I have been using the Bay Alarm Medical alert system for over a year now, and it has been a great experience from start to finish. I decided to get this service to provide extra peace of mind for my daily routine, and the device has proven to be very reliable. The setup process was incredibly straightforward and took very little time to complete. I have contacted their customer support team on a few occasions with questions, and they were always professional, patient, and quick to resolve my concerns. The device itself works exactly as described, giving me confidence that help is available whenever it might be needed. I would highly recommend Bay Alarm Medical to anyone looking for a simple, effective, and dependable medical alert service.

I have some health issues and I'm home alone all day, every day. And Bay Alarm is my only course of action if I should have a heart attack. I thought one of the necklaces could be worn while I’m driving or away from home, although I later realized I had misunderstood that feature. I have a watch where if I put it on, I push a button if I'm having a problem. I wear it every day from the time I get up until I go to bed. It's light, and you learn to not realize it's there. I also have a necklace, and if I fall, it will detect my fall. So far, I'm very happy with it. I really bought it more for my disabled son. He’s intellectually disabled, so he doesn't understand, and it’s more for his well-being than mine. He needs my help. Price-wise, I'm happy with it.

I have the necklace and a box from Bay Alarm. It's easy to use. They come and they're helpful if I fall. I would recommend it to a friend to try it out.

I leave Bay Alarm medical alert by my bed, because I'm assuming that if I need it, it's going to be when I'm in my bedroom. I got it because I'm living alone. I charge it up to keep it working, but I don't test it. I haven't had to use it but I ensure that it's always in working order. Although I have a lot of security systems set up, it makes me feel a little bit more secure.

I got Bay Alarm medical for my mother. She wanted a watch specifically, and she doesn't have an iPhone, so that limits it a lot. We live in Tallahassee, Florida, where there are lots of trees. She has terrible reception at her house. I was told it was because of the trees, but no matter where she goes, she still has bad service. We've tried it several different places. But every time I have called, customer service has been wonderful. They've been very responsive. They've attempted to be helpful, but the reception is terrible. My mother can even hardly understand when she calls them. When we tested it, it worked, but she couldn't understand a word they were saying. I pretty much understood them, but it was garbled. It was like somebody was underwater.

I feel comfortable having Bay Alarm. I was worried about falling and since they are the most reasonable choice among the medical alert companies that I know, I went with them. I wear the device when I'm alone. But when I'm with family, I don't bother because they’re there to help in case anything happens. I had a case where my alarm fell and I didn't realize it. They got in touch with me and before I knew it, my children and the local sheriff's office were all notified to check me down. So, the device works well and it does what it's supposed to do.

I got Bay Alarm for my elderly mother. We have no concerns right now. She tests it once a month. It made us more at ease. We're satisfied with it.

I have COPD, and I live alone. I wanted to have something where I could get emergency services if I needed them. I went with Bay Alarm, and it’s been fine. I don't even know it's there. I haven't had any trouble at all. The only time I take it off is when I go to bed at night or when I take a shower. I test it, about once a month, like it’s asked. And the experience is fine. It works. It just adds a layer of security to me. We can get help if I need it quickly.

My father has fallen a couple of times. And my neighbor, his parents, used Bay Alarm and were very happy with it. We went with it, and he had to use it one time, and the response was fantastic. There was one time when it was accidentally unplugged, and they got hold of us, saying they couldn't get a reading from the device. So we were very happy with the support on that. And the setup was extremely easy to do.
My father wears it around his neck. He's gotten used to it. It has been a peace of mind for the whole family. That way, we know he's not lying on the floor somewhere trying to get to a phone or what have you.
They were also very helpful regarding the pricing. And the tech support and the regular support have been fantastic. They've been right on it. I'm very happy with their service.

My mom is fine with her Bay Alarm Medical. She does a test run every month. She's very comfortable. She doesn't like the bracelet, because her wrists are very bony, and it rubs. However, she does not like that necklace because it's so long. It's way past her belly button. She has trouble with it because she has to wear it under her shirt instead of over it, because it's too long. She said it gets in her way when she's sleeping. I told her to pin it to her nightgown. But I don't know if Bay Alarm made anything shorter. Other than that, we're very secure with it. I would like to find out about what my mother can do to make it better, because she talks about not wearing the necklace, and that would upset me.

I am wearing the bracelet device from Bay Alarm Medical. I haven't really had any problem other than, apparently, twice it decided that it was beeping, and I had people calling me and showing up. Apparently, it was having some problems that particular day. That was taken care of. However, on a very hot weather, the material on the bracelet can make it very sticky on the arm. I do like that it is waterproof otherwise, I'd have to take it off and redo it.

My son researched on Bay Alarm Medical. They came up in top in consumer reports and other places. And the monthly pricing was fair for what I was getting. My alarm seems to function and I haven't had any need to use it. Before I had the alert, I had a serious accident which did great damage to my life. I have this to protect me from ever doing that again. I hope it will save my life if there comes a need to use it.

Our 87-year-old mother lives with us. We were worried she might fall when we were at the store. So, I went on Copilot and AI and asked what was the best medical alert device for this area was, and it came up with Bay Alarm. Their sales team took me right through the steps and how to do it. It was very positive. We feel more comfortable that she has the device here when we're gone. She's accidentally hit it before and they've always been super nice and super positive. So, we had a very good experience with them.

Enrolling with Bay Alarm was very easy. The person we talked to was very helpful. We haven't had to use the alarm, which I'm counting is a good thing, but we had one day where mom fell. I wasn't home. The alarm contacted emergency right away, and it worked. It did what it's supposed to do. Then that night, it sensed the fall. It didn't have a full fall but it sensed the fall. That, to me, was special.
Mom has a button that she wears around her neck. She feels comfortable with it. She knows what the button is for. If I say, “What happens if you fall?”, she'll say, “I'm gonna push my button.” She knows that if she does that, Bay Alarm will call me or call an ambulance. They move on it quickly. We don't use Bay Alarm a lot, but when we've needed it, it's come through.

Bay Alarm saved me one night. My knees were down on me when I was gonna put a piece of wood in the stove. I fell on the stove, and got myself pushed off the stove. I couldn't get up. I finally worked my way over to the table. My button was up there on the table. I finally got it pulled off, called the EMS. I spent about three hours on the floor. I like it. It's good.

I got the information from my brother-in-law about Bay Alarm and I got the service because they wanted me to have it for security. I live alone and I’m 82. I only have it in case something happens and nothing has happened. If I need it, I'll use it. I know how to communicate with Bay Alarm. They set it up and they have my brother-in-law's cellphone number and my sister's home phone and cellphone number.

We purchased the device and the service from Bay Alarm for extra measure of security for my mother. We looked at a couple of different companies and Bay Alarm looked like it had a comprehensive service and it had a competitive price for the service. Our sense of security improved and having it gave a positive impact, but more so for her family knowing that she has an extra measure of security.

So far I am happy with the Alert. But I am extremely disappointed in the company. It says in the instructions and the website that the Accessory Wrist band and button are included. As is the Vial of Life. And No one in the Service and Technical dept knew this. They wanted to charge me $40 +$15 for shipping the Accessory and charge for Vial of Life. It was not until I said I was reporting them to the Arizona AG for fraud that they decided to send, as a one time courtesy! So make sure you get what they say you will. Incompetent.

Zero stars. I was a customer for about three months until today. The system is awful. I could be sitting in a chair reading and for no reason whatsoever the device would suddenly say, "Fall detected." This happened numerous times. It also detected "falls" when I set it on the nightstand before bed. One day, I went to get an article out of a bottom cupboard. The device swung wildly and hit the cupboard door twice really hard. Nothing, no response at all. Today was the last straw. I was out on my driveway and actually slipped and fell. I went down fast. No response, no fall detected, nothing. When you add in that the device is not waterproof and can't be worn in the shower, this system is beyond totally useless. Since I've an email from them stating they do not want the equipment returned, and after I ensure I've my refund, I intend to take this piece of garbage out in the backyard and "Hillary Clinton" it with the biggest mallet I can find.

The guy from Bay Alarm Medical who we talked to was great and helpful. My mom chose the pendant. But she doesn't care for it because it's a rope around her neck, and every time she leans down, it gets in the way of everything. When we bought it, they didn't say that it has to be exposed, because she'd rather have it under her sweater or her blouse. She has it on right now, it looks like a cowbell on her. I wanted her to have something on her wrist, and she wanted something around her neck. I don't know if somebody else had a kind of pendant, and she likes the looks of that, but Bay Alarm didn't have anything like that that would work. So, she has this goofy thing around her neck where it looks like a car remote or a garage door remote and it's bigger than those.
Bay Alarm needs to make a smaller one. Things have improved so much getting smaller and smaller. It's great for a huge person or an old man, but it's not the right thing for a for a petite woman. But I'm glad my mom has it because she lives independently. I just got to keep making sure she wears it, but she doesn't like wearing it because it's ugly. Probably the reason Bay Alarm said, “Don't have it underneath your clothing,” because they want to be sure she can get to it. But I said, “Mom, you still can grab your sweater, your blouse, or press it against your body, it's still gonna work.” I get notifications when the batteries is dying, which is fine. Originally, I didn't want to be involved in it. Later, I said, “It's probably good, because I get the notice, and I call my mom up and go, ‘You want to put it on the charger?’” She would say, “Oh, okay.”

I needed an alarm and my daughter went on site to see which alarm gave the best result in this area. Bay Alarm did and we talked to a fellow and ordered it. I use the device around my neck all the time. I'm old, and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm comfortable. I try to put it on the charger at night, so that I'll be in bed. I haven't had any accidents but every time I have hit it, I get a response. The alarm has changed my sense of security. I feel safer with them. I always make sure that I have it when I go outside.

My dad’s friends use Bay Alarm and when my dad fell, I bought him the medical alert device. The person who set us up was phenomenal and perfect to talk to. I called first before getting my father involved to ask questions, and the rep gave me her direct line. I was able to call her back with my dad and she was able to answer all of his questions. Then, he had somebody he could call if he had issues. He could go anywhere with the device. He goes for coffee three times a week with his friends and he shops by himself because he lives on his own. He is out and about, and the device can work anywhere. We had questions about the battery once and we called Bay Alarm, and the reps got right back to us. The customer service is fantastic and the product is great. The price is comparable or less than what I researched. So, it's good. People should give them a call today.

I had another service, and it was about three times as much money per month. I'm old and I needed to find one that was more in line with my life. My son found Bay Alarm and it was rated number one. They were nice online when I checked it. I've checked the medical alert device once to make sure everything's working, and it is. It's great. I haven't had it that long and haven't had to use it, but it's there. The other device that I had would go off if I looked at it. But this one with Bay Alarm, I have to punch it, so I’m not having them call me every 15 minutes. Also, the price is one I can afford. Bay Alarm is the one I would get if I need a medical alert system.

My experience has been great. There are many systems out there but Bay Alarm Medical came back with the most positive comments from current users. I also went back and did some pricing comparisons. I did several phone calls with the salespersons I talked to. They answered some of my questions, and I moved on and looked at a couple of others and had more questions. I called Bay Alarm's rep back and I got those answers. So through my thorough research, I determined that Bay Alarm Medical was the best for the money.
Right after we got the Bay Alarm, it was put to use. We installed it on a Thursday. We did the test call to make sure it was set up correctly. The following Monday, my mother fell and broke her hip so it was put to good use right away. It has been used twice. It has been very handy. Right after my mother's fall, we did another test to make sure it was working again. Our interaction has been very positive. When my mother pressed the button, you could hear them. They're talking to her, asking her if she wanted help, what type of help she needed, should they contact my sister, who is the main contact, who lives close by, or should they contact 911. They're very responsive. I'm grateful that we had the alarm set up when my mother had her first fall. And when she had her second fall, it double proved itself that it is a good system.

We bought a Bay Alarm because my mom recently had some health issues, and she's 90. We wanted to make sure she had something in case one of us was not around. The reason we went with Bay Alarm was that we had recommendations from current users that we know.
She wears it all the time around her house and carries it with her when she goes out. She can still drive in town, so she still goes, uses it. She likes it. I don't think it's her favorite thing to have. But she has the neck pendant, and it doesn't bother her too much, and she carries the main unit when she's out, attached to her purse. We like having it. That way, we know when the battery is getting low, and we know where she is. It makes us feel much better when we're not with her. My experience with them was easy and it was straightforward. There weren't a lot of hidden charges and costs, where I feel confident that it's doing what it's supposed to do, and it's relatively easy and inconspicuous for my mom to use.

Bay Alarm notifies me if my dad has an issue. It's easy to use for him. He had a couple of experiences where he set it off accidentally. He has one pendant that he wears around his neck, and the other one that looks like a watch. If he's doing his daily chore like brushing his teeth, the pendant will swing and hit the cabinet, and it sets it off. But it is what it is.
