I bought a Simplicity Sofa 10 years ago. At that time, I would have rated the company and the service 5 stars without hesitation. Now I am trying to place a slipcover order. They sent the fabric samples I requested, but, when I tried to contact the (phone and email) several times, they did not respond. Now I would give them a one star. It WAS an excellent company with an excellent product. Sad to see what has happened to it.

Initially, Martha provided great customer service when I placed my order in August 2024. I was told six weeks for production and delivery. That time frame came and went. I was able to talk her once more weeks after the delivery was to be completed. She said it was at the warehouse ready to ship. Then I was complete ghosted despite texts, phone calls and emails. I even contacted Jeff, the former owner. He says he went to the factory, talked to Martha, and said my sofa was ready to ship and would be soon. Still, no sofa ever arrived and I never heard from Martha again. Luckily, my credit card handled the refund because it was a $6k purchase. I do not recommend ordering from Simplicity Sofa if you are not local.

I ordered a Lorelei full size and Lorelei mid size sofa. It arrived March 2020. The mid size sofa was okay but the full size had puckered seat cushions and the back cushions out of shape. It looked nothing like the photograph of the same style on their website. The photo I took was five days after I received it because I wanted to give it a few days to acclimate after shipping. Because of Covid shutdown it was two weeks in shipping from North Carolina to Oregon. I contacted Jeff and he tried to work with me to remedy the cushions. I took them to several upholstery shops but nothing changed. I was told I could ship it back if we had all the original packing material but we didn't. Lesson learned! Do not purchase furniture from across country!! Fast forward to 2025. I've lived with this ugly thing for five years. My sentence is served and I'm purchasing two sofas LOCALLY!

Simplicity Sofas provided exceptional furniture for my room! The quality is outstanding, and the pieces are both stylish and comfortable. The customer service was top-notch, and delivery was seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their living space!!!

I needed a sofa for my living room, and this side sofa is exactly what I was looking for! The compact size fits perfectly next to my door, and the minimalist design adds a modern touch. I'm extremely happy with this sofa.

The furniture at this store is absolutely stunning. I was amazed by the attention to detail and the quality of the materials used. Plus, the staff was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my purchase. Highly recommend checking them out!

I ordered my sofa on 11/24/20. Due to Covid-19, ensuing supply chain shortages, and an increase of orders, the sofa arrived in August 2022. Let me start by saying that the sofa is everything anyone would want in a piece of furniture. It's well made, attractive, durable, and comfortable. It's held up well. Three stars instead of five due to customer service issues with Martha **. Along this journey to get the sofa, Martha, in my opinion, gave unrealistic and vague responses as to when the sofa would be finished and delivered. Initially, she assured me, as had Jeff **, whom she replaced, white glove service was available in my area.

I ordered from them in 2019 while Jeff ran and the sofa arrived. I ordered from them in 2022 and am now 4 months beyond the initial timeline and rotate between hearing nothing back or hearing it will be shipped next week and nothing ever happens. I now consider Simplicity Sofas AKA simplicitysofas.com a fraudulent company. The new owner are just doing what they can to perpetuate the fraud beyond the credit card refund timeline. Buyer beware. I will update this if something changes.

I originally was very concerned when my order was delayed from what I was originally told by Jeff who later retired. Then after I was finally able to connect with Martha who took over for Jeff I felt much better as she assured me my items were now being worked on. She did explain that with Covid and Supply Chain issues, things were delayed and that they were working extra to try and get product done. So now I want to share the positive part, my wife and I are so happy with our new sofa and 2 love seats that arrived... They are beautiful, comfortable and amazing. I would definitely recommend the product and hopefully the Simplicity Sofa staff can communicate any delays better to their customers.

After many months of delay and unreturned emails and phone calls, and after the NC Consumer Protection office was unsuccessful opening communication lines, we took a trip to Highpoint NC and visited the factory unannounced. We met with Martha and when we provided our names, she was very familiar with our order and very knowledgeable about the company issues. Perhaps our surprise visit helped expedite our order since we received it within two weeks of our visit. Excellent quality, easy assembly, as advertised. The company is obviously short of staff in all departments, and that may be the cause of concern. It appears that Martha is doing what she can to fulfill orders. Communication needs immediate attention.
