My mail has been misdelivered for over a year. As a consequence, my mortgage statement was not received and I had to pay a $50.00 late fee. My neighbor's mail was a mess with carrier as well. The Delaware USPS in San Mateo, CA took the mail carrier off the route for a month - now he is coming back. I am disgusted with their choice to return him but was told it has to do with postal unions. It's no wonder the postal service is broke and in the process of being bailed out for 2012.

I keep calling the Post Office. I live in the complex and I had to call the Post Office in way NJ twice, and I am still not receiving all my mail but I still get the last tenant's mail. When is this going to be corrected? They are always in a rush because we are at the end of the run about 3:00, waiting for their response.

Postal carrier continuously places all other suite number's mail in our mailbox. A note was placed outside by the mailboxes letting her know that mail was being distributed in the wrong box every single day, but the issue continues. Not to mention this carrier will be on her cell phone on personal calls speaking loudly while distributing mail. She is very unprofessional and is not completing her job accurately. I need this to stop because every day I have to walk to each suite and distribute the appropriate mail. I do not have time to do this with my hectic work schedule.

I have been having repeated issues with my local post office. I started receiving forwarded mail at my address for an Anthony ** back in April of this year. In fact, I received a postage forwarding packet that I promptly sent back, returned to sender for incorrect forwarded address. Ever since then, I have been receiving Anthony **'s mail. I contacted my local post office. I spoke to 3 or 4 different "managers" and even spoke with a rep in the consumer affairs department. I have lived at this same address since 2006 and my only roommate is my dog. I have spoken with the above rep on 2 separate occasions. I was re-assured both times that the issue would be handled and I would no longer receive Mr. **'s mail. I've grown tired of the effort that I placed on this and expect immediate resolution at this point. If I did my job like this for 6 months while consumers continuously complained, I would no longer have a job. This is ridiculous.

I have been getting other people's mails. On 23 August 2011, I received a piece of mail for ** and two pieces for **, but nothing for me. Who is getting my mail? There are lots of people who are out of work that would love a job and would do it properly. Fire the incompetent.

My name appears on my mailbox, yet for the past 4 years I have been receiving mail for a certain "Edward Thomas", the previous tenant.
Tell me, don't employees at the post office need to take a literacy test before they are hired? They have told me sometimes a different mailman might take over the route. Well, what if I'm there for 10 years ... do I have to keep getting this guy's mail? I'm sorry, but that's absurd. Don't the mailmen know how to read a name on the mailbox? I'm sick and tired of complaining about this.

For the past few months, at least once a week, I would get a piece of mail in my box for a Shelissa McC. I would stick that on top of the box and the next day, it would be gone. Yesterday, the same thing happened with a catalog. I stuck it back in the mailbox. Today, Oct 2nd, not only was the catalog not taken but 8 other pieces of mail, all addressed to Ms McC, were left in my mailbox. None of the mail delivered was for me.
I have complained before about the service but did not receive a satisfactory reply. Since the carrier at the time said "Sorry about that" the Main Post Office here considered that was all that could be done. I would like MY mail delivered to MY address and I'm sure Ms McC would like the same courtesy.
