I see all these people have the same problem except I was sued by Cross country band for not showing up in court which I didnt even get a notice, and they came yesturday and Seized my only car and says I got 10 days to pay it or they will take my car and sell it for the fees which they added another 1200.00 onto. the credit car was only 200.00 and 150.00 were fees they put on before I even got the card. now I am left without a car and I am unemployed what can I do?

This card was offered to me with a 500 limit in 2001. None of which was available due to all the fees. 7 years later and they are on my credit report as a charge off for over 1200. There was a class action law suit in the state I live (NY). What can I do to have removed from credit report?

My credit score has been lowered. Have tried to have investigated by all 3 bureaus and comes back that they found it to be valid.

Sought and got a credit judgment against me for a credit card. The judgment was issued 12/2003. Is there anything I can do get this removed due to fraudulent credit practices.

Bad credit and low scores. Can't purchase first home.

Ian of Goose Creek, SC August 22, 2008

Ian of Goose Creek SC (08/22/08)
When I was 21, I got a card from these people. The original limit was 350. However, I had less than 50 of available credit after they stuffed it with all their fees. I got behind on a payment once and they called my home six times in one day. I was sending them payments until I realized my balance was actually going up because my payment wasnt enough to cover all their ridiculous fees.

I stopped paying on it three years ago. I charged about 33 on that card and the balance has balooned to 2600. It has had very little effect on my credit since I have almost perfect credit otherwise. They still call and leave me nasty messages. They send me letters saying they will settle it for 1800. They will settle for nothing because that's what they are getting from me.

Dianne of Fort Gaines, GA August 21, 2008

Dianne of Fort Gaines GA (08/21/08)
In 1996 I applied for and received a credit card from Applied Card Bank/Cross Country Bank, with a credit limit of 400.00, from that 400.00 I ended up owing them 2101.50, which they are now taking me to court for, I did not use there card enough to owe them near that amount, the more I paid them the more I owed them, so in 1997 I call them and sent them an email to cancel and close out my account, which appearantly they did not because the bill kept getting higher,

so now as it stands they say I owe them 2101.50 and being taken to court for it. These people called my house day and night from sun up until sun down, even on Sundays, called my job constanly, caused me so much stress, I finally stopped answering the phone, and finally had to put a block on my phone, just to keep them from calling.
