I had two credit cards with this company, one for 500 and another for 1200. I have paid the 500 card in full and continue to pay on the 1200 limit card. It has been over six years on this bill. Even though I use the card with miniumal charges, the balance cannot be paid in full and Even though I always pay more than the minimum amount it doesn't seem to decrease. I just don't understand why I have a interest of almost 29 percent. I usually pay about 100 or more each month and at times double the payment if the account is a few days late., but the bill never seems to decrease, I just see added on charges continually. This was mistake on my part to get this card, but like everyone else my credit isn't that good but okay.

I feel like I will owe on 1200 bill for the rest my life,

I had a credit card with cross country bank they offered me an increas in my credit limit which i agreed to when i recived my biil they had chagred me for the increase. It wasn't the type of card where you put money on it and that's your limit either And no matter how much i sent they would always call and say the never recived payment and I would have all these extra charges on a credit card that i could'nt use after the increse. They did call my home and work somtimes the craziest was when I worked a Double At work on the Overnite shift and they call my building at 2Am . the last bill i recived from the was september of 2003.

I went to a credit repair place in June of 2005 where they handled people with bad credit and helped them get back on track, Cross Country bank never came up at all during the entire process and havent heard from them until recently i recived a hearing notice from the Magisterial, i showed up and the never did and now there appealing the judgement. What steps do i take next? because it looks like they will just keep not showing up to court and appealing the judgements till I decided not to show up so that they win.

they damaged my credit for such a long time i thought i took care of it but it reared it's head again

I recall applying for a Cross Country Visa back in 2002/3. After recieving the card, I realized that the fees were outrageous, and I called them asking if I could return the card and close the acct. They said I could, so I did. Jump to 2008, I received a payment demand letter from a collection agency stating I have a balance of 1400 on an account with Applied Card Systems(Cross Country). Mind you, the original card had a credit limit of 300, with 200+/- being eaten up in fees. What do I do?

My I.D., all of my credit cards & check book were stolen in Las Vegas, NV in 2000. I reported all my credit cards to the fraud dept. & the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. On 07/21/08, Cross Country Bank, 8 years later, assigned my stolen credit card to Paragon Way, Inc., a collection agency.

Harassement & attempting to collect on a known stolen credit card(s).
