What is WeShipCars?

WeShipCars has more than 30 years of combined industry experience and provides nationwide vehicle shipping services for individuals and businesses. The company specializes in both open and enclosed shipping for a wide range of vehicles. It also offers multiple discount programs aimed at reducing shipping costs without compromising service quality.

How does WeShipCars work?

WeShipCars works by offering free quotes — available online or by phone — for vehicle shipping across the United States. It provides open and enclosed auto transport services with flexible payment options and full insurance coverage.

You can ship one or more vehicles with door-to-door service, tracking and 24/7 support. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Enter your pickup and delivery locations. You don’t need exact addresses to get an accurate quote.
  2. Provide your vehicle details. Enter how many vehicles you’re shipping, whether they’re operable and what year, make and model each one is.
  3. Choose your transport type. Open transport is best for standard vehicles. Enclosed transport offers extra protection for high-value cars.
  4. Pick your preferred pickup date. Choose the best date for pickup, and enter your contact info to get an instant quote. The quote is good for 14 days.
  5. Review your quote. You can pay part of the cost after a carrier is assigned, with the balance due at delivery. You can also choose to pay the full amount upfront after you’re assigned a carrier.
  6. Confirm your booking. Provide payment info, and confirm your booking. You won’t be charged until a carrier is assigned.

WeShipCars provides updates by email and phone throughout the process. You can cancel anytime before a carrier is assigned, but a nonrefundable $199 fee applies.

Drivers inspect your vehicle at pickup and delivery, and full insurance covers the shipment. At delivery, you must pay the carrier in cash, cashier’s check or money order.

If you prefer not to enter your information, call 708-300-0063 or use the online chat feature to get a quote.

We moved from Florida to Chicago and we needed to ship a Jeep Cherokee. We needed to have it transported for about 1,100 miles and after considering four to five companies, he decided to use WeShipCars. They were the cheapest, and their rep, Nick, was the most friendly. I've read online that some companies would give you a price first, then before they take the car off the truck, they'd tell you they want $250 more. And we were very concerned about getting scammed or maybe not even having the car show up. So, I went with Nick, because he really walked me through the process.

He talked a lot about the industry and told me what to look out for, because he knew I was going to be getting other quotes. He was amazing and they should give him a raise. He was very knowledgeable in what he was doing. You could tell he has done it for a while and he was very helpful. I called him twice and he told me that the quote he gave me was good for three days, but that I should get it done pretty quickly because of the oil and the gas situation. Because I had called a long time ago about getting our car shipped, but we had other things to do. We were moving in the new house, so the car was not our priority.

After I talked with Nick, Vladimir, the driver, called me and told me when the car would be here and when he was leaving. He had other cars he had to pick up. I had to reach out most of the time, but when I did, he came back right away or within a day and let me know what was happening. He was a really good guy. He dropped the car off the day before. The shipment took four days and he was a day late because he broke down and he had to get some parts. But we still have to get it plated, so it was no issue for us. The car looked great when it arrived. We haven't driven it around yet, but we just started it for about a half hour because it had been sitting for about six months. It was a pouring rainstorm when Vladimir took it off the truck and I felt bad for him, but he took a picture of every single side of it. I watched him do it and I could tell he was doing that in case somebody said there was damage, and there wasn't.

Anytime anybody needs something like that, I would tell them to go to WeShipCars and not to call anybody else. I looked them up through the Better Business Bureau and made sure I had all my Ps and Qs ready. We paid a little bit more, but it was worth it. They had good stars compared to Navi and some other place. The other place doesn't even have their name on it, so they're just scammers. WeShipCars only charged 150 bucks finder fee, because the 850 went to Vladimir and we got a money order.

WeShipCars didn't stop calling me. They continued to ask if I had any other questions and were happy to share more information. They were very engaging. The transport was within the two to three-day time period that they talked about that the car would be picked up. They delivered the vehicle just as needed, outside of my father-in-law's neighborhood. The drivers can't get into that area. We had another vehicle shipped there previously so we knew to tell WeShip that if they put in the address, it's a country club. The drivers have to go to the main gate, come back and park outside of the main gate. That worked well.

One guy who we could communicate with speaks English. The guy with him, not so much on the communication part. But we navigated through figuring out the right amounts. We forgot about needing to have cash for the final payment during the pickup. We had to get Zelle or a Venmo. Things like that don't go 100% as planned, but everything went about as well as it could. Don't be fooled by lower advertised rates by other carriers. The rates that WeShip talked about were what we paid. The difference in pay is worth the peace of mind to know your product is being taken care of.

I bought a '67 Lincoln Continental on the East Coast and was trying to get it brought out to Arizona. I was on uShip and WeShipCars did the the job that I was trying to get done. They have the best price and everything was smooth. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and picked the car up a little earlier than they said they were anticipating. That was all good to me. It was pretty seamless with the driver. He communicated on when he was going to be there. He showed up a little bit early. He was supposed to meet me in the morning, but he texted me that afternoon and said he could be there around 8:30 that night if I was available, which I was. We unloaded it that night and everything was good. I would recommend them.

The guy picked up the car and dropped it off fine. Everything was smooth. WeShipCars was able to get a driver to come on the same day of as their rep said. We were moving out of state. Other companies guarantee a five-day business window. That's too much uncertainty. WeShipCars can do a very quick turnaround of things. We were going for another transportation company, but they couldn't pick it up within the window they specified. We booked the move last minute because it seems that WeShipCars would be able to pick up the car very fast.

They were friendly. Also, the driver was thorough. He took all the photos to make sure there were no scratches or anything on the car before he moved. And the same guy who dropped it off, was good. He dropped that in front of our house here. He called to ask us to meet at a bigger parking lot because they couldn't get onto our street. He picked a place that's a five-minute drive away. It was manageable. Originally, the pick-up day was on the same day of when we scheduled it. We knew it was a little aggressive because he said he could arrive on the 3rd of July, but the actual drop-off date was the Monday after. We had to text him. He was responsive. We thought we would get a heads up, but we ended up texting him, and he gave us the date and time.

The quote and final pricing were the same. The pricing was transparent. When we booked the first company, they gave us something a little less than WeShipCars gave. But when we booked it, the representative saw that company put a job on the platform, but it gave the driver $800 less than what we pay for, and nobody wanted to take the job. We didn't know about that. The price was okay. It was expected considering it was on a same day pick-up.

I had purchased a car in Michigan, and I needed to get it here to California. I did quite a bit of research in terms of some of the costs involved with shipping a car. Specifically, I needed an enclosed trailer and reading some of the reviews online, I came to the conclusion that WeShipCars had a very fair price. Most importantly, they have some of their own trucks. They told me they could use one of their own trucks to ship the enclosed car to my location.

I was very pleased in regards to their communication. They communicated with me about halfway through the journey of the car to let me know that it was on its way and that it would arrive in approximately a few days. Their pickup and drop-up dates were right on time. In fact, the pickup date was right to the hour, and the drop-off was a day earlier. I met the driver at the drop-off and though I didn't have a bunch of conversation with him, he did his job. The car arrived in very good condition. I've probably shipped at least a dozen cars over my lifetime and these guys were top-notch. I would definitely use WeShipCars again.

Don’t use them, their salespeople make promises that they cannot fulfill, and they don’t communicate with you when things go wrong. We used them to move our car from California to Rhode Island. When talking to their sales rep on the phone, they offered “guaranteed pick-up” on a specific day for a little extra, and we agreed since that was most convenient.

We booked more than two months in advance, and planned our timeline around the supposed guarantee they offered. That day approaches, and we have not heard from them. The day before we call them and are told they will try to get it tomorrow, they haven’t even worked on it yet. On the day, we call several times (they never call us) and are told that there are simply no trucks going where we need to go. We would later find out this was not actually the problem; their employees were just terrible at communicating.

So we need to leave our car with a friend while we move, which we were paying extra to avoid. Several days go by, and the car is still not picked up. In this time, they never give us any updates; we don't get a single call from them. Eventually, we call them, and finally the rep admits the real problem; they messed up and quoted us too low a price! Fuel prices had risen, and no truckers were accepting our job. Instead of telling us this, WeShipCars were just repeatedly lowballing the truckers, hoping someone would take it.

We asked how much more it would be to get up to market price, turns out only $200 more. We agree, and they find a trucker an hour later. We were already spending more than that on extra rental car charges because we had planned on having the car sooner. They cost us hundreds of dollars extra, and made us rearrange our plans at the last minute, and all that could have been avoided if they told us from the beginning that they needed to change the price!

We were moving from Connecticut to North Carolina, so we wanted to call a transporter down. We went online searching and read the reviews. Then, we decided to hire WeShipCars. The pickup went okay but when the vehicle was delivered, there was some damage to it. There were some dings in the very front of the vehicle down by the lowest point on the fender. And it's a Tesla, so there are cameras. But for some reason, there were no pictures of anything when the car was being moved. The driver didn't own up to it and he had my card to be able to do whatever he needed to do in the Tesla, which could mean deleting pictures, surveillance pictures. So I didn't really have a leg to stand on.

Other than that, I'd do it again with WeShipCars. The cost of shipping the car from Connecticut to North Carolina seemed fairly reasonable. But if anybody is considering using their service, I would advise that if they have the opportunity to be there when the car is picked up, be there. What happens with these cars with the larger transports is, they're constantly pulling the cars on and off. So if a car that's upfront or on top have to get unloaded, all the cars underneath it have to get unloaded first.

A friend of mine had used WeShipCars and did most of the arrangement when I used them as well. However, I was surprised by how little I could put in the vehicle. My friends did something similar with other companies and they were able to put a good amount of stuff in their vehicle. The driver with WeShipCars asked me to take out most of what I had put in there. He said there was a weight limit, which if he exceeded, then he would have to pay a fine.

I also had an issue when we were receiving the vehicle. I got a very short notice and I wasn't here at the moment. It was my friend who was going to receive it for me and on that short notice, it was hard for him to be available so it caused quite a bit of scrambling. If we could have gotten even just a few hours of notice, that would have been very helpful. But I just I just got a call saying that the driver was gonna be there in 44 minutes. After that, he was going to drive it back and we would have to pay for that as well. That part was not pleasant.

Once I selected one of the offers, I paid the fee required by WeShipCars, and then they gave me a rebate portion as a refund. It was a good experience. They have good customer service. Usually, a variety of companies can bid for your transport, and you can see their offers instead of one company that gives you one offer or one price, and then they list it as a broker, and it's your luck to get a driver or not. With WeShipCars, sometimes I get offers from drivers themselves rather than brokers. So far, they're doing good. My delivery was $450 and WeShipCars took almost 10%. So if I have a longer route and it is a more expensive offer, then it's going to be a bigger price. But overall, I recommend WeShipCars.

It wasn't much, but that did something. And it was good to work with him. He sent the guy out to pick up the car. And midway through the transport, I had a change in plans. I wouldn't have anybody to receive the call, so I called him up. I asked, "Could you drop the car off at this location?” He said, "Yeah. Sure. No problem.” It was a smooth transition. The guy that did the job was from Georgia in Eastern Europe. He did a killer job. I can understand what he was saying. The communication wasn't excellent, but he did everything we needed to get done. And we had a perfect understanding.

Once there was a question about when the driver was dropping the car off, he couldn't start the car up, so he called his office. The guy in the office called me. We had a three-way conversation with an interpreter. But the car got started up. He moved it. Everything worked like a champ. It was open transport, so my car didn't look like the way it left. WeShipCars gave me a reasonable price, so I went with them. I've shipped in the past and what I paid this time was cheaper than what I paid last time. It was also a good experience for me.

When you call WeShipCars, they take your information, then they try to find a driver within the timeframe that you give them that you want your vehicle shipped, and they try to match them as close as possible. It was also a good experience for me. They also give you an ETA of when the driver's supposed to get in contact with you. One of them was on time while the other one went a little bit after the timeframe given, but it wasn’t uncomfortably after. The cars were delivered in good condition and the second transport got here earlier than the time they said it would take. If I have to ship another vehicle out, I would use WeShipCars again. They provided what I needed in a timeframe that I needed it. And they did what they said they would do.

I've used WeShipCars several times before. I haven't had any problems on anything. Everything's good on my recent experience. They delivered the vehicle in a snowstorm, but it was good.

I posted a listing on uShip then WeShipCars made a bid on it and I accepted the offer. Their customer service was excellent and the driver was nice at the end, but the communication with him wasn't that good. He wanted me to get a forklift to unload my car, and I asked why when we could just roll it down. He said no and to not waste his time. But I reminded him that I was paying for the service. I told him that I was not going to get a forklift, so he should just come here and I would unload my vehicle. And that was what I did. Aside from that, the price wasn't the best, but I know it's expensive getting the service now because of the gas prices.

I used WeShipCars before and it was a good service. They communicated with me. So I used them again when I purchased an auction vehicle. I had shipped two vehicles through them. One was from West Virginia and one was from somewhere in North Carolina. I was happy with the timeframe for both. Also, both quotes were good. They were accurate. There's an open area in front of where I live, and they just dropped them off there. There was no damage to the vehicles.

My son was moving from Chicago to Georgia. We used WeShipCars to transport his motorcycle. I did the research. I went to the Better Business Bureau and I was looking for something local in Chicago. WeShipCars did a good job. We were surprised. They said they only have closed transport available. It worked out well. I would recommend WeShipCars. The price seemed reasonable.

We had WeShipCars move our vehicle from Maryland to Washington. They were middle of the line price-wise, but they gave a 10% military discount and everyone had great things to say about them. They had a lot of good reviews. The customer service representatives were good. They're younger and they prefer a text,. I'm 30, but I feel like texting for me is weird, but it's 10 out of 10 for them responding and being on top of everything. They like to text us and I feel that's very sketchy, but they did a great job. Everybody was so sweet. I loved my driver. He was very accommodating. He did the long-haul drive. He was so kind and I was in a fluster because I was moving across the country in one and a half weeks with an 18-month-old. He did a wonderful job.

WeShipCars was good and I would recommend them. We used them to ship my son's Honda when he went to college in California. The customer service representative was pretty good too. Everything went so smoothly and the price was fair as well.

Great shippers! I've used them at least 50 times with ZERO ISSUES, quick-dependable- on time pickups and ON TIME deliveries..and best part is the COMMUNICATIONS. :) And always 25-30% UNDER all the other carriers out there.. I've recommended them to countess others that have had bad experiences shipping cars and motorcycles with others.

I needed a C-class Mercedes vintage car fixed in Los Angeles and brought back to me. It was about 800 miles in total. I used WeShipCars and the experience was good. It made more sense because they are from the offices in Vegas, that I would have a better time with people like that as opposed to somebody outsourced. Their rep was friendly and easygoing. The whole selling point was that they were in Vegas.

My car was in good condition when they got it over there and when I got it back. Working with WeShipCars was at a decent price. I liked the promptness of, "Hey, I need my car shipped in a couple of days." They shipped my car when I needed it to be at my mechanic's place at a certain day because he only has the days off on the weekend. The whole process was really good. WeShipCars pretty much did it on the spot.

I'd give WeShipCars an A+ rating. They have such good ratings and they were fast and responsive. Their representative was better than I expected. He did a fantastic job. The only thing is they're using drivers that can't even read, much less understand the English language. I was trying to pay the driver and say it was delivered. He touched my phone and hit cancel because he couldn't read it. He was so excited because he could see the payment number. They need to have an app so they could read whatever language on their own. Other than that, he got here quickly. There were no problems on my car.

I don't like that WeShipCars won't give you a locked-in time for pickup. This wasn't just about WeShip, but all of the companies. When I was trying to book it, it gave me a range of a pickup week and pickup week with a consecutive days gapped in between. I noticed that and thought that was really weird. So during the bid, if you locked it down a little tighter in that window, whoever was faster was getting the bid if it was close to the same amount. If WeShipCars came back and said, "I've got somebody that can be there either one calendar day or two calendar days locked," instead of giving me a five-day span or seven-day span for pickup, you'd definitely get more bids.

When I was moving an old classic car that was sitting on a farm from Pennsylvania to Texas, WeShipCars had a low price. I planned it ahead, three months in advance. As the time came up, I had some questions so I reached out and they knew exactly who I was. They knew exactly the car, where it was coming from and where it was going, and they gave me very specific instructions. They spoke personally about the driver and when he was gonna show up. I called them again the next day because I had further questions about what can be in the car or if anything can. That was a Sunday and they fielded my call and told me everything I needed. I was extremely impressed with them.

They promised to be at the pick up area at a certain point. They quoted me 7:00 in the morning on a particular day and they showed up 15 minutes early to that time. I expected it to be a half a day late. When the vehicle arrived, it was better than when I gave it to the driver. He washed it for me because he didn't like how dirty it was being that it was sitting in a barn forever. I had shipped a vehicle once and it was questionable and shady. But WeShipCars restored my faith in the process. They're extremely professional, fast, and very courteous. Using their online tool was pretty painless as well. I would recommend WeShipCars, and I already have. I had a friend that was looking to ship a vehicle and I gave them this company's number.

I've been using WeShipCars for over 10 years and it seems less of a bidding process with them unlike with others where it seems a lot of the bids are being just generated. With WeShipCards, it wasn't as much of an auction process. I used them again recently when I was relocating a vehicle, and my experience has been very positive. When the vehicle arrived, it was in excellent condition other than road dirt on it, which is to be expected.
