2018 Q50r400.. The first and only time (so far) I had to use 66 warranty was when my AC went out.. Took it to Infiniti Dealer and they pretty much took care of the paperwork process with 66.. I did have to pay "out of pocket" for the diagnostics of the problem is why I gave 4 stars and not 5..

So far so poor. Route 66 was sold via my credit union as a comprehensive plan that would cover my low-mileage vehicle as if new. This is not true! As there is an undocumented necessity for a recall on coolant temp gauge by GM. The full cost is mine to pay. Not happy why did I buy this plan if it covers nothing! A quick search of the internet before bringing my car in for the needed repair the web said it would be covered. Obviously not!

When I purchased my 2018 Ford F 150. I was sold the extended warranty and was told it is bumper to bumper with no exceptions. I took my truck in and now they say they will not cover any warranty that needed fixed. They do not cover warranty and they do not cover warranties that have sensors in The gas tanks. This has been very displeasing and was told there were no exceptions. I would not suggest any warranty thru Route 66 due to the falsehood of the advertisement of what coverage is said to be compared to what is actually covered.

I bought the extended warranty for a jeep overland... My car had issues maybe a month after I got the warranty.... My rear differential went out.... They refused to fix.... 5000$ later... A year after that my parking brake lights and check engine lights came on ... Brought to shop. My wheels have sensors in them that needed replacement... Again they refused to cover repairs!! I will never purchase another warranty from these people. They pick and choose what they will cover or not!! I felt like it was a 2000$ scam ... I got roadside assistance thru my car insurance. I think that's the only thing I didn't have to pay for.

I purchased the Route 66 (MAINSTREET) extended warranty through my credit union that also financed my 2020 Palisade Limited. I took my vehicle for a routine oil change and my shop advised me of oil leaking from oil filter housing and gasket, as well as the passenger side axle and boot. I called and verified my coverage and they said they would over the items (no deductible), and my shop called for the claim. Long story short, they covered about $800 of the $1,000 of the total bill. (Never knew gaskets would be covered.) They paid their portion of the bill the same day the claim was initiated. I can't say anything negative as of now about my warranty through Route 66 and my experience thus far.

Do not purchase this warranty. I had highest package available and they refused to pay anything. We will cover this but not that. Ended up being engine only but we won’t cover it because that’s a Chevrolet problem. Chevy covered 90 percent 66 wouldn’t cover rest of 1200.00 balance. Truck was one day out of Chevy warranty. Why would you buy this coverage? That’s what it is for to cover stuff out of warranty. They were rude and unhelpful. Make sure of the trap if one part that they cover fails and causes engine failure they won’t cover engine. For example injectors fail and they cover new injectors but injector failure ruins engine. They won’t cover engine? Still waiting on prorated refund.

Please be very careful when doing business with this Enterprise, my bad luck is that my ENT CREDIT UNION sold me this extended coverage on my Jeep. Long story short my jeep got contaminated fuel mixed with diesel (unfortunate event in Colorado at many gas stations). I towed my jeep to Autonation Jeep, I called my insurance STATE FARM which by the way amazing enterprise!! They paid for everything that was related to fuel contamination. Leaving me additional bill of almost 10k. Reason state farm denied because additional work whole bunch was not contamination related.

NOW this extended warranty should cover and I looked at my agreement, they are saying fuel contamination....Route 66 warranty mafia if additional work was related to fuel contamination then my awesome state farm would take care of!!! Also Circle K executives how do you sleep at night knowing your business caused so much financial pain and your so called hotline is on regular schedule!!!!

I have been without my vehicle for over two weeks because Route 66 Warranty/Auto Services Company Inc. cannot manage basic logistics. My claim (**) was authorized for a rebuilt transmission, but the company has now 'lost' two separate shipments. The first unit vanished in transit. The second unit was supposedly delivered today but was sent to the wrong business because the driver 'couldn't locate' a major AAMCO franchise in Boise. My claims adjuster, Justin, has been unable to provide a resolution other than 'ordering another one' and waiting.

They refuse to authorize a locally sourced unit that the shop has on the shelf, choosing instead to save a few dollars while I incur hundreds of dollars in rental car fees and loss of use. They are hiding behind a $200 rental cap that their own incompetence has exhausted. If you are considering a Route 66 plan, be warned: their 'nationwide coverage' is only as good as their shipping vendors, and currently, those vendors are failing. I have filed a formal notice of intent to involve the Idaho Department of Insurance. Avoid this company if you actually need your car fixed in a reasonable timeframe.

Scam!! Do not waste your money on this warranty!! I have a Lexus and the engine light came on so I took it to the dealership and they said it needs a transmission. With a Lexus if a component goes out they can’t just fix one part. They have to replace the whole Transmission. So when Lexus sent the codes it pulls to Route 66 they came in with their loopholes and denied the claim. Said that’s a part, not a transmission even though Lexus said that’s not how it works with their engineering!! It’s been a battle, and they will not budge. What a waste of money! The whole point of buying this warranty is to have coverage if something goes wrong!! I will do everything I can to save someone from wasting their money with this company!! I just got off the phone with a company called Route 66 which is an extended warranty company. I spoke with a very rude man their name Jay. He told me that they will not cover pre existing conditions to my vehicle. There was no pre-existing condition. I just put my vehicle in the shop and we found out today through the mechanic. What is wrong with it? But my warranty company Route 66 is refusing to pay to get it repaired.

The shop mechanic stated it wasn't pre-existing. There's no way for anybody to know that the lifter (which is what is wrong with our vehicle) was the problem. They found out the problem during our coverage. The people at Route 66 are ready to argue and deny coverage quickly, even before we find out what is wrong with a vehicle. They are rude, condescending, they lie and they steal your money. They do not honor the contract and they do not keep their word!!!! They take your money and then they do whatever it takes to not pay the repair bill. This company is a enemy to good hard working consumers and their contract and brochures that say you can rest easy with their warranty is a joke!!! Good people please don't purchase warranties with Route 66. THEY ARE SCAMMERS and they are trained to LIE and refuse claims!

The control unit had to be replaced. The dealer gave me the original part. I took it home only to find the unit had no bulbs and the lights I was seeing came from the circuit board that controls the HVAC system. Since the HVAC system still worked Route 66 would not honor the claim. I am out $324.59.

I currently have Route 66, purchased through credit union auto financing. I have used them twice and I have not had a negative experience per se. I bought my used vehicle November 2022. May 2023 my car overheated while travelling. Went to a local shop and was told that I had lost over 1/2 of my coolant. Shop topped me off (no charge) and I carefully made my way back to Tallahassee, FL. Had car towed to dealership and it was back and forth between the dealership and Route 66 to finally Route 66 agreed to cover the engine replacement (not after me having to submit maintenance records). I ended up paying roughly $2100 and Route 66 paid the rest. Fast forward to August 2025, my car starts skipping really bad. Took it to the dealership and I was told I needed the torque converter replaced. Dealership called Route 66 and they (Route 66) only paid about $1700 and I had to cover $2100 balance.

I was told by advisor that Route 66 says that dollar amount is what was left on the coverage or something because he thought that was pretty low as well. I was initially told by Route 66 that they cover parts and labor, which I was fine with but really did not know there is a "limit" as that is not explained by the credit union nor Route 66. The Rental coverage is a hard punch to the gut. I was told today (10/16/2025) that the only cover rental based on the amount of shop hours. Was told that my claim was 11 hours and he could round up to 12 hours and that would have been about $150.00.

I had to rent a car from September 6, 2025 and returned on October 4, 2025. Now this was due to the dealership and not Route 66. So, I ended up spending $1100 for a rental and to only be offered $150 was a major gut punch and I declined. So, am currently looking into another warranty that has the information of coverages and limitations spelled out like the auto insurance companies do.

I purchased the extended warranty with Route 66 from my credit union back in June or July of 2024. I took my vehicle to the dealer for an oil change and was advised my car needed $2800.00 worth of additional work. My car apparently needed the front-end tie rods replaced, the transmission pan needed to be resealed, the front-end brake caliper was leaking, and the replacement of transmission oil cooler. I informed the person handling my car that I had the extended warranty and provided the information needed to start a claim. Well, the tech calls me back and informs me that none of the work needed for my car is covered because it was a "in-shop" find.

So, unless my car breaks down and I'm stranded on the side of the road, none of the work will be covered because it was detected during a routine maintenance check. The extended warranty is a complete waste of money if it doesn't cover anything considered an "in shop" find. I am about to cancel the service and pray that I can at least get some of my money refunded. A very upset and dissatisfied customer!!!

I bought the best warranty Route 66 offered. I was told it was bumper to bumper including the drive train. On a trip in early 2025 going down I-95 in Georgia, in our Nissan Murano the motor suddenly stopped. It was very cold and we had no idea what happed but the car would not start. It took Route 66 over 4 hours but eventually we were towed to a Nissan dealer. A long and difficult story made short follows: The radiator had blown which leaked out the antifreeze which overheated by engine thus warping the block. There are no overheating lights on the car, only a small gauge at the bottom. According to Nissan the motor was destroyed and needed replacement. After the damage info and claim was sent to the Route 66 rep he became extremely rude and raising his voice saying that I need to listen better.

I later spoke with another, friendlier person who said they would only cover and replace the radiator. The motor is not covered because I had not kept antifreeze in the motor! So understand their logic, the warranty will cover the radiator that blew a hole and lost the antifreeze however the resulting lack of antifreeze that overheated and destroyed engine is not covered because I didn't keep the engine full of antifreeze as required. This makes it sound like a lack of maintenance caused the problem not the cascading damage to the engine as a result of a blown radiator.

There is actually a sentence in the contract that says is the damage to the motor caused by a lack of antifreeze, (or oil, etc.) it is not covered. That sure protects them from claims no matter the initial cause. Think about road debris damaging your oil pan and leaking oil. No oil, no claim! If you are considering this company I would advise you to run, not walk away quickly. After paying over $2,000 for warranty I had to pay out over $7,500 for the engine replacement. I have so much distain and distrust for this company.

Purchase this warranty through my credit union when I purchased my 18 Chevy Traverse. Within 30 days, my car needed a rearend replaced. I called Route 66 to verify if it was covered and ask what repair shop I needed to bring it to. They said Pep Boys. I asked if going to the Chevy dealer was ok and they said yes. The dealership told me that Route 66 would only cover a used part and the dealership would not install used parts. Route 66 account manager was rude and told me that the contract clearly states they have the right to pick "new, used, or aftermarket parts" and to find a different repair shop. With that statement, it makes me wonder when would they ever pick a new part.

I called Pepboys and a few other shops for service but they too wouldn't install used parts or want to deal with Route 66. I called Route 66 and asked if they could suggest other repair shop but the manager refused because that would hold them liable if the used part failed from their suggested shop. I asked to cancel my account and give me a refund. He didn't care and transferred me to their cancelation dept. I was told I would need to contact my bank to cancel, which took about 2 months to cancel. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FALL FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANIES!

This is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I got my extended warranty on a 2015 Kia through my credit union, so I figured it would be substantial. Wrong. I had the car 1 yr almost to the day and then my engine failed. After some research we found that Kia has recalled the engine on the year before and after, as well as the other engine model for my year, but not my specific model. I tried pursuing a goodwill replacement through them, but we all know how that goes. So I turned to my extended warranty. Keep in mind this happened in April 2025, it is now August 2025 and I still do not have my vehicle. It took them 2 months to approve HALF of the cost of repairs, even though the engine is listed explicitly in my coverage agreement.

The customer service rep I spoke with (Kate) pulled some BS reason as to why they wouldn't approve the work, refused to transfer me to a supervisor, and literally yelled at me several times. We finally got through to her supervisor Derrick after sitting on hold for over an hour and he approved only half of the cost of repairs. Fast forward to now, the shop has completed the repairs and is just waiting on payment and the company now is refusing to pay them. They "need more confirmation that the repairs are complete", but the shop has sent in everything they asked for 3 times with zero response. They are effectively holding my vehicle hostage, potentially leaving me with a 10k total bill if they continue to refuse to pay. I would rather drive no coverage than deal with these rude scammers ever again.
