My husband went to the automotive dept to have a key made while I picked up my 5 year old birthday and supplies due to a party at 3 pm at Bounce around We only had one key which was the original and the lady at the counter preceded to help my husband we checked out and went to our truck. My husband noted a bur on the orignal key.

As we get into the truck (with 15 min to get to party) the new key was tried and did not work then the orignal key was tried and would not work. Upon further inspection of the orignal key we noticed it had been cut. When returned to automotive with explaination the staff became very defensive. assistant manager Jason was paged at this time with report given explained and asked What could he do to fix this problem.

My husband and I explained it worked when, we drove it here so we need a new engine switch or something we are going to miss our daughter's birthday. Assistant manger went to room and made a call and stated that the locksmith would be here in about 30 or so min. At this time family members came and picked up my children for the birthday party.

Then staff member Wesley and assistant manger in parking lot to truck to view and attempted to try the keys with no results. 1545 locksmith there with report given and stated you can tell where the original key was cut by the machine and the locksmith attempted to cut a new key with no success and had to put in a new engine switch.

My husband has only been home from Iraq a few weeks and is still stationed in fort sill only home for the weekend for the birthday party at bounce around which was from 1500-1630 which cost 170.00 for a private party which my husband missed the whole party due to the mistake of the Durant Walmart.

For starters, my wife is a quadrplegic, who just turned (50) a week ago. Due to her handicap, she is seldom able to venture TOO far from home, in her power wheelchair. Today, my son agreed to travel with her, via the local bus, to the Grand Haven WalMart store (about 12 miles round trip) so she could get a start on her Christmas shopping. Upon completing her shopping and going through checkout, she requested a pack of cigarettes from the cashier. Now I can understand its the stores policy to card EVERYONE they sell cigarettes to, but when the individual is OBVIOUSLY of legal age (50), not to mention the fact that she is incapable of using her hands TOO provide I.D.(did I mention she was a quadraplegic), one would think that rather than drawing unnecessary attention to the situation and absolutely embarassing my wife to death (as the cashier did) she would simply have (1) made an exception to the policy and sold her the cigarettes, or (2) called someone of authority over TOO make the authorization.

Had (I) been there with her, I would have IMMEDIATELY returned all the items (I had just purchased from your store) onto the conveyor belt, and insisted on a refund! If you can't treat your paying customers with anymore dignity and respect than THAT, I'll take my business back to Fred Meijers!!!! As a result, my wife was forced to cross a busy divided highway (US31) and purchase her cigarettes from the Admiral cigarette store WHO, incidently, had enough common sense to be able to identify a person who had exceded the age of 50!!!! As for why my 29yo SON (who was with her and DID have I.D.) did not purchase the cigarettes for her? He tryed, but the cashier then refused to sell them to HIM, because she knew he was buying them for my wife!?!? When you give a person (the cashier) the authority to make THOSE type of decisions and assumptions, your just asking for trouble!!! It is NOT illegal to sell cigarettes to a 50yo without I.D.! Whats illegal is selling cigarettes to anyone under the age of 18! "Common sense" should be a prerequisite in your hiring practices! All that cashier did today, was to make all those other people who were waiting in line BEHIND my wife, lose an awful lot of respect for Sam Wahl and his precious store! Great job! Once the local newspapers get ahold of this story, I suspect sales at Meijers will skyrocket!!!!

at a one day elecronics sale. after standing in line for a laptop, a asst. manager came around to everyone in line, counting us and stopped at the woman behind me, saying that she was the last. when we got up to pay for ours the same asst. manager came back up to the same woman and started asking her a bunch of questions about how long she had been there, that she was going to sell the lap top to another customer that hadnt been in line at all.

i felt she was getting miss treated so i asked for a manager and pulled out cell phone to video tape the event. as soon as i pick up my cell phone and opened it, the asst. manager i was talking to started gettig very angry asking me if i had taped her and that she was calling the cops. she then following me out the store, called the cops, had me treated like trash in front of everyone and banned me from the store. but the woman did get her laptop, thank goodness for she is a elementry school teacher.

the asst. manager took all the attention off of her wrong doing and acted like i was a crimminal, i asked the cops and store manager to review the store video tapes and if i had one, mine also to prove i hadnt done anything wrong, but the store manager nor local city cops wanted to hear my side or other witinesses around us. i do have contact info for the witnesses. also i never recorded anything just opened my cell phone and looked through it.

i spoke to the teacher later, she said she wouldnt have got the laptop if i hadnt done what i did, she thanked me and offered her support for what had happened. and said she would never go back there again! neither will I! made me feel degraded, embarressed, blood persusre shot thru the roof. i felt like i was haven a stroke, talked to me like i was nothing when i hadnt done anything wrong but take up for a school teacher. please what can be done?

This is the 2nd complaint that I'm sending in regards to Wal-Mart in Hohenwald, Tennessee. I'm not for certain all Wal-Mart stores are this poor managed or not. However, I have read some interesting complaints from other individuals concerning Wal-Mart. I am from a rural area in Tennessee which we have limited shopping areas to purchase things so when you hear that I Wal-Mart is coming to your area; of course, our town gets excited. However, with our Wal-Mart it's not an exciting place to go and shop. The management is extremely poor.

First of all, the manager is extremely rude and acts just so confused if I or anyone else in family asks where something is. Reason being---you never can find the same thing that you go and purchase on a monthly basis is there where you last saw. Therefore, when you ask the manager or anyone that works there for that matter has NO CLUE. Concerning the rudeness, you can meet the manager face to face and he will not welcome you into his store or volunteer to help you in anyway. Secondly, the employees there makes you wonder how they got there job whether it is there personality or their ability to help you.

Thirdly, we all know what kind of economy that we are in at this time so coupons are a "hot" item once again. Therefore, we all go through coupons as much as possible. A few weeks ago I used my coupons that I had and not to my surprise AT ALL would some of them not be excepted. I'll admit the readings on the coupons state one thing, but their computer system doesn't recognize it so they do not like to exept them when all the cashier has to do is type in the bar code. However, most coupons that I had on this particular evening would have worked because it didn't specifically state how many items you had to buy.

On this evening, the cashier question every coupon that I had, read, and rubbed each one while stating "did you get that..did you get that....". To not honor the coupons that I had in which some of them would have worked...she did not because that is Wal-Marts rule (I suppose). I was so frustrated because not only did she waste 10 minutes of time rubbing each one the people in line behind me their patience was growing thinner and thinner.

Fourth, an item that I have bought at this Wal-Mart for many many months has just completely vanished from the store and many more items (certain watt light bulbs, charmin w/ aloe, and the list could go on and on) just like this one has too. But...they have a thousands of hangers and things of this nature that I would say--- why so many? Fifth, there are probably about 13 check out lanes and on even given day there are only 3 to 4 open and long lines to wait in. I saw an employee making out with her boyfriend in the clothing department which to me is very inappropriate especially for children to see.

Finally, the employees have not been trained like they should....on any given day you will have to wait for assistance to only find that they do not have a clue and most of the times employees are not in any designated area to help their customers. It's so disheartening to know that a town with very few shopping areas that Wal-Mart can be of any better assistance than they are. I know Sam Walton would be so disappointed.

I encourage for inspectors to come and inspect this Wal-Mart, but don't let them be aware and just observe the manager, the employees, and the disgruntled shoppers. I wouldn't announce my inspection because if they are notified believe me that will put on a show....because I have overheard that from the manager and employees first hand. I believe The citizens of Hohenwald would surely agree that our Wal-Mart could do a much better job. I know I do.

WALMART'S sent e-mail offering a 1000 dollar gift certificate. The deal was to try a trial offer free a variety of offers. The one I choose was Ageinvisible. I have a letter where I called in and cancelled the offer within the given time. They sent me a letter confirming the cancellation and that was the end of it. They turned around and took 68.00 dollars out of my account for the product.

This company has used underhanded tactics and means to confuse the customer which are unrealistic to get this money. I want my money back. I have the letter of cancellation to confirm this. It depleted my account and has made me afraid to do anything with my computer not to mention my opinion of Wal-mart and the kind of people they deal with.

shopped, went to the checkouts and all the self checkouts were out of order. all green lights but the cashier said that this was out of order, then the next one and so on... went to the checkout with a cashier and they said that that person was the last one in the line.. mismanagement or predigest. only 3 checkouts in the whole store. i will never go back... i left and left my food and items.

I didn't recieve one of bags when I left wal-mart. When I got home I called 6 times to talk with mr.oliver On the last call his secratary told me she wasnt sure when he would be in, so I asked well why did you leave me on the phone for waiting for 30 minutes then , She gave no answer when I asked what her name was she ( REFUSED) to give it.

On October 29, 2009, I went to Walmart to purchase fresh ground hamburger meat for dinner that evening. I grabbed hamburger buns, lettuce, tomatoes, chips and lean ground beef. I raced home to fix supper for my soon to be arriving copy only to find that the FRESH GROUND BEEF WAS FROZEN! I'm not talking cold, I'm talking frozen solid.

One side was slightly thawed, probably becaue I had to stand in line for more than 10 minutes before I could be checked out. I then had to rearrange my bags because the check out girl was headed home and had shoved my hamburger buns in with the hamburger meat and the lettuce I bought.

My drive home took another 15 minutes and because I was cooking supper immediately upon unloading the car, I carried the groceries in, unloaded the bags onto the kitchen cabinet, and went back to change clothes. This process took another 10 minutes. I washed the lettuce, tomato, and onion and sliced them for our condiments, cleared my table and set it for the company and proceded to cook. Imagine my surprise to find that the meat was frozen. Even more surpising is the fact that it was still VERY frozen after all of this time.

I called the Walmart corporate office to lodge my complaint later that evening and was told that "someone would get back with me". I don't consider that an appropriate response. I had to switch from hamburgers to hamburger helper, something I would never have served company, because the hamburger meat was too frozen and the time of their arrival was too near. My dinner was ruined, I wasted my onions, tomato and lettuce, and all I got from Walmart in concern was an I'm sorry you feel you had a bad experience and we'll pass this information on and someone will get back to you.

I paid 8 bucks for fresh meat and that's not what I got. Nor did I get an apology or an offer of a refund. I will no longer be buying my meat from Walmart. I had suspected for some time that my ground beef was not as fresh as indicated, now I'm certain. I am concerned about the healthiness of this practice. Is this howthey keep their ground beef fresh?

I wanted to purchase two gift cards. Clerk had trouble with one of cards. I suggested he get a new card which he did. It took him about 10 minutes to ring up my items. I had my two good cards, and he wanted to give me the one he said hadn't worked. I told him I didn't want one that didn't work. As I was pushing my cart out towards the door I decided to look at sales slip. I was charged for the card that didn't work. Went to customer service and was told they needed a manager with key to open drawer.

After seven calls by lady behind the counter, another person, plus a salesman-----and forty minutes later, no one showed up. I am not impressed with this behavior. It is impossible to get the home company office to complain directly. I talked to someone from Customer Service named Garrett yesterday and was informed the store manager would call me in a few working days. Excuse me, I want the 50 back I was incorrectly charged plus compensation for the aggrevation.

The Valley View Store has always had a problem. My personal opinion is if you have people that don't do their jobs, you fire them. Another problem I first encountered when entering the store was trying to get pictures from my digital camera developed in a Fuji machine. It took my card, and wouldn't give it back. Someone finally came over and opened the machine and got my card out. If machines are broke down, put up a sign so customers don't need to deal with that issue.
