I have a handicap but appreciated shopping at Walnut because there were several benches where I could sit down when I had to. I do no want to use an electic cart because I want to do what walking I can and use the shopping cart as crutches. I called and made a complaint and the manager of the store called and said there was nothing could be done, they were told to remove the benches. I am sure that I am not the only person who relied on the benches in order to sit and the be able to continue shopping.

Sirs, I just returned home from shopping for a Thanksgiving Turkey & associated items from the Griffin, WALMART. I purchased 5 bags of groceries totaling 54.19. All the item were placed in bags by the Cashier that checked me out. Upon leaving the store I was stopped against my will (I am disabled & have a hard time walking/spending extended time on my feet) & asked for my receipt by two young Black women in WALMART's employee. In that all of my items were in bags I didn't think that it was WALMART's policy to receipt check/inventory departing customers for bagged items? The woman demanding my receipt was forceful & rude. I presented her with my receipt and she checked my items & let me pass.

I got the feeling that she stopped me to show off to the other employee standing with her & that the reason I was stopped is because I am White. The reason I feel this way is that I did not see her stop any Black Patrons Departing the store. I am 57 years old, retired military & a disabled veteran. I take offense to being singled out because of my race & think that WALMART has a problem here that needs to be looked into before it legally blows up in WALMART's face. I thought that it was WALMART's policy to only check patrons departing WALMART with items not in bags. I was extremely offended by this tonight & wish that WALMART would look into this because if it happens to me again I am going to obtain a lawyer pursue legal action.

There were significant racial overtones to what transpired here tonight which in the current political enviorment could cause a great deal of negative publicity. Also, I was extremely offended by these actions.

My son went for his second interview. After reviewing his paper work he was told he would need a picture ID for his Drug screen. He doesn't have one. But he was told by Carla that all he had to do was go to DMV and get a photo ID. Walmarts policy is that once you leave the store with the form, you have 24 hours to get it done. He got the form on Veterans Day at 10:15am. Dmv isnt open on holidays. The next am he was at DMV at 8am and after all was said and done he was told his picture ID would be mailed within 2 weeks.

When I called Carla she offered to call Seacoast Redi Care to be sure they were open on Veterans Day. Again not very helpful as DMV was not. But she made an effort. I was told by Carla that there are no exceptions to the rules and good luck to you. On 11/14 I spoke with store manager Yvette who said basically the same things Carla did except she added that it is not there job to know dmv policies for other states. Maine is a bordering state and I believe they should at least be aware that it is not that easy to just get an ID. She basically made it his responsibility to know that it would have taken 2 weeks and to have not taken the form that day.

He is without a job and has no means to support himself. This is the first real job he has applied for outside of working for landscapers and snowplowing. He was a little hesitant at first but he left the second interview with a head held high that he had gotten himself a job.

On October 25, 2008 I purchased two packages of Utility Cloths from the bed and bath section of Walmart. Each package contains 9 utility cloths for 2.98 each package. When I got home, I tore off the tags to wash the cloths before use and the cloths in the middle of the package were filthy dirty with what looked to be oil or dark furniture polish. I threw the soiled cloths away because the odor was overwhelming. Little did I realize that the rest of the cloths had the same odor and were ruined.  I am extremely disappointed that Walmart's quality is being compromised.

The economic result, I am out 5.96 and the physical damage was putting up with that terrible odor.

I bought a box of Good Value Chewy Granola Bars. When I opened the sealed box I found one of the sealed bars had been opened and 1/2 the bar was missing. I would like to find out how and why this has happened. Also, I am very upset by this and wonder if this food has been contaminated. How can I find out what to do?

Have no idea what this can cause.
