Martha Stewart Patio Tables

Stephen of Phoenix, AZ (08/18/07)
I purchased a glass top patio table and 6 chairs from K-Mart three years ago. The table glass exploded into a million pieces without anyone touching the table. I went to the store I purchased this table from and was told by the manager that we would have to contact the manufacturer.

My wife and sister in-law received several cuts to thier legs and I am still without a table on my patio.

Carole of Sarasota FL (06/24/07)

We were having our daughters 9th birthday pool party. A couple of our guests were sitting at our glass table purchased from K-mart when we heard the most incredible explosion. The glass table top shattered into a million sharp pieces.

Our guests and the children were terrified. We thought it was a gun that had gone off. We were frantic as we had so many young children and pets the glass pieces were in slivers. The guests that were sitting on the table had glass slivers all over them. We got them into the shower but they were pretty scratched up. This totally ruined our child’s birthday party as it took literally hours to try to clean up the area.

Spring of 2001, we purchased a Montecello Patio set from Kmart. One afternoon in late July 2003, we heard a loud explosion and went outside and our glass patio table was in a million pieces on our deck. We were quite upset that the table was ruined.

On this evenings news, 5-8-07, there was a story about this same thing happen to a local couple. Come to find out, that many cases have been sited regarding this table exploding.

I went outside in my back yard on my patio deck. My Martha Stewart glass table top was shattered into a million pieces all over the deck. I just bought this set in June of 06.I called the Kmart that I purchased it from and they told me that there was nothing they could do.

Sandra of Ripon, WI March 31, 2007

Sandra of Ripon WI (03/31/07)

The last three Revlon curling irons that I bought broke. They fall apart where the rod and the handle join. I bought different kinds at different prices, and none of them last.
