Constantly calling me to claim I owe the Cross Country Banks a Visa Card Debt from May 22, 2006. I have never charged anything to this bank and I have no idea of the debt she refers to. She first stated I owed 383.79. I think she is attempting to find out my credit card#. Could I block this call?

Annoyance to me.

They were harassing me, and I found a lot of reports on here about them.

It appears there was a class action lawsuit, and I got a whopping 11 bucks for a settlement. Frankly, I'm just glad to get these jerks off my credit.

I had received a Cross Country Bank card about 7 or 8 years ago. I never got to use the card, yet now they are claiming that I have a balance of over 10,000.  First of all, my credit limit was only 300 when I received the card.  I had a credit limit negative of 40, after all of their fees.

This company needs to be stopped immediately.  They are fraudulent and deceptive.  I get at least four calls a day from these people, harassing me and my family.  A few of them use foul language to my daughter who was only nine years old at the time.  My credit is ruined, and I am very stressed.  My children are now 11 and 7 and are subject to harassing phone calls day and night--even on Sundays and after 9 p.m.  Who do these people think they are?  This fraud should not be allowed!

I was contacted by NCO Financial Services, for Cross Country Bank, in regards to a VISA card that I never had. NCO had no information for me and said I would need to send a letter if I wanted to dispute the claim that I owed money.

Gerald of N.richland Hls. TX (01/29/08)
In November of 2003 I obtained a Cross Country Bank visa card. Twice a month I will mail a money order of 200.00 off to my account, so I can make purchases ( gas and emergencies). In August of 2004 I got laid off my job. Immediately I called the bank and told them my situation and asked them to discontinue my card account, in which at that time there was a 13.00 balance. The representative said they cannot discontinue my account. I would have to send 200.00 which was my limit at that time or just send the minimum of 15.00. My reply was if I had 15.00 right now I would put food on the table for my children. So then I was charged the 15.00 membership fee, also a 30.00 late fee, and a 30.00 over the limited fee.

One year later I received a bill for 1500.00; six months later came a letter asking for a settlement for 700.00. At the time I asked to closed the account I owed for no purchases. If anything I'll pay 200.00.
