Sears Water Conditioner and Softener |
|||||||||||||||
|
In 1998 I purchased a kenmore water conditioner/softener. Recently I noticed a clicking sound and called the customer service. I was told that all my water was going down the drain. The system is located in the garage. I was very disturbed in that when I tried to call for service, I was told that the service call to come out would be $49 and that I would have to call another number. I have been a Sears customer since my father and mother used Sears in the 60s. I don't have the parts number or know the parts. The original Customer service for the water softener informed me that the water was going down the drain. In Florida for that to have been happening for over four days mean that my water bill will be very high. I was told to bypass the system and turn it off. The parts cost just as much as a new system. I am upset because I should have been given the pros and cons of repairing a motor/ and installing a Fuel Rotor Kit. I purchased a Kenmore Demand MOD No 625348490 in August 98. I don't have a problem if I need a new one but I feel that I should be given some type of discount and informed of the latest product. My water bill is going to be very high. The frustration lies in that I had to call three number s and could not get assistance. Report Your Experience
