I sold a New portable nebulizer over Ebay. In the listing I did not offer a refund. The buyer demanded a refund 1 week later. I explained to her that I would not send her a refund but that I would send her a replacement. She refused the replacement and the claim was escalated through Paypal. Now after I have called them and Ebay numerous times. Verified and reverified my case they are finding for the buyer. So she is shipping back a piece of equipment that I will have to throw away. I am out 83.00 and paypal refuses to release the funds in my account to pay my ebay seller fees for January. This company is commiting fraud and screwing sellers all the way around. I have had to close my bank account, cancel my credit cards, run up my cell phone bill, and spend hours on the phone getting no where. My advice is stay away from Ebay & Paypal!!

My issue is fairness: A seller was given more time to respond to a deadline that I was over an item that was not sent to me as described. The complaint was closed the day that I was late the seller had a month past her date to state her side. Had she had to stick to the rules this would have been taken care of months ago and in my favor. I saved no records I expected no issues. Oh, except the BBB complaint that I made. I will forward that if you like.

A loss of 134. and change and wasted time.

Bought item through Ebay for just under 50 (10 boxes of medifast shakes) and paid through paypal using my debit card. Seven days later Ebay advises me I should NOT complete that transaction and had erased any history of that transaction on ebay, including where I had paid and item number, and the seller was kicked off. After much confusion how to file with Ebay, since the item number no longer was in existence, I went to PayPay. They invested and found my complaint valid, but that there was no money in that person's account and therefore they could not refund me.

Some buyer protection plan they have! A multi-million dollar company linked with Ebay and they cannot honor a simple guarantee or debit that fraudulent seller's bank account? This is big business at its worst -- absolute deception. Loss of my money, loss of my peace of mind in dealing with PayPal or Ebay. No protection for the little buyers that have built these two businesses into what they are today.

Someone tried to transfer money from my Paypal account (400, 250, 400, & 250) without my authorization. Since the funds were not in my Paypal account, Paypal tried to withdraw the money from my bank account, which resulted in 4 32 NSF charges. Paypal will not reimburse me for the NSF charges incurred due to their faulty security system, nor will Washington Mutual refund the NSF charges what were not my fault but the result of fraud.

My bank transferred all my funds from my other account to cover the NSF charges ON CHRISTMAS EVE! As a result, I couldn't even buy Christmas dinner. I have NO money in my account now and have had to borrow my kids' Christmas money they received from relatives.
