get over $1.4 billion in loans. Which means we must be doing something right."

Yes $1.4 in loans to all the BIG small business. They are taking all the high dollar loans and getting them funded to collect their commission while the TRUE SMALL business like ours is left in a database somewhere on a server. These are all lies and deceptive marketing. This is criminal at a time small business needs these loans to keep their business from going under. The only part that was accurate was... "Fill out 1 simple application" and that is not even accurate when you take into account I had to submit it now 3 times...

According to Alex they don't have 300+ nor even the 75+ they now marketing to small businesses. They have ZERO.... I am told once a lender becomes available they will submit my application. As of today I have ZERO information as to what is going on with my application. When I pressed ALEX for answers he HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME TODAY. This company is preying on small business in the time of need with false claims and marketing. They started with 300 lenders and an email they send out states they add 10 new ones per day to the list. As of today the site now states 75+... This is an email I received shortly after my application was submitted...

"Good news! SBA-licensed lenders are now funding! We have definitely seen the pace of loan processing increase over the last 24 hours. We have over 300 lenders participating in the PPP program and adding about 10 new lenders per day. Until now, most lenders have been working through the logistics to actually fund their first PPP loan. As the kinks continue to be worked out, speed will dramatically increase. "

That was from an email dated April 9th 2020... Today April 14th their site now states 75+...I guess their scam is starting to catch up to them. How do you go from 300 and adding 10 a day to only 75 in less than a week. And according to ALEX today on the phone they have ZERO to submit my loan to as of today. I guess they realized the fake, false, illegal bait and switch advertising was going to bring criminal charges and lawsuits. This company is the worst of the worst preying on small business at this time of desperate need. They need to be investigated for criminal intention to defraud small business. I have demanded a call from Management and can not get one. I have been hung-up by my loan representative. This company is continuing to prey on small business and needs to be investigated and shut down.

Don't waste your time unless you have a large business or make millions of dollars per year. I have a small online business that I operate from home. I have zero overhead and expenses. I decided to give Lendio a shot and was asked to upload my bank statements from the past 3 months. The bank statements clearly showed over $14,000 per month in revenue/deposits. When my "funding manager" created my profile, my monthly revenue was quoted as $3,499. Either Lendio allows their employees to drink on the job, or their calculator is broken. I sent numerous emails to my "funding manager" inquiring about the misquoted revenue figure. To this day, I have yet to receive a response.

Lendio has a minimum revenue requirement of $8,000 per month. Needless to say I never received any loan offers. Just for kicks I decided to apply directly with some of the lenders that Lendio supposedly represents. I was instantly approved for tens of thousands of dollars in funding with an 8.9% interest rate. Lendio is nothing more than a middle man who gets a commission from each loan they help to facilitate. That means they only care about the large companies who qualify for large loans. Don't waste your time with them unless your goal is to receive zero loan offers and tons of spam emails and robo calls. If you need funding, just apply directly with the lenders and cut out the middle man.

Then I receive an email that I'm approved for $5,000.00. I stated, "Great, what's my rate?" No reply? Then I receive emails from other lenders who wants me to PULL MY CREDIT SCORE, UPLOAD BANK DOCUMENTS just like LENDIO? I thought Lendio gives these lenders ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION they pulled for a decision.

SO THEY ARE USING US TO MAKE A PROFIT ON PRODUCTS THAT WE CAN GO TO ON THE INTERNET AND FIND ON OUR OWN!! Needless to say, Lendio is not the loan officer but your pimp. Waste of time and now they have all your "personal data" in their system. (Social security number, bank routing number). I am a women in business and was contacted by a representative from Lendio a few months ago. I had been interested in a long-term SBA loan for my relatively new business (and still am). He assured me that being a women in business, having high earning potential, and being in a unique business that Lendio could arrange an SBA loan for me. He also recommended a short-term "bridge loan" that would be paid off with the new SBA. The bridge loan was through QuickBridge and was a high-interest loan with weekly payments. When this bridge loan was funded, he told me that he would be referring me for the SBA loan, but he would represent me though the process. I did not hear from him for at least a week and then tried to contact him by phone a few times without success.

I finally called a manager for the company and was told that the representative's employment with Lendio had been terminated. She then referred me to their "SBA person" who was unsuccessful procuring the loan for me. So, I am stuck with this high-interest, high-weekly payment loan with QuickBridge that is very detrimental for my business. My suggestion: Stay away from this scam company! They have essentially written me off without even the courtesy of a phone call or helping me out of this mess.

It was at this point that he accused me of wasting the lender's time. He was real sweet while offering me the bad deals, I'd like to add.

To be frank, I was the one who had the most time invested because the documentation that Lendio asks for is time consuming and cumbersome to gather. But I was the one wasting people's time because I wanted to look over the contract? In summary: Bad offers, expensive capital, unreasonable re-payment terms, rude service. I clearly asked for SBA loan that can be used for an existing business acquisition. The funding manager pretty much led me through multiple non-SBA loan processes that had nothing to do with SBA loan that can be used to purchase a business. Also, the he may even have forwarded some of our private information to a partnering company without my authorization/consent. To cut the long story short, he misled me to believed that we can't get (or it is too difficult) SBA loan to purchase a business by putting us through irrelevant loan process; Eventually convinced us to believe that we do not have much of options left and to go with an alternative loan with high interest/APR rate and an origination fee.

Last week, I learned from one of local banks that we actually do qualify for SBA loan that can be used for business acquisition (and it was easy!). Only difference was the bank required additional information that the Lendio fund manager never asked me to submit- the last 3 years tax returns of the business we are planning to acquire. The bank said the tax information is required to apply for the SBA loan. Why Lendio funding manager never asked for it when I clear said that we are looking for SBA loan to purchase an existing business? That said this lead me to believe that the Lendio fund manager who worked with me clearly did not led me through correct application processes, not only wasted my time but resulted in my financial loss b/c I, now, have to pay off the loan I got through Lendio and apply for the real SBA loan. I am planning to contact Consumer Affairs of state to find out my options, once I fully understand the SBA loan process.

I didn’t complete the application and received several email about the completion of my application, asking me if I was still interested and them needing 3 months of my bank statements etc etc. Clearly I wasn’t interested and didn’t respond. They took the liberty to send my incomplete application to other lenders they’re affiliated with. I get an email from a lender rejecting my loan application. I was puzzled because I had not applied for a loan through this company, Headway Capital, so I called them. They looked up my personal info and said they got it from Lendio.

I called Lendio and first the woman I spoke to tried to deny that they would ever give someone’s info. Then I mentioned Headway Capital so then she first asked if I had filled out an application on Headway’s direct site. I said no, then she says, "Oh well they are one of our lenders." I told her no matter what info Lendio had of mine, I did not complete the application nor give permission for you to send my info to your lenders.

She said that they didn’t need my bank statements to send to lenders and that they could proceed without all of that. I told her that if someone is sending you emails asking g if you’re still interested in a loan, and the other party does not respond nor send you supporting documents, then they’re not interested and your company does not have permission to give out someone’s information. She was rude! We all can’t be making up how rude the customer service is. Be aware of this company!

We are in process of buying out a partner in my business and needed a business loan. I wanted to get an approximate range for what kind of origination costs and interest rates might exist for this type of loan. Nowhere is that information available on their website, nor is there any obvious way I saw to contact someone with this inquiry - before they give you any of that, you're expected to provide comprehensive contact information, your social security number for a credit check, your business tax id, and, the point I decided "enough was enough" was tax documents demonstrating revenue. I didn't want to apply for a loan at that point, I just wanted to get an approximate range to see if I was interested in third party financing at all!

After cutting out of the process, I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised there was some follow up. Over the next two days, however, I received upwards of four calls, four texts, three emails. Wow, guys, take a hint. I got the voicemail, the email, the text. One of each is enough! I still need a loan but on principle I won't deal with a company like this and would advise caution for anyone considering the same.

After going to a lengthy application process and submitting all sensitive business, financial documents from our business, he sent me an email with - a loan (we are looking for a line of credit, he completely ignored our needs, basically he wanted to sell a product where he can make more money) of worth of 10% of what we were looking for and that to at 27% (net - including all fees) annual interest rate.

Remember before filling out line of credit application, I have discussed our needs over the phone with him and I told him that we were not looking for anything more than 6-6.5% interest line of credit. AT that he has agreed and then later he slowly started brainwashing me to accept what he wants to sell. When I chose to talk his boss, he would never get me his boss to talk to and after continuous persuasion for couple of days, finally one guy by the name Parker ** came on the phone and he was no help and not even apologized. Their advertising says they specialize in loans for small businesses that have been in business just over a year and if you have not so great credit. I had multiple discussions with them and was really concerned about their payments and how they control your account. Several times I told them it just felt like it was a scam and how could they take a new business with not so great credit and expect such large payments to be made.

Needless to say they kept calling, texting and emailing me begging me to take this loan. I finally said ok. The first contract I received from them scared me bad. I told them I just couldn’t see doing that to my new business and to void the agreement. They then called me back with a better rate and a tiny bit lower payment and went into more detail as to how it will benefit my small company especially in the future. They would become my go to lender. After much thought and the fact that we truly need this capital money now, I agreed and signed the note. Within a matter of minutes they checked my bank account and had discovered a slight hiccup that was already resolved. Even the salesman working with me said it was and should not be an issue.

NOW, they will not return my calls, they told me for 3 days last week that they had a whole team working on it and they felt the lender needed to overlook it and get it approved. I already signed an agreement. I was told Friday after that I would at least have an answer one way or the other by the end of the day! Lendio is a middleman for loans. When you call and give your info make sure to expect multiple inquiries from the multitudes of people they send your info to and make sure to expect to pay at least 150% interest for a 6 month loan. Connor ** was my point of contact. Saying the man is a snake would be doing an injustice to snakes. This man said anything and everything to attempt to get his commission, with no regard to integrity or honesty. Out of the plethora of blatant lies, here are some that you should be aware of if you dare attempt to talk to this company. "The loan will be in the business name not in yours. It affects the business credit not your individual credit". If you are like me and searching for a business loan, this is a big deal. Building business credit without impacting yours with Lendio isn't possible so don't believe it.

"Everything is good to go. Just need to link your bank account to the lender. As long as you have $500 in your account you will have the money same day." This was interesting as he said pending checks don't count. I was negative in my account and was told to move money around to bring the available balance up to $500. He said "don't worry about it just get the money from anywhere just for the verification and I promise it's a done deal. Then you can move the money right back out." This was again a complete flat out lie. The lender ended up immediately denying the loan citing negative data. Connor was completely familiar with the amount of negative data as he had total viewership and access to all of my account info. He didn't care though. He was yet again saying whatever he could to get his commission.

"I'll check on that and call you right back." If anything looks bleak with the loan, don't expect a callback. Or even the ability to have your phone call answered by Mr. **. You don't look like a prime candidate for commission anymore so you get bumped to the people who don't matter list. In summary my experience was obviously awful. When a man gives his word it should be kept. Just know if you talk to these people their word means nothing. They promise things before they actually know and only care about their commission despite any hardships it causes the consumer.

I gave them a shot but not before I had already gone to 3 other major lenders shopping around which turned out to be a waste of time. Two lenders had one option that truly didn't fit the type of lending I was even looking for. The other bank said "no, sorry you don't fit our exact business loan requirement" and dinged my credit AGAIN! I was happy to find out Lendio doesn't do a hard pull on my credit so If I would have just gone to Lendio first I wouldn't have had 3 hard inquiries already quickly on my credit that dropped my score 15 or so points but Lendio said they have over 75 lenders so that is how they found me the best loans out there.

I also did some of my own research on Lendio and saw they are accredited by the Better Business Bureau and have an A+ rating which in this day and age is not easy so I felt more at ease. But what I truly wanted to get at, was how blown away I was that we still have a company in America with a free service that is truly helping American businesses and has extremely good customer services. The two representatives I spoke with Chase and Jason were some of the most knowledgeable gentlemen that helped me understand the small business loan process much more than any bank could or would for that matter. Jason became an advocate for me in many ways. What Chase in their Client Services did for me in one day took me 3 months out by myself because the banks want so much of my documentation and time and then Jason was still able to secure me better options than all three of the Banks I went to.

My overall experience with Lendio was 100X better than I expected and got the exact funding I needed in 4 days. I will absolutely use them in the future so I don't have to waste time going to lender to lender to lender. They know the entire lending industry and are very passionate about what they do just like I am about my business. I would recommend Lendio to close friends, family, and any business in America looking to work with another fellow American business doing things the right way! Thank you Lendio!

Surprisingly I could not find any reviews on this company, and as many articles and TV commercials as they do I found that shockingly bizarre. They are evidently a very new company. Or an old company who's doing a lot of new advertising. In either case I took a chance knowing better and I wish I had not. All they do is destroy your credit report with numerous inquiries and then offer you a loan at such an absurd loan shark rate it's laughable. I was offered $45,000 for my business, at 125% interest rate, due back in NINE MONTHS, no longer terms available... To add insult to injury, of course they want your checking account information so they can grab their money out.

Stay clear of this company. Like all scams, they sound very professional over the phone and try to convince you they are this huge conglomerate and that you are in safe hands. In fact they are absolutely nothing but a middle man clearing house who sends your application out to a dozen different direct lenders (all of whom pull credit reports and increase the number of inquiries to the point that your score will drop like an anvil out of the sky) and then give YOU the phone number to the company they just sent it out to!!! In other words who needs Lendio?

Worse, the company they tell you to call who they said has approved you, will treat you as if you are a stranger and calling them from scratch out of nowhere. They proceed to take an application over the phone, ask the same questions Lendio did, in short, Lendio has done absolutely nothing, except to hook you and make an incredible amount of money for doing nothing more than an introduction.
