Dottie of Goshen, OH April 11, 2009 Dottie of Goshen OH (04/11/09) Jennifer of Durango, CO March 18, 2009 Jennifer of Durango CO (03/18/09) I live in a remote area of the west and it took Electrolux nearly a month to find a company (National Appliance Repair) to accept the job. It took National Appliance Repair over a month to ship me suspect parts and another two weeks to find a repair person. The repair person came out three times, couldn't repair the dryer, but, unknown to me, reported back that he had fixed it. Neither National Appliance Repair or the repair person returned my calls so I went back to Frigidaire/Electrolux and was told that there was nothing they could do since their records show the dryer was repaired despite my assurances that the dryer had not been repaired. After many rounds with both Electrolux and National Appliance Repair I am back on the list for yet more attempted repairs. I wish I could be hopeful. It is disappointing that Electrolux would take their share of the 1,000 I spent on this appliance and fail to stand behind their faulty product. I will never purchase a frigidaire appliance again and recommend the same to all readers. They are one of the worst customer service companies I have ever dealt with. By the way - Best Buy does not get any kudos, either. They said they had a 2 week return policy on major appliances and they did not get involved with intervening with the manufacturer on lemon products. Ann of Brooklyn, NY March 9, 2009 Ann of Brooklyn NY (03/09/09) I tried to seal it the gaps with electrical tape which does not hold cause of the heat from the dryer. So Dependable came out a second time and confirmed it was faulty. They came back a 3rd time with caulking and high heat glue and told me to wait 24 hrs. before I used it. IT DID NOT WORK...IT IS MELTING! I called Frigidaire customer service back and they said to call Dependable Repair back but they will not pay for any parts since it is out of warantee.
