John did a great job answering questions and clarified falls detection and neck device wearing at night or nap times. Good tips to hang up and not lay down. Very professional, friendly and helpful for me and my family for usage.
Tried to setup unit, had problems, called Tech support. Tech determined base was incompatible with wireless modem. He verified that ATT 4g might work in our untested area. Was nice enough to ship new base unit free. Was very pleased with his service.

I just received the alarm system I ordered for my dad today. My call was to go over how to set up and use the equipment. I spoke with John who was awesome. He answered all my questions and walked me through the testing process.
I was very satisfied with interactions with the phone representative, John. He was very helpful, friendly and concise with instructions. He made sure I understood everything before we concluded the call. The hold time initially to connect was quite lengthy. I have had lengthy hold times in the past. The representatives are always very helpful once you connect.
The Technical assistant who helped me was very good. I did try to get on several times, but wait problems and recorded messages were not helpful. It was difficult to get ahold of a person--and this is what medical assistant alarms should make easy. But my assistant was wonderful and he alone saved the account.
I received an email from Bay Medical stating that my Mom’s back up battery in her unit was depleted. I called Bay Medical today inquiring about this because her power was only out for an hour so I was concerned that the back up battery was depleted so quickly. The customer service rep did a great job and promptly ordered her a new replacement unit and gave thorough instructions on what to do. Excellent customer service!

The customer service representative, John, was very professional, courteous and friendly. I had finally got my mother to wear the Bay Medical GPS device. While I am happy with the tracker application but wanted to have my sister-in-law have the use of the application as well since lives closer to my mother. The question I had about the use of the application and whether simultaneous login is allowed. The answer is yes.
The service was great for my Father. Gave us as a family peace of mind. We only discontinued service as we had to move him to a memory care facility. Bay Alarm Medical was easy to work with and was reasonably priced. My Father was prone to falls so the alarm worked to get him help fast. Thank you.

I would like to commend a customer service representative with the name Zack. He was very polite and professional with an old frustrated man. I can say that the company in Utah and Idaho are excellent, but getting to Bay Alarm is terrible, they transfer to Bay Alarm and sometimes disconnected after waiting with no human contact. Today I tried again, your answering service was prompt and even took my # if we were disconnected. Today I got an answer at Bay Alarm and after 9 minutes I was informed I was 14 in line. After 30 minutes Zack answered and was very patient with an old frustrated customer, I don’t know what happens when the connection is not completed.; In the past nothing or someone finally calls back, not real responsive!
Spoke with John and Celia today to set up our new system. Very good customer support! Super friendly to mom and helpful. Hopefully we never have to use our new set up, but it seems as though we are in good hands.

Zack was my customer service rep. He was very helpful in explaining how to set up the lock box and then to call cust service to let them know I had it set up and where it was located. He also noticed that the emergency info was not entered into the system yet. Took my first contact and entered the info. He also suggested I test the neck alarm to make sure it was working. Alexis was extremely patient, kind and helpful in helping my mother understand the problem she was having with the lockbox. Although this took a good bit of time and repeated instructions Alexis was not flustered. She exhibited the ultimate customer service behavior. I deeply appreciate her help and her kindness.
I had several issues getting Carol **'s new medical alert system properly programmed, both with the landline base and the GPS option. Three or four pleasant and informative phone calls with head office tech support staff helped me get everything working properly. So far we are very pleased with the service. My assistance was wonderful. I found out that the equipment I returned was received by Bay Alarm and she credited my account right then which was extra and very appreciated. Very good to deal with, friendly and helpful. Operators were patience with my sister of 78. System functioned as expected. My sister fell a couple of times and could't get up or answer Bay Alarms call so the fire department were called to assist her. Great peace of mind knowing there was help at a click of a button.
John in the technician department was very helpful with our situation. We were trying to work out several solutions to help my Mom remove the buttons in her home without activating it. Jon was very patient during the entire phone call (one hour!) to stay on the phone while giving specific and clear instructions throughout the process. I had questions about my mother's necklace device, it had been accidentally triggered. I love this system. I've only had it a few weeks but it is everything I was looking for (fall detection and GPS). Those who answer the calls are very courteous, kind and patient. Luckily we did not have to use it for an emergency, but the system is excellent, the setup and customer support was great as well. No complaints at all. I recommend and would use their service again if needed. We were able to get the numbers from which they would be calling people on the contact list so that we would know to answer it vs thinking it was spam. They were very accommodating.
The whole process was super simple and the representative was so helpful. Set up when the equipment arrived was very easy..The alarm was accidentally set off once and because she is hearing impaired, Bay Alarm could not verify it was not an accident 911 was dispatched. They arrived quickly and found everything to be ok. It is an affordable way to have peace of mind for a loved one.

Experienced an electrical surge throughout my house from the phone company's attempt to repair outside wires. The Bay Alarm base unit was did not work after the surge. Bay Alarm agreed to replace the base unit at no cost as long as I agreed to pay the additional warranty cost of $5/month. I am very satisfied with this accommodation.

Purchased for an elderly (90+) friend alone in third floor apartment with no elevator. Very easy, user friendly service and set up. Unit arrived earlier than notified. I called in because my mom's wrist band for her button would not stay latched and kept falling off. This was a replacement band that we had ordered. You are sending us out a new button and band so that we will feel comfortable and safe.

Ordered for my father. Arrived on time and set up of device was easy but tracking app kinda confusing. Got online help to set up just took time. Institutions could use clarification on more online info from user account page.
Fortunately, I only needed their help twice in a couple of years, and they were very helpful, professional and fast. But just knowing their services were on the job 24-hours per day, with never any downtime, was comforting to me and my family. I now have 24-hour live-in help and no longer need the service. But if something should change, I wouldn't hesitate to avail myself of it again, and would be happy to recommend Bay Alarm Medical to anyone looking for this type of help.
Correcting address. Working to set up a new service for my mother, Jenniffer and customer service was wonderful, correcting information in the account. She was patient, thorough, and took all the time needed to get the information correct.
I just had the pleasure of a conversation with Customer Service regarding returning the older unit that we've had since 2012. I already have the new one. There was a situation I was having trouble with and she walked me through it and solved my problem completely. This is a good company to deal with if you need a medical alarm system.
Person was very good and took care of our problem promptly and easily. She ran through all the steps needed to get our system operational and then stayed on the line while a test was run. Everything is working smoothly.

Received the system today and followed directions to test base unit. Spoke to Bay Alarm person and advised it was a test. Ambulance, unfortunately, was summoned anyway and showed up at our house. Called back and spoke to Bay Alarm person who had me test the necklace button so that Bay Alarm could monitor. Worked fine. Glad the system worked but wish ambulance would not have been summoned with the initial test.

I recently discovered that the battery on my neck monitor was low. I called and spoke with customer service rep (sorry, I didn't get her name) who was very pleasant and extremely helpful. I've never had a bad experience when talking with the staff whether it's to test the battery or to ask a question. I would highly recommend Bay Medical to my friends and family. Jennifer explained how it worked. She took names of friends to contact. She helped me decide where to put lockbox. She was friendly, competent, helpful, nice, knowledgeable. The representative was extremely helpful since I had fallen 2 times that day already so she was willing to take my info over the phone and get my alarm set up and tested. She explained everything and was extremely patient w me.
I received a low battery warning for my dad's medical alert machine, and was very concerned. I called your number, which was given in the original voicemail message, and was delighted with the competent person who helped me. She checked on my dad's system and told me that it was the main unit that had showed a problem, but that it now was working fine. Had he experienced a brief power outage? Yes, he had. She also explained that the battery life of both the main unit and wrist button are monitored, so I would be notified well in advance when a new wrist unit was needed. This is a great relief to me, and I was thrilled with the kindness and competence of your employee as she explained this aspect of your system to me. Thank you!

Whether in customer service (Keyonna) or the technical support team....Unit is very easy to install (landline), and the monthly fee is surprisingly affordable!
The Bay Alarm provided a sense of security for both the family member for whom it was being used by and the rest of our family. Customer Service was good and the product worked well. We have discontinued the service because the person using the device is moving to a full time care facility which provides an emergency alert service for residents within the units' rental fee.

Called to get a new stretchy wrist band and at first was told it would be $12.95 plus $12.00 shipping. Since I declined, as this is a ripoff, the rep told me they can waive the shipping charge. I agreed to this but hope Bay Alarm Medical will consider treating elderly people better than this - $12.00 for mailing a wrist band, really?? The $12.95 is more than enough to cover cost plus a small profit.
Your agent Alexis went well beyond excellence in her help to myself and my daughter in the installation and activation of my unit. Her guidance and patience during a long process deserves my highest praise. I shall recommend your company in the future.
The representative was great in helping me with my in-home landline unit it had a scratchy microphone when I was testing it, and the call didn’t go through correctly, and the rescue was called and came to my house. So the rep reset the unit and then had me make two test calls to make sure it worked properly. It did. He also made sure my cell phone number was added to my account. He was great. Thank you!

Called Tech Support regarding telephone line problems (dropping off). Technician Deeana (sp) was most courteous and professional. She stepped through a series of checks I could perform, then she ran a series of technical checks from her station. Thankfully, all checks verified the base unit was functioning properly. This eliminated the base unit as a possible cause of the phone line problem. Deeana further advised that if the problem reoccurs, I should call Bay Alarm for a replacement unit to ensure the base unit was functional and not the cause of the phone line problems. Very thorough and considerate. Very pleased with the experience.

Cancelled service for dad due to him moving locations. Staff was friendly and most helpful. The panic device was making noise after it was disconnected and the person helped me to push the proper buttons to totally disarm and silence the unit. Courteous & intelligent. I ordered the Bay Alarm Medical Alert system for my mom in December 2019. The packaging was great and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. It took about a minute to set up and then we tested the system with great response. The next day, I completed the paperwork and forms for any first responders— who to contact, how to get into the house, etc. I decided to mail my paperwork with instructions to the Bay Medical team and first responders instead of faxing or emailing.
The Bay Alarm Medical paperwork was clear that until they received the instructions from me, they had no liability in taking action on any calls. Unfortunately, my mom fell within a couple days of connection, she pressed her neck device and was too far away to hear a representative on the speaker. The response agent didn’t have my instructions and still called 911 for an ambulance and my mom was taken to the emergency room. I was highly impressed with the system and the process and have already recommended it to an elderly neighbor and to my friends and family on social media. Thank you for what you do!

John was excellent and provided me with all the information that I needed. He was friendly and courteous and was able to assist me with me all my questions and concerns. That's all I have to say on this subject for now.
Really excellent device, reliable, easy to use. I live far away, so I wasn't able to go to my friend and set it up for her myself, but the box was easy for her to plug in and wear when she got it in the mail. I was able to subscribe remotely, everywhere I lived, to manage the account on her behalf, even after I moved to Israel, via Skype. The customer service was great. My friend was losing mobility, and had many scary falls, but always wore her button as a necklace, and each time, it summoned some strapping, handsome firemen to rescue her, to get her to the hospital, even in the middle of the night.
Eventually, I had to cancel, as my friend moved to a full care facility that has their own call system. I worried about the expense of buying the equipment as part of my cancellation, as from my home abroad, I could not go to Colorado to return my friend's device by mail. They told me I could leave it there, and my prorated payment return would cover the cost. Not ideal to have to buy it rather than mail it back, but considering my particular long-distance situation, it was a great option to resolve the problem. This device saved my friend from what would have been several traumatizing and dangerous situations, helping her know that she was not alone, and that guardian angels were just a button press away.
The representative who assisted me was very helpful and pleasant. I told him the strap on my watch button was tearing and I needed a new one. He told me my equipment was outdated and ordered me new equipment. He instructed me that when I get the new equipment to call and someone would help me get it set up and tested. It was an unstressfull experience.
I called customer service about missing an additional vial of life that was purchased. I spoke to Karina and she very helpful. She is sending the missing vial of life to us priority mail. Karina was very professional, apologetic about the vial of life missing from the order and a pleasure to work with. Thank you!

We were disappointed to find out that our modem was incompatible with your device and were not informed of this when we placed our order. It will now cost us $10 more per month unless our Verizon provider can install another modem that is compatible, which I’m in the process of checking now. This is delaying use of the device. Otherwise we are pleased.

I highly recommend Bay Alarm. Every time my mom pressed her button they answered within seconds. Never had any problems! They were quick to get help to her when she needed it. They also contacted me right away even when her button was pressed by accident.
When testing the system on the second floor of my unit, I could barely hear and couldn't understand what was being said. Also I could not be heard by the company. I was told if the system is activated and I don't respond, they will phone me and if I still don't respon they will send help. I spoke with three different people and all were very pleasant and helpful.
If you are looking for a medical alert system, Bay Alarm Medical provides wonderful service. My mother wore the bracelet and pushed the button for help. 911 was contacted and help was sent immediately. They noticed the family members and we always knew mom was safe.
Unit worked as promised! It is a dependable unit and inexpensive. But, patient refused to utilize it. Felix at Bay Medical was very helpful with instructions in disconnecting the unit and telling me what to do after. I would use this company again.
We received a medical alert for my mother in May. As of today, November 11, 2019 she got a warning that her battery was low. When I called the company, the first agent stated it was at Point 1 but she did not know if that was the necklace or the base unit. She transferred me to another section and I was told it was her necklace. I asked about a replacement battery and I was informed that the necklace and base unit are factory sealed and cannot be opened by the consumer. However a courtesy necklace would be mailed out to my mother since this is her 1st time but in the future the cost will be $49.99 plus $12 shipping.
I asked the life time of the battery and he said 1 1/2 years. I reminded him my mother only had her equipment for just over 5 months. The agent stated it might have been a defective battery. I told him that I should not have to use my courtesy necklace on a defective piece of equipment so he stated he will send out a necklace to replace the defective one free of charge and I will still have a courtesy necklace if needed in the future. I also asked him why the charge for a replacement necklace and he stated the policy was changed a couple of months ago to charge consumers for replacement necklaces.
I chose Bay Alarm Medical because after researching 8 other companies as they were the least expensive and nothing was mentioned about replacement cost. I asked the agent if customers were grandfathered in and he said no, everyone pays a replacement cost. So in essence, $62 to replace a little component. Not a good way to do business and treat your customers.

The girl I spoke with was helpful, pleasant, and efficient. The wait time being on hold before being able to speak with someone was EXCESSIVE and quite frustrating. It boggles my mind that a company to whom one pays a monthly service fee - as do thousands of others- be subjected to giving up that much time on hold for a 3 minute verbal transaction to insure that my monthly payments were not interrupted.

Getting them on the phone to check billing was a challenge but when on the phone was very helpful and professional. I ask for detailed billing to be send to me and then change my mom's Info so they know the new code.

When I first received my alarm I was told not to leave the unit in the charger for more than 3-4 hours or the battery will go bad. Everything else I have (cell phone, portable phone, tooth brush) stays in the charger forever with no problem. I didn't understand why I couldn't do the same with the alarm device. I called back and was told it wasn't true, I COULD leave the unit in the charger with no time limit without a problem.
Now the battery did go bad, and I'm told it was because I left the unit in the charger too long. 1) You people can't agree on how the thing works among yourselves. 2) How come things like my portable phone stay in the charger all day and night for over ten years and the batteries are still fine? (along with all other devices I have.) What am I supposed to do? Baby-sit the thing while it's charging? When I tried to test the thing I got NO response from Bay Alarm, but I did get the ambulance at my door. (There is a $500 charge for ambulance service.) Why didn't BayAlarm call me on the unit like they are supposed to or call my phone? Not pleased at all!

We got the alarm necklaces and bedside Help button for our 88-year-old mother believing she was just a button push away from help. She fell in the kitchen and fractured her neck. She laid for over two hours pressing the button and there was no response! When I arrived I pressed it another twenty minutes and nothing. What's worse is how they responded to our complaint. On the phone all they would say is, "send it back to us" or they'll keep charging us for it. After that they wouldn't answer emails, texts or letters. They did send a letter threatening more charges if we didn't return it by a certain date, no apology or explanation or offer of at least a refund. If you're entertaining the thought of this type of protection, shop elsewhere! We don't normally complain but our mother's life was at stake here!
Programming instructions for new necklace call button were not correct. The customer service rep walked me through the process to get it working. The rep was very professional and assisted me while being pleasant. The only problem was I waited 2 hours for a callback. The rep explained the reasons why and apologized for the wait to my satisfaction. Great job and his attitude made up for the wait.
The process was very easy and professional. The operator asked a couple times to assure we did not need assistance at that time. We have been very pleased with the service. That’s all I have to say for now, hope that helps.

I received an email regarding a possible problem with my alarm system and a request to call you. I talked with one of one of your employees. She was very helpful. She explained everything thoroughly and sent me me new replacements.
My mother is a 94 y/o woman. She misplaced the wrist alarm. I called to see what needed to be done to obtain another wrist band. The representative was very understanding and advise how to proceed to obtain a new wrist band.
Received message of low battery. Plugged in the charger and it did not work, could not recharge battery. Previously had received message "Your battery is now charging" when I tried to recharge, no problem. Didn't work this time. Called and rep on phone ordered new charger which will be put in mail on Monday and should be received Tuesday. I had alo signed request to remove fall detection, but today when just dropped the unit slightly on bed I received the alert that I had just called for help, when actually it was an accident. So it is still pretty easy for me to accidentally call for help - which would be embarrassing if I were somewhere like in church as the voice that answers is loud. My daughter wants me to have this device although I am not prone to fall easily or frequently. It is good to have it in the event that I would fall and could press the button.

Bay Alarm was excellent. My 95 year old mother had a few occasions when she fell or needed emergency health care and Bay Alarm worked beautifully. Emergency services arrived quickly and the company called me and my sister, as well as the front desk of her independent living home. Installation was easy and customer service always responsive. It was reassuring to know my mother had the support she needed.
Service rep. did a good job but install directions were inaccurate. We worked around them and got the base system to work fine. If the modem does not have separate l1l2 ports, system had to be setup like it is connected to a phone. Answer phone was handled the same way.
I called for technical support for my mobile gps device and was able to leave my number for a call back instead of waiting. I was called back within a few minutes and the representative did a great job of walking me through to solve problem with courtesy and professionalism.
I have two monitors. I misplaced/lost one. I phoned the company and after my description I was told that it was not this one. Gentleman that answered was both clear and kind. I am now going to contact the second company.
We had to close the account to which the bill was being charged. Ezmarelda quickly switched the billing card, switched the responsible party (now me) on the account, and most importantly, she recommended that we run a test on the system. She got that started, and then waited on the line until it was successfully completed.
Our base unit for Joan ** was moved from window location to mid room. It started blinking during the night due to an internal test. I just learned of this process during this tech call. We will test our signal today and move the unit if necessary. Thanks to tech support for the clarification of why and what needs to be done.

I am sorry I don't remember the name of the employee, but the help was given between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm on August 8, 2019. I needed help turning the base unit off so I could return it to Bay Medical. The man who helped me did and excellent job and gets an A+ rating from me.
I called because my Bay Alarm bill is sent to my credit card. I called to relay this information to your representative. The woman I spoke to was very professional and efficient. She was very courteous and the update took only a couple of minutes to address my needs.
There was a problem in the amt owed.. Another representative had given me a different amt, I think I'm finally straightened out as to the amount. It was a real mish marsh!!! I'll just wait till the near of this month (Aug) to see what my Visa bill will be. I thanked her very much for helping me.
Corina did a wonderful job changing my mom's address and phone number. She also brought to my attention the need to update contact persons and add any special instructions. This help was especially helpful as I had totally forgotten about all of that. Now we're all set.
The technician I spoke with was very helpful and went the extra mile. I was very satisfied with his service and assistance. I received texts and phone calls on both my cell and my mom’s direct phone line to alert us of the low battery on her necklace. I called and got efficient service. How to test status of unit for my mother in law. Tech help took only 10 minutes. Easy to understand and very courteous. I did not have to be on hold. John also checked status of battery backup and pendant status. All was very smooth and painless with recommendations for future test and test frequency.
I forget the man's name, but he was super. Was even going to help me install Google Chrome, as Internet Explorer will not allow me to access your website. Very kind and professional. This 40 words business is crap though. So this requirement will have me ending on a negative note. What a shame. He was great but your system is bad.

For once, a great customer service representative! John offered tips and exemplary service with a smile. I had a few issues setting up my system. These issues could be easily addressed with a few additional setup instructions but with a customer service employee like John, it wasn’t a painful experience.

The device is great. My Dad wears it on his belt. The app is problematic and multiple devices can have the app only if you use the initial app account data. So my brothers and sister will get the app and have to enter my data to get it to work. We had Great Call, but their device stopped working and they are no longer selling it. But the Great Call was AWESOME — it was easily to install on multiple devices and, most importantly, provided alerts when my dad hit the alert button. The Bay Alarm app doesn’t provide any notifications when he hits the button to get 911 help.
