Omar of Tuscumbia AL (03/06/08) My wife and I filed a claim for hail damage on our roof. We got estimates from 3 different roofing companies and all agreed the roof needed to be replaced. The claim adjuster set up an appointment with my wife but he decided to show up a day early with out contacting me or my wife. He left a message stating he did not see any damages just nails that needed to be hammered down. I called the adjuster to inform him I did not agreed with his assessment and I wanted him to show me with the roofer to reassess my roof. The adjuster and the roofer set appointment time but the claim adjuster tried to come a couple hours ahead of the scheduled time. The roofer showed the adjuster all the hail damage, marked the spots and lifted the roof shingles where there was damage to my roof and boards on my roof. The adjuster said he did not agree with the roofer and felt that the roof needed minor repairs. First time he inspected the roof he did not see any damage. Now it need minor repairs. After I rejected his offer to patch up my roof. I informed him I would have to get some legal advice about the matter.
I have suffered physical damage and loss time from work trying to get this matter resolved. Please have someone to contact me for some legal advice.
Fitzpatrick of Mount Laurel, NJ December 4, 2007
Fitzpatrick of Mount Laurel NJ (12/04/07) I enrolled with Travelers Advantage for one year. I had to call twice to ensure that the renewal membership was cancelled. Recently, they billed my credit card for one year membership without my consent or knowledge, but I saw it on my next statement. When I called on November 28th, they would only agree to refund part of the amount charged and I would have to wait two weeks.

T of New York, NY February 24, 2006
T of New York NY (02/24/06) Payments on my policy were maintained and paid by JP Morgan Chase automatic bill payer.
One day I get a check for my premium back in the mail and a letter saying my policy had been cancelled. I never received notice of cancellation, nor refund of paid premiums (if they keep the premiums and cancel before you need it, it is obviously a windfall to them and a loss to you). I called the gentlemen and indicated that if an accounting showed they missed an automatic payment then it would be paid.
Nope they said, cancelled. I think any company worth its salt would reinstate based on a tender of premium particulalrly where payments were made automatically. Here, no notice of cancellation with a chance to cure was ever received, no notice to the required third party (to prevent this from happening) was received, and yet the company refuses to reinstate. This is an unfair windfall - they have been taking my premiums for ten years, and now give me the international sign of friendship? My understanding is if they cancel before a pyment is made, they need to return ALL your premiums plus interest. This also seems to be a fraud on the consumer. HELP!
