TracFone - Lost Phone

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

First I lost my phone. I tried to explain that I have a drug dependent brother who has done this three times! All I had put on the phone was a $30 card, just in case. After three days of getting the run-around from your obviously incompetent employees, needless to say, I got nowhere! How can you call yourself a business? Every "American" I spoke with gave me a different answer ranging from "of course we can help u ma'am", to basically being told that I didn't have a chance in hell! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

I really hope that someday one of your "employees" will need assistance, and they will be treated as badly as you treat you customers.

My purse was stolen from my car w/my trac phone. I immediately called tracfone people to turn it off. The lady told me she turned it off. Then I asked about my remaining 97 min. She said, too bad -- you lose. Anyway, 9 hours later after my purse and phone were stolen my phone has not been turned off by the trac phone ppl. and the people who stole it are answering my phone.

My phone was stolen. I reported it to Tracfone who deactivated it. They told me that they could save the minutes on the phone and I could transfer them to a new phone but that I would have to wait a few weeks. I called back in a few weeks and they told me that they could do no such thing. They didn't even offer me an hour or anything to keep a customer. They lied to me. I would never buy from a company that lies again.

Damage Resulting: 274 airtime minutes that I paid for are now lost.
