My glass table shattered. Now I do not have a top for the table. Also, the paint is peeling of the chairs.

I purchased a Martha Stewart glass top table set with 6 cushioned chairs 4 years ago. Saturday of this week, we had six children sitting at the table on our deck getting ready to eat pizza. We heard a loud pop and the table shattered. We ran over to check the children five had cuts. Thank goodness none needed medical attention. It could have been a lot worse. I took picures and still can't believe what happened.

Economical impact-We just will have to buy a new set. The glass lodged between deck board and we had to take them up to get to the glass. The children asked us not to buy and glass top table again. We pressure washed the deck three times and hope that it took care of the glass. Ointment and bandages took care of the cuts.

Glas top table Martha Stewart arcasia Collection, 9 months old. Came out this morning and it was totally shattered. It is in a protected place and there were no extreme temperature changes. Read this site and found this is common.

No real damage but now I have a usless table. I called K Mart and there recommendation was to by a new ond as it would be cheaper than a replacement glass Yeah right

I bought the Martha Stewart oblong patio table, with umbrella, and 6 chairs. One day it just shattered into a million pieces. Glass everywhere. We were so concerned about the glass someone might pick up on their bare feet out by the pool, not to mention our pets. It took hours and 3 of us to clean up. It was the weirdest sound and to see it happen. K-Mart won't do any thing, most people said just buy a new set or table. I haven't priced the replcement table top yet, don't know if can be ordered.
