Bought the Tromm steam Washer & Dryer ( 1500 + tax just for the washer!).  The dryer blew up within the first week.

LGs return policy is within 48 hours.  After 48 hours they have to send a repair service to see if it can be fixed.  Service came to house TWO WEEKS later to confirm that it will not work, its done, and needs to be REPLACED.  Nobody can tell me when I could expect my new dryer.

I wanted the ridiculous steam washer and now look - can not see ANY steam and the service is the worst of ANY industry in the USA!

I have an LG front loader washer. I loved this appliance with all my heart until the gunky and smelly mold/mildew build-up began. Now I am always trying to wipe up and it always comes back. LG customer service told me that the manual says to dry the gasket after each use.

First, why should I have to? Second, the manual doesn't say this. What the manual says, in a tiny section, is to keep it dry to maintain a proper seal. Nowhere does it warn that if I don't keep it dry after each use I will have gross, smelly and unhealthy mold or mildew in my home.

I purchased a new LG Front load dryer on February 28, 2006 from Home Depot. It was delivered to my home approximately two weeks later and set up by a subcontractor hired by Home Depot. On April 23, 2006 and withput warning my dryer suddenly failed. I called LG to report the matter. a technician came to my home and advised the power cord was not installed properly and shorted out the dryer. He conferred with LG's technical support and ordered parts. he came back to work on the dryer. installed the ordered parts and new power cord. The dryer would not operate.

He again conferred with LG technical support. They ordered more parts. Almost every part in the dryer. He came back again installed the parts and the dryer still did not work. They ordered the rest of the parts not previously replaced and reordered the parts he just replaced. He came back for a third time on May 8, 2006. He replaced all the parts and the dryer was not operational. After three visits the tech repair center finally condemmed my dryer and deemed it not repairable. They advised I would have a new dryer within ten days. All I needed to do was fax in my proof of purchase.

On May 9, 2006, I faxed in my proof of purchase. Instead of being forwarded to the return authorization dept. it sat on a customer service representatives desk until Thursday May 11, 2006, when I called to follow up on the status. They advised their customer service rep. overlooked sending the proof of purchase to the return authorization dept and they would take care of it immediately. However, they could not tell me when I could expect to hear from that department and I was told tommorow was Friday so nothing would get done.

I was very angry at this point so I called home depot and their manager called LG and told me they would be calling me the next day on May 17 and that I could possibly have my dryer the same day if they processed the return. I received a telephone message from LG saying my dryer was ordered but no comment as to when I could expect its arrival. I called to get more information.I was advised that a logistics company would be contacting me to arrange delivery of my dryer. I called the delivery company to follow-up on May 22,2006. they indicated that they received the job on May 17,2006, but can not pick up the dryer until it is released form the LG Warehouse. No time frame was given as when I could expect to receive delivery of my dryer.

I called home depot again on May 22, 2006 to get assistance from their management. I await their return call. I have been without a dryer for a month.

I purchase a Washing Machine Model WM2075Cake LG TROMM. It was delivered Tuesday, when I started using it I noticed It was leaking. I called Bestbuy to observe were the leak was coming from the returned on thursday with a new machine, they took the old one. The new one started leaking immediately from the front of the machine, again I called Best Buy -- they started to say these are great machines that this is very unusual then he start telling me that the machine leaks because I dont have a water catching pan under my machine.  I told him 2 buckets of water are not suppose to come out of a machine. My carpet got wet and water leaked from the upstairs laundry room to the downstairs kitchen.

My LG washing machine broke down after 13 months use. Had a 2yr guarantee, tried to call the services centre usine number given on back of manuel, eventually got through after 2 days to be told they hadn't dealt with LG for 4 yrs!! Eventually got through to service centre Fri 7/04/06, company called ServiceLine, arranged for someone to call out Tues 11/04, took day off work they never showed up. After much to do the service call centre arranged for someone to call out at 8am the following morning, he left at 8.45am saying I needed a part & if it was in stock he would get someone to drop it in tomorrow, but instead of ordering it there and then he waited until the end of the day.

Following day they were unable to come out, serviceline unhelpful, no one senior to talk to, manager was 'out', argued that it was there mistake and they should put themselves out ie courior the part across but no they don't do that. I tried to explain the meaning of customer service to no avail. Would only promise for the following Tuesday 18/04. Rang LG who were sympathetic but could only advise I wrote in with a complaint, again explained customer service and that they were Service Lines customers but again it idn't sink in, again refused to put me through to a senior person.

No washing machine over Easter but at least an engineer was coming on Tuesday. Another day off work but when I rang to confirm a time they hadn't had the part in, the delivery hadn't arrived. Couldn't confirm a day at all. Rang LG and after much complaining the call centre person spoke to Serviceline and told me to ring in 20mins when they would give me a time fo today when the engineer would be out. Two phone calls later the Service Centre call centre staff laugh down the phone when I suggest the engineer coming out today. Ring LG and my call is esculated to Jason in the escalation team. who rang Serlines esculation team and I was promised a phone call from the engineer to let me know when they would be coming out. No phone call came even though I chased it again with Jason. It is now 17.37 and I have no idea when my machine will be fixed.
