AIG Faces Workers' Comp Audit

AIG is a big important company, all right, but it's always a question whether size equates to customer service and value. Consumers and regulators alike are taking a jaundiced view of AIG lately.

New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has filed a lawsuit against AIG, alleging that the firm manipulated its books to deceive regulators and the investing public, as has Ohio. The company faces a Worker's Comp audit and Gulf Coast homeowners are up in arms over the treatment they received from AIG after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
