We were relocated from central Florida to Washington state. When DAS arrived at our home to pick up our vehicles they gave us an arrival date in Washington. Also that included a date that was to be the very last day of guaranteed arrival and tracking number. This company took our vehicles and went dark. The movers who had a harder job than this company, because they were shipping our whole house, every item we owned across country got to our location as promised and early. We waited and waited and tried to track our vehicles with no luck. No one was helpful on the phone at this company. We had to threaten to call the authorities after our vehicles were not able to be located after two weeks. This cost us big time money in rental car fees.

This company working out of the east coast even tried to blame a hurricane that was 3 to 4 days out headed for Florida but never touched the west coast of the state. They could have certainly picked up the cars and got out, but that would mean someone had to be in charge and actually using their brain. It was all bull, as I returned to Florida while my car was still missing and 90 percent of the state was unscathed. Here's an idea DAS, if there is a storm headed for the east coast, make your pickups earlier. That would only make sense. It was all lies and we had to get many people involved to find our vehicles and get them on DAS relentlessly to get our cars delivered. Upon delivery they had some rude kid dropping off, acting like he did not have an extra 15 minutes to wait for my husband to arrive after work, as I had to leave town and they were the ones who could not keep a schedule.

But at drop off the kid had to give out attitude because he had to wait 15 minutes for us, how would he like to wait 15 days with no contact? This is what you can expect with people who do these jobs that have no education and no respect because they do not even have respect for themselves. The one good thing I can add and I should not because it is expected, is this person did unload the cars correctly. But you guessed it, the cars were cosmetically damaged, but of course it will take a zillion years and a fight to the death to get reimbursed for damage, even though they know they damaged the vehicle because the scratches the vehicle had were not present upon pick up and they even admitted they were not present and not documented.

Oh one more thing, they stole all my extra change out of my ashtray I forgot about which added up to maybe 2 bucks, how desperate, and I left unknowingly a tool that if you ended up trapped in water, retention pond, or anything the tool cut my seatbelt and had a tap on it to shatter my window so I would live in case of disaster. They did not think I would notice, but they stole it. So to sum it up, unreliable, disrespectful, ungrateful, untrustworthy. Take your business elsewhere.

I have never had experienced such poor customer service. They take your money when they pick up the car, tell you that your car will arrive with 7-10 days. When you call to find out status, who can't get anyone on the phone. The representative who was always available from the time the paperwork was started suddenly became a ghost. It was 4 weeks and my car was still in CA when it should have been in GA. I finally had to get my Bank involved to reverse the payment charges and I got Auto 1 Transport to deliver the car with 4 days of picking the car up. WARNING! DO NOT, DO NOT use this company.

I have read all of your complaints, especially about not receiving payment for damages to your vehicle caused by DAS. It happened to me and even our Ins company gave up. This is because DAS uses a transport insurance company who deceives everyone into believing they are not responsible. We have the facts. You need to target your complaints to all the people in the Bloomberg profile.

I don't usually write reviews especially bad ones but I can't be silent this time because I don't want others to suffer terrible experience like I did. I used DAS twice in the past in August 2015 from New Jersey to California and again in October 2015 from California to New Jersey. Both occasions the vehicle arrived to destination in less than 2 weeks. I was very satisfied with their service. So I used this time again moving to California from New Jersey without checking the reviews since I trusted them. That was my big mistake and the start of nightmares. My car was picked up on August 4th one day earlier than scheduled date. They are very good at it. Initially when I booked, they gave me ETA of August 22nd. I paid in full after my car was picked up then the ETA changed to August 26th saying that it was calculated 17 days from the time of payment. I received email that my vehicle was waiting to be assigned for the carrier.

Since then I did not hear from them. I moved to California 2 weeks earlier than ETA date of my vehicle. I called 2-3 times a week about my car status of move. They did not answer most of the time since my number was automatically linked to my order number and vehicle information. After ETA of August 26th has passed, the sales agent answered my phone and said that my car status was "escalated" which doesn't mean anything. On September 1st, I received email that my vehicle was assigned to a carrier but no pickup date and ETA. When I called they said that once it is assigned my car will be loaded in 1 -3 days. No information afterwards. I kept calling them almost every day but they didn't say the exact date of loading or ETA to destination. I worried about my car. I can't concentrate in my work, can't sleep at night. I have rented the car for commute to work and they told me that they don't refund or pay for the car rental.

It was not my fault to get to the situation of renting a car. They said that they will give back some compensation depending upon the days late after ETA. I am a returning customer and I was treated that way so can you imagine how would they treat to a new customer? Later after I called they said that my car will be loaded on September 13th. When I called on that day, the car was not picked up and can't say when is the next rescheduled load date. On 15th of September, I told the rep that if my car is not loaded by next Monday, I will cancel the order. I spoke with another car carrier who is willing to help take out my car from the original destination following week and ship it to me. On next Monday when I called the original storage place, someone said that my car was loaded already with the ETA to California on September 23rd. I didn't hear anything on September 23rd and then weekend came.

On following Monday September 26th I called DAS and they did not know where my car is and it hasn't arrived to the destination. Later that day, I received email from DAS that my vehicle arrived to final destination. It took exactly 30 days from original ETA and 7 weeks from the day that my car was picked up from my home 1 week shy of total of 2 months they keep my car in their possession. I want to say that if they take money for the service from the customer they have to fulfill their responsibilities, if not don't do business. How do the employees, management and executives from DAS go to work if they don't have their cars in hand, do they consider about it for their customers?

I called DAS for grievance form and partial refund for compensation and told me that they don't have those forms but they will do partial refund which I doubted. Their service is very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unacceptable. I will not use DAS again anymore and I urge people to stay away from DAS and if you have no choice, drive your own vehicle cross country. I learned good lesson and paid the big prize using DAS without checking the reviews.

I bought a car from an Arkansas dealer last year, and the dealer there arranged to have it shipped to my home, in Nevada. For whatever reason, the dealer decided to use DAS. A few weeks past DAS's estimated date of the car's arrival, I received an email with a photo from DAS showing that DAS had damaged the car during shipment. After another several weeks, the car was delivered. I then had a body shop email a repair estimate to DAS per DAS's request. DAS responded that I would receive payment for the damages within 30 business days. It has now been more than one year, and DAS has not remunerated me the $1,200 for the damage. At first, DAS explained that their new accounting software was delaying payment. Now, however, DAS doesn't even respond to my emails and phone calls.

Had our jeep shipped from Denver to New York. The company picked up my car on Aug 19 and said we would have our car delivered to NY around Sept 2nd. That was not the case. Thankfully we did get our car on September 7th and with it being Labor Day weekend on the 5th we pretty much considered it only being 2 days past due. (We were only counting business days.) Our biggest problem with them is that once they got hold of our car we could not reach anyone from DAS to update the car's status or answer any questions or concerns we may have had. We called and left messages daily. We were beginning to think we got robbed! Thankfully we used an outside company that recommended us to DAS and they answered all our calls and helped ease our minds that our car was safe and would eventually get home to us. Very unprofessional of DAS and would probably not use them again for that reason.

I was forced to move my car with DAS as they are a sub-contract company for my moving company. They delivered my car with a dead battery and refused the cost of a battery replacement. They said that their contract does not cover any interior/mechanical of the car. So you can receive your car with everything good outside but with interior damage. Good luck with you if you choose this company.

I really did research before I chose an auto shipper to ship my car from Massachusetts to Texas. DAS was not the cheapest and it came highly recommended, so I went with them. They picked up my car on July 26, 2016, and it was not delivered to me until August 31, 2016. They had sent an email that my car would be at my local terminal by August 25, but when I called, every day after that, they could not tell me where my car was. Customer service just said, "The driver didn't check in." No one could even tell me where my car was! I was put on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes each time I called. I just now tried to call to report a dent in my car that wasn't there before, and I could not get through.

I tried twice yesterday, too, but I don't have this much time to wait on hold. One customer service agent was very snippy with me when I wanted to ensure that my car would be delivered to my home. "That's what you paid for, isn't it??" she said. I would not recommend this company at all. Their customer service is non-existent and their integrity is questionable. Do not use this company.

Retired from the military and had to move from Washington St. to Virginia. Chose this company to ship my vehicle based off of recommendation of one person. Should have done my homework!! Made reservation for drop off of the car 1 month prior to dropping off. Paid my money before dropping off as required. Dropped off car and started driving across country. 5 days after dropping off car I get an email saying the car hasn't left yet and hasn't been assigned to a carrier. Got to Virginia and 10 days after dropping off car I call and automated service tells me "your vehicle shipment is late". That's all that was said! I could figure that out.

I wait 35 minutes on hold to talk to customer service only to rudely be told that they can't even project when a transport vehicle will be assigned for my vehicle. Also told me that my case isn't bad because others have been waiting a lot longer than me. Asked how they were going to help me since my wife and I have to work and her car is lost in the abyss and I was told they could only say sorry and all contracts provide an estimated ship date not a guarantee. So now we have no car and they refuse to answer emails, voicemails, or give me a projection of when my car will be shipped.

Sure wish I had read these reviews earlier! I recently purchased a vehicle from the San Diego area and made arrangements with DAS to have it transported to the east coast. My car was dropped off at the Lemon Grove terminal (San Diego area) on 5 Aug with an ETA date from DAS of 18 Aug. The DAS representative did say it was the busy season, so a few days, even a week, seems reasonable to me for possible delays. Especially if DAS were to keep a customer appraised of shipping status. I called on the ETA date, not expecting delivery, but to just get a status with an updated delivery date. I left phone messages three business days in a row with no response, email or phone.

Today, I attempted to reach any live body at DAS, but discovered that their phone systems cleverly recognize the phone number you call from and sends you to the same representative's voice mail each time. Any inputs of your DAS number also sends you to the representative's voice mail. Not too helpful if the representative won't return your calls as it is. I finally used a different phone, did not enter my DAS #, waited for the next available representative who informed me that my vehicle is still in Lemon Grove. The representative's explanation was they were about a week behind (22 Aug - 5 Aug = 1 week behind?) I could not get an updated transport date, nor an ETA and, foolishly or not - I don't know yet, have elected to wait a couple more days.

Anyone who has shipped anything with the Postal Service, UPS, or FEDEX knows tracking systems are not only state-of-the-art, but easily implemented and work very well. How a company that ships large and valuable items can't or hasn't yet implement anything similar is beyond belief. Worse is lack of accountability or customer service follow-up for any delay. One would think it reasonable to notify customers of delays by monitoring estimated delivery dates, and at least be prepared to offer an update. I will update this review if and when the car arrives with amplifying information of actual delivery date, any customer service interaction, and the condition of the car as potentially impacted by transport. Don't recommend using DAS until they improve across the board.

I'm a transporter that deliver 2 vehicles from Miami to Texas and as of today DAS still owes me $1,300 on our payment. It was supposed to be paid within 30 days, waiting over 50 days now and no response to my emails, calls or voice messages. They are a irresponsible fraud company. I spoke to Tayler in dispatch and Cherryl in accounts payable and supposedly they have an issue with their software as what they said in which I don't believe. I would not recommend this company to no one. They are a fraud company and their reviews are horrible. PLEASE READ REVIEWS ON COMPANY BEFORE YOU USE IT, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Fist off I should have read all the reviews before I hired this company to transport a car. I work for one of the biggest companies in the world and I was asked to help facilitate the transport of a car for one of the executives. I called around and was very happy to hear what DAS had to say at the beginning. The paperwork came and they picked up the car on the date they indicated. That is where everything fell apart! The vehicle has never left their holding pin in TX. Its been 14 days since they picked it up and if you can get a hold of someone at their offices (I waited on hold for over 20 minutes the first call, 35 minutes the second call and almost 45 minutes the third call), they have no answers as to why the vehicle is still sitting and not shipped. My shipping due date was yesterday the 16th and it hasn't even left the starting point yet. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with ANY company. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

On June 3rd 2016 I dropped off 2 vehicles at a DAS shipping terminal to be shipped from the West Coast to the East Coast. According to DAS the vehicles were supposed to arrive on 13 June. On 21 June I called DAS to check on the status of my car because it had not been delivered. They said they did not know and they would call me back later that day. Well it just so happened that later that day I received an e-mail telling me that the car had been picked up for delivery (The car, singular - remember that for later in the story).

The following morning 22nd June I called DAS 9:40 am EST. and spoke with someone named Karen and she said the car was picked up and on the way and would arrive by July 1st, almost a month after I initially dropped off my cars to be shipped. I asked Karen what was DAS prepared to do to compensate me and my wife for not having our vehicles delivered in a timely manner? I explained to Karen that we were in a new location without vehicles that we dropped off on 3 June and were supposed to arrive on or around 13 June and as of 21 June it was still at the terminal. Now, we have to wait until 1 July to have a car. What are we supposed to drive in the meantime? Karen said that she couldn't do anything and she was sorry. Sorry is not helping me with the transportation issues caused by DAS so I asked to speak with a supervisor.

Karen transferred me to Mia (a supervisor but I doubt it) and Mia said the same thing Karen said, she was sorry and there was nothing she could do but I could file a grievance after I receive my vehicles and request a partial refund. After I got off the phone with Mia, allegedly the supervisor, I decided that I needed to call the West Coast myself because I didn't trust DAS, Karen, or Mia. I called the terminal on the West Coast and they told me that one car was picked up but the other car is still at the terminal? WHAT!!! ARE YOU KIDDING? DAS waited until I called on the 21st of June to pick up my cars and they only picked up one of them.

Wow, I'm glad I called the terminal myself because its obvious DAS has already been paid and they don't care. It doesn't matter if the other car at the terminal was my car. The point is the car was dropped off on 3 June and on 22 June it is still at the terminal. No car should sit at a terminal that long. I call DAS back and Mia, allegedly the supervisor, answers the phone. I tell her that my second car is still at the terminal, to which she replies: "You have two cars? I didn't know?" I responded to her asking her; "why wouldn't you pick up both cars?" Again, she said she didn't know I had two cars? I replied "it doesn't matter. The car was dropped off on 3 June. It shouldn't still be at the terminal on 22 June no matter whom the car belongs to." I'm retired Military and Ive shipped cars for over 20 years but Ive never had a bad experience until I used DAS. I will never use DAS again.

I have used DAS for at least ten years. More expensive, but I liked the convenience of delivery and pick up from a terminal, rather than the call from a driver saying he was 15 minutes from your house (even I ALWAYS ask for at least a day's notice). Noticed subtle changes in DAS earlier this year when shipping procedures began to change. Went with DAS in July, had problems getting my car booked, which should have been a clue. Finally processed order online. I had car delivered to terminal myself, then DAS charged me for shipping and said it was set up. No more contact. I left several voice mails and emails to find out what the status was over the next several weeks, still no contact.

Then I searched for reviews and saw what was going on. Called company where car was stored and said I was removing vehicle. They gave me a little bit of hassle saying they had a bill of lading etc from DAS and would have to call them. I assured them they would not get a hold of DAS. The next day I let them know I was filing a fraud complaint with the FBI and I had the option of including them, coming out to demand my car in person, or they could release the car to the person who had dropped it off, which was the person I purchased car from. They then agreed to release to person I purchased it from as long as they brought a copy of the title, as long as I paid $180.00 storage.

I wanted my car and so I paid it along with another $200 to have car picked up by owner (he had to hire a tow company as he no longer had a trailer). So for $380 I got my car back, which is a lot better than those of you who do not even know where your car is. It is too bad DAS was sold and it ends up this way. Every phone number for DAS goes to the same voicemail for Bernie **. His LinkedIn profile shows he quit working for DAS in July and now has a new business on his own. Again FILE AN FBI INTERNET FRAUD COMPLAINT! IF WE ALL DO THEN MAYBE DAS WILL GET SHUT DOWN AND SOME WILL GET THEIR CARS BACK! Not all will be as lucky as I was.

My mom dropped her car off in Sacramento July 28th 2016 to bring transported to Tampa Florida. She flew instead of driving due to health reasons and thought it would be faster and less stressful to simply have her car transported. Boy we were so wrong! This company is awful! Here it is August 15th and she is still waiting for her car. She keeps calling only to be asked to leave a voice mail for a representative. She called the drop-off location 2 weeks ago and they said her car was almost to Tampa. Yeah, they lied. She called today where she dropped off her car and it's still in the lot waiting for transport. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Apparently from what I read they being boycotted from independent contractors for non-payment of services. Whatever you do, please don't use these guys. If you are a AAA member, they will recommend these guys. AAA didn't know this company was a bunch of douchebags, but they do now.

DAS has been the worst experience in working as a car hauler. They hire external companies to move cars, and they are not paying us. This is why customers' cars are delayed since we as carriers do not want to take any loads they have available. Same as I am reading from customers, it seems that they just ignore our calls and emails. Please do not trust them at all.

DO NOT SHIP WITH DAS AUTO SHIPPERS!! My family and I relocated down to GA from NY. We needed to ship our AWD 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium so our relocation company used DAS Auto Shippers to take care of this. Everything went according to plan until we took delivery our vehicle. After inspecting and signing for the vehicle we went to take it out for a drive. Thus is when the nightmare begins. We turn the corner and hear grinding and clunking coming from the rear of the vehicle - sound like when you try and drive a 4x4 on dry pavement. So we took it straight to the Ford dealer and emailed DAS. First question out of the dealers mouth was "Has this vehicle been towed?" The only way this happens is either there are 2 different size tires which there are not or the vehicle was towed with 2 wheels on the ground.

Got a rental car and started the claim process with DAS. First thing once DAS knew where I was going said "It's our policy not to tow vehicles." So after 2 weeks of their review they denied the claim stating that they do not cover mechanical damage and they called all the contractors that had possession of the vehicle along the route and none of them towed the vehicle. So at this point we are out $2771.46!

DAS is a fraudulent company run by dishonest people and it is going out business!!! They lure people by low quotes, have a local towing company haul your car to a local open-air storage and dump your car there. They do not return your calls and it is impossible to find out what is going on. Their contract says 14* days shipping (ETA) but your cars sits for 30-40 days. Once they get your car, they start contracting independent movers to move your car, but the movers refuse to work with them because DAS underpays them. In fact, most independent movers have dumped DAS and would not touch them.

In the meantime, you continue with your frustration trying to get hold of DAS. Good luck with that. The movers they might some day hire to haul your car are not licensed and not insured to do long distance hauling. You can imagine the impact on your finances when you are forced to continue with your rental while waiting for your car and the condition of your car when and (if) it arrives to your location 40 days after the contract date. DAS management believes and 30-40 days delivery past the contract date is "industry normal" and negative customer reviews are just "noise". It would not catch up with them and they will continue with their fraudulent business practices. It is high time someone slapped them with a class action lawsuit for all the pain they caused to gullible customers and movers. STAY AWAY FROM dependable "NON-SHIPPERS"!!!

I paid for two vehicles to ship from Texas to New York. It was supposed to arrive within two weeks but didn't arrive until a month later. During the time I'm awaiting for my vehicle to arrive they lost status of where they were. Lied several times on the delivery day along with the exact location. They fail to return phone calls and will not provide answers to reach a manager or corporate office. They will give an extension number but don't have a number to dial to use the extension so it is useless. They will give you a local floor manager and keep switching you back and forth and say there is nothing they can do. My vehicle was freshly painted and spotless and upon receipt it had various damages. I tried to write the damages on my claim form at receipt and the driver stated that I can't write in on the form my damages, that I have to take it up with DAS.

He stated that the form is only for receipt. Ooh the vehicle and that the damages are marked prior to departing and anything new (in my case the vehicle looked and was in a mint condition). My vehicle was dropped off in mid April and I received it late night on May 31st. I submitted my claim the same day and the manager told me to take my vehicle to a repair facility of my choice and have it inspected and submit my claim. I did this the next morning with my local dealership. The vehicle was inspected and I submitted my claim for the damages. They conducted their research and determined that they are not liable because I signed the receipt stating no damages and I received the vehicle. Although they have proof of no damages and spoke to the driver who provided the necessary information as well and they still fail to acknowledge claim of the damages.

I took pictures the same day of the driver and equipment along with my vehicle and they still deny all responsibility. This is the worst company ever and I strongly encourage you to get another shipper. I used this company because I have shipped with them prior and never had issues. I even referred a friend that dropped his vehicle off at the same time as I did. His vehicle remained on the lot for over a month and they keep saying it was in a carrier and on the way. We went to the lot and the vehicle was still there and they made up lies about the status and finally acknowledged and had it put on a carrier. It took nearly two month for him to receive the vehicle. This company should regroup and start from scratch. Another issue is once you begin calling to check your status you will always be on hold for at least an hour because they are porting your number back to a switch board.

I have a corporate number and it takes me back to a switch board. Even a number to my claims manager that was a direct number now reverts me back to a switch board and all representative said "we are having issues with our lines." This had been the issue since April. Surely that isn't this case. I'm trying to save others the time and waste of money. It's expensive and had the worst service and customer service. Please get another company.

After being reassured that this company was not like the others, I stupidly agreed to let them ship my car. Well that was almost a month ago and I still have no update on my car. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone, you will constantly wait on hold, or go to a rep's voicemail that will never return your calls. At this point, I have no option but to take legal action. They refuse to talk to anyone, after they have taken you car and your money. HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Who knows what shape my car will be in, IF and WHEN I even get my car.

I am a car hauler. I just wanted other consumers who are seeking answers about their vehicles to hear the truth about DAS. They used to be a good company that seems mismanaged now. They stopped paying drivers so drivers are refusing to haul their loads due to hundreds of non-payments. How DAS operates is that after you pay them, a truck picks up your vehicle and takes its to their closest terminal. Then they post the load on a dispatch site where we look for our loads. Hundreds of drivers have not been paid and we all refuse to run their loads.

They do have some company drivers. So this is why some people receive their vehicles while two months later others are waiting for their vehicles. I have read terrible reviews about damage to vehicles from shipments. Let me reassure you, most companies will pay for damage claims, and most transports go without damage. My husband and I run Semper Fi Services which is our own truck hauling vehicles. Rarely is there ever damage and if ever any we always pay promptly. I apologize for what y'all have been through and wanted to give some insight and light to the situation. Be blessed and best of luck to y'all.

I moved from CA to NY and this is the first time I have shipped a car. Was referred to DAS by Allied Van Lines so I thought it was a legit company. I was supposed to receive my car on 7/25 and it is now August 5th. I have a 4-month-old baby with no car to transport us around our new town. DAS is not picking up or returning any phone calls. Most calls get redirected to some guy named Bernie who never returns phone calls. I am so furious with this company. DO NOT USE THEM!!! I only hope I get my car. I am thinking of taking legal action at this point.

DO NOT USE DAS to ship your automobile!!! They took my car 5 weeks ago. When I showed up to pick up my car, it was not there!!! It's been a week, they will not answer my phone messages. The representative that had been assigned to me will not answer his voicemail. I have no clue as to where my car is. None!!! I even tried being on hold. Over 3 hours, just finally hung up on me, cause they closed!!! This is illegal and I have to involve the police!! Stay away from them at all costs!

I shipped my Monte Carlo from Florida to Oklahoma on June 28, 2016 with an no later than delivery date of July 11, 2016, since I am scheduled to leave the US on military orders soon. It is now August 1, 2016 and I still do not have my car!! I have emailed and called repeatedly to no avail! I am beyond upset and angry. No one will return my call regarding the whereabouts of my vehicle! AS STATED IN A PREVIOUS POST BY ANOTHER ANGRY CONSUMER, I REPEAT "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"!! This is my first and last time using this fraudulent company. ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBER - IF you plan on using this company please save your time and money! I have already made the mistake for you.

We moved from Upstate NY to California. Our cars (2 cars) were dropped at the Seneca Falls auto station for pick up on June 25th and the ETA given to us on was July 12th. It's been more than 10 days since the ETA which is fine. BUT the cars haven't even been picked up from the location they were dropped at. The customer service department is extremely inefficient when you call them. They seem not concerned and the only answer we seem to get is 'there are no updates.'

Every single day that I have been calling, after a very long wait this is the only answer I get; whether it is a representative or the manager. Absolutely incompetent and horrendous experience. Not even worth the one star. They don't understand the inconvenience involved and that we have been renting cars waiting for our cars to come but guess what the cars have not even been picked up? For them the easy, irresponsible answer is "find another service." Please, please don't trust these people. We have been aghast... and frustrated.

This company is a complete joke. They left my car sitting in a lot for 3 weeks and never even assigned a truck for it to be picked up. They offer no late compensation, and basically they would charge you the full amount for delivering a car 3 years later. Customer service does not answer, and sales rep (Janis) seems to be the only one in the company seeing that if you call the main number listed on their site, it goes straight to her VM. There are thousands of these companies out there, so if you're considering shipping a car, make sure to pick from all the others and count DAS out!

We moved from Las Vegas, NV to Orlando, FL and we signed a door to door contract with this un-dependable company... Unfortunately!!! We didn't check the reviews, too busy with the moving. They picked the car on June 20, 2016, and was supposed to be delivered between July 1 and July 5, 2016. The company was paid in full the day of the pickup! By the end of June, we called the company and they told us our car was in Georgia. But it never arrived! We are on July 18, 2016 and we still have no news of our car. We spent hours on the phone to listen to the same answer, that the car is in Georgia and they had no solution planned for delivery. The automatic answer machine always says our car is late and is not currently scheduled to be delivered. When we asked to talked to a manager, we've been redirected to a voicemail. Then our phone was marked and every time we got the voicemail. Even, a customer representative hang up on the phone.

The agent that sold us the shipping said he is not working with them anymore, after 25 years of collaboration, because at the many issues he encountered. We have literally nobody to talk seriously about our car, so we are obliged to file a report at the Police because nobody is giving us any answer. We are spending a lot of time and money for rental cars, and we have no idea if they are going to refund us all these expenses!!! Please, stay away from this company, for your sake!!!

I shipped my car from Maryland to Seattle, Washington on June 15. The sale rep told me that my car could arrive on July 1, which is a reasonable transit time from coast to coast. However, after they had my money, they just disappeared. On July 5, I used their "intelligent" phone system (because neither my sales rep nor customer service answered my phone calls) and was told my car was still in Maryland. Then I started to call their "customer service" every day. On July 13, they finally picked up my phone call and told me they do not have a schedule for my car, which means they held my car for a month and did nothing.

I requested to cancel my order, and they still charge me for the terminal fee... I don't know what to say... I asked my friend in Maryland to pick up my car from the terminal, and "the terminal is full of unshipped cars from DAS" according to my friend. Since I still need my car in Seattle, I did some research (I regret I didn't do it for DAS) and chose another company. Guess what, they charge less than DAS. I read all the recent reviews for DAS on this website, it seems like DAS used to be a good company. I feel sorry for all the employees in that company. So, unless you want your car to disappear, STAY AWAY FROM DAS!

I booked a move from NYC to Orange County on June 10 2016 with sales rep Tyler **. The car was picked up June 24 2016, and was slated for delivery July 8 2016. My phone calls are automatically screened to a voice mail box by Tyler ** which is not answered. After getting a Google voice phone number, I was able to reach someone after 2 weeks of calling nearly daily, and holding for about 20 minutes. The agent simply said my car was delayed and hadn't left NJ yet. It has been 3 weeks - I am not sure why it is taking so long to ship a car and I am not even sure it will be completed.

I moved with DAS in 2013 with no issues; something is different about this experience altogether - lack of customer care and negligent, nearly fraudulent business practices with inability to deliver their service which has been paid for in full on time. There needs to be a class-action lawsuit to bring this company to heel. Just looking through all the recent reviews in the last 6 months on ** alone, it is like a disaster zone.
