i can see alot of the staples that hold my sheetrock on, the carpet didnt last long i put floating floors in both my living rooms the windows fog up my bathroom vents leak very bad. i wish they would have to buy this back, all the door knobs are breaking i had t replace them. the contractors never did get the ceilings right. my storm door dont match up right, my back door you have to keep the dead bolt locked if not the door will open by itself becase the door was not installed right

My wife and I purchased a FLEETWOOD HOME from FACTORY EXPO of Washington April 2007. A down payment was made to get the 15% off for cash. I'm disabled and require 36 doors and ordered 5 doors along with other items. The plans and photos of the house that S. FRITZ sent us, no way matches what we purchased. 1st exterior is different, the kitchen is different, the appliances are not what we ordered and paid for. I requested this house be built to our specifications because I did not want a structurally altered home with all those door frames cut out. S. FRITZ assured us that our home would not be built until we paid for it. That was good for us, because I had to prep this land for a Modular Home.

We took a trip to Washington (factory) to see how they built these homes, and to finish the contract. We paid in cash, the house, and transportation, to Crescent City California. The house delivered is not the house she showed us, nor the kitchen the same, nor the appliances the same as the contract. We have walls in our house that are so out of square, total removal is about the only solution. Several doors are so improperly installed, a person can see into the other room, WITH THE DOOR CLOSED, right over the top. Several walls are approximately 1 out of plumb top to bottom.

When the house was dropped off at the bottom of the hill, it had so much damage inside, I didn't know where to start. I asked the driver what happened and he said they hit a bridge too hard. It buckled the roof joists, cracked in half joint line timber, the floor moves, the walls are seperating from the ceiling, etc. Please copy the link I am including to see the photos. I believe we were shown the good stuff, and then swapped out.

We are unable to complete the joining of this house because of too much damage. A huge strain on our marriage because this was to be my wife's last kitchen. It appears that one vendor made the kitchen cabinets, and another made the drawers, and some are so miss matched, the drawers simply fall off the rollers. Other extras we paid for have been off centered, it appears this house may have been a dispaly model as it has other feature repairs where ceiling cans have been removed and poorly patched. The original paperwork that S. FRITZ sent us shows a two dormer house with a nice kitchen, what we got was a three dormer and poorly made kitchen. The damage caused by the drivers will reach 15k to 20k and to get the rest of the house fixed will reach approximately 25k plus.

I have a Fleetwood home that has had a leak for several years, after many repairs it still leaks and now we have mold growing down the center line of the home. There is now a beam in the living room that is bowed and the floor squeaks .Fleetwood said there is nothing than can do about it.

We have paid out of pocket many times to have this problem fixed only to find that it still exists.

In August 2000, we moved into our new Fleetwood home. There were some cosmetic problems that were fixed without any problems. But as time has passed we are having a lot of issues with our home. We constantly have condensation on our windows, to the point that you can't see through them. If anything touches the outside walls it causes mold to grow. We are now having problems with the wiring in half of our kitchen. The breaker keeps tripping, and we have unplugged everything on that breaker and it still trips. I have extension cords ran so I can keep my fridge and my freezer running.

The exhaust fans in our bathrooms drip water. The one in our master bathroom drips constantly and now it doesn't even work anymore. I'm sure it is condensation. We have 2 children and I am afraid that this house is unsafe to live in but we are stuck with it because of what we owe.

Mold grows on outside walls that have anything touching them. My family has a lot of colds and sinus infections etc. My wife has unexplained skin problems that began after moving into this house.
